- ArcadeTale: Snowdin Town -
ArcadeAhri had still not spoken to ArcadeNick since the accident. She remembers it as if it was yesterday.
- Flashback -
ArcadeAhri, ArcadeRosie, ArcadeChihiro, ArcadeKathy, and ArcadeNick were flying back to their homes. They went to Neo Japan for two weeks. It was a blast. They flew in a private jet, provided by ArcadeNick of course. Then... the plane started to become unstable. It rocked back and fourth violently. The sky darken out of nowhere and a lightning bolt struck one of the wings. The pilot, which was ArcadeNick, started to panic. His co-pilot was ArcadeKathy, who never flown a plane before, used her powers to level the jet. The door, leading to the pilots, was shut tight due to a malfunction. Out of fear, ArcadeAhri and company tried their best to pry the door open. She was scared out of her mind. She needed to know if her friend was safe. They ended up using their powers to do so. That made it worse. The blast from their magic caused nearby a door labeled "Exit" to become a hole. Air pulled them all out. The jet spiraled out of control.
The next thing that ArcadeAhri remembers is being in a hospital. Everyone had scrapes and bruises from the crash. ArcadeKathy unfortunately, was the worst of all. She fell into a coma. ArcadeAhri yelled at ArcadeNick, blaming him for the plane crashing. She almost choked the guy to death too. ArcadeRosie and ArcadeChihiro had to pry her away from ArcadeNick. ArcadeAhri huffed. She got ArcadeKathy's crystal out of rage. She cried that night and told herself that she will get ArcadeNick to pay for the damages he had done.
- Flashback ends -
ArcadeAhri gives a heavy sigh. ArcadeKathy still has not woken up. It has been two months since the accident. The doctors say that she will be fine. However, ArcadeAhri fears that ArcadeKathy may not come back.
"Okay. TT!Gaster is awake. When can we go home?" TT!Nick states. ArcadeAhri snaps out of her thoughts.
"TT!Gaster?" ArcadeAhri questions in a perplexed tone. She ignored TT!Nick's question.
"Yes. TT!Gaster told me that he and I are from an AU called TemTale." TT!Nick explains. He then glances at her with caution.
"Why are you staring at me?" ArcadeAhri said slowly getting hostile.
"When can we go home?" TT!Nick inquires slowly. He begins to read her mind. Hopefully she does not feel it.
"You can't. We don't have an AU portal devise ready." ArcadeAhri asserts herself rather bitterly.
"Is it broken?" TT!Nick asked calmly. ArcadeAhri scoffs at this.
"N-No. It's just not ready." she replies, now getting defensive.
It is broken. ArcadeGaster and his assistant are working hard to fix the machine. She thought about asking ArcadeNick, but ArcadeAhri does not trust him. She has been helping by working on it since it became broken. There are parts missing and the science behind it is very complex. Too complex for ArcadeAhri that it hurts her head just thinking about it.
"We did not use this 'AU portal' when we came here." TT!Nick pointed out.
"No one is that strong to break the barrier of the AU's." ArcadeAhri retorts crossing her arms.
TT!Nick is tempted to tell her otherwise. ArcadeJena came into the room followed by ArcadeSans and TT!Gaster. They were secretly eavesdropping to their conversation. They entered the room.
"Does that mean you two are stuck here?" ArcadeSans asked.
TT!Gaster became slightly pale. ArcadeAhri then glares at TT!Nick. She does not want to spend another second near him.
"I can go see this AU portal devise. See if TT!Gaster and I can fix it." TT!Nick responds coldly.
(Heartache [ArcadeTale version] plays)
"You can't just go. What part of what I said did you not understand, Nicholas!" ArcadeAhri shrieked.
She was enraged. TT!Nick paused. His tallness did not intimidated ArcadeAhri, it was his seriousness that did. The two are sent to a fight zone.
"My name is not Nicholas. It is Nick Green, simple as that. I don't know what beef you have with your Nick, but I am not him. Don't you place your anger on me, just because I look like him." TT!Nick says in a very serious tone.
He just stands there in front of ArcadeAhri. Tension in the air became toxic. ArcadeAhri is poisoned. She snaps. Her SOUL of Hope is fueled with pure anger. It is white with a single navy blue feather in the center. The entire SOUL is covered by light blue transparent shards. The shards make a star-shape. These shards represent the SOUL of Harmony. ArcadeAhri has two SOUL traits. She choose the "Fight" button.
ArcadeAhri uses Demon Fireball. A ball of fire appears from ArcadeAhri's SOUL. TT!Nick's SOUL did not appear. He physically dodges the fireball with ease. TT!Nick is sparing ArcadeAhri. ArcadeAhri grows angrier.
