I do not own Rosario + Vampire. This is my original fan fiction story based on the manga series created by Akihisa Ikeda. Its where the story continues on in my heart from where Akihisa Ikeda chose to end his story of Tsukune Aono and Moka Akashiya.
I also want to say thank you for being patient with me. I wish I wasn't as lazy as I am some times lol. But I will continue on with this story until I finally reach the end.

Chapter 33
Unified Assault on Fairy Tale
Part 2

As the team started making their way into the fortress, they found themselves being met with scattered resistance that grew heavier as they progressed onto the other levels. When they came to the first set of wide ramps at the other side of the entry level floor, they split up into 2 teams.
Mizore, Yukio, Kurumu and Gabe along with 6 of Issa's loyal Castle guards took the ramp on the left heading down to the lower levels. Their mission was to shut down any defensive weaponry platforms, free prisoners if they found any and wipe out any resistance they encounter.
Issa Shuzen unsheathed his sword as he quickly ascended the ramp on the right, heading for the upper levels. Following him was Akua, Kahlua, Kokoa and 6 Shuzen Castle guards. They quickly ran into resistance as forces of Fairy Tale were scrambling to group together to make defensive positions. The leaders giving quick orders before running up the next ramp to the higher floors.

Moka and Tsukune entered into the entry level floor they used their enhanced senses to scan the fortress. They felt some 40 lower class yokai about 14 floors down where the prison was supposed to be along with about 20 others manning the lower defense platforms. What caught their attention was a group of high class yokai clustered together and rapidly rising straight up from the lower floors. Using flash step they advanced to the elevator doors before ripping them open. They watched the elevator quickly approaching them and silently stepped onto the roof of the elevator as it continued to rise up the shaft. From where they were they could hear the frightened voices of a few of them along with a few overconfident voices trying to calm them down.
"Were screwed man… can't you feel that! The hole fortress is crawling with vampires… PISSED OFF VAMPIRES MAN!" one voice within the elevator squealed in fear along with a couple others fearfully asking "What are we gonna do General?"
"Were gonna do our jobs! That's what were gonna do! When we join the others on the top floors were going to turn on the sprinkler system and then teach those fucking vampires a lesson. Now shake your fear and grow a spine before I tear it out." The General growled angrily.
Hearing this Tsukune and Moka bent down and silently destroyed the elevators emergency brakes before they grabbed the connection blocks where the cables connected to the elevator. As it neared the top floors they gripped it tight and pulled up while pushing on the frame of the elevator it was bolted to, ripping the hunk of steel the cables were connected to, off from the frame and sending the elevator plummeting to the bottom of the shaft at a very high rate of speed. Looking at each other with a wicked smirk as they heard the terrified screams of the elevators occupants as it fell down the shaft.
"Warning guys… They may turn on the sprinkler system to trap and render us in a weakened state." Moka said relaying a possible threat to the team.
"Mizore, freeze and water lines you see and if you guys see any shut off valves… turn them off." Tsukune said as Moka and him were about to tear open the elevator door shaft and enter one of the uppermost floors of the fortress.

Hearing the warning Kokoa turned a few shades lighter as her eyes started to scan the walls for pipes and shut off valves and she wasn't the only one looking. The warning Moka had given them had brought all the vampires in the party to a very high state of wariness. A water trap was something none of them wanted to be caught in as it would leave them practically defenseless. Hoods were raised to shield their heads. They were very thankful that they were wearing clothes that would protect them for a short amount of time if it came to it. They would have to exit the area quickly if their enemy's did spring such a trap upon them.
After clearing the resistance on that floor they found the valve that controlled the water on that floor and turned it off before proceeding to the next level.

