One may argue that Anto is not the most fortunate of people.
"Look out!"
Things tend to get out of his control more than he would imagine—correction, more than a good amount of people could imagine.
BOOM!
"Use Stealth Rocks and Flash, go!"
Though as always, in times of chaos…
"Do not let him anywhere near the barrier!"
"You heard him guys, head towards the barrier!"
It suddenly becomes very hard to stop a young teen with a quirky group of Pokémon.
"Um does anyone have any remote idea why we're all suddenly dropped right in front of Dimension—Hup!—Enterprise!?" Lily spoke before firing an Energy Ball right for a Mega Beedrill that simply dodged the move and made an attempt to pierce her through if not for the fact Kryx oh so kindly slammed him to the ground with telekinetic energy and a few large boulders.
"Basically—Ohko, your right—Your other right—For the love of Arceus, it's the side where your AARRRMMM iisssk GAK! Z-Zeed did this somehow!" In that sentence alone Anto had dodged and evaded approximately ten attacks meant to maim or even kill him if not for the stalwart teamwork and defense of his Pokémon.
"My question pertains—HA!" Takezo side stepped the Mega Medicham, threw his blade at the Mega Blaziken's head, and then spun back to push Mega Mega Medicham in front of the path to a rampaging Mega Arggon trying to get to Super Nut in one fluid motion. "As to why the tower we destroyed is suddenly reforming it-self! Hup! With powers, I am sure are beyond comprehension!"
"Well I'm willing to be—Lily launch me!—willing to bet that's where Black and N are! Sentinel, open a path!"
Sentinel appeared into the sky, gathering a lot of energy before unleashing a torrent of elemental power towards the large assortment of powerful mega Pokémon. Unfortunately despite how powerful the attack was, there were more than enough supporting mega Pokémon to counter the blast on their own.
As it stood, Anto was out manned and out gunned almost three to one. Thankfully the purpose of this fight wasn't to win—Arceus knows that was nigh impossible even for his Pokémon. It was simply to get past them and into the barri…er… hold on a second.
"Kryx, can you teleport us right behind them?"
The little alien warped out of the way of a stream of thunder aimed at her before she blinked back into existence at the very same spot. "No, oh and behind you!" She pointed as Ohko performed a flying kick with great form onto the face of a Mega Cacturne.
"Of course—"
Then suddenly, Anto's world felt only pain. He was for one second looking ahead when the vision before him suddenly shifted to the sky—then ground—then back to sky—it took a millisecond to realize he was flipping like a ragdoll, and another second later his brain registered immense pain.
When the world stopped spinning, Anto tried to push himself up. His ears caught some kind of white noise that sounded like a warning. He barely felt something wrap around his waist and yank him away from what he barely recognized as an explosion.
"Uggghhhh! Whhhaattt hhiittt meeee?" The young boy felt his cheek go numb even though he was sure his own hand was on it.
"I-I'm sorry! He somehow got passed me and went straight for you!" Super Nut seemed awfully surprised after blurting out an apology.
Somehow, the green Dragonite had by passed both Super Nut and Lily only to somehow… teleport past them and smack Anto a good distance back from him reaching the barrier.
All of his partners regrouped, prompting everyone from the side of the Enterprise to do the same.
"For everyone's sake, it's best if you surrender right this very instant, Subject 5." The hulking giant of a man solemnly declared.
Anto's mind raced as memories came back up with Wes' warning of the green Dragonite. It had some kind of… some instant attack that drove his better battle oriented friends to a corner—and that was when his enemy was out numbered! Still, he stood back up and found himself wiping blood off his cheek. Sure Lily was soothing the pain, but heck if it still didn't hurt!
"To be fair that is kind of you to offer considering that not only am I out gunned but outnumbered." Anto stood back up, his eyes scanning over everything in front of him.
The warriors from Dimension Enterprise were tempted to stop and wipe their eyes when they saw the boy take a step towards them before they remembered the child makes a habit of facing down overwhelming odds.
"But there is also the fact that barrier you're preventing me from going through? Well some inglorious dastards have just kicked me while I was down and stole two of my close friends from right in front of me while I could do nothing but watch. So unless you're all willing to let me go in what is obviously a trap and do my bloody best to save my own friends, it seems we have an impasse."
Sied narrowed his eyes as he started to talk. However, the deeper corners of his mind started to have a bad feeling at the thoughts and words that were slowly forming and coming out. "You just admitted you were out gunned and out manned, what makes you think we won't stop you?"