"I don't care what AU universe you are in! All of you Nicks are the same! You promise something great like going to Neo Japan for two weeks! Then your supposed private safe jet goes down like a bug! We get injured and you sent Kathy to a coma! How is that not your fault!?" ArcadeAhri screamed.
A big red angry symbol appears next to ArcadeAhri. ArcadeAhri choses the same action. This time she uses a move called Earthquake Stone.
TT!Nick transforms into his dragon form. TT!Nick's dragon form is grey with a sky blue underbelly. There are two blue "scars" under both of his blue eyes. His sharp claws seem to be ready to cut though anything. TT!Nick's movement stay calm as he watches ArcadeAhri's tail raise up. TT!Nick notices that her tail turns a dark yellow color with a white tip. ArcadeAhri raises her tail. They abruptly send a seismic wave with a few flying rocks onto the field.
TT!Nick dodges it with ease yet again. He flies gently to the ground. TT!Nick is sparing ArcadeAhri. The tension in the air is still toxic. ArcadeAhri continuously loses health. She now has 20 HP left. The fact that this Nick became a dragon made ArcadeAhri very frightened. In addition to that, ArcadeAhri has not noticed that she was poisoned until now.
"Have you asked ArcadeNick for his side of the story? Have you seen the hospital bill?" TT!Nick questioned in a very calm matter.
He transforms back into a human. ArcadeAhri finally calms down. TT!Nick is right. ArcadeAhri never asked ArcadeNick for his side of the story. She has never seen the hospital bill. The song ends as does the battle.
ArcadeJena is surprised that TT!Nick became a scary dragon. ArcadeSans did not like the fact that ArcadeAhri and TT!Nick were fighting. He is also terrified of TT!Nick. Tension in the air was gone. TT!Nick hands ArcadeAhri a cinnamon pie to regain her health back. The slice of cinnamon pie also cured her from the poison.
"Are you going to call him?" TT!Nick asked as he appeared kind.
"Y-Yeah. I-I... I will be in my room if anyone needs me." ArcadeAhri said as she slowly goes to her room.
"Please... don't do that again. Unless you are going to have a bad time." ArcadeSans expresses a cold front as his left eye glows yellow and blue.
TT!Nick seemed unfazed by this.
"So! Who wants to go to TemTale?" TT!Nick asked as if he is a kid.
"I do!" TT!Gaster exclaimed with joy.
He is very impressed by his hero, but concerned. TT!Nick heads outside followed by TT!Gaster. He knows where the AU portal is, thanks to his telepathy.
"He ignored me, didn't he?" ArcadeSans asked as his eye stopped glowing.
"He did. That is a first. No one ever ignores you when you do that." ArcadeJena commented.
"His SOUL did not appear in the fight." ArcadeSans comments as he sat on a green couch.
"It didn't. Is it possible for a human or dragon to not have one?" ArcadeJena questioned sitting next to him.
"No. I think he was hiding it. If he can turn into a dragon, then there is the possibility that he is not human. That said he could be using magic to conceal his SOUL." ArcadeSans answered as he opens a can of soda that is just sitting there on the table.
He did not want to display fear in front of her. He then drank half of it.
"True... We should learn more about TemTale. Hopefully then we can learn more about him." ArcadeJena snatches the soda from ArcadeSans. She drinks the other half.
"Meanie." ArcadeSans grumbles.
"Come on. Let's go to the AU computer. Maybe it has information there." ArcadeJena said as she pulls the lazy skeleton up.
"I'm too bone-tired." ArcadeSans yawned.
"If we do this, then we can play DDR after." ArcadeJena adds chuckling at his pun.
"Fine." ArcadeSans muttered as he followed ArcadeJena to the AU computer.
- ArcadeTale: Hotland -
TT!Nick teleported here with TT!Gaster.
"I am a bit concerned." TT!Gaster brakes the silence. The two are now standing outside of a lab.
"Concerned? About what?" TT!Nick asked. He loudly knocks on the door.
"The only monster that I can think of that is SOUL-less is our Flowey. He can't feel any emotions." TT!Gaster begins. His concern got deeper. If TT!Nick is SOUL-less, then he can kill all of the monsters without remorse. TT!Gaster recalls that TT!Flowey did it because he was forced to.
"The difference between us is that I am not being forced by a green human to kill. At the end of the day, I choose to save because it is the right thing to do. I have the right to live as I please." TT!Nick answered. He did not deny TT!Gaster. He was indeed SOUL-less. TT!Nick's words are somewhat comforting.
"What do you mean by that? How do you know about the green human, Chara?" TT!Gaster questioned hoping for an answer.
Before he got one, ArcadeGaster opened the door. He is shorter than TT!Gaster. He has purple eyes, a slightly broken mask, a black coat, light gray shirt, dark gray pants, and brown and blue shoes. ArcadeGaster also looks younger compared to TT!Gaster. ArcadeGaster pulls TT!Gaster using his left hand that is blue at the center and TT!Nick with his right hand that is red at the center.
