Renegade Runaways :: Chapter Thirty One
Bo felt like his heart was about to explode. His body felt nothing but bliss. He twirled his wife around the Great Room of the Oak Alley Mansion. He would never call her anything else. She would always be his wife to him, but having legal claim to his words made his heart soar.
"May I?"
Bo felt Doug tap his shoulder. He smiled at his father-in-law. Deep down, he wanted to be selfish. He wanted to never let Doug's little girl go. He had so much time to make up for. His eyes met Hope's. He didn't know why her beauty took his breath away on this night. She was always beautiful to him. He kissed her, "Of course…"
He stepped aside and watched Doug whisk Hope away. He sighed contently.
"Daddy!" Ciara skipped towards him, "Dance with me!"
Bo beamed at his little girl, "My pleasure!"
Hope watched her husband and daughter over her father's shoulder. She smiled. It warmed her heart to see them together again. Ciara was so happy when she laid eyes on Bo. She wanted nothing more than for their relationship to be as special as the one she had with her own father.
"You look so happy," Doug smiled at her, "It makes me happy."
Hope kissed his cheek, "I'm very happy… and I'm so happy you and Julie could make it."
Her eyes drifted to where Julie stood catching up with Maggie. There were so many faces she loved in the room, and they all looked like they were having a good time. Her heart swelled a little more when she caught a glimpse of John and Marlena dancing, while Kayla and Steve flirted in the corner. It was as if all was almost right in the world. All they had to do was make it home to Salem.
When the song came to an end, Hope hugged her father.
"Should we get a drink?" Doug asked as he surveyed his princess.
"Yes!" Hope agreed. The dancing was wearing her out, "I'm dying of thirst."
They made their way to the refreshment table, but Hope was intercepted by Bo.
"We should blow this joint," Bo proposed as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.
Hope looked around, "But it's so beautiful. Everyone is having so much fun."
Bo frowned at her protest. He was feeling impatient. He wanted her all to himself. He leaned into her ear, "But we could have our own fun. They can have fun here without us."
"Mr. Brady," Hope sighed as she turned in his arms and eyed him seductively, "We have all night for that kind of fun."
Bo pressed his groin into her's and gently bit her earlobe, "And I want every last second of it to ourselves."
A hot shot of arousal traveled from Hope's ear to her pelvis. She swallowed a gulp as she attempted to recover from the residual tingle left in her spine, "Soon."
It was all she could manage. She turned away from him looking for a distraction.
Bo groaned, "You're killing me FancyFace."
She smiled over her shoulder at him. She couldn't deny how incredibly sexy he looked in his tuxedo. She always wanted him, but tonight, she wanted him bad. She forced her feet to walk towards their guests. She wanted to cherish every second of their presence. After everything they'd been through in the last couple of months, she knew they were all lucky to be alive.
Several hours later as the clock struck midnight, Hope felt like she was living in a fairytale. She walked hand in hand with her husband across a confetti filled floor. Their guests were long gone. The lights were dim. The mansion was quiet.
"How did you do this?" Hope questioned. She glanced around the room. Nostalgia filled her.
"It's my little secret," Bo raised his eyebrows and pulled her close to his chest.
"Full of secrets tonight," Hope teased, "Is that any way to restart our marriage?"
Bo laughed, "It is when they all benefit you. I'm only out to please you my love."
Hope laughed out loud, "Is that so?"
"Mmmhmm," Bo nodded and kissed her. He'd been waiting all night to kiss her the way he wanted to. There were no more eyes to hide from. He was eager to have her. He scooped her up and carried her up the stairs. She tucked her head into the crook of his neck and let herself be held. Her strong husband had a knack for making her swoon.
When he reached the bedroom, Hope was pleasantly surprised to find it romantically decorated. However, she didn't care. She only had one thing on her mind. Him. She reached for Bo, pulling him back into a hungry kiss.
He slowly undid the zipper on her dress, as she made a trail of wet kisses down his neck. She furthered her exploration across his chest as she unbuttoned his shirt. Bo had been with her too many times to count. He knew what was underneath her dress, but that didn't halt the excitement that bubbled inside of him. Being with her, was never something he took for granted.
Hope stopped her trail of kisses. He stood shirtless before her. Her eyes scanned his body. Scars reminded her of where he'd been and what he'd been through. She gazed lovingly into his eyes. She was so thankful to have him in her arms. He was her husband. It was over. They were safe. She exhaled slowly, and fought off tears of joy. She smiled at him.
"Everything okay?" Bo questioned. He caressed her cheek with the back of his fingers.
Hope nodded, "I'm just so happy."
Bo smiled back at her. He kissed her again, "Me too."
No more words were needed. They began the familiar dance of undressing each other. Arousal filled them as clothing dropped to the floor. Their kissing intensified as they got closer and closer to making love. The build up was slow, but their urgency could be felt with each kiss and each touch.
Bo glided effortlessly inside of her. Gasps of pleasure filled the quiet room. They each felt unstoppable. A sense of invincibility filled them as Hope's pelvis met his, thrust for thrust. It was them against the world once again. They were reunited as husband and wife. All of their mistakes were forgotten. Her hot breath against his skin made him want to scream from the roof tops. He could do this all night. And they did.
In the privacy of a quiet room at Oak Alley, Bo and Hope began again.