Anto's response was almost instant, but the young boy closed his eyes almost as if he was in a meditative state."Had this happened to me any day before yesterday, I would have done all that I could to escape from all of you… I would have been thinking about every conceivable trick I could to escape because I couldn't have imagined taking on all of you alone."
His simple brown eyes snapped open with a glare that could make Giratina and Darkrai flinch. "But then I became Champion of Unova—I came to win the title of Strongest Trainer when I wasn't even interested in it!"
"Ooooohhhhh no! It goes beyond that!" Anto's defiant eyes only flared as he continued his speech. "The Title of Champion is something almost everyone dreams off! And the TWO people who wanted to be Champion of Unova more than I could ever hope to dream are the two under the thumb of whatever ancient psychos that are currently screwing whatever laws of physics that were supposed to be defined and iron clad! So if you think I'm going to besmirch their dreams, their very beings by running away while holding that title of Champion, you are nothing short of being horribly brain damaged."
He clenched his fist, pounded his chest hard before punching the air in front of him and in front of his enemies.
"Because I will take you on and win to protect their ideals, to protect their truth, and to protect their lives!"
It wasn't just the bad guys, Anto's own Pokémon were staring at him with shock after such a strong demand.
"What brought this on?" Takezo seemed genuinely surprised at his rather… proud nature coming from the rather mild mannered and simple boy.
Anto shrugged his shoulders. "I didn't really have time during the fight, but the more I thought about it… both Black and N… they had a lot of reasons for aiming to be Champion. And then I started thinking about everyone else that really wanted this title that I somehow achieved. They must have put their blood, sweat, and tears to even get close to where I am right now… and… I feel unworthy of this title," The young boy shook his head and sighed deeply. "But I owe it to all those who dream for this title that I have to be a truly strong trainer to honor all of their hard work."
Super Nut slammed his clamps to the ground. "Well said Danger Damoiseau! With Great Heroism comes Great Duty!" He shouted out an eerily familiar but not fully correct quote. "With our combined heroism, we shall overcome these odds!"
"Ooohhh math odds! I do so love those! It's just like that one time I tried to guess the odds of meteors falling on my fellow cast members!" Kryx excitedly said as she seemingly pulled alien goggles out of her hammer space and placed it on with blinking lights. "And they laughed at me when they said the comets wouldn't hit them, so I went and directly changed 236 meteors' courses to prove them wrong!"
"I think she's trying to say the odds are Tarous Crap and we should make our own? But yeah, I'm going with that except the part where she kind of forced meteors to crash on her friends." Lily started setting up a Quiver Dance as she prepared her Choice Specs.
Sentinel unleashed a hollow, bone chilling roar. "Oh please! If they so much as to try and touch one of you, I'm pulling an Ohko!"
"Yo hey that's my name!" Ohko slipped the Choice Band on to his forehead. "But the Boss was always the smart one! We just gotta kick your butts all over da place!"
"I don't believe he said your name in… ah I don't know myself." Takezo shook his head and placed on his Choice Scarf. "Still, I do believe it is time for us to start fighting."
"Did we just…" Warden gasped. "Were his Pokémon setting up the entire time that kid was having that spiel!?"
They all got their response from the boy in the form of a slow forming smile followed by a quick wink … before all six of his Pokémon and the boy teleported away.
"Where is he!?" Sied roared as the four humans and all their Pokémon looked around before Inquisitor's Mega Flygon picked up a sound coming from above them.
Anto and his Pokémon warped a few feet above them and were making a free fall towards the barrier.
He was gambling on the fact that the barrier would still let him through even if he was reaching maximum velocity.
"WHY IS THIS HOST INSANE!? IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A YEAR!"
Again, with inhuman speed and without a trace of those blips that normal teleportation use, the green Dragonite was in front of Anto again and proceeded to punch him—only for his fist to go through an image of light that retuned back into Kryx's goggles.
"Behold my genius! I called them the Disco Gogglesᵀᴹ!" Kryx somehow shouted out a trademark as her device beeped and seemingly deactivated something. The mad inventor seemed to have created a hologram of her trainer, but then where was the boy!?
A shadow was cast over the green dragon prompted him to look right into—Anto smashing both his feet into the face of a fully evolved dragon falling at terminal velocity.
The sheer weight of a teenager hitting a fully evolved Pokémon in the face with his own mass and volume shocked most of Dimension Enterprise. To their credit, it only gave them pause for less than a quarter of a second before they flew after the boy like hounds straight from hell itself.
