(ROSALIE'S P.O.V)

"What's wrong?" I asked Bella worried. She's paled, her body is shaking and I can see the shock, curiosity but mostly fear and hurt on those beautiful brown eyes of my human mate.

"Bella say something, please." I begged. My tone full of worry and concern for her. Bella hearing this looked at me briefly and back to those strangers at our school gate.

"Ri-riley" If Bella didn't explained to me who's this Riley boy before, I will think Riley was his ex boyfriend by the way she uttered his name with such longing. But I understand Bella. Riley is her closest human friend in Phoenix. The only human who stuck with her through good and bad times. The one she haven't seen since the James incident. It surprise me to see him now, but what surprised me most is the Riley who's standing not far away from us ISN'T human. And when I thought that was the most surprising revelation, then Bella proved me wrong when she uttered the name I despise the most next to James.

"Bree" it was her. The human girl who hurt Bella emotionally. The culprit of spreadings untrue rumors at their school. The one who hated Bella for being close to Riley. A friend of Bella. Or at least she was once her friend.

A low angry growl escaped my lips. Suddenly everything just fade and all I can see is red And the human girl. How easy it is to bite her neck and drain her dead? But no, no that wasn't enough. She needs to suffer! She needs to feel what Bella had gone through! This little bitch has to pay for hurting my precious mate! Her scream, her cry for mercy, I want to hear it. The plan was beginning to form in my head. The things I will do to her. She won't be able to escape it. I will break her!

(ALICE' P.O.V)

I felt relieve and disappointed at the same time. I thought for sure I'm going to meet my mate today. When I saw the two strangers at the school gate, I thought the human girl is my mate. My vision was blurred but I know this is the exact place where my mate and I will meet. So when I saw the human girl with a vampire boy, I immediately suspected that she is my mate.

I was wrong.

Though I was disappointed, I was also relieved. Why? Because this human girl is the girl who hurt Bella in Phoenix. The very same girl that my sister Rosalie hated and despised. So thank goodness she isn't my mate!

I'm still looking to the two strangers when a vision hit me. As soon as the vision ended, I ran as fast as a human can to go to Rosalie and Bella's direction. Rosalie is looking at Bree eerily, I know what's in her head. I saw it in my vision. I shuddered thinking about it. Rosalie won't kill the human. She's going to make her suffer, she's going to torture her until she's broken. But she won't kill the human. She will let Bree live in fear, in terror.

When I got to them, Rosalie is shaking, she's itching to attack Bree. The only thing that stopping her is Bella's tight grip to Rosalie's hand. Bella tried to talk to her but my sister is so lost to her thought. Bella's worried eyes met mine.

"Don't be mad at me but I need to do this." I said and without waiting for her reply I turn my attention to Rosalie then…

Slap!

(ROSALIE'S P.O.V)

'Ouch, that hurts damn it!' I'm still lost at my thoughts when suddenly I felt someone slap me square in my face. I cover my cheek when I realized we are in a public place. Humans can't see my face, they would be suspicious. I scowl. Who the hell dared to slap me?

"Hey, are you okay?" Bella looked at me with so much concern. Her hands found mine that covered my cheeks. "I was so worried, you were shaking and growling and you're not responding when I called you several times."

"Sorry I slapped you. Just like Bella had said, you weren't responding so I thought slapping you will wake you from your stupor and it did.'' Alice said smiling but I can see the worry she's trying but failed to hide. Since when Alice get here anyway? I hadn't noticed. The last thing I remember was that we are supposed to meet Alice halfway when Bella stiffened beside me. I followed her gaze and saw two strange- wait, Riley and Bree… where are they? I look around frantically looking for them but came up nothing.

"Where are they?" I asked out loud. Bella and Alice looked at school gate where the two strangers stood awhile ago but alas they aren't there.

"I guess they left already." Bella said unsure. "What do you think they are doing here?"

