Error 01A: Azure Soul

[Unknown Location]

It was a simple but dark room with a single large light shining overhead. The light was mostly directed towards the middle of the room as it was just bright enough to illuminate a large round conference table, but it wasn't bright enough to anything of the occupants with the exception of the five pairs of arms that were resting on the tabletop.

"What is the status of the Terra Nova?" One of the five occupants asked, whose voice sounded like an adult male.

"Final preparations are being completed as we speak, but the installation of the Unbounded has been hampered with a few minor problems." A young female occupant answered.

"No matter, we must gather our Masters for the upcoming war. Have we located all seven of our targets?" An old man questioned.

"We have positive IDs on all seven Masters and have agents en route." An old woman answered.

"Excellent, may the war be in our favor and without further ado, this O5 Council meeting is over." Another old man replied with his voice sounding hoarse.

The single light goes dark as the sounds of footsteps can be heard leaving. Strangely, the light turned back on without anyone else being present, revealing a file labeled "Potential Masters" with its contents poking out ever so slightly. It wasn't enough to reveal all of the information of its contents, but it was just enough to reveal seven names of different people on seven different sheets, with all of them being marked with a check to indicate confirmation to their status as Masters. The names followed in order were Ken Advent, Ezekiel Knights, Koji Himura, Irene Fletcher, Celaeno Ravenstar, Christopher Einz Watson, and Gauto Lance.

[Side 7, Green Noa 1, Daytime]

[Play OST-Menu-Ace Combat 5]

Green Noa 1, the only colony for Side 7 before Green Noa 2 was completed, was well-known for being the birthplace of the famous RX-78-2 Gundam. It was currently a normal day for the inhabitants of the colony cylinder as they were minding their own business, with most of them passing by each other with no greeting. That said, there was one particular person amongst the crowd who was navigating through traffic on the streets and sidewalks. The person in question was a young man with a tall, lean build, had long dark brown hair in a low ponytail with a few dark red fringes dangling near his bright green eyes with light skin. He was wearing a black muscle shirt, a blue long-sleeved jacket, white pants, black/white sneakers, and black gloves. He seemed to be in a hurry as he quickly walked towards the spaceport. As he was making his way, there was a cloaked figure following him who tapped their right ear onto an earpiece.

"Target Ken Advent confirmed, move in to secure." The cloaked figure, whose voice identified the individual as a male, sent out the order.

Numerous combat homunculi, dressed in Federation combat uniforms and armed with Steyr AUGs, acknowledged the order, standing up from their observation points on the rooftops above the nearby populace and ran off in his direction, utilizing their Magic Circuits along with Reinforcement spells to increase their speed and strength as they jumped from rooftop to rooftop, their presence concealed from the general public thanks to a specialized Bounded Field that rendered them invisible to normal humans. His Newtype awareness detecting their presence, Ken began to double-time it towards his destination in an effort to shake his pursuers, but the tactic proved to be a futile gesture less than a minute later as they steadily gained ground. Knowing that they wouldn't stop following him, he quickly broke out into a run towards a crowd that was ahead of him in an effort to lose them, but there were other agents already on the ground ready to intercept. Having no choice, Ken just booked it as both the rooftop and ground-based followers gave chase, with both parties rudely shoving aside anyone in their way.

"Target is getting away, isolate his position!" The leader ordered.

Ken was about to make it to his destination, but he quickly saw a bunch of military jeeps at the entrance, causing him to click his tongue in annoyance. Having no other choice, he quickly moved to his left into an alleyway, but that was exactly where the followers wanted him to go. He thought that he was heading towards another street, but was met with a wall as the followers had cornered him, with the homunculi on the rooftops jumping down and aiming their rifles at him. Having no other options than to fight, he raised his fist up and braced himself. However, he didn't expect the leader himself to suddenly appear behind the crowd of homunculi, ordering them to stand down as he walked towards Ken, meeting him face-to-face.

"Ken Advent, I presume?" The leader asked.

"Yeah, that's my name. What the hell do you want?" Ken asked back with hostility in his voice.

"No need to get aggressive. We would like for you to answer a few questions." The leader explained.

"Fine, but tell your men to… wait a minute, those are homunculi… you're a Mage, aren't you?!" Ken questioned, sounding even angrier than before.

"Why yes, I am. Now about those questions…" The Mage was about to ask Ken but lashed out with a set of invisible binding spells which bound Ken down like a set of chains to prevent him from punching him in the face. "Oh my, what a hostile attempt."

"Shut the hell up! What does a Mage want with me?!" Ken demanded as the man just chuckled in response.

"Do not worry," The man reassured. "I only ask of you to come with us to a Federation base for something important. Something regarding those seals on your left hand."

This made Ken pause for a moment, as this man somehow knew about the markings on his left hand. Taking another look at the homunculi and noticing their Federation uniforms, it appeared that there were those within the Federation who were also aware of the marks on his hand, and by extension Magecraft as well. Forcing himself to calm down, he felt the binding spells shatter on the man's behalf which allowed him to stand up properly again.

"Alright… I'll go with you. But only for answers, you got that?" Ken stated his terms, making sure that the man understood.

"Excellent, if you would follow me." The man answered as he turned to leave the alley, with the homunculi jumping back onto the rooftops as Ken followed the mage.

"Target Ken Advent has been recovered, moving onto next target." The mage said quietly through his earpiece.

[Earth, Former Oakland Newtype Lab]

[Play OST-The Voice Someone Calls-Persona 3]

The Oakland Newtype Lab was one of the Federation's Newtype Institutes before being taken over by the Titans during the Gryps Conflict. The lab itself was abandoned after the war which can be seen through the wildlife and flora that now occupy it, but most of the machinery was surprisingly still operational as the generator powering the base was still online. It was hidden deep underground with only a few entrances permitting access, which were mostly for supply vehicles and Mobile Suits, but one of them had been forced open as the doors were dented in a manner that resembled the crushing grip of a giant hand, indicating that the culprit was a Mobile Suit pilot with their machine.

Inside was a large scrapyard of parts that mostly included Mobile Suit parts and lab equipment. Amongst the wreckage was a tall, fair-skinned man with a muscular body type with chocolate brown eyes and short black hair who appeared to be in his early twenties. He was wearing a black and brown business suit with a dark overcoat, black fingerless gloves, brown loafers, and a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and a grey scarf. He was checking the scrapyard for any usable Mobile Suit components as nearby, shrouded in the darkened confines of the room, was the silhouette of what appeared to be a Gundam-type Mobile Suit. Unknown to the man, the security cameras were still operational but had been hacked as their lights were white instead of red. On the other end of the circuit, a small special operations team fully armored and armed with FN SCARs equipped with holo-sights, suppressors, and green laser sights were watching the man through the main monitor of the still-functional security room.

"Target Ezekiel Knights confirmed, sending in the negotiator." The leader said through an encrypted radio to his superiors.

Ezekiel was scavenging for parts to upgrade his prized Mobile Suit and wound up stumbling upon an intact PDA after finding several different parts that fit his search criteria. Intrigued by the find, he booted it up and hacked his way through the PDA's security, hoping to find some data that would be relevant to his interests. Unfortunately, though, the PDA only contained data on the status of numerous test subjects that had been deployed during the Gryps Conflict, with all of them displaying Killed In Action. He threw the PDA away in disappointment but was caught off-guard at the noise of the portable terminal impacting a heavy boot. He slowly turned around to see who had snuck up on him, and while he couldn't get a clear view of the person due to the darkness of the junkyard, he could make out the figure of a man in a black cloak. Knowing something was off about the person, Ezekiel slowly reached behind his back to grab a Desert Eagle, but the unknown stopped him when he suddenly spoke up.

"I wouldn't advise of you to do that." The man stated, making Ezekiel pause.

"Oh, forgive me. You startled me." Ezekiel apologized as he returned to a neutral stance, but he was still on guard just in case the unknown individual tried anything tricky.

"Apologies for the inconvenience, but we would like for you to come with us." The man bluntly stated, catching Ezekiel's attention.

"Mmmm, how much are you willing to pay? Assuming you're here because you know I'm a mercenary." Ezekiel questions with a raised eyebrow while also smiling at the thought of earning more money to help with upgrading his Mobile Suit.

"As much as you like." The man answered.

"Then the answer would be that I refuse," Ezekiel replied as he turned back to resume salvaging through the junkyard. He wasn't a fool, as those kinds of offers were usually suicide missions.

"Please reconsider…" The man attempted to say but was cut off.

"Please, I'm not interested," Ezekiel answered again, picking up another junked part to examine it.

"Well… I guess you wouldn't be interested in hunting down an active Neo Zeon Remnant force." The man finished, making Ezekiel pause his examination and turn back towards the man.

"Neo Zeon Remnants, you say?" Ezekiel asked, his tone turning serious and his voice leaking venom. "If that's the case, I would gladly join this group of yours if it means I get to remove them from the world stage."

"Excellent, if you can come with us please."

"One thing first, I demand that this group yours upgrade my Gullinbursti for this mission," Ezekiel stated as he pointed to the silhouette of his Gundam.

The man nodded, agreeing with the condition. "Alright, I'll contact our engineers for the modifications." He turned around to make his leave, even as he heard Ezekiel ride up on one of his Mobile Suit's manipulators up to the cockpit.

"Ezekiel Knights has been successfully recruited, but have the engineers transfer parts from the planned Mobile Suit to his own when it arrives." The leader of the spec ops group said over the comms.

"Copy that. We have already contacted the next Master, but we are still waiting for a reply." A female operator replied, carrying out the order.