"Phantom Force!" Everyone made a grab towards Delta Charizard as he made his friends vanish in an instant into the dark dimension.
Even in the cold dimension, the force field was still there. Anto thought that if they could not teleport through the field, then perhaps they could sneak into their through Zentinel's power. They were about to touch the barrier even with some of the Enterprise's agents trying to follow him. Their enemies were not moving fast enough.
-Haha! And remember this as the day you almost caught Anto, The Champion of Unooooffffark!?-
Aaaannnndddd that was the first and last time the amnesiac decided to taunt pre-victory. You see, while the barrier still existed in the Phantom Force dimension, there was this odd fact that the moment the boy touched the barrier, it rejected him and his Pokémon out of the attack and back on the ground.
"Wh-What happened?" Anto shook his head and got back up, only to vaguely hear laughter and a message along the lines of 'someone not letting you go in that easily because where was the fun in that'?
"I loathe you, Zeed."
+Kid, you are literally the best entertainment I've had in eternity. I'm milking you for whatever your worth!+
Knoll fought the urge to face palm with the strength of a hundred angsty teens. Great, just bloody brilliant! If it wasn't for the stupid fact that the Enterprise agents were viciously attacking him again, he would have screamed out in silence… because he was still mute.
Oh wait; they were attacking him with large scale area of effect attacks with enough fire power to decimate a small suburban area—oh cripes! Move! Move! BWOAHSNAP!?
KABOOM!
"Ow! What happened?" Sentinel rubbed his head after making sure the others had all safely gotten away.
"I don't want to talk about it." Aaannnnddd now they were back to square one with Dimension Enterprise blocking their way through the barrier for another time.
With how crossed they all seemed, especially the Dragonite with the sneaker-shaped bruise on its face, which surprisingly did nothing to stop how it's glare could kill even Arceus with a look, Anto doubted he could try that a second time.
"Didn't you just start a speech about honoring the title of Champion!?" Seid raised his brow despite keeping his glare.
In response to that, the boy shrugged his shoulders. "I just have to win, they say nothing in how to! Trickery and Deceit just so happens to be our specialty that other champs wish they could use!" Anto shouted back. "Unfortunately for me, demons plot against me for their own entertainment." The young boy could feel Zeed smirking smugly at the back of his mind. What the heck were his guardians doing?!
Sied's eyes (and Anto was assuming the other agent's eyes were doing the same if it weren't for their masks) visibly widened. "The ancient demon… you… can talk to him?"
"Sir it must be a trick! Remember! All the previous hosts had their personalities overwritten by the Seed!" The female agent cried out.
Anto blinked before something registered in his mind. "Wait a sec… you guys are the secret order that tried to keep Zeed away from his body?" In hindsight, it was blatantly obvious. The mute just didn't have enough time to put that together with recent events."I don't suppose you'll believe me when I say that this guy doesn't have a control over me, and that you should just let me pass?"
Warden scoffed at the young boy. "I knew you were crazy, but stupid? Like we'll believe a word you say just so you can get back into that tower and get your body back!"
Anto's eyes snapped open before he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Of course his body is here… And that means they took the legends of Unova… to undo the flipping seal."
"Correct, and without you, their god will not be reviving this, nor any other dam moment till the end of time!" Sied cried out as Dragonite rushed ahead for the group of seven.
"Flamethrower!"
Until a strong burst of blue fire came in between the two opposing parties and forced the Dragonite to look back up to the skies above.
There was a young man with black hair wearing mostly black clothes with exception to a blue fluffy scarf that was riding a Mega Charizard X that slowly descended into the ground nearby Anto along with a Metagross, a male Unfezant, a Bisharp, a Tyranitar that came crashing near them, and a Weavile.
"Who are…"
"My name is Alain." The young man stated directly before looking to Anto. "I have been tasked with looking for you."
Anto raised his brow before the black haired boy continued. "I was going to try and meet you while you were still in the League, but you coming here works out just as well." Then he turned back towards the others with a vicious glare. "You four are the reason why I'm here. I want to know how you are able to artificially make all those Pokémon Mega Evolve without any semblance of a Key Stone. And I want you to drop all your future endeavors involving research on Mega Evolution."
"And why should we be listenin' to you?" Majus asked with wonder as he started to prime his gauntlet.
