Lockwood Manor, South California
'MAISIE! WHERE ARE YOU!' Owen Grady shouted as he combed the new manor, looking for his daughter. He had just received an email from his fiancee Claire, about a rather intriguing - yet concerning- offer made to their daughter, but the problem, currently, is locating her.
'Maisie, I swear, if you don't show up within the next minute, I will throw-' Owen began, before a cough interrupted his threat. He turned around to see Maisie, arms crossed as she entered the house.
'Well, what is with the racket Dad?' She asked. Owen took a deep breath to stop himself from exploding before he faced her. 'Where have you been?' He demanded.
Maisie sighed as she went out and took in a considerably large cage. 'It's Draco. He's been feeling under the weather lately, the vet said he may pass away tomorrow.' She said as she unlocked the door and out came a American Alligator, who slowly crawled away.
'I guess you're going to miss him then? After all, you were the one who found him back in Indonesia. I still remember you shouting that you were going to jump off your balcony when Mom said you couldn't keep him.' Owen chuckled, before Maisie turned back to him. 'Anyways, what was with the racket?'
Owen hesitated. 'So... I guess you remember what happened thirteen years ago?'
Maisie rolled her eyes. 'Dad, who doesn't? After all, it's what brought us together.' She said, as she opened the fridge and took out a piece of raw carp, which she put out in the garden.
'Then do you remember that a year ago, your mother, as head of the DPG, was contacted by this James Beavers person?' Owen continued. Maisie smiled.
'Who wouldn't remember? He was the funniest guy I ever met. If I recall, wasn't he also a dinosaur enthusiast and claimed to have made this new dinosaur sanctuary?' She recalled.
'Well, that's the issue. He did, and now he wants you.'
"Well I-wait, come again?"

'Ms. Dearing, today's ratings?' The brown haired CEO asked as they waited for the lift. Claire quickly flipped her finger across the touchpad.
'Entertainment ratings are at 92.5%, while ACU hasn't suffered any major damages for three months straight.' She reported.
'How are the dinosaurs?' He continued, picking up a Pterodactylus model and casually playing with it. Claire, on the other hand, quickly flicked the touchpad.
'Currently, no severe injuries made. They also show ratings above their environmental and social needs-' She began, before James cut in.
'May I, Claire? You are beginning to resemble yourself thirteen tears ago.' He said, putting down the model. 'I helped found this place so we can learn from our past mistakes, not repeat them.' He added as Claire quickly recomposed herself.
'I'm sorry Mr. Beavers, but I don't want what happened on Jurassic World to repeat here.' She replied, just as she got a message on her touchpad. 'Oh, and my daughter just said she would like to accept your offer.' She added. James raised an eyebrow.
'Tell her I'll personally come to pick her up tomorrow. Also, notify Dr. Sorkins that I'll want a report on Project Ares by this week.' He finished before the doors opened.
'I thought you hadn't acquired your license yet.' Claire noted. James smiled.
'I got it last month, where do you think I've been going for the past nights?' He replied as he hit a button and the doors closed.