Mizore had the vampires take cover before focusing her cold on the sprinkler pipes overhead. As the pipe quickly started to freeze several of the sprinkler heads burst before the water froze in a 3ft radius icicle pattern around the heads.
As the vampires got the all clear they quickly swarmed the floor, clearing the opposition and rooms as they went. The only floors they found with fairly high resistance were the floors with access to the outer defenses, which they found to be about every 3rd floor.
As they neared the 8th floor down they found the sprinkler systems had been turned on to try to deter them. The floor was quickly flooding with the water already 2 inches deep.
Mizore was just about to use her ability to freeze the water when one of the Shuzen guards yanked her back from the doorway as gunfire burst from down the hallway, riddling the spot she was just at.
"Easy Ms. I got ya." Malcolm said to Mizore, wincing from cold that suddenly overtook her.
"Th...Th...Thanks" Mizore shakily said wide eyed while staring at the bullet riddled spot she was yanked from.
Mizore then manifested an icy tendril that bent around the top corner of the doorway. The part hooking around the door was about 1 inch in diameter but the part where she was standing with the others was about 16 inches. Giving her and the others a view of what was waiting for them. The hallway was narrow and split in three directions. Taking advantage of all the water they were supplying her with, Mizore manifested 2 more icy spy tendrils and sent all three down the halls along the overhead pipes, to locate and monitor the enemy. Then she formed several dozen ice puppets and sent them to take care of them.
The sound of rapid gunfire on constantly reinforced ice puppets rang throughout the floor, quickly joined by the sound of the pain filled screams of her puppets victims.
After that Mizore froze all of the water on the floor and stopped the sprinkler system before she became wobbly on her feet.
"Whoa, are you ok?" Kurumu asked Mizore in a concerned voice.
"Yeah… just a little worn out from controlling and maintaining 36 ice puppets at the same time." Mizore said in a small tired voice.
"You gonna be able to keep going babe?" Yukio asked her.
To which Mizore grabbed him and took his lips with hers for a deep passionate kiss which left him a bit light headed when it broke.
"I think I'll be alright now." Mizore said with small cute smile.

Moka and Tsukune carefully opened the door of the elevator shaft a few inches and peered into the hallway that was abuzz with around 25 yokai setting up barriers and defensive positions. The scent of fear filled the area where they were frantically following the orders being barked at them. The one barking the orders was standing right next to the valve that controlled the fire sprinklers. Seeing this Moka and Tsukune looked at each other and quietly formed a plan of attack before opening the doors all the way.
Tsukune flash stepped over to the Werewolf that was barking all the orders, using his aura he yanked the werewolf away from the valve before delivering a powerful punch straight into the mutts snout with bone crushing force as fragments of bone from his upper jaw splintered into his brain, killing him instantly.
While Tsukune secured the area around the sprinkler valve Moka flew into action with blurring speed. Dispatching the remaining yokai in the hallway with deadly force while yelling "Know your place!" Flash stepping from target to target while launching spin kicks through some of their heads, side kicks into several of their chests and snap kicks that brutally decapitated the yokai that received them. When all was said and done, Moka was covered in blood and the hallway looked like it belonged in a major slasher film that focused on gore rather than plot.
Tsukune then ripped the handle off the valve, careful not to damage the valve, so it could not be used by anyone that may come up to their floor while they went up to deal with Kiria.

Kiria Yoshi was watching his monitors in a state of disbelief as his flying yokai were being cut down in rapid succession by the human fighter jets being aided by 2 witches and a dragon. Other monitors were showing that the intruders of his flying base had split into 2 groups and were reaking havoc rapidly throughout his base. He was rapidly scaning through the camera feeds trying to find Tsukune and Moka who seemed to just vanish after they entered the base. After about 10 minutes he finally found them, strolling through a gore filled hallway of corpses that was supposed to be his last line of defense. Seeing the two of them smile wickedly at the camera before heading to the stairs that would lead them straight to him.
Seeing this Kiria quickly flipped a switch before unsheathing his sword in one hand and grabbing his 9mm Glock with his other hand. Cursing under his breath as the sprinkler system failed to activate.
He could now clearly feel the powerful auras of the vampires he hated the most approaching the door to where he was standing, every muscle taunt and ready to fly into motion. Sweat starting to drip from his brow as tremors of fear started to grip his spine. He knew full well that he was going to die there in just a few short moments. His only resolve… that kept his fear of death from overwhelming him at that moment, was the thought of taking Tsukune Aono with him. He knew that even if he defeated both of them that the humans would soon be knocking his base out of the sky with a barrage of missiles. If the flames and shrapnel from the multiple explosions didn't kill him, the fall from the base plummeting to the ocean below would.
Narrowing his eyes Kiria readied himself as he watched the knob of his door handle start to turn.

In the lowest floors of the base Kurumu stepped into the large engineering room unleashing a full charm on the yokai forces that had barricaded themselves there. Once hit by the powerful charm they began to attack each other, while the rest of the party walked in and began to examine the room. Mizore and Yukio found the main water pumps that pressurized not only the drinking water throughout the base but also the fire sprinkler system. They smiled lovingly at each other before freezing the pumps solid and destroying the power lines the operated the pumps.
"Hey everyone, the water pumps have been taken care of, sprinkler systems are now down for the count." Mizore said through the communicators.
"Great work guys. Time for everyone to start clearing out of here, Moka and I are heading to Kiria now. Be joining you all on the weather deck shortly." Tsukune answered.
"Rodger that. Good luck and we'll see you soon." Issa Shuzen replied as everyone started to head back to the platform they first arrived on. All the outer defenses had been destroyed, hearing that Tsukune and Moka were about to engage Kiria was enough to let them know that their part of the mission was over and it was time to go home.