It seemed like an invisible memo had been read by everyone because now it was Alain who was doing his impression of a death glare. "I'm actually wishing you don't because I'm here to prevent you monsters from perverting the research of a man I deeply respect. And I would very much enjoy doing it in a—shall we say—stress-relieving manner."
Despite the rumbling behind us, Sied stepped forward, priming what looked to be two gauntlets that shot out this insanely large energy broad sword that he swung over his shoulder. "Alain was it? I have grown tired of this charade, step aside now. Because we have business with that boy and it is possible for us to talk about whatever you wish for afterward."
"I'm going to go with my gut instinct…" Alain blinked as he saw the energy blade. It gave him the idea that he probably stepped into something that went deeper than it was on the surface. He then looked to Anto. "And say no. Out numbering someone three to one doesn't sit well at all with me."
Sied's eyes dangerously narrowed as he stepped forward. It clearly looked like he was in no mood to do his best to settle things diplomatically. "Then do excuse and not take it personally on us for beating you and your partners within an inch of your life." That was all it took for the Green Dragonite to lead the charge once more, but this time Mega Charizard X when to meet the other dragon type head on with powerful looking Dragon Claws—only for the fire dragon to swipe at air and get hammered into the ground by the green dragon with one punch.
"Wha—"
"He's got this weird teleporting technique! Hurry up and get your Pokémon moving!"
Alian's eyes snapped back to the boy whose voice seemingly was in his head. "Was that telepath—"
Anto jumped and shoved Alain out of the way of a Shadow Ball from a Mega Banette. "I said move dang it!"
Instead of wildly dodging and moving around, Anto-and now Alian's Pokémon were actually able to put a sizeable defense. The young mute had the idea to tell his Pokémon to defend and support Alain's party to get them into the thick of things.
Super Nut and Alain's Unfeazant were up in the air, dealing with a majority of the airborne Megas due to the Ferrothorn's critical ability to greatly hamper the air space and maneuverability of most flying Pokémon with floating rocks that unleash binding seeds of one was foolish enough to brake them.
Tyranitar clashed with a Mega Arrgon. The two powerhouses clashed before the Mega Pokémon was slowly pushing back the rock type. That was until a certain one armed fighting type threw an Espeon—that quickly turned back into Mega Eevee right into the steel type, distracting it, and giving the rock type the opportunity to throw the other titan off balance. To return the favor, the rock type fired a Hyper Beam towards Mega Blaziken unleashing a powerful torrent of kicks on the fighting type who was simply standing there and taking it. The beam promptly blindsided the fire and fighting dual type before Ohko glowed, slid in front of Tyranitar and punched a Mega Cacturne before the creepy grass type could unleash a Needle Arm on the rock type with all of his stored energy from a unique Fusion move of Reversal and Counter. The two power houses smiled at each other before they were swarmed again by other megas.
Lily had simply thrown one Magic Leaf at supersonic speeds to shatter the Mega Banette's Magic Coat. She had heard of that Pokémon trying to create a disco ball that shot out Hypno beams to others around her and she would not let something like that happen. She wasn't paying attention to Mega Gengar slipping past her and trying to attack her from her shadow—only to get kicked away by Alain's Weavile. The two locked eyed and nodded they both spotted the ghost types fading away into the shade.
Mega Medicham overwhelmed Alain's Bisharp to the point where all four of his levitating fists coiled around the dark and steel types limbs. As the Mega prepared his fist, something crashed down behind him, and the fighting type looked back to see Mega Pinsir pinned to the ground and Takezo picking up his wooden blade and pointing it right towards him.
"Remember me?"
Mega Medicham visibly scowled as he threw away his opponent. The memory of dark energy rending his entire being was scared into his mind and body ever since that day on the bridge. He was very, very much looking forward to a rematch again.
Kryx and Metagross were given the duty of watching over Alain and Anto mostly due to the fact that the flipping agents were firing live rounds at them that the two psychic types had to protect both their trainers for.
Behind a psychic barrier, Alain had a hard time watching over everything surrounding them. "Well this is different from the usual one on one battles…"
"Huh, now that I think about it, I do have a lot of experience with full party battles." He then pushed Alain out of the way as an energy sword was brought down on the area the two boys were standing mere seconds ago.
The two boys looked towards Sied charging at them with speed someone his size and weight should not be able to run.
His fist started glowing and then a mechanical fist blurted out the words, Mega Punch. Anto quickly tried to get his new ally up and make them both run away as Seid slammed his hands into the ground and caused a small tremor that caused the two boys to trip as they ran.