[Space, Earth's Orbit]

[Play OST- Just Tuned-Armored Core V]

Above Earth's orbit, just barely visible in the darkness of space was a single large battlecruiser that wasn't of either Earth Federation or Zeon in design, and oddly enough resembled the GPS Absolution MK.I from the Toonami program from the old calendar era. There were, however, several differences between the old design and the current vessel, among them a box-like object replacing the transmission array along with being armed with numerous mega particle cannons, missile launchers, and point-defense guns, as well as being equipped with two large Mobile Suit hangars, a pair of catapults that were enclosed in armor meant to protect Mobile Suits while they were being launched, and thousands of panels on the exterior of the hull that made it almost invisible against the dark backdrop of the cosmos. Inside, the interior was designed similar to a UC 0096 era warship and a 2558 UNSC warship from the Halo series with the bridge having a large holographic tactical table and interface. On the bridge was a man that, oddly enough, resembled Lelouch from Code Geass, but more physically fit and agile along with being in his mid-20s and was wearing a uniform similar to the Preventers from Gundam Wing. He was holding onto a PDA, checking several different unknown things before he received a message that was meant for a "Koji Himura" just as he was leaving the bridge. In another room that was a man in his mid-to-late twenties, with short hair that is mostly mid light brown with a mixture a little red in the color, while having dark-blue grayish eyes. He had a single scar on his left cheek and also possessed well-trained muscles. He was wearing a standard Earth Federation Uniform, with the Londo Bell Insignia of the right breast of the Uniform, while the ECOAS insignia is on the right shoulder. He was reading an unknown file before the door to the room opened, causing him to look up.

"Sorry to interrupt you sir, but a message came for you." The Lelouch lookalike stated as he left the PDA on the man's desk.

"Thanks for notifying me, you may leave Alan." The man said as Alan nodded and left the room, the automatic door sliding shut behind him.

The man grabbed the PDA and opened the list of recent messages. He selected the message for him, which was in fact labeled "Koji Himura", meaning that it was likely meant for his eyes only. The message was from Londo Bell, but Koji was skeptical; as while it was labeled under Londo Bell, it was sent from a division in Londo Bell known as TERA, and he didn't know about this division. He saw that the message had an audio recording for him, and he was able to identify the voice as an automated one meant to preserve anonymity once he began to play it.

"Greetings Koji Himura, this is a message from the 35th Technical Evaluation Research Army Forces of Londo Bell."

'I'm more curious about why I haven't heard about you,' Koji though as the message continued.

"We are a research group that was created after the Second Neo Zeon War, hence why you didn't know about us." The voice answered his unspoken question, making Koji blink at getting an answer straight away as well as a nod in understanding.

"We would like to ask for your cooperation by joining our group. We will reinstate your rank and provide you with an advanced Mobile Suit if needed." The message continued, and the commander of S.T.R.I.K.E immediately began to lose interest in the offer.

'Seems like nothing more than an invitation. Maybe I should decline.' Koji began to think, but the message delivered one final statement before he could shut it off.

"Our enemies are remnants of what you hate the most but are more dangerous than what you think, as they are Mages that incorporate Magecraft into their weapons. Who knows what will happen if we don't stop them?" The message finished as the PDA then displayed coordinates to the meeting area.

This final statement made Koji actually roll up his fists in anger as merely thinking of the word Zeon was enough to piss him off. He pulled out a small bunch of dog tags out of his pocket and stared at them in thought. After a minute, he pocketed them and transferred the coordinates to a small data chip, afterward he sent the chip to the bridge via a small port next to his desk.

"Alan, I have just sent you a data chip. Direct the Absolution to the coordinates that are specified on it." Koji ordered through the intercom built into the small port.

"Roger that," Alan said as Koji leaned back in his chair, staring at the large screen on the far wall of his room which was currently displaying a live view of the Milky Way Galaxy from the ship's perspective, allowing him to relax and think about the battles that were to come.

[Texas Colony]

[Play OST-Cosmology-Titanfall (Repeat at 1:00 mark)]

The Texas Colony, a former Side 5 colony that was abandoned during the One Year War, was currently being transported towards its new location, L5, where the former Side 4 colonies resided. The interior of the colony was still a barren wasteland as construction would start once it reached its destination. Despite this, someone had managed to sneak into the colony during its orbital transfer maneuver, with the evidence being a single speck of light along with a trail of fire following it as it entered the colony through the spaceport. It flew down into a sandstorm that was currently raging in the colony's interior, with the intent on using the storm as concealment to keep any prying eyes on finding its exact location. Ten minutes later, a second speck of light, which had a blue trail instead of the former's fiery gold, followed it inside the colony interior, keeping itself distant from the first speck to better avoid detection.

Several hours later, just as the sandstorm was subsiding, a lone person wearing a white cloak was heading towards a ridge. Once the sandstorm finally ended the individual shrugged off the cloak and folded it up, placing the cloak by their side and revealing the person to be a girl that seemed to only be around 14 years of age. She had ash white hair that fell down to her ankles with a scarlet ribbon tied into it near the end to keep her hair together along with another black ribbon with flame decals tied into it on the upper right side of her head, eyes the color of molten magma, and a scarlet cord necklace whose flower-shaped pendant featured an amethyst jewel with a gray slit running down the middle that gave the gem the appearance of a crystallized snake eye. She was wearing a thin black funnel neck shirt with red trim and a silver zipper on the front that accentuated her A-cup breasts and exposed her midriff, on top of which she was wearing a short-sleeved jacket with a white collar and two external pockets on the sides, which were divided into three sub-pockets each, that is primarily scarlet in color with black bands outlined in yellow that run the edges of the jacket that was being worn open. On her arms she was wearing detached sleeves that were being held in place with black belts on her upper arms where the sleeves start as a scarlet color, then shift to black at the elbow section and finally end with the lower third of the sleeves in a yellow and orange pattern that appears to resemble fire, with the ends of the sleeves partially covering her hands which were clad in black fingerless gloves. She was also wearing a pair of black short shorts with a scarlet stripe on the upper rim outlined in silver with a gold phoenix-shaped clasp on the front, with the lower section being black and the bottom trim being scarlet. Below this is a pair of pantyhose that start as pure black at the hips but gradually fade to scarlet, orange, and finally yellow down the legs, with branching flame-like trim starting bright at the feet then fading up the legs until disappearing at the thighs, and below these and her shirt she was wearing scarlet undergarments. On her feet, she was wearing lace-free, mid-calf steel-toed boots that were primarily black in color, with the soles, tongue, and cuff of the boots being scarlet, and are equipped with small steel strips on top of the toe box and on the front of the cuff. To top it all off, as a small gust blew past her, her hair parted to reveal a red phoenix-shaped marking on her forehead.

She sat on the edge of the ridge and began to hum a tune to herself, watching the barren wasteland as the colony's artificial sun rose over its equally artificial horizon, all the while completely unaware of the other individual who had also sneaked in watching her.

"Irene Fletcher, an anomaly to this era, but not to humanity. A person who has lived through countless hardships and one of the extreme few to understand the meaning of true isolation. Perhaps it's time to visit her again." A young yet playful male voice said to himself as the sound of him dropping from a high place echoed throughout the area.

Irene was minding her own business as she gazed at the colony's barren landscape, deep in thought when she detected a presence with a weapon approaching her from behind. But then something odd happened; as she was reacting to the presence, her eyes temporarily changed color from molten magma to emerald green as a clock symbol momentarily appeared, its hands fast forwarding from the present time up to ten minutes into the future before they disappeared, reverting back to her original eye color. She quickly turned around and pulled out a pair of modified Desert Eagles and aimed them at the newcomer. The newcomer was revealed to be a man in an Organization 13 coat as he raised his hands in mock surrender and the weapon was nowhere to be found, but what appeared to be data was coming out of his right sleeve. Irene kept her guns trained on him before the man decided to speak up.

"What was the phrase again? Don't shoot the messenger?" The man said calmly.

"Who are you?" Irene asked back quietly, still aiming her Desert Eagles at him.

"Irene Fletcher, a survivor from the Age of Gods…" The man started off instead of answering, making Irene's eyes widen at the fact that he knew who she truly was.

"Far too late to save her family from an unfortunate fate, you killed yourself time and time again until you gave up and wandered the world. From there, you experienced many famous stories firsthand. The life of the Golden King and the Weapon of the Gods in the Epic of Gilgamesh, the clash between Karna and Arjuna in the Mahabharata, and even the rule of Queen Semiramis of Assyria as well as many others... that is, until you met 'her'." He continued as Irene's grip on the triggers tightened, now fully aware as to what he was going to say next.

"First seeing you as an enemy, the both of you fought until you both came to an understanding, and you were allowed to live with both her and her sisters for a period of time. During this time, both you and she would come to develop special feelings for each other, with you giving her a ring and she giving you a necklace, and even when she fell to her curse and transformed into a monster you still loved her."

"Stop…" Irene muttered as she shifted her aim towards the man's head.

"When she fell at the hands of the hero Perseus you swore revenge, killing both the hero and the gods responsible for this as you suffered constant agony within your soul." He said sounding disappointed.

"Stop!" She replied in a louder tone as her trigger fingers were now in physical contact with the triggers.

"To suffer tragedies such as this, again and again, you must've rolled your dice wrong you poor thing... or was this all merely a chain of bad coincidences?" He continued.

"Stop it!" Irene yelled, her voice starting to crack she remembered that terrible memory of the headless corpse of her lover, lying motionless in the temple on the Shapeless Isle.