"XORTEX! WE HAVE GUESTS!" ArcadeGaster yelled loudly.
He thrusts them inside without a thought. The one called Xortex is busy making coffee. He has sharp horns, short purple hair, five blue eyes with a black pupil, a turquoise coat, a dark turquoise shirt, dark blue jeans, blue gloves, two big purple hands emerging form his back, and brown boots. ArcadeXortex looks at the two with amazement. He has never seen these people before.
"Oh! Hello!" ArcadeXortex said shaking both TT!Nick's and TT!Gaster's hand.
ArcadeXortex noticed the holes in TT!Gaster's hands and his broken face. His face turned grim.
"Who did this to you?" ArcadeXortex questioned a bit enraged. He will harm the person who did this.
"Was it this guy?" ArcadeXortex glared at TT!Nick.
"We came here to fix the AU portal." TT!Nick calmly said to ArcadeGaster.
TT!Nick completely ignored ArcadeXortex. TT!Gaster pulls his hands away. He uses TT!Nick as a human shield.
"I don't like it when someone hurts the boss... even if they are from another AU." ArcadeXortex retorts as he prepared for battle.
TT!Nick finally noticed ArcadeXortex. He pokes ArcadeXortex's nose. It made a "boop" sound.
"Grr! That is it! You are going down!" A big red angry symbol appeares next to ArcadeXortex.
ArcadeGaster prevents ArcadeXortex from ambushing TT!Nick by getting in-between them.
"No! Bad Xortex! Bad! They came here to fix the AU portal." ArcadeGaster scolds.
He tries to calm ArcadeXortex down. Despite treating ArcadeXortex like an amimal, it worked.
"But... he..." ArcadeXortex begins.
"I... I became this way after the accident." TT!Gaster spoke from behind TT!Nick.
"Accident?" ArcadeXortex replied as he raised his eyebrows.
ArcadeGaster and ArcadeXortex listened carefully to what he is about to say. TT!Gaster stood next to TT!Nick. He fidgeted with his fingers.
"About a three months ago in TemTale, Dr. Alphys was helping me. She found a way to make me a skeleton and not goopy. We went outside because the experiment needed solar energy. Then, Temmie ran to the surface. She wanted to go to college so badly, but the king would not let her go. I picked her up out of listening to the king. However, Temmie and I fused once Alphys pulled the switch. We became a freak. They called us Gem EX. Everyone tried to save us. However, with Temmie's rage, it proved to be impossible. As Gem EX, we reinstalled the barrier. After that, I became a part of Temmie. I think that is why I look like this. So young yet broken..." TT!Gaster explained. TT!Nick patted the kid on the head for comfort.
"I see... So it is because of your Temmie that you are like this. When I see her, she is going to have a puzzling time." ArcadeXortex said.
He is weirded out. Temmie, of all monsters, did this?
"Puzzling? Really?" ArcadeGaster gives him a dull look.
"I don't want to steal San's line." ArcadeXortex sheepishly said.
"Either way, how are you going to fix the broken AU portal?" ArcadeGaster questions TTNick.
"Simple, with magic." TT!Nick claims with a smile.
He walks over to where ArcadeGaster hide the machine. TT!Nick spots a mysterious looking black tarp. Underneath the tarp revealed the portal machine. It has a yellow and silver arch over a blue pad. The arch has exposing wires while the pad looks like broken glass. A computer is next to the machine. It should allow the users to move between AUs is broken as well.
"Magic?! Are you crazy? That won't work. I tried it before." ArcadeGaster said as he watched this person pace around the machine. He just relized he hasn't asked what thier names are or what AU they are from.
"Have you tried pie magic?" TT!Nick inquired. He sounds crazy.
TT!Gaster gives a confused look.
"Is he insane?" ArcadeXortex whispers to TT!Gaster.
"I heard that!" TTNick says loudly as he began to fix the machine.
This shocked ArcadeXortex. It made him jump a bit.
"Nick is not crazy! He is my hero. Just you wait! He is going to free us from the underground." TT!Gaster says as yellow diamonds appeared surrounding his face.
ArcadeXortex, ArcadeGaster, and a timid TT!Gaster talk among themselves as they wait for TT!Nick to finish.
"FIXED!" TT!Nick chimes after 15 minutes have passed.
"Already?" ArcadeGaster is surprised and amazed.
The AU portal machine is indeed completely fixed. The pad is no longer broken. The arch is completely unexposed and the computer is functioning.
"I hope you don't mind, but I upgraded the protection spell on this thing. On top of that, I added a recognition software. However, if it was used by someone like... oh I don't know... Error!Sans, Luminous, Descorda, etc., they would try to use it for their own evil plans." TT!Nick announced casually as he turns the machine on. He inputs on the computer their destination to TemTale.