"Th-They can use Pokémon moves?!" Alain seemingly was starting to see how bad this situation really was considering the fact it wasn't just Pokémon, the trainers themselves seemed to be in danger.
"Yeah they've got gauntlets that allows them to copy Pokémon moves. It's super annoying— " Hold on one blasted second. Those gauntlets could perform any Pokémon move? Anto's eyes snapped open as an idea came to his mind that would take a lot to pull off. However, there was still that odd Dragonite flying around. If he could just figure out how that Dragonite was attacking them, then maybe he could pull this potentially crazy plan off. The other reason why his eyes snapped open was that he saw the other agents along with their CEO rushing for them while all their Pokémon were fighting.
Blast it all! He would just have to risk it!
"Kryx! I give you permission to do that thing you did back at Driftveil on our first night I caught you!"
The little alien blinked behind her cool new goggles. "Huh?" Anto then linked to her more details into her mind. "Okay. Sorry, for these next few minutes." She looked down to Metagross, who seemed to be blinking at the alien as she pulled out a strange spherical orb from her hammer space then promptly threw it to ground.
Something happened as she did this. The spherical device exploded, but not with kinetic energy or gunpowder. In fact, what came out of the device was a strange pulse of energy that caused Metagross to fall into its knees.
The pulse didn't just hit Metagross. The agents saw their gauntlets suddenly spark to life and then suddenly die out in the middle of the preparing to use a move on the two fallen boys.
"That was an EMP!? You had an EMP!?" Warden shouted then frantically started to press buttons on the unresponsive machine.
Alain was too stupefied to notice Anto dragging him along again and ordering Kryx to teleport them closer to the field.
Unfortunately, even that trick was thwarted by the most unlikely of Pokémon: Mega Charizard X and Sentinel.
Those two fully evolved Pokémon where thrown into the ground between the two boys and the barrier which forced them to look back up and remember who exactly their opponent was.
Those two evolved Charizards were supposed to take on the leader's Dragonite. Unfortunately it seemed that the green Dragonite could overpower those two powerhouses.
Alian's eyes snapped in shock. Mega Charizard had fought on equal grounds with some of the toughest mega Pokémon he's ever fought! How was a normal Dragonite not only overpowering him, but how was there not a single scratch on the pseudo legendary except the black eye Anto gave him!?
Despite these impossible thoughts, their enemy rushed for them with the speed of a lesser god. In the last second, Takezo slid in, jumped towards the opposing Pokémon, and performed Hypno Eyes on the dragon type, instantly putting him to sleep mid attack.
The body continued its momentum as Takezo ran across the falling arm to kick off the Dragonite and make him crash into the grou—
Takezo's eyes widened. He was so sure he didn't blink, yet somehow Dragonite vanished in front of him again and despite how fast his mind was moving, he noticed a shadow behind him too latCRACK!
Dragonite unleashed a heavy bone crunching punch on the light weight Pokémon as it flew like a baseball. Kryx acted quickly and stopped Takezo's momentum from crashing into the ground before she teleported Alain, Mega Charizard X, Sentinel, and Anto to where Takezo was frozen before the Dragonite could go after them next.
"How!? I saw that was a Hypnosis! How did he get from asleep to suddenly awake!?" Alain couldn't for the life of him understand how that impossibility just occurred in front of him.
Anto on the other hand, was far more silent only on the outside. His mind thought for sure that move would make Dragonite… huh? Was Dragonite wiping dirt off his face? But he didn't even touch the ground before he teleported…
The boy quickly looked at the area where Dragonite would have fallen and right at the spot, there was dust that looked liked it had slid a small distance. Yet… he didn't see Dragonite fall so how did…
Wait a second. All of Dimension Enterprise had six Pokémon each. Even if Sied has a super powerful Pokémon, why does he only have one? Unless, his other Pokémon are hidden, making it look like his Dragonite is invincible! "Kryx! Scan their leader! Now!"
The small extraterrestrial's goggles started beeping frantically after she did what her trainer asked of her. "Huh that's weird. I'm getting like four other life signals from him."
Anto turned and threw his hand out towards a wide eyed CEO. "That's all I needed to hear! Lily, Magic Bullet!"
At this very moment, Lily had just skated across a frozen area due to Weavile's attack, launched herself into the air, and fired one leaf with all the energy and power of an entire attack condensed into one. It flew across the battle field, passing by through a majority of other combatants and attacks and near blurring bolt right for its target. Then—another blur shot out—four of them.