"What a terrible fate you have, becoming nothing more than a former shell of yourself." He crosses his arms as Irene's eyes start to water.

"What do you have to say about this, Gorgon's Whore?" The man finished, and the petite immortal finally snapped at the insulting nickname.

"SHUT UP!" Irene roared as she fired both of her Desert Eagles at the man.

She unloaded the entirety of both of the handguns' clips at the man in a blind rage as he just stood there, allowing the bullets to make contact with him. However, as they closed in, an invisible barrier that was covering the man flared and deflected every bullet that came into contact, but Irene didn't notice this from the dust cloud that the barrier had also kicked up. Seconds later, the man rushed out of the dust cloud undamaged, and Irene found the edge of a longsword pointed dangerously close to her neck as she stares at the cloaked man's eyes as they glow emerald green.

"Please, no hostilities." The man said, not minding about Irene's state of mind.

"What… what do you want?" The girl choked out.

"Oh? I simply just wanted to deliver a message, but with the current timeframe I spent messing around, I can only deliver a small portion of it." He answered innocently as he used his left hand to grab a pocket watch from his coat and open it to check the time.

"Before time resumes, let me say this: Beware of the Imprisoned Shadows, for they shall bring ruin to the balance we have created and maintained. Till we meet again, Irene Fletcher." The man finished as he closed the pocket watch, causing Irene's eyes to once again change back to emerald green as the clock symbol reappeared, but this time the hands spun counter-clockwise to noon before they reverted back to their normal eye color and everything went white.

Irene found herself sitting back on the ridge right as she was about to react to the unknown presence. This time, however, she couldn't detect any traces of the mysterious individual. This left her puzzled; she could have sworn she could have felt someone approaching her, but now that feeling was gone. Blinking in confusion, she sighed and rubbed her forehead, still trying to figure out the meaning of the marks that had burned themselves onto it. However, when she was about to sit back down, she spotted a quintet of lights entering the colony. They hovered near the entrance of the spaceport, apparently scanning the interior, before taking off in her direction. Now on guard, Irene warily kept a close eye on the five machines, taking note that they were apparently in no hurry if their slow flight speed was anything to go by, and as they finally drew close enough to make out their silhouettes she was taken by surprise that they weren't the Jegans she was expecting due to their blocky construction, but rather a GM variant that she had never seen before. Four of them broke off and formed a perimeter around her, while the unit that was in the center of the formation hovered to a stop and gently landed in front of her. Irene steeled herself, preparing for a fight when a few details made themselves clear.

For one, the five GMs had their weapons noticeably lowered and pointed away from her person, and secondly, the hatch of the unit in front of her was opening, allowing its pilot to step onto the Mobile Suit's right palm and lower it to the ground, giving Irene the opportunity to stare at the individual across from her. To her shock, the person that stepped off from the GM's manipulator was a female homunculus wearing a Federation uniform, who then took a few steps towards the petite girl.

"Irene Fletcher?" The homunculus asked, shaking Irene out of her stupor and nod her head on reflex.

"What do you want?" Irene asked after taking a moment to compose herself, watching the homunculus take out and hand her a PDA.

"We have a job for you, and would like for you to join our Special Forces unit in Londo Bell known as TERA." The homunculus answered as Irene took a look at the PDA's contents, feeling uninterested at the moment.

"Payment?" Irene asked noticing that that little detail wasn't listed.

"As much as you like." Was the answer.

"Then I refuse," Irene replied, handing the homunculus the PDA back.

"Reconsider, we have word that our enemies are organized Neo Zeon Remnants that have Mages included in their ranks and plan to disrupt the peace we have created." The homunculus added, causing Irene to pause for a second to take in the information.

"Alright, I'll join. But I want my Mobile Suit upgraded for this." Irene quickly replied, and the homunculus nodded her head in response.

"Understood. If you can follow us to these coordinates, we have a ship waiting for you." The homunculus said as she handed Irene a small data chip.

The homunculus took her turned to leave as she headed back onto the GM's waiting hand, riding it up to the cockpit where she boarded the machine. The GM, as well as the other four escort units, proceeded to take off from the ridgeline and fly back to the spaceport to wait for Irene right outside the colony. Irene herself took a look at the data chip in her hand before she put it away in one of her jacket's pockets and walked away from the ridge, climbing down to where she had hidden her own Mobile Suit during the earlier sandstorm. Completing its startup sequence after boarding the unit, it took off from the bottom of the ridge, leaving a trail of fire behind it as the unit left the colony via the spaceport, where the five waiting GMs then began to escort it to the waiting ship. Meanwhile, the cloaked man was watching from afar as he checked his pocket watch all while repeating a single line.

"Tick tock…Tick tock…Tick tock…" Was all he was saying as he walked away.

[Palau Asteroid]

[Play OST-Instinct and Longing-Persona Q]

At the Palau Asteroid, a Space Launch shuttle could be seen landing at one of the opened spaceports for inbound merchants, mercenaries, or military forces. The port was relatively empty with a few Columbus-class ships inside and Middle Mobile Suits carrying cargo containers to their destinations as a single person exited the Space Launch after it had docked. The person in question was a woman in her early 20s who stood at a height of 6'2" with waist-length black hair done up into a fashion reminiscent of wings, somewhat pale skin, and red eyes. She was wearing an open vest with a black shirt underneath, a pair of black skinny jeans along with a belt with holsters for her cutlass and revolver, and black, thigh-high, steel toe boots. A symbol of a Raven holding a lightning bolt in its talons was on her vest. She was heading further into the station as she pulled out a small PDA that showed a map of the area as it pinpointed a location that was important to her. She walked towards the entrance of the asteroid as merchants and Middle Mobile Suits join along as they were carrying several different items. They enter one of the commercial districts as the woman took a quick look around for someone before she noticed somebody in an alley motioning for her to come closer. Without any delay, she walked towards the person and was pleased to see that it was Argo who was waving at her.

"Nice to see you again Celaeno. What brings you back here?" Argo asked the woman now known as Celaeno.

"Nothing too special, just some secret information on this group known as TERA." She answered.

"TERA, huh? You're in luck; I happen to have some classified data on the group, but it's going to cost you as always." Argo stated as she put her right hand out, waiting for something.

"Of course, here's your payment." Celaeno threw her a small data chip, watching as Argo caught it and loaded it into the cube-like device she was holding, waiting for the woman to confirm the contents of the chip as she looked through the information.

"Ho? You're giving me this type of information? This is a bit too much; I assume you want a favor from me." Argo deducted as Celaeno simply nodded in response.

"That I do, I'll tell you when I want to cash in the favor... and about my data?" She asked.

Argo just simply handed her a small file filled with documents which had the label "Do Not Open" on it. She motions her to go away as she gave a salute and turned around, walking further into the dark alley and leaving Celaeno all alone. She took another look at the file before pulling out the small PDA again, which now showed the emblem of TERA before loading up a set of coordinates for a meeting at the lunar city of Amman. Taking one last look at the dark alley, Celaeno turned around and walked away.

Meanwhile, Argo was still watching her from a distance as she flipped the cube into its triangular prism form as she made a call.

"Argo here, the meeting went as planned. Those predictions were well on point, and it's rather scary." She started.

"Phase 1 is complete, now moving onto to Phase 2. Prep raiding parties at these locations; we're going to need their tech for the upcoming war." She finished as she closed the call and sighed.

"What has this world gone to?" Argo asked to herself.

Inside a small cell was a man in his early 20s with brown curly hair and brown eyes. He was tall and lanky, almost fragile-looking with a slight feminine facial appearance and was wearing the standard Londo Bell uniform with Lieutenant Tags on the collar. It should be noted that it was freezing cold inside the cell, but the man didn't seem to mind it as he didn't even flinch. Seconds later, the door to the cell opened as a person was standing in front of it, but the light obscured their face as they walked towards the man.

"Subject D44, Christoff von Einzbern or now known as Christopher Einz Watson. Reason for imprisonment: Attempted assassination on key TERA members during transfer to Outpost Noire." The unknown person, who was male, said as Chris stayed silent.

"Normally, we would wipe your memories and transfer you to one of our expendable forces, but with the skills you've acquired and have been taught, we are willing to make an exception." He stated as Chris looked up.

"What do you want?" He asked with a small but noticeable amount of venom in his voice.

"We have confirmed a Master's signature on you, and with that mark on your right hand signifies that you're a Master." The person answered as the Command Seals on his right hand were similar to the Command Seals once used by Kariya Matou.

"Here's the deal, we'll forgive your attempted assassination if you decide to join us in our upcoming battle." He said.

"And if I refuse?" Chris asked with a raised eyebrow.

"We'll simply just take your Command Seals and leave you." Was the answer.

"Fine… I'll join you. As long as I get what I'm promised." Chris states as he moved to get up.

"Excellent, we will have a unit prepped for you when we arrive, so for now, follow me."

Chris and the man leave the cell as the cell door automatically shut behind them. Nearby were similar cells which were labeled with a letter and number that ranged from 1 to 100. Several fully armed and armored prison guards were patrolling the area as they watched the duo leave. However, unknown to everyone that was present, lurking in the shadows was what can be described as a small mass of tentacles with a circular open mouth which entered the vents.

Over the mountains was a single traditional Japanese home with a small backyard garden. Walking around this garden was a man that appeared to be in his late 20s or mid-30s, had black hair that was tied up to a ponytail on the back of his head, and possessed a tall, muscular build, while his outfit consisted of a green and red kimono with a katana strapped on his right waist. As he strolled around his garden, he took notice of a group of individuals that consisted of a single Federation officer and two bodyguards walking around his home. The trio noticed the man a few moments later and made to approach him.

