Difference of Kiss
Sara Robard loved all of her friends she'd made at Hogwarts; they were all different and special to her in their own ways. To her the most interesting difference between them was how they kissed.
Rowan, her best friend, had kisses that were clumsy, though that was mostly to her giggling and smiling too much whenever Sara leaned in for one. The dark-haired girl always apologized afterwards saying that she messed up, but; that she would find a book on kissing to get better, though, that hadn't happened yet.
Ben's were nervous, his lips trembled and quivered, Sara thought it felt like kissing a flobberworm. That had made the Gryffindor boy withdrawn and mopey, so, she'd taken him down to Hagrid's hut and made him kiss a flobberworm. From then on Ben's lips didn't tremble, but they did still quiver with anticipation.
Penny kissed like she brewed potions, slow and meticulous. Sara always felt herself growing hot as Penny's lips pressed to hers and enveloped them. She imagined this must be how it feels to kiss a glob of warm honey. The blonde Hufflepuff laughed for almost 5 minutes when her housemate told her this.
Bill Weasley was, to put it lightly, a disappointment to say the least. A peck to Sara's brow followed by his big hand ruffling her long blonde hair. When she huffed, he only smiled and said maybe she'd get one when she was older.
Skye kissed the same way she played Quidditch. Quick pecks to Sara's lips, cheeks, and nose in rapid succession. She shrugged and asked what Sara expected from her, Parkin's were fast at everything.
Orion's kisses felt like a dream, they brushed her lips so soft and gently that she couldn't be sure if they had happened or not. Her captain only nodded and said to look inside for the answer or, to kiss him again if she wasn't sure.
Rath was hard and hurtful, her lips felt like stone as thy slammed into Sara's with all the force of a bludger. The Ravenclaw beater would roll her eyes and allow Sara to kiss her back to make up for each one of hers that left a bruise, which was all of them.
Tulip was different, to say the least, her lips didn't touch Sara's more then they wrapped around hers and sucked them in. when pressed about it, the Ravenclaw smiled and replied with that was how toads kiss.
Ismelda made Sara nervous the first time. The taller girl always had an air of cruelty about her. So when the Slytherin cornered her and leaned in Sara could only shut her eyes and pray to survive. They were soft and gentle like Penny's but; more reserved, like she was holding back. This made Sara grab her by the back of the head and yank her in for another as she pulled away.
Barnaby was too eager, he was sloppy, both literally and figuratively. He slobbered too much whenever he tried to use his tongue, accidentally licking Sara's check instead of getting it into her mouth. if it were anyone else Sara would be annoyed with them, but Barnaby was too likeable.
Merula would groan overdramatically and roll her eyes whenever Sara would attempt to kiss her. But; when the tables were turned, Sara found the Slytherin girl's kisses had a hunger and a need for something as she pull the Hufflepuff into a tight embrace, running her fingers through Sara's hair. When it was over, Merula always seemed to pull away slowly, letting their lips hover just close enough for a soft peck from the brown and orange-haired girl.
Sara Robard loved Hogwarts, and Sara Robard loved her friends.
But; Sara Robard really loved kisses.