Afterwards, he motioned TT!Gaster to come over. TT!Gaster is star-struck as he walks to the center of the blue pad. TT!Nick tosses a robot chicken to ArcadeXortex. ArcadeXortex barely catches the thing.
"Wait! How do you know about Error and the others!?" ArcadeGaster questioned. ArcadeXortex places the odd chicken down on the ground.
TT!Nick walks over to the center of the blue pad. The pad starts to glow. The arch starts to make a whirling noise. Suddenly, the blue pad opened up. Under their feet, a slate colored portal reveald itself. The duo fall into the swirling portal. TT!Gaster yell as they fell. In a blink of an eye, TT!Nick and TT!Gaster were gone. The pad covers up the portal before powering down.
"... Is is okay for me to think that this Nick is a better scientist than you?" ArcadeXortex asked. He does not want to upset his boss.
"He knew about Error and the others. But how?" ArcadeGaster is trying to wrap his head around what just happened. He did not answer ArcadeXortex's question.
- TemTale: Ruins -
After TT!Flowey gave TT!Kathy the "it's bite or not bite world down here" speech, TT!Kathy has been encountering monsters left and right. TT!Flowey told TT!Kathy to not kill anyone down here. TT!Kathy showed that she had no intentions of killing anyone. In fact, after TT!Flowey left, TT!Kathy kept that in her mind during her battles. She has left every monster she fights in a fainted state. Someone should take them to a Pokemon center or hospital to heal them up. A few puzzles in this Ruins seem to be deactivated. Odd.
TT!Kathy eventually finds a house. It looks neatly kept and is made up of purple bricks. The house has two windows, a large door, a small garden, and a tree with pink leaves. It is a cherry blossom tree that is slowly dying. TT!Kathy is about to knock on the door, when something opens it.
A gray, rectangle robot opened the that door. It has three yellow buttons, three pink dials, white gloves laced what seemed to be gold, gray arms, white gloves, and a gray wheel with a gold center. Its' "face" is a yellow grid with a pink exclamation mark.
"Oh my! A human has fallen down." the robot said. Its' screen then changed to a pink question mark.
"Are you hurt my darling? Is anything broken?" the robot asked.
"No. Have you seen Temmie?" TT!Kathy inquired the odd robot. It sounds male.
"Temmie? Yes. She passed thought here. Oh! Where are my manners? I am Mettaton, head of the Royal Guard. I was a famous singer and dancer. I come here to the Ruins to see if anyone has fallen down. I was about to give up hope, but then-" TT!Mettaton stops suddenly.
His screen then displays a pink heart. He falls backwards dramatically. TT!Kathy, being the concerned person she is, kneels on the ground to get a closer look at TT!Mettaton.
"Are you okay?" TT!Kathy questioned in a worried tone.
She looks at TT!Mettaton's screen. A heart thumps on his screen as she waits for a response.
"Am I in heaven?" he asked.
Is he dying?
"No." TT!Kathy responded quietly. She is not ready to see someone she met just die. TT!Kathy feels like she is going to cry.
"That is too bad, cause I see an angel." TT!Mettaton said putting his left hand on TT!Kathy's cheek.
TT!Kathy's face turns red out of embarrassment. She drops him. She then gets up and leaves him without another word.
"Where are you going my love?" TT!Mettaton inquires using his long hands to get up.
"I am leaving. I have to find Temmie." TT!Kathy tells him as she walks faster.
She can't believe that a robot flirted with her. TT!Kathy thought it was going to die. She goes into TT!Mettaton's house. Ultimately, she discovers a staircase going down.
"Take me with you darling!" TT!Mettaton races after her.
"I am not your darling!" TT!Kathy yelled as she decends. She sounds angry.
"How about sweetheart or honey or baby?" TT!Mettaton questioned. His screen is constantly showing off a pink heart as he follows her.
"Nope. Nope. Nope. None. Leave me alone, please." TT!Kathy's anger gets the better of her.
She is normally a mild person, but this robot is getting on her nerves. The duo reach a long hallway. TT!Kathy is about to take another step.
"I can take you to Temmie, my dear." TT!Mettaton informes her very eager to stay close to TT!Kathy.
She stops in her track. TT!Kathy pauses and gives a heavy sigh.
"Fine! But, I am not your darling or anything. We are only working together to find Temmie, got it?" TT!Kathy glares at the robot.
"Okay, my dear. By the way what is your name?" TT!Mettaton asked.
She huffs in defeat. The two walk the long hallway together side by side in silence for a bit.
"It's Kathy." she replied bitterly.
She just hopes that they find TT!Temmie fast. TT!Kathy begins to wonder if TT!Nick is okay.