"Gentlemen, may I ask why you are walking around my home?" The man asked once they were within hearing range for a normal conversation.

"Pardon the intrusion, but we are looking for Gauto Lance. We are under the assumption that he lives here." The officer answered.

"You're looking right at him, so what can I do for you?" The man now known as Gauto asked as the officer handed him a PDA.

"We would like you to join our forces for an upcoming war against Neo Zeon Remnants."

Gauto paused for a moment "I assume that these Remnants are also Mages if I'm not wrong." He assumed, making the officer nod his head in response.

"You seem fairly knowledgeable about this."

"Call it intuition or that I have an inside source," Gauto answered.

"You mean the girl?" The officer questions.

"So you do know about her," Gauto replied.

"It was a simple assumption, that lab used to belong to us before its control was transferred to another division. It was normal that we would keep records of it." He explained.

"You assume that we are going to take the girl, but we're not here for her," He added in. "We just want your cooperation in this war, and will provide protection for your daughter while you are away."

Gauto nodded in response, finding the terms to be acceptable. "I will join your group, but you don't have to provide protection for my daughter; I have a friend who can take care of her. Just let me write a letter first and grab some of my equipment before I leave."

"Hmm… very well, we will be waiting. If you are planning to bring your Mobile Suit, contact this number and they will bring it in." The officer finished as he handed Gauto a small card.

The Federation officer and his escorts took their leave as Gauto stared at the card he was given. It was a single-use transportation service card used by a "General Cybernetics Technology" and the destination that was written for this particular transport was Amman. A few minutes later, Gauto exited his home and spotted the officer waiting for him next to a simple Humvee, gesturing him to enter through the door he was holding open. The two enter the vehicle, with the officer closing the door behind him, and the vehicle sped off shortly afterward. Meanwhile, at the front door of the home was an invitation that was for members or guests of the Imperial Guard for something about "BattleFrame demonstrations of the Type-77 or F-4J."

[Moon, Amman]

[Play OST-And Then Time Stops-Detroit: Become Human]

The city of Amman, after its destruction at the hands of the Titans and its subsequent rebuilding, can now be described as a fortress city, with countless members of TERA as well as Homunculus soldiers being just about everywhere. The city was a hive of activity, with soldiers patrolling within their assigned areas and routes, logistical personnel transporting materials and equipment to wherever it was needed, and scientists constantly moving from one building to the next with PDAs in their hands, heading to whatever department needed their specific hands-on experience. Docked within the city's numerous spaceports was a rather sizeable Federation fleet which consisted of six Columbus-class Transport ships, with four of them being Normal-Types and the other two being in the Beehive configuration originally developed for deployment in the Thunderbolt sector, four Antietam-class carriers that have been upgraded with more powerful engines as well as several CIWS emplacements, four Clop-class light cruisers that have been upgraded with additional defensive CIWS emplacements, and twelve Salamis Kai-class light cruisers as well as six Irish-class and four Dogosse Giar-class battleships which have been upgraded with additional Mobile Suit hangar space, all of which were scattered throughout the different spaceports to prevent the entire fleet from being sunk in a single strike in the event of an enemy attack. However, what was most notable about the underground lunar city was the large cube-shaped building in the middle of the city due to the fact that it had a large yard within its center (the design is similar to Border's HQ from World Trigger but a bit smaller in scale). Inside, many scientists were walking in the hallways as they either talked amongst each other or carried files and flash drives around to wherever they were needed.

Higher up in the building on the fourteenth floor, however, were six individuals waiting in a small room which was labeled "Briefing Room #4", which only had three rows of four chairs along with a large screen and an accompanying podium. Inside the room were Ken, Ezekiel, Gauto, Irene, Celaeno, and Chris, with their seating arrangement placing each of the six individuals as far away from each other as possible. Each of them was minding their own business, with Ken being slumped over as he took a nap, idly ignoring Ezekiel who was quietly humming along to the Jazz that was blaring into his ears from his MP3 player's earbuds. Nearby, Gauto was taking slow and deep breaths as he patiently waited in a meditative trance while Irene idly flipped a page in the large novel she was currently reading. Celaeno, meanwhile, was lazing around, seemingly about to fall asleep, and Chris was keeping his calm, patiently waiting while tapping his feet to pass the time.

This was the scene that Koji opened the door and walked in, taking the opportunity to scan the room and its occupants to determine who he would be working alongside. He stopped midway as the smallest individual apparently did a double take upon noticing his arrival and turned towards him, revealing a face that he honestly didn't expect to see. Koji and Irene stared at each other in surprise for a few moments, before the two veterans and members of STRIKE gave respectful nods to each other as he broke the silence.

"So, I assume that I'm the last one to arrive?" Koji questioned the individuals in the room.

"That would be correct." The mature, but robotic-like voice of a woman said as the occupants (Ken woke up) of the room turn to the speaker, who appeared to be around her 40s and was wearing a blue captain uniform that didn't match any of the known Federation uniforms (Captain Uniform used in Gundam AGE) along with having short brown hair that reached down to her neck as well as a pair of green eyes that regarded the seven individuals before her calmly.

[Stop OST]

"Good evening all of you, my name is Karan S'jet. I will be debriefing you on who we are and what our purpose is." She stated from the podium as Koji took a seat.

"As you already know, TERA is a division within Londo Bell that operates to develop new experimental equipment while also taking care of Neo-Zeon Remnants. But in truth, we are also a secret Mage group that was formed to locate the Holy Grail." She started, making Irene look at the woman in shock.

"Wait, the Holy Grail? You mean that relic used in those Holy Grail Wars?" Ken questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Correct, you seemed to be well informed about this," Karan answered with little emotion.

"I did a little research about it before I arrived."

Karan nodded, "Understood. Resuming our current briefing, the Holy Grail was a powerful artifact that was capable of granting wishes; however, during the recorded battle known as the Third Holy Grail War, it suddenly disappeared."

"Disappeared? Aren't there two more known Holy Grail Wars after that one?" Koji asked.

"Correct. But unknown to us at the time, the Grail was replaced with a false one that destroyed a large portion of Fuyuki city and killed hundreds of people. The first time it happened the damage was repairable, but when it happened the second time it couldn't be contained and we were forced to obliterate the city to destroy it." Karan states.

'That explains why no one knows why the city was destroyed in the first place.' Koji thought as he recalled that some of his men were descendants of survivors who were away during that time.

"After the realization that the Grail went missing, we had disbanded and stayed inactive until the Gryps Conflict, where we were originally a Titan's Test Team."

'Disbanded?' Was the thought of everyone else that was currently present.

"To explain, we aren't just a normal group of Mages, we are remnants of two of the three founding families, the Einzberns and Matous," Karan answered as if she read their minds, causing everyone minus Ken, Chris, and Gauto to blink in surprise at the information.

"Two of the three founding families? Then our enemy is…" Koji realized.

"Correct, our enemies are also remnants of the Tohsaka family," Karan confirmed. "Our enemy is known as the Beowulf Corps, or the Onyx Faction if you will, and it's our mission to prevent them from obtaining the Grail."

Ken smirked. "Then that should be easy. I mean, these Holy Grail Wars only have seven Servants, and we can easily take them on with just one or two."

"That's where you're wrong," Karan replied, making Ken raise an eyebrow.

She raised her right hand and pointed a single finger upwards. "First, this isn't a normal Holy Grail War; in a twist of events, fourteen Servants will participate in this war, meaning that while we do have a full set, our enemy will as well."

A second finger went up. "Second, our spies have confirmed that the Tohsakas have managed to incorporate their Jewel Magecraft into their Mobile Suits, which allows their older models to perform on par with current generation Mobile Suits."

"And lastly third, we can't expose ourselves too much during the war, so we have to keep the general public in mind. Who knows what will happen if word about this war got out?" Karan finished with a third finger, making Ken click his tongue in annoyance.

"That concludes the debriefing. If you want out of this war we will grant it, but do note that this may change everything."

Everyone was silent for a few minutes, taking their time to think it over.

It was Ken that answered first. "Fine… I'll join, but only because I'm getting paid for this."

"I'll fight for you, just as long I get to take down these Neo Zeon Remnants," Ezekiel was the second to answer.

"I'm in; if no one stops them, who knows what will happen?" Koji replied.

Irene took a deep breath to steady herself. "I'll fight, but only to defeat the Remnants." She answered, her voice quivering ever so slightly.

"I'll only fight for the safety of my fleet, so I'm in," Celaeno answered.

"I have no choice, but I shall join as well," Chris answered.

Gauto was the last to respond. "I'll fight, but only for my one wish."

Karan nodded in satisfaction and turned to leave the room. "Excellent, if you would follow me, we shall proceed with the Servant Summoning." She opened the door and walked out of the room with the others following her.

[Summoning Room]

[Play OST-Main Menu Theme 2-Overwatch]

The room was divided into two sections, with the first being laid with numerous computers, monitors, and magical devices that were being operated by a group of homunculi, while the second room only had seven human-sized glass containers that were connected to a small terminal. Each container was also equipped with its own set of magic circles on the bottom that were connected to one of the moon's leylines. Karan and the seven Masters arrived as the homunculi continued operating the machines, not minding the newcomers.

"Welcome to the Summoning Room, which is dedicated to summoning the Servants we will fight alongside with during the upcoming war," Karan explained.

"I heard that the summoning of Servants requires a lot of work and proper chanting," Gauto stated.