Turning the door knob Tsukune threw the door open and raced into the room with Moka quickly following. Several shots rang out and they felt the bullets bounce off their armored trenchcoats. In the blink of an eye they found themselves in fierce hand to hand combat with Kiria who started swinging his sword and launching powerful kicks at the two vampires. Using their sleeves to block the sword strikes while attempting counterstrikes that Kiria was just managing to avoid. The fight was something Moka and Tsukune were finding to be surprisingly difficult to gain the upper hand. Even though they knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were far more powerful than Kiria, but Kiria was proving to be far more experienced.
With deft skill and blistering speed Kiria managed to knock Tsukune back a few feet before landing a powerful kick into Moka's solarplexous, knocking the wind out of her while sending her into a wall with bone breaking force. Moka slumped onto her knees from the impact, temporarily dazed.
Kiria quickly rushed at Moka to run her through with his sword.
In that single heartbeat of time, Tsukune felt fear grip his heart like a vice. Kiria was about to kill his bloodmate in front of his very eyes. Time slowed down to a crawl as Tsukune moved between the two before twisting his body around and sending his open hand attack straight into Kiria's chest and through his heart. At the exact same time as Kiria's sword pierced his own chest and heart.
Kiria grinned like a madman while choking on his own blood as he stared into Tsukunes eyes.
Both of them fell to their knees before falling to the side.
"TSUKUNE!" Moka yelled as she quickly got up. She pulled the sword from Tsukunes chest before removing Kiria head with it to ensure that he truly was dead.
Moka then gripped Tsukune in her arms as tears started to flow down her cheeks.
"Tsukune… don't leave me… Please don't leave me all alone. I need you… The thought of eternity without you is too much to bear. If you don't come back now, I'll use that cursed blade to join you my love." Moka wept
Suddenly a warm light bathed the room and a voice spoke.
"Fear not my cherished child. This was to be that they would kill each other in battle. But we both know that truly killing a vampire is no easy task. Thanks to the enchanted bracelets Yukari and Ruby made, the swords curse is useless on him." The voice in the light said as the light condensed over Tsukune.
Right then Tsukune shot up taking a deep breath as his eyes opened suddenly.
"TSUKUNE, Oh thank God… I thought I lost you." Moka cried out.
"You did lose me briefly. I was given a choice to stay there and reap my rewards or to return and continue the struggle… To hold the weight of peace upon my shoulders until true peace is formed. I chose the latter to be with you my love." Tsukune said softly before adding. "Lets go home."

A few moments later Moka and Tsukune walked onto the deck just in time to see Scarlet land and open up the portal home. Tsukune smiled and headed toward the portal hand in hand with Moka.
"Lets go home guys. Gentlemen I leave the rest to you." Tsukune said just before following everyone from the raid team into the portal.
"You heard him everyone. Commence attack on the flying base. Weapons hot, locked and loaded. We are clear to fire. BANZI!" Captian Ikara shouted as he turned his jet toward the flying base.
"BANZI, BANZI, BANZI!" a chorus of voices answered in response to the Captains words.

Onboard the U.S. Flagship , USS Enterprise CVN-65; Chief Petty Officer Taka Shoeman was listening to the radio communications between the fighters near the flying base when he heard Lord Aono's message and Captian Ikara's response. Turning to Admiral Kimble he relayed the message.
Admiral Kimble then got on the radio and gave the order to the American fighters to attack the base.
The Sendo's then bowed to the Admiral and went to their assigned positions for their part of the mission. Once there they raised magical barriers over the fleet to protect the ships from falling debris. They were soon joined by Ruby Tojo, who flew over to the fleet once the enemy's flying yokai were eliminated.
Once she arrived she raised her own wand to help protect the Fleet.

Yukari was so excited as the jet she was in lead the attack and fired the first salvo of missiles at Fairy Tails flying base. Her maniacal laughter ringing over the radio as the missiles slammed into the base and exploded.
"Hahahahaha Serves you right you jerks! Hahahahaha" Yukari squealed excitedly Captain Ikara joining her in a hardy laugh of his own.

Sorry for the long wait. I hope you all like this chapter. It was quite difficult to write in a way that I could live with. To be honest this is like the 12th time I've wrote this chapter and I'm still not 100% satisfied with it but I also realize that trying to write an epic fight scene the way I picture it in my head isn't as easy as it seems. Anyway I hope you enjoy this and once again I'm very sorry for the wait.
