Missing scene to 2x01: In My Time of Dying
This episode absolutely broke me. Sam's reactions to everything, what Dean was going through, the ending with John. Ugh, I swear, this show is gonna be the death of me. So I know it's tiny, but I hope ya'll enjoy this little missing scene.
Sam refused to go to sleep. The doctors and nurses tried to get him to lay down and rest but only two thoughts were raging in his head.

He shoved past the doctors and nurses and started down the halls of the hospital, looking for them both. Finally, he saw Dean. He was in the surgery room; doctor and nurses crowded around him. Sam's whole body ached, but it all intensified as he watched Dean, broken and bloody, laying pale on the table. He was so still, and his face was so . . . empty. So unlike Dean. That face always held a grin or unsaid joke, or sometimes anger or worry or sadness, but never had it looked that plain. That empty. That . . . dead.
Sam stood outside that room for an hour until they finally moved Dean into a normal room, where he was then hooked up to monitors, an IV, and breathing tubes. He looked so small. Frail. Not like Dean at all.
Sam would've sat there forever, but he had to go find Dad. "I'll be back in just a minute," he muttered. The doctor had mentioned that Dean could possibly hear the things around him; Sam certainly hoped that was true.