"Correct, but all you will have to do is perform the chant; the Grail itself takes care of the heavy lifting, while we're here to ensure that everything remains stable during the process while also providing the necessary Prana. We are utilizing a prototype system that will summon a Servant for you, but we're going to need you to choose a catalyst for the summoning first." Karan replied as the door opens to allow two small carts being moved by a pair of Homunculi to enter the room, giving the Masters a look at the catalysts that were available.

"Please choose wisely," She added, not noticing that the smallest occupant in the room had gone stiff at the sight of one of the catalysts.

The two carts were loaded with seven catalysts in total with several different relics of Heroic Spirits during their prime as they ranged from weapons to accessories. Before anyone else could make a move, though, Irene had suddenly darted forward and seized the large purple scythe that rested on the second cart, making the others blink in surprise as they hadn't expected the quietest individual in the group to make such a sudden move with an expression that appeared to be a mix between worry and rage. Ken was the first to shake off his surprise and proceeded to pick a catalyst of his own, which consisted of a well-used Tsuba that had an eye patch tied to it by its string along with the lingering scent of blood. Ezekiel went next as he simply picked out a small Ash Tree that he sensed trace amounts of powerful magical energy emanating from within. Koji regarded the remaining catalysts with a critical eye before coming to a decision and took his own relic, which appeared to have once been a wooden prosthetic arm that had been heavily modified to have numerous compartments for storing hidden weaponry. After Koji was Celaeno, who quickly chose a rather old and rusty antique revolver designed to chamber .41 Long Colt rounds. Chris was the next to choose a relic and his was a piece of the Round Table, but this particular piece had seen better days as it was burnt pitch black and emitted an eerie presence as well as possessing the strong smell of blood on it. The last to choose was Gauto, with his being a piece of one of the Buddhist Scriptures. Once the seven Masters had chosen their catalysts, they proceeded to enter the summoning room where they were instructed to place the catalysts inside the containers. They each did so, but Irene curiously set the scythe to the side and took off her necklace, placing it inside the container to the curiosity of the others. Once the containers were loaded and sealed, the seven Masters placed their right hand on the terminal, causing their Command Seals began to glow.

[Play OST-Avalon-Ace Combat Zero]

"Activating leyline connections and starting up summoning procedure." A female homunculus operator announced as the magical connections started to glow and connect to both the catalyst containers and the magic circles in the seven larger containers, which also began to glow as the summoning arrays activated.

"Activating temporal gate to the Throne of Heroes." A male homunculus operator added in as the catalysts were engulfed by a white light.

"Tracing catalysts to their origins and setting up return path." The light emanating from the catalysts became so bright that the Masters were forced to cover their eyes for a moment.

"Servants signatures identified, activating recall." Each of the orbs opened up a portal, but nothing can be seen from within except for the silhouette of a Servant in each gateway. However, alarms suddenly began to blare as each of the portals started to become distorted.

"Warning! Gates to the Throne of Heroes are destabilizing, attempting to stabilize gateways until summoning is complete!" The male operator reported as he and the other operators attempted to recalibrate the system to stabilize the summoning process. After two minutes of furious typing at their workstations, the alarms ceased and the gates restabilized.

"The gates are stable for now, please begin the chant." The female operator said as the Master's terminals displayed a chant for the summoning ritual. The seven Masters complied and they began to chant at the same time.

"Let diamonds and iron be the essence.

Let blood and the timeless contract be the foundation.

Let Azure be the color I pay tribute to.

Let a blade cut the blue skies as they fall.

Let the forbidden gate be open.

Let the path be paved for the crown until it falls.

Let it be declared now;

your flesh shall stand by me, and my fate shall be your soul.

Answer the beckoning of the Holy Grail.

Answer, if you would submit to this contract and this truth.

An oath shall be sworn here.

We shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven;

We shall have dominion over all evils of all of hell.

We shall transcend over the unknown possibilities."

"Yet you shall serve with your eyes clouded by chaos.

For you would be one caged in madness.

I shall wield your chains." Chris added to his chant, causing the portal in front of him to begin radiating power that reeked of bloodlust.

"Yet not ever remaining with my true love.

Shall the lonely skies light its eternal flame.

Until everything turns to stone." Irene added to her own chant, which caused the portal in front of her to radiate power akin to that of divinity.

"From the Seventh Heaven, attended three great words of power,

come forth from the forbidden gates, protector of the holy balance!

Come forth and hear our souls!" They finished as the portals reverted back into white orbs before everything was enveloped in white light, forcing everyone to cover their eyes.

[Stop OST]

The light dies down allowing everyone to open their eyes and see who had been summoned. There was an abundance of smoke inside the containers, but it was easily blown away by the room's ventilation once the glass slid down to allow the seven Servants to step out of the containers, revealing one masculine form, five feminine forms, and a single form that couldn't be made out due to its black armor as well as the black mist that surrounded it.

The first Servant was a young woman with white skin with silver-like eyes, silver hair that has a long bang on her right side while her back hair was tied up with a special hairpin. She was wearing a custom-made kimono that exposed a bit of cleavage with the main colors being red and blue. Strapped to her waist were four sheaths, each of which held a katana that seemed to radiate an aura of its own color; green, blue, yellow, and red. The second Servant was another woman that was beautiful in her own way as she had pale skin, long purple hair, and eyes that were the color of freshly spilled blood. Her outfit consisted of a full-body, skin-tight suit that highlighted her curvaceous body and included a pair of golden shoulder guards as well as a black veil with golden trim that was adorned on her head. The third Servant was a young pale girl with black hair that was tied into a ponytail by a ribbon and wide bangs covering her yellow eyes. She was wearing something similar to the karakuri dolls of the early Edo period with no sleeves and had a long red scarf over her neck. Her arms and legs, however, were by far the most curious things about her appearance, as their joints were clearly mechanical and the "stockings" and "long-sleeved gloves" were, upon closer inspection, not actually separate clothing articles but were parts of her limbs as well.

The fourth Servant was a rather tall woman with light purple hair running down her back all the way down to her feet with two slim bangs framing her face which failed to conceal her light purple eyes and had the image of what appeared to be a red snake on her forehead. She was wearing a rather exposing black dress with purple trim and was wielding what seemed to be a chain with a dagger attached to its end with her left hand while her right hand was grasping the shaft of the Harpe, which had seemingly teleported from its previous position into her hand during the summoning, along with an obsidian ring adorned with a ruby on her left ring finger. The fifth Servant was a young man with short blond hair and brown eyes. His outfit consisted of something similar to American Wild West outlaws and had a Colt M1877 double-action revolver in the holster on his right hip. The sixth Servant was an imposing and menacing figure whose gender couldn't be immediately identified in full black knight armor, with the helm's visor glowing red and its figure obscured by a black mist. The seventh and final Servant was a woman with brown eyes and long brownish hair reaching past her waist on the back. She was wearing what appeared to be clothing for a monk, but failed to cover anything as there was a clear view of her white undergarments and was wielding a khakkhara.

"Servant Saber, Shinmen Musashi has arrived! Show me something fun and interesting, Master!" The first Servant introduced herself to Ken as he turned away ever so slightly with a blush on his face.

"Servant Lancer, I have arrived from the Land of Shadows. I am Scáthach. I guess I should call you Master?" The second Servant introduced herself to Ezekiel.

"You may, but please, call me Ezekiel." He responded as he extended his right hand for her to shake, in which she does with a small smile.

"Servant Assassin, Katō Danzō, activated. Requesting input, Master. As Danzō is a shinobi, I will obey any command." The third Servant introduced to herself to Koji.

"Standby, it's not the right time for orders right now," Koji said, causing her to nod in understanding and remain silent for the time being.

[Play OST-Forgotten Memories-The Last of Us]

The group turned to the fourth Servant to be summoned, but instead of an introduction, they were met with the petite Master embracing the larger woman, her frame shaking with her silent sobs with the larger woman having kneeled down and returned the hug with her weapons dispelled, whispering softly as she did so.

Scáthach blinked, recognizing the smaller of the two, and her eyes narrowed in suspicion. "Pardon me, but who might you be?"

The purple-haired Servant turned her attention from Irene just long enough to answer the question. "Servant, Rider. Medusa the Gorgon," the Rider answered before turning back to her Master.

The Lancer stared only for a second before closing her eyes, her curiosity satisfied. "So that's how it is."

[Stop OST]

"Lancer...?" Her Master Ezekiel began to question but stopped when Scáthach sent him a look.

"It is something that is not for me to explain," she answered before turning to the rest of the crowd. "I believe that we still have introductions to go through."

"Oh... right," Karan shook off her dumbfounded look and glanced at Chris and his Servant.

Chris got the message and gestured to the figure to introduce itself.

"Shhhuuuu." The fifth Servant introduced himself to his Master as he could only growl.

"Servant Berserker, Lancelot. A fallen knight like me." Chris translated.

The sixth Servant took that as his cue. "Heyo! My name is Billy the Kid! Although I am a new Archer Servant, I think I'll be useful! Nice to meet you." He proclaimed as he introduced himself to Celaeno, who couldn't help but smile.

"Nice to meet you too, I can tell that we are going to get along just fine." She responds as she shakes hands with Billy, who just grinned in response.

"My name is Xuanzang Sanzang! Through the guidance of the Buddha, I have arrived! Umm, I am a Caster!" The seventh and final Servant introduces herself to Gauto while extending out her right hand.

"A monk and a samurai, what an interesting duo." Gauto joked as he returned the gesture and shakes Xuanzang's hand.