Out of thin air, four strange looking Pokémon created a force field around the gigantic man. The shockwave expelled on the shield and the force of the impact went around the bubble after impact.
Everyone but Anto had their eyes widen in shock at the four Pokémon that were now currently floating above the air.
He couldn't help but smirk at this new revelation… and the fact that this also gave him a new idea.
"Unknown T; Unknown I; Unknown M; and Unknown E." Anto solemnly stated as the four black, alphabet-shaped creatures with one eye revealed themselves. "I'll be a Primeape's Uncle, you actually have the power to stop time."
All the other agents and Sied just stared at Anto in utter shock. The young boy looked to Alain and pointed a finger up to try and prove a point. "I mean, they spell out time so it's pretty obvious. Second, that explains why even though no matter how much we keep our eye on President Seid's Dragonite, somehow he still bypasses us. Third, Takezo was able to land hit," The young boy motioned to the dirt spot where there was a large indication something landed there when no one had touched that area yet. "It's just that you made sure we didn't see us."
Anto's smile actually grew as he pointed to Sied. "And last but certainly not least! There's a limit!"
To Sied's credit, he made no motion to the claim. However, his agents all winced and while silent, said all they needed to say.
"If you could control time, you would have caught me instantly. I'm guessing that you can only stop time for five or four seconds." A smirk appeared on Anto's face. "And considering how I scarred your Dragonite, there's a recharge time."
Sied gritted his teeth—his eyes snapped open when he noticed the lack of floating psychic type nearby the two boys. "Spawn of Giratina—he's distracting us again!"
Suddenly, all of the move gauntlets of the agents rebooted at the same time. All of them were excited and hastily pointed their weapons back at the mute.
"Move recognized: Self Destruct in T-minus 8… 7…"
All four of them looked in shock at their gauntlets. None of them pressed in that move!
"HA!" Everyone looked up to see Kryx with her 3DS floating right next to a better looking Takezo. "Ya just got hacked sukahs!"
"Why you!" Warden did not hesitate in removing his self destructing gauntlet and threw it at the small psychic type with a deep desire that the flying object would hit his target before exploding violently. His colleagues did the same since the only action left was to let their gauntlets explode right in front of them.
No one noticed Anto smirking as they all did this.
Kryx telekinetically froze all the gauntlets and then quickly deactivated the self destruct sequence. All the gauntlets started cycling for a specific move Anto had linked to Kryx to find.
"He tricked us again!?" Sied cried out before he commanded his team to have his Dragonite stop them.
Before he could issue that order, Anto turned to Alain with a lot of urgency. "Hit the ground!" He made such a big deal out of this that he tackled him down as he told him this.
Kryx's made her move, or rather, that was when Kryx made all four gauntlets unleash the Pokémon move, Gravity.
Now, by itself. The move increases gravity heavily in an area to the point even flying and levitating Pokémon have trouble floating up. Yet… there were now four gauntlets priming multiplying the effect of gravity four times the amount the move would normally do.
As such, every single person, even the Unknown and Dragonite, were slammed into the ground as if each and every person was being crushed under the weight of a monster truck.
Everyone except Kryx, who seemed to be unaffected by the change in gravity. "Ha! Torantu-Zeta has stronger gravity than this! I can use my telekinesis to adjust myself accordingly!"
"Kryx! Do it now!" Anto linked through the crushing pain.
"Roger-Roger!" Kryx took two of the gauntlets and had one fire multiple Magic Coats to scatter around the area then she took the second one to fire…
"Machine! Fire, Hypnosis!" The agent's eyes widened in fear as they realized that the little alien was performing the same move Majus did to the others back at Nimbasa City!
Only this time, no one could make a move as all the beams were reflected and calculated to hit every enemy and none of the allies!
Soon, very soon, each of the Agents, even all their Pokémon… were all deep asleep. Kryx let go of the gravity move and Anto and Alain were quick to organize themselves and round up their sleeping enemies.
"You… you turned their weapons against them." Alain finally turned to Anto as Kryx made sure to set the gauntlets to be continuously pouring Sleep Powder on their attackers.
"I learned that sometimes advantages can be turned against others. Though, I'm glad Kryx was able to hack into their machinery despite all the chaos." The young boy admitted before turning his gaze towards the tower.
"Do you know what's going on up there?"
"That… is a really long story. But thanks a lot Alain, I wouldn't have been able to get through these guys without your help."
