Morty over heard Summer and his dad talking on the counter while getting a snack in the kitchen "you should totally take mom to that valentines beach party! It will be so romantic!" Summer said. "I dunno, Summer…your mom is still mad at me for canceling our lunch date to vacuum the neighbors lawn…" Jerry said. Summer rolled her eyes "then make it up to her by surprising her! Duh doi!" Summer said. A beach party…what a great opportunity for Morty to socialize since he is a loner and it will be fun too Morty smiled. "H-Hey um, dad. C-can you drive me to this beach party?" Morty asked. "Ugh Morty, don't eavesdrop into people's conversations, it's rude" Summer said. Morty sighed "I wasn't eavesdropping, Summer. I just overheard" Morty said in an annoyed tone. "Why do you wanna go anyway?" Jerry asked curiously "I mean your single and you'll be the only one without a valentine" Jerry said "we'll I just think it'll be fun a-and mabye I can make new friends" Morty said "okay, Morty I'll drive you" Jerry said.

Wendy was sitting at a table in the guild talking to Carla who was sitting on top of the table. "So, Carla" Wendy said "I was wondering…" she says taping her pointer fingers together looking down smiling sheepishly "do you think I will get a boyfriend anytime soon?" She asks excitedly. "Child! You are far too young to be worrying about that" Carla says sternly. Happy comes up to Carla "hey, Carla!" Happy says charmingly "what do you want, Tom cat?" Carla huffs. "Carla!" Wendy says frowning "be nice!" "Well…I was wondering…" Happy says "would you like to go to a valentines beach party with me?" Happy asks hopefully. A beach party? That sounds like fun! Wendy thought. Carla sighs softly "sorry, Tom cat but we're not a couple so I'm gonna have to say no." "Oh…okay…" Happy says dejectedly and droopy flying away. "Carla, you hurt Happy's feelings…" Wendy said feeling sympathetic. "Imagine dating someone who's not even your boyfriend?" Carla asks. "I'm gonna go to that beach party! It sounds exciting!" Wendy says enthusiastically. "Well have fun, child" Carla says.
At the beach party*
"Thanks for flying me here, Carla" Wendy says in a Bikini waving goodbye to Carla as she flies away. Wendy walks around a little anxious and she bumps into someone. "I'm so sorry!" Wendy shouts getting up to her feet and raising her hand offering to help up the brunette boy she ran into. Morty looks up at the long blue haired girl in a bikini. She looked really beautiful…Morty just stared at her blushing. "Umm, are you okay?" Wendy asked concerned. "Uh, y-yeah. Just-Just dozing off" Morty said taking her hand. Wendy grabbled her arm nervously looking away, Morty can tell she was overwhelmed and who could blame her? He was too. "B-Big party, huh?" Morty asked. Wendy nodded "yeah…it's kind of overwhelming…" Wendy said. "I know…I'm overwhelmed too…" Morty said. Wendy glanced at him "what's uh, what's your name?" morty asked awkwardly. "Wendy" Wendy said shaking Morty's hand "I'm-I'm Morty" Morty says. They smiled at each other knowing that they are pretty a like. They spent the rest of their time having fun together, dancing and chilling at a table drinking milk shakes and laughing, At night the we're sitting near the shore with fire works above them looking at the twinkling stars in the night sky. Wendy rested her head on Morty's shoulder closing her eyes smiling and whispered softly "I love you." Morty was stunned and Wendy stood dead in her tracks realized what she just said. Wendy leaped back blushing and panicked "I…Uhh…s-sorry!" Wendy was so embarrassed. Morty smiled sheepishly and kissed her. "I love you too" Morty said softly. Wendy smiled tears of joy running down her cheeks. Morty sat behind her with his legs between her and arms around her. They sat there watching the night sky and fireworks above them. They both we're meant for each other.