With the introductions finished, Karan spoke up. "The Servant Summoning is successful, and it seems that some of the catalysts are still intact. Normally we would dispose of them, but since they took a plethora of resources to obtain, we will kindly ask you to return them under the Servants' consent." Karan states as two of the Masters, Gauto and Chris, proceeded to do so.

Danzō picked up Koji's catalyst and motioned for her Master to hold onto the arm for the time being. He complied with a nod as he reached out and gently took it from her hands and put it away in a bag he was carrying.

"While I don't mind the Tsuba, maybe you can keep it. You know, for good luck?" Musashi said to her Master.

"Ummm… alright," Ken responded quietly with a blush still on his face.

Medusa silently reached out and plucked the necklace out of the container and put it back on her Master's neck where it belonged. Irene's response was to cling to her even more tightly as her soft cries grew slightly more audible, which forced the Servant to pick her up when she went to stand. Although, judging from the content smile on her face as she continued to soothe her Master's sobbing, she didn't seem to mind in the least.

"This Ash Tree will be suitable for creating another spear, but now is not a good time. I'll craft it once there is time to spare," Scáthach said as Ezekiel nodded his head, giving her the catalyst for safekeeping. Taking it in her hands, she conjured a series of Runes that opened a small portal, in which she put the Ash Tree away for later use.

Celaeno was about to return her catalyst when Billy stopped her. "Hold it there, partner. I think that revolver has more use than meets the eye, and it could potentially save your life once it's restored." He states.

"Hmm, with some repairs and modifications, I guess I can make it work" Celaeno responded with a grin.

"I guess you were right about us getting along." He grins too.

She carefully stores the antique in a holster provided by Billy without anyone noticing.

"Now, for the next step," Karan spoke, gesturing back to the containers, "If each Servant will step back into the containers, we can synchronize each of the Servant Cores to your Saint Graphs," The order was enough to make several of the Masters and all seven Servants to raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"What are you up to?" Ezekiel asked the question that was on everyone else's minds.

Even Irene, who had finally calmed down somewhat, was confused by the order.

"This will simply allow us to format the Servants into data so that they can operate your Mobile Suits without the need of a pilot if needed and allow the Suits to utilize their skills and abilities," Karan answered.

The Masters and Servants were surprised at the answer, but Scáthach made her displeasure known as she subtly prepared a series of Runes in her clenched hands. "So, you wish to change ourselves into nothing but pilots for these war machines?" The Queen of Shadows questioned accusingly.

"It's not as inhumane as you think; The system will allow you to utilize your Mobile Suits to your full advantage, but the Cores will also allow a Servant to remain in the world should the worst happen to any of the Masters," Karan reassured. "In addition, we are fully aware that the possibility of engagements on foot is significantly high, so the top priority of their design was placed on the Servant's ability to enter and leave the Servant Cores at will."

Scáthach stared at the woman for no less than a full minute before letting out a barely audible sigh, dispelling the runes which detected no traces of deceit from Karan's words. Taking a breath, she was the first to return to her container, with the other six Servants following her example.

After a moment of thought, Medusa sent her Master a look, one that Irene knew the meaning of all too well; "If anything happens, you know what to do."

The petite Master wiped her eyes and nodded, despite not wanting to go along with this particular procedure due to the risks.

Once the Servants returned to their containers, they closed as the operators began their work. The Servants all closed their eyes as their bodies started to glitch out, and seconds later their bodies started to fall apart into data. Once their bodies were no more, the data was sent into seven different spherical cores, each of which was equipped with a miniature display on the front that showed the symbol for the Servant Class that each core was containing. Once the cores finished registering their respective Servants, the seven Heroic Spirits rematerialized back into the physical world.

Karan nodded to herself, pleased at the results. "Now that that's done, I would like for the Servants and Masters to hold onto their respective cores over the course of the few weeks to allow our engineers to take a look at their parameters and modify your Mobile Suits to best optimize their abilities."

Scáthach, pleased that the Servants haven't been reduced to being mere pilots for their Master's Mobile Suits, was the first to comply as she grabbed her assigned Servant Core from its stand. The other Master and Servant pairs followed her example and claimed their respectively registered cores.

Medusa looked over at Karan, with Irene once again being carried in an embrace. "Since you said that we will have to wait, I assume that you have plans for accommodations?"

Karan's response was to produce seven key cards from one of her uniform's pockets for the Master and Servant pairs to take. "But of course. Each of you will be staying in an assigned room on the 37th floor of this building until the modifications to your machines have been completed."

Medusa nodded in understanding and took one of the key cards, then moved aside to allow the other six pairs to claim a key of their own.

Karan nodded for the last time to them today. "That will be all for now. You will all be contacted once the modifications have been completed, so I would suggest that each Master and Servant pair take the time to learn more about your respective partner for the time being."

The Rider smiled as she rubbed her Master's back soothingly.

Ezekiel gave a nod of approval. "That sounds alright with me."

"If you don't have any questions, then you are dismissed," Karan stated as she gave the group another look over.

The seven pairs took that as their cue to leave and look for their assigned rooms. But as Medusa was walking out of the room she was stopped just outside the doorway by a gesture from Koji.

"Is there a problem?" The purple-haired Servant asked, earning the attention of her Master.

"Not so much a problem as a question," Koji corrected, earning a raised eyebrow from the Rider as she silently gave him a nod to continue. "Irene happens to be an acquaintance of mine as well as a freelance agent for an independent organization that is under my command, and in all of the years I've known her, not once have I seen her break down in such a manner. So I couldn't help but wonder... just what is your relation to her?"

Medusa blinked at the question and turned to her Master, silently asking her for permission. The two looked at each other for at least a minute before Irene gave a small nod.

The Rider turned back to the Master in front of her, only this time with a small smile on her face. "To answer your question... she is my bride."

Koji could only stare in stunned confusion as he watched Medusa walk off with her Master still in her arms.

[Underground Hangar]

[3 Weeks Later]

[Play OST-Royal Military Academy-Valkyria Chronicles II]

Underneath the gigantic base was a huge hangar bay that was currently storing numerous TERA-owned Mobile Suits and machines that engineers and Junior Mobile Suits were currently running maintenance on. Karan and the Masters arrived via a cargo lift, with the Master's reactions of awe varying per individual. Once the lift reached the ground level, the small group headed towards a relatively small area that was labeled "Experimental Division", which was only storing seven Mobile Suits.

"As requested from some of the Masters, we have upgraded your Mobile Suits with current generation technology and have also installed the experimental Noble Phantasm Connectors so that your Mobile Suits can utilize your Servant's trump cards." Karan explained as she began to introduce each of the seven Mobile Suits.

The first unit, oddly enough to a few of the gathered individuals, resembled the Huckebein from the Super Robot Wars series. The head, arms, legs, and body remained more or less the same; however, a sort of dark blue kimono was wrapped around its torso along with two katanas that were hanging on the left side of its hip. The paint scheme of the Mobile Suit utilized white as the base color with red accents on the feet, cockpit covering, chin, and headpiece, while the shoulders, wrists, ankles, and wing stabilizers were all painted a royal blue color, and the cooling vents and iconic v-fin antenna were painted yellow. On the left shoulder is a picture of three claw marks with white devil wings spreading wide (Ken's personal emblem), and the optical sensors were yellow topaz in color.

"The RX-1 'Alpha' Gundam, our prototype Mobile Suit for the Saber-class Servant. Using data from the late White Devil as well as the RX-0 units, we managed to create a special Psycoframe Crystal Core that allows the pilot to create any weapon they can imagine. However, since it's still only in the prototype stage, the drawback is that it will burn through a pilot's Magic Circuits at a breakneck pace as observed through prior testing, so do be mindful when using the machine." Karan explained to Ken.

"A Gundam, huh? I guess I'll keep a positive image of you until later." Ken said with a smirk as Musashi looked up at the unit in excitement.

The second unit bore a resemblance to the modern Jestas used by the TriStar team. The beam rifle is mounted on the back where most beam rifles are mounted. With various thrusters packed behind the legs and in the shoulders for increased maneuverability. On the back of its chest piece are wing binders, on which Fin Funnels were attached, and it also sported the head of the Gundam Gullinbursti. It was painted similar to the Gullinbursti and currently had a pair of halberds in its hands.

"The ORX-013 Gundam Gullinbursti Rinascita, quite an old machine. It took some time, but we managed to upgrade the strength of its frame so that it matches that of the Jesta's, making it capable of going head to head with current generation Mobile Suits. We've installed the Noble Phantasm Connectors to the halberds to allow them to mimic the ability to target the "heart" of enemy Mobile Suits and warships and destroy them." Karan explained to Ezekiel.

"Such a fine treatment to my machine," Ezekiel replied happily as Scáthach regarded the Mobile Suit with a critical eye for a few moments before nodding in approval.