"I still have a lot of questions to all of this."
"Unfortunately this is not the time for me to answer any of them, but I will get to you back later…" Anto looked over to his Pokémon and Kryx. "Kryx, take one of those gauntlets for me. I have a feeling they're going to be helpful in the future."
"Good thinking sir!" Kryx saluted as she tossed Inquisitor's gauntlet towards him for the boy to catch and attach to his right arm.
The young boy checked the device with a smirk until a thought in his mind caused him to frown. "Out of the frying pan…" He looked back up at the Dragon Spire Tower. "And into the volcano."
Anto steeled himself before he and the rest of his Pokémon jumped into the barrier. They all checked themselves to see if anything would happen to them and after a few seconds, the young boy turned back to Alain.
"You'll watch over those guys right?"
Alain nodded. "Whatever's going on though, I can tell something big is going to happen. Good luck… Champion of Unova."
Anto appreciated it before he led his Pokémon towards the newly made tower. Still, he bet Champions didn't have to deal with the advent of a resurrecting old demon on their first official day as Champion.
+I prefer eternal, kid.+
The brown haired boy gritted his teeth and gave a mute growl. It seemed like his Pokémon couldn't hear the other voice in his head. "As much as I don't want to talk with you right now, there's something we need to address. If your body does come back, how are you going to get to it?"
+It sounds like you're not really stopping me from getting back into my body.+
"I paid attention to the story you told even though I was in the back of your mind. Despite what Dimension Enterprise said, I don't think of you as evil, just powerful. I think it would be best for everyone if you found a non lethal way of jumping into your body and never coming back here."
+And what if I want revenge on the world that has given me nothing but trouble? What if I want it to burn for causing me so much grief?+
Well cripes. Anto did not think that through, but then again didn't he just say something just a few minutes ago? "Then where's the fun in that? I thought you enjoyed people like me that struggled in situations like that? If you destroy this world… well I doubt you can get entertainment like you have right now… right?"
+…+
Unfortunately that conversation was put on hold as the party walked through a gateway that opened up for them. It was at this point that Anto and the others slowed down.
"Alright guys, on our way up, look out for anything suspi…AWW COME ON!?" Anto stomped his foot on the ground.
In all fairness, his reaction was probably best in comparison to everyone else who just stared in awe at what was in front of them.
The large room which was supposed to be submerged in water had drained completely of the see through liquid. Instead, at the middle of the room was a giant, dark, swirling portal that just kept expanding and expanding.
"Alas! Before us stands a cosmic portal to the unknown!" Super Nut pointed dramatically towards the vortex. "Our apprehended allies must be kept in there!"
The seven all slowly looked towards the edge of the vortex, the young amnesiac turned towards their resident scientist. "So Kryx? Any science ideas about this? By any chance are they on the top instead of this tower instead of the vortex? Please say yes."
"Actually, I'm not detecting anything above us besides some odd fluctuating energy reading, but below? … Uhh my instruments are going wild." She said this as her 3DS spontaneously combusted and then she tossed it into the vortex. Everyone watched it just fall and fall and fall and fall…
"Yoooo that's pretty deep." Ohko leaned in forward.
"So… are we jumping in?" Lily looked back towards Anto for an answer even though it was looking far more obvious with each second passing.
The young boy rubbed his temple and exhaled with worry. "We probably will have to. Alright everyone… on the count of three, we jump into the vortex."
"One."
"Two."
"Three!"

They few who had the ability to be airborne among Anto's party had their bodies instinctively pull everyone into safety as they finally landed.
"Uaagghuuuahh s-sound che—rollcall? D-did we l-lose anyone?"
"I feel as if something ripped my mind asunder…"
"That was like the most gnarly ride, boss, can we not like do that again?"
"I feel nauseous! If I had a mouth and a stomach, I might be barfing right now."
"I-think I might! RRUUFF!"
"F-Facinating! You seem to be upchucking even though you don't have a stomach as well! I shall conduct research as soon as my mind rebootKKRS! …ZZZZZzzzzz…"
"S-Super Nut! S-Super Nut's greatest weakness is mashed potatoes!"
Anto rubbed his eyes before he slowly he regained his sight. Though as he did, he briefly had to wonder if he had gone insane.
Well… more than usual anyway.
For as far as the eye could see, there was nothing but pitch black nothingness. Beneath them? They were literally standing on some kind of glowing, red, giant, and unrecognizable symbol that looked like two jagged (H)s merged together with and diamond eye place in the center.