"I don't know, lil sis. But Riley's scent smelt familiar." my brow shot up in amusement at the mention of 'lil sis' I guess Jasper succeeded at convincing Alice to call my mate lil sis instead of baby sister like Emmet and her insisted the night before.

"The scent at the forest where we fought Victoria. It was his. It's him that saved Victoria." I answered Alice' suspicion. It was his. I'm sure of it. But why would Riley helped Victoria? What's his relation to that redhead bitch? I sighed. Maybe Jane know something though I doubt it.

"Hmm so Riley's not a friend then? Oh well, we can discuss that later with the whole family. For now we have class to attend to. Let's go, sissy." said my sister as she grab Bella's hands pulling her to their first class while I followed them scowling to those nosey human on the way that watching us.

(ALICE' P.O.V)

Morning classes ended smoothly. Nothing interesting nor exciting happened except I heard a growing rumor about me slapping Rose. It was funny to say the least how the news traveled so fast. No one of course knew the real reason behind the slapping scene but rumor is rumor. They don't care whether it was real or not. And so they began to formulate different reasons why I slapped Rose. I laughed quietly and with the shake of my head, I stood up, gathered my things and left. It's lunch break. Bella and my siblings are surely waiting for me already at the canteen.

And I was right. By the time I made it to the canteen, everyone including Bella were already seated at our usual table. I did not bother to get food of my own instead I went straight to our table with a wide smile. I seated next to Rosalie who sent me her usual tiny but beautiful smile.

"Hey guys, have you heard the rumors?"

"Alice, unless you forgot we are vampire. We can hear everything even we don't want to." Edward said with an eye roll. Geez, his gayness is showing.

"Riiight. What about you, Bella?" I asked turning my whole attention to my soon to be little sister.

"Ugh don't remind me. Jessica and Lauren had been bugging me the whole morning just to get details. They even sat beside me in the class!"

And that was the start of conversation. The guys having no idea what transpired this morning was a bit lost at first but soon caught up at the topic when Bella explained to them everything. Including her past with the two stranger. I knew about it already, in fact, I knew it before Rosalie did. When Bella decided that she'll tell Rosalie her past, I was also hit by a vision of what exactly Bella will tell her. It was a sad story but I can't help but smile when the vision ended.

At my vision before it ended, it showed the two women sharing a sweet kiss.

They are so in love back then. And looking at them now, they still are. If anything, they are more in love now. Seeing them made me more excited to meet my own mate. I can't wait to see her.

"Alice" I heard Bella calling me interrupting me from my thoughts. When I look up, I saw Rosalie and Bella standing, waiting for me expectantly. "We should head to our next class or we'll be late."

"Oh okay. Let's go." I said a little too cheerfully earning a quizzical look both from Bella and Rose which I only shrugged.

Afternoon class ended without me noticing it. Maybe because my mind can't stop thinking about my mate. I can't even remember what did we do in every class because I'm too busy daydreaming. I tried to look into her future but all I can see is blurred images. It worried me. For all I know my power works to anyone. Human or vampires. The only exception are the shape shifters. More reason why I'm worried. Shape shifters are dangerous, well not everyone but mostly. Maybe my mate is in La Push where all shape shifters live? Probably. It's the only thing I can think of why my gift doesn't work on her. Maybe she was surrounded by those dogs.

I am now again at the same place where I stood this morning. Again, waiting for Rosalie and Bella. The guys had already left to hunt before going back to house since Bella will be staying a bit longer to the house to discuss about the unexpected visit of Bree and Riley at school this morning. I look around to look for my sisters and saw them walking at the hallway. Bella waved at me with bright smile and suddenly her eyes went wide in surprise as she look past at me. It was like a dejavu. I swear I saw it happened already. And when Bella utter her name at the same time I looked behind me. It was confirm. Yes I already seen this scene.

In my vision of meeting my mate. At the gate. Standing confidently with a smile or rather smirk on their faces is a boy, a young shape shifter and a woman. A very beautiful woman I ever saw my entire vampire life.

"L-leah?"