The third unit was a custom redesigned version of a Delta Plus, incorporating elements from the Cherudim SAGA Gundam and the Delta Plus in terms of its body frame, with the exception of the head unit being a hybrid of the Mega-Shiki's head and Optimus Prime's head and face from the first three Bayformer films. Meaning the faceplate is a bit edger similar to Optimus along with Clavicle Antennas resembling the Cherudim's Clavicle Antenna. This doubles as communication receivers that allow it to work in any communication interferences such as Minovsky effects; it can also shield the sensors from external interference like radar and electromagnetic waves. The Shiki retains its Image Directive Encode (IDE) system sensor on the left side of its head and on top of the visor is the Head Mounted Precision Targeting System visor, which is an improved and similar appearance to the RGM-89De Jegan [ECOAS Type]-Conrad. The visor itself is still black but with blue optics behind it. The legs remains the same, except with armor plating covering up the exposed area of the legs to the point it looks like any other EF Mobile Suits or Gundams, attached to the calf of the legs are additional leg boosters similar to the ones on the RX-80PR Pale Rider, it also doubles as a hidden holster for the beam pistols. The armor skirt remains the same, with the side skirts having holsters similar to GM Sniper K9, but slightly smaller. The Forearms of the suit are that of the Mega Shiki but has the two small attachments similar in appearance with the Strike Freedom's MX2200 Beam Shield Generator. The torso has been given more armor for more protection to the cockpit and it is a mixture of both the Delta-Plus and the Cherubim SAGA's torso, and the backpack remains the same for the Command Shiki but the backpack thrusters had been modified to incorporate additional thrusters. Also, the wing binders is that of the Delta-Plus with the empty slot/rack modified to hold rifles The shoulders are a cross between the Delta-Plus's original shoulder, and the Cherubim; meaning the shoulders can be used as a mount to store rifles if needed. Both Shoulders have small shields similar to the Cherudim SAGA's Small Shields. It was painted all black.

"The MSN-001C Command Shiki. For your unit, we were originally going to pull the Hyaku Shiki out of storage, but after the Laplace Conflict there happened to be damaged Delta Plus that was mostly intact and we decided to use that unit instead of the other. While we had to omit its transformation function, it has retained most of its basic frame along with a set of new upgrades that include a modified NITRO System combined with the Biosensor that will enhance your reaction time and slow down your perception of time along with the ability to create a field that will suck targets in at a certain range and trapping them before detonating." Karan explained to Koji.

"Excellent, I guess I'm leaving my Ghost Jegan behind," Koji muttered as Danzō remained silent.

The fourth unit, much to the shock of six of the Masters, was the Sinanju Stein, but with several key differences. For one, the backpack had been replaced with an enlarged modified version of the Sleeves Sinanju's backpack, which featured twelve thrusters instead of six with four in the main unit and four in each of the two wings, which have been enlarged to accommodate the extra thrusters, while also removing the external fuel tanks. The head was that of the Sinanju Stein's with the exception of the purple optical sensors and the inclusion of a V-fin antenna that gave the unit the appearance of a Gundam-type meant to be used as a psychological form of attack against Zeon soldiers. The arms are equipped with hardpoints on the outer forearms that the Phoenix Shields are attached to, and the inner forearms are where the mounts for the Variable Length Chain Nails are located. The shoulders and hips are equipped with thrusters like those of the Neo Zeon variant of the Sinanju, but are shaped more like a rectangle and lack the spikes. The thruster blocks mounted on the sides of the legs are in the same base shape as those on the Neo Zeon variant of the Sinanju but have been enlarged to allow a third thruster to be installed in between them, and the lower rear legs also have an additional thruster installed in them; in addition, the inner legs were also equipped with the enlarged thrusters like those on the outer legs, bringing the number of thrusters on each leg up to eight. It had scarlet as the primary, black as the secondary and golden yellow for the trim; "Sleeves" markings are replaced with yellow and orange flame decals, and the torso replaces the "Sleeves" markings with a scarlet phoenix outlined in gold.

"The MSN-06SP Sinanju Honoo, we were quite surprised that you managed to recover such a unit and upgrade it. It took quite some time to install the proper Noble Phantasm Connectors, but thanks to the experience we gained from modifying the other machines we were able to finish the modifications just two days ago. We managed to install the Variable-Length Chain Nails, the scythe Harpe, and modify the dual optics to be compatible with the Cybele. In addition to this, we've installed a prototype system known as a Pranaframe, which utilizes Prana instead of brainwaves and is meant to be a variant of the Psycoframe meant for Mages. A gift from us." Karan explained to Irene.

"Interesting," Irene responded from her position in Medusa's arms, who upon laying her free hand on the Mobile Suit's foot to gauge its characteristics with her Riding Skill was looking up at the unit with starlit purple eyes and barely restrained glee.

The fifth unit looked to be Frankenstein's Monster of Mobile Suit components. The torso and skirt armor are those of a Blue Destiny unit (unknown which one, exactly, but presumed to be Unit 1's due to the parts bearing that particular machine's colors), slimmed down to allow for a sleeker profile. The left arm and lower legs come from the Psycho Zaku while the backpack comes from a Döven Wolf. The head is originally a Silver Bullet's GM head, with the visor concealing the new monoeye sensor used for the main camera. GM-series parts are used for the rest of the machine's overall frame. It was painted dark blue for the torso and skirt armor, everything else is black with dark blue accents, while the visor (and concealed monoeye in kind) glows a scarlet red.

"The RGMS-06R-2/D Gundam Raven "Desperado". Originally, we had a unit prepped for you, but in order to satisfy your request, we disassembled the unit to install the components into your unit along with making proper tuning and adjustments. For the Noble Phantasm Connector, we modified your unit's handplugs to connect to your Servant's own weapon so that the unit can use any handheld weaponry as the Noble Phantasm. Our engineers were quite surprised that they didn't need much work when they were overhauling it and they request to see how you did it." Karan explained to Celaeno.

"We don't share our secrets," Celaeno responded as Billy looked up at the unit and grinned in approval.

The sixth unit was based on the original MSN-001X Gundam Delta Kai but was equipped with four wing-shaped Fin Funnels instead of the two larger Proto Fin Funnels. The armor had also been remodeled to look more streamlined and sinister, giving it a sort of demonic appearance. The colors were replaced as the blue was now red, white with black, yellow with dark violet, eyes are red, and sensors are purple. On top of the chest armor was the symbol for the Berserker class and on the left shoulder was TERA's emblem.

"The MSN-001XE Gundam Delta Kai Schwartz. Created from a Delta Kai we recovered from Anaheim, we managed to replace the Proto Fin Funnels with 4 wing-shaped Fin Funnels. We've also streamlined the armor and modified the hand plugs to accommodate your Servant's Noble Phantasm, but the unit is still prone to glitching out if that feature is used too much," Karan explained to Chris.

"Nothing to worry about, just defeat the enemy," Chris answered as Lancelot silently stared up at the machine.

The seventh unit seems to resemble the RX-78 Gundam, but, its facial design resembles a Gundam at first, but if you look close enough, you can see the Monoeye of a Zaku and the point the fins intersect. Its shoulders possess the spikes seen on a Zaku. It also has the Zaku's bulk as well, but the bulk is arranged in a way to give it a Gundam like appearance along with a modified Flying Armor as a backpack. It was painted green, white, and red.

"The RXMS-78-06 Zakdam. Our engineers were quite surprised that this unit was one of your failed models and quickly noticed their flaws. We managed to incorporate the Noble Phantasm Connector into the body itself in order for your Servant to utilize its special ability along with adding a Flying Armor so that you can enter a Pseudo-Waverider mode; however, it is not capable of atmospheric entry, so be careful when you are in low Earth orbit," Karan explained to Gauto.

"A fine improvement to my machine," Gauto happily remarked as Xuanzang stared up at the unit in awe.

Now done with the explanations of each individual unit, Karan addressed the group, "If the Servants would enter their assigned Cores and the Masters board their Mobile Suits, we can proceed with the final step. In order for the Mobile Suits to be able to utilize their abilities, the Cores must first be installed. Once the installation is complete, the Servant Link between Master and Servant will be established. Most importantly, they will still be able to enter and leave the Cores at will," Karan states.

The seven Servants proceed to do so, although there was still a little hesitation from Scáthach and Medusa, and the Masters placed them onto a platform with seven indents, with each bearing the symbol of one of the seven classes, in which the Cores perfectly fit into. Once the Cores were placed into their corresponding slots, a long mechanical arm descended from the ceiling and gently grabbed the platform, hauling it up after it got a good grip. Once it reached a sufficient height, a smaller subarm unfolded from the main arm and gently plucked each individual Servant Core and inserted it within a slot built into the back of each of their respective Mobile Suits.

As this was going on, the Masters boarded their respective machines, the task made easier thanks to the Moon's reduced gravity which allowed them to just jump up to the cockpit hatch of their Mobile Suits. Once the loading of the seven Servant Cores was done, the optics of the seven Mobile Suits began to glow in their respective colors and the Masters grunted in slight pain as they felt a sudden surge of information coming into their brains as their Magic Circuits activated. Seconds later, the pain died down as the magic circuits faded back into their dormant state. The Masters felt connected to their machine now as they decided to see if their Servants were there.

"Sooo… Musashi? How does it feel in this machine?" Ken awkwardly asked.

"Whoa! This is amazing! It's like wearing new armor for the first time!" Musashi excitedly said as one of the control handles began to move on its own.

"Scáthach, how does it feel?" Ezekiel asks.

"Not how I expected. I thought that I would be trapped in here, but I can still freely roam around." Scáthach remarked, pleased at this discovery.

"Danzō, are you alright?" Koji asked.

"Danzō is fine, this is nothing. Danzō is used to this," She answered automatically, causing Koji to frown in slight worry.

"Can you hear me, Medusa?" Irene asked.

"I can. Using this machine is nothing compared to my A Riding Skill." Medusa boasted as Irene smiled brightly in response, having easily picked up on the glee that the Rider was trying to hide.

"How does it feel using this unit, Billy?" Celaeno asked.

"Well… It's a rather new experience, but I think I'm going to need a drink after this," Billy responded, making Celaeno silently laugh.

"Lancelot… How do you feel?" Chris asked.

"Aaaaaa….." Lancelot growled his reply.

"Xuanzang, how is it like being in this machine?" Gauto asked.