Above them were pillars; pillars that were scattered like stalactites, all of varying sizes and all flickering with red glowing rings.
And then there were the chains, despite the un-ending nothingness and the bizarre upside-down pillars, chains filled the area that seemingly stretched everywhere with no beginning and no ending in sight.
"W-Where are we?"
"This is the seal."
All seven turned around in surprise, before they saw what looked to be Anto without wearing his Battle AR or wearing the gauntlet on his right wrist.
Takezo narrowed his eyes. "Zeed!" A few seconds later, all of Anto's partners moved in to protect their trainer.
"Your bond must be strong if you so quickly moved to protect your real trainer instead of questioning the fact there were two of us." Zeed dismissed. "But like I said, this is… the seal where my original body is being held."
Anto blinked. "You were sealed… here?"
The other Anthony just shrugged. "Well, yes and no. You see, the seal was rather simple when it first locked me deep beneath the tower. It's just that while it was designed to seal my body away… my power affected it differently. Long story short, the seal mutated because it was influenced by my power. It evolved into what you see now." The fake made a show of the place around him. "Oh and I seem to be able to project myself in front of all of you, so there's that."
"… As always, you suck at exposition."
"In my defense, I've only been doing it recently. Anyway, I can sense where your friends are from here. Come on." Zeed made a step off the first symbol. However, as his foot went forward another red line traced itself beneath Zeed's foot. It was a different, unrecognizable symbol, but it looked like the further he walked, the more this path of symbols seemed to move.
"Should we follow him, Anti?" Sentinel asked cautiously.
"Unfortunately, yes. We've don't have any other ways out…" Anto looked back up, and yep. He didn't see the vortex they came in. "Everyone, keep your eyes peeled."
KZZT!
"Dang it Kryx! That's just an Earth expression!"
The little alien put away the laser potato-peeler lookalike device back into her hammer space and promptly deflated. "Phooey."
Anto looked at Ohko and Sentinel who looked like they were also going to reach for Kryx's device. "I mean just keep your guard up in case something else looks like it's going to attack us."
"OOoohhhhhh." Anto threw his hands in the air and walked after Zeed after his slower Pokémon seemed to realize what he meant.
Eventually, their walk had lead them down to a floating stone platform that was in front of this giant cube that continually shifted itself like a rubix cube.
However, that wasn't what Anto focused on.
On the middle of the platform was a tabernacle with both the White and Black Orb floating in place surrounded with red energy. Behind them was a dragon that Anto had never seen before, but looked chained to the ground and writhing in pain. It took him a second to realize that it was Kyurem, the forgotten third dragon of Unova. They had captured it as well?
Takezo quickly jumped on Anto's shoulder and pointed to something leaning on the bottom of the tabernacle, "Anto, hurry!"
"Huh? WhyJAMIE!?" The young boy's eye widened as he saw one of his missing friends, sitting right under the tabernacle with her face buried into her hands.
The young boy and his Pokémon sprinted with great urgency towards the brown haired girl, seemingly ignoring the fact that Zeed was standing just outside of the platform and had made no move to step into it.
As Anto got closer, he heard the familiar sounds of crying. He quickly ran to Jamie and carefully kneeled down to her level. "Jamie! Jamie! Hey, it's me! Anto!"
Her sobbing stopped—almost like she was forced to stop crying and she slowly move her face up to reveal this horrified look on her tear stained face.
The young boy tried his best to comfort her, and place a hand on her shoulder. "W-We're here to get you out of here! Help me get the Black and White Stone, so we can blow this place up and never come back here again!"
"Why? Why are you here?" She gasped in a whimpering voice.
"I'm here to save Black and N… and you and Kyurem apparently." Anto stood back up because it seemd like Kyurem was thrashing harder than before.
"You! Stay away from her! You do not know what she's capable off!" The ice dragon roared.
"Hey she's my friend! And If you'll calm down, I'll help you all—"
"You fool! It's a trap!"
Before Anto could process that, he was surprised when Jamie hugged him out of nowhere and whispered into his ear.
"I'm so sorry…"
He could feel the tears falling on his shoulder, but before he could ask why, he felt something pressed into his chest—
"But I have to save him… I need to save him…"
Then he felt as if someone was boiling every ounce of his blood inside him, it grew worse and worse with each passing second until he could no longer take the horrid pain. But before he fell into the dark unconsciousness, he swore he heard his friend crying and apologizing over and over….
{Author Notes}
