Donnie could hardly count how long they've been at this, this... what the turtle could only describe as purgatory. Whatever it was that hit their world in a blast, it had destroyed everything they known. The turtles are forced to navigate a broken world, making difficult and painful decisions just for survival. It doesn't take much to keep to a solid schedule —at least, according to Donatello. So when April starts to fall wayside to their usual routine, his expectations of their friendship start to come into question. And questions can be problematic…especially when you don't like the answers. (ROTTMNT)

This is somewhat of an AU, somewhat of a rewriting after the episode Mutation Station. There will be Karai x Leo moments, many Donnie x April moments AND a few Original Characters to really fill out this world. This is a 2012 TMNT fanfic. Feel free to give feedback on this over ten year old fanfic I am finally writing out for others to consume. This is going to be a long story fyi.