"Wow! It's like reaching enlightenment! Truly a gift from Buddha!" Xuanzang exclaimed in awe, making Gauto chuckle in response.

"Excellent, the Servant links have been established. Now if the Masters and Servants would follow the designated path to the ship, it is almost time to deploy," Karan said as their screens depicted a path for them to follow, which led to a gigantic doorway big enough for Mobile Suits to enter that was now opening. Once it was opened, the Masters directed their Mobile Suits to walk along the path.

[Play OST-Mothership Launch (Kushan)-Homeworld] (I mean, what other song was I going to use?)

After two minutes of walking, the Mobile Suits exited the tunnel and entered a large cavernous hangar. Looking upward, they were all surprised at what was being built here.

Its general shape was undoubtedly that of a Pegasus-class assault carrier, but it used several pieces of its other sisters as it uses the Blanc Rival as the body for the ship as it was equipped with a total of 30 triple-barreled Anti-Air machine guns turrets placed on the front, underside, sides, the back, and top with 6 on each of them. The ball-like sockets make room for a pair modified double-barreled Mega Particle Cannons that can rotate 360 degrees if needed. There are also Mobile Suit sized slots placed around the ship with 3 on each section for defensive MS teams along with the addition of 2 30-tube missile launchers on the outer sides of the engines. The pads on top were converted into MS hangar bays that open up to shoot the MS upwards while still being a landing pad with the frontal launch bays being equipped with modified I-Field generators that protect the unit as it launches and a launch bay behind and between the engines. The wings have the ability to fold inwards if needed, but these wings can be used for ramming by their slimmer and sharper front. The ship uses containers seen on the Spartan on the frontal top and on top of the corners of the engine. Extra rudder wings from the Albion were placed on the engines for stabilizing and the addition of twin-barreled secondary gun turrets on the front. The bridge also carries from the Albion with the ability to dive to a lower compartment if needed with a sub-bridge on the back. Main gun turrets were placed on the outer sides of the frontal and engine part of the side with 1 on each side. For the last pieces of armaments, it has double-barreled laser gun turrets placed on blindsides of the Anti-Air machine gun turrets with 2 on each compartment along with a modified Hyper Mega Particle Cannon on the front of the main body. Around the body of the ship are smokes and flare dischargers along with defensive shields on the pads. It was painted azure with secondary colors being grey and yellow and the lights are white. Several GM Rangers and GD Commands were being loaded into this carrier with 2 minimum sized companies of combat Homunculus following as a large block container was being inserted through the back.

"May I present you the MSC-013EX Terra Nova, our flagship for this upcoming war," Karan said as her image appeared on their screens.

"A Pegasus-class… and to think that this line of ships was gone forever," Koji said in shock at the ship he was seeing.

"It's been a long time since I've seen one in action, that's for sure," Irene added her own thoughts as she stared at the ship in amazement.

Upon hearing her voice, Koji couldn't help but frown ever so slightly. During the weeks that it took to upgrade the units, he had run an extensive background check on the freelance agent under his employ with the hint that her Rider-class Servant had dropped, as well as all of the myths regarding the youngest of the Gorgon sisters.

What he had found surprised him, but it had also answered several questions that he had regarding her apparent lack of background information on the civilian networks before the outbreak of the One Year War as well as her breakdown in the summoning chamber. His curiosity driven by this new information, he had sought her out in order to learn more about the girl.

The following conversations hadn't been pleasant to hear about. From her guilt of not being able to help her family when they needed her the most to her rampage across ancient Greece and being caught in Sydney when the first colony dropped, Irene's life had been the complete opposite of a pleasure cruise, and had actually made him thankful of his own mortality.

He snapped out of his musings as Karan spoke up again. "This isn't some normal warship; it's been heavily modified to accommodate some of our greatest Magecraft technology and serves as a mobile factory without the need to resupply. I will be controlling this ship as the captain." The woman explained, making some of the Masters raise eyebrows at how she worded it.

"Control? What do you mean? Shouldn't it be commanding?" Ken questioned.

"No, what you are seeing of me is nothing more than a hologram of my original human body. My real body was modified to control the Terra Nova and act as its pilot." Karan answered as her image started to flicker, revealing it to be a hologram.

"Why?" Gauto asked.

"For the sake of recovering the Holy Grail, sacrifices must be made; I volunteered for this experiment as I designed it myself. Sooner or later, we must lose something to gain another, and for me, I lost my movement and body for control of this ship." Karan responded as she fully disappeared.

Inside the bridge, Karan rematerializes into the captain's chair as human and homunculi crewmen were operating their stations. Several holographic screens and monitors appear in front of Karan as she began to start every system on the ship and began prepping it for takeoff. Pulling up another screen, she watched as the last of the seven Masters' Mobile Suits boarded the ship and be locked into place in its designated berth. Once she confirmed that all of the ship's Mobile Suits were secured and that the ship's secondary reactors were online and running, Karan executed the command to disconnect the wires that had kept the Terra Nova connected to the base's power supply and release the clamps that had held the vessel in place while engineers and Junior Mobile Suits were clearing the takeoff zone. The roof of the hangar opened up as the Terra Nova began its ascent. As the ship exited the large base, the armored hatches of the spaceports had already opened to allow the scattered ships of the housed fleet to depart. Five minutes later, the fleet had formed up over the city with the Terra Nova serving as the flagship, ready to undergo her shakedown cruise.

"All systems calibrated and green, engaging the main reactor. Terra Nova, launching." Karan stated as the screens and monitors all disappear.

The main engines ignite as it pushes the ship forward, leading the fleet to its destination.

All of this was being watched by the cloaked man from afar as behind him was a Mobile Suit, but the shape was unrecognizable from the distance. He pulls out his pocket watch as it opens, showing a countdown instead as it seems that it was reaching its end. The countdown finishes as nothing happens as the cloaked man just sighs in relief.

"Looks like this one was averted, but it's still an unknown forward, we can only make out what was experienced, but everything else, we'll have to find out." He stated as he boards his Mobile Suit as it stands up, showing a sky blue visor as it suddenly vanishes without a trace similar to a Servant entering their spiritual form.

[Getting me all upset] The Alpha Gundam dives down as it pulls out its MS katana.

[I just wanna be free] The other Master's Mobile Suits were also seen diving in.

[I couldn't!] They all look at each other and nod as they pull out their signature weapons.

[Truth that I have been hiding, it's] On the ground, a group of Geara Echoes were shooting at them with machine guns as Alpha Gundam turns to see Gullinbursti, Command Shiki, and Sinanju Honoo dropping in too as they pull out their signature weapons as the Alpha puts its katanas in a X pose as it prepares to strike.

[So hard to see] Alpha lands as it slices off the arms of 2 Geara Echoes as it spins around to deliver the final blows to the cockpits as it sheathes its weapons.

[You've been] Gullinbursti and Command Shiki land and charge at the enemy as they past Alpha.

[Getting me all upset] Gullinbursti elegantly dodges the Geara Echoes attacks as it stabs 2 of them with its halberds before taking a third one down with both of them.

[I have fallen too far!] Command Shiki uses its SC-20K M.A.W.S. to shoot apart a Geara Echo as it takes down another one by sliding by it and switching to launcher mode.

[I couldn't grow the way I've been wanting] Geara Phantoms arrive as they lay down suppressive fire on the 3 attackers, but fail to notice Sinanju Honoo coming in from above.

[You] A Geara Phantom notices the inbound unit, but it was too as Sinanju Honoo preps its twin VLCN.

[Know who you are!] Cuts to a slow motion frame of Sinanju Honoo swinging 2 Gera Phantoms with the chain nails as they crash into the other enemies.

[We're all] Scene transitions to space as Desperado, Delta Kai Schwartz, and the Zakdam flying out of Terra Nova as they move in to engage the enemy.

[Amazing trees] Closes in on Desperado as it fires its Thunderer at what seemed to be deformed Mobile Suits as the rounds penetrate and detonate them from inside.

[Reaching up to the stars] Delta Kai Schwartz charges in as it uses a beam javelin from one of the deformed Mobile Suits as it wreaks havoc againist them as the other two Master's MS follow it.

[Through we're no longer children they sing] The Zakdam clears the path as it swings down its beam axe on one of the deformed Mobile Suits while also firing a rocket shell at another one as the shot creates smoke that covers the screen.

[In our hearts] Smoke clears to show all 7 of the Master's Mobile Suits all damaged as they raise their weapons.

[We know] They all charge in at the unknown.

[The time that's passing] Camera focuses in on the unknown as while it was only a silhouette, it did give the shape of a Gundam-type as an upside down T visor had red lines glowing around it as it raises a sword.

[Is not everlasting] Alpha and Gullinbursti use their melee weapons as the unknown simply grabs Gullinbursti's head and throws the unit off the screen as it also parries Alpha's strike along with the Zakdam as it tried to make a surprise attack as both of them are also thrown off the screen.

[Stop telling yourself] Command Shiki provides suppressing fire as the unknown moves out of the shots, but notices the VLCN coming at it as the unit slices them apart, forcing Sinanju Honoo to pull out its Harpe.

[The lies] Delta Kai Schwartz wildly swings at the unknown, but they were dodged easily as the unknown kicks the unit away as in a quick second, a shot from the Desperado's Thunderer was deflected.

[I wanna change] The unknown then has its sword covered in a black light as it raises the weapon above its head and swings it down, launching a large beam that engulfs the screen.

[Cut music] Screen clears up to show the cloaked man standing on the edge of the cliff as he scoffs and walks away, disappearing in blue particles.
