As Byleth walked into the classroom, he glanced around to see that all of his students were there. He had plans to work on strengthening his student's skills with their primary weapon today. Especially Ignatz, who was falling behind a little. As he got his students started on some basic bookwork, Byleth called up Ignatz.
"Professor?"
Gesturing, Byleth lead him outside to the archery range, where he spent another minutes correcting Ignatz's form and helping him practice. He did exceptional this time, but not perfectly. Leaving Ignatz to start his classwork in tactics, Blyeth went to the front of the class to start student consultations. Dimitri requested for lessons more concentrated in his lance skills, as he had been training on horseback for the last three weeks, and Byleth granted him permission. He advised Annete to go see Lysidia for help making a complicated cake when she asked him for help, as his specialty was not cooking. Then Dedue came up to him.
"Professor, if you don't mind, can you go to the greenhouse and get the plants that have grown in my patch?"
Byleth nodded, and after making sure everything was alright with his students, he walked briskly to the greenhouse, talking to Dorthea about a missing handkerchief, and Lorenz about a tea party. After he collected the plants, he went to go find Dedue, who had moved to the training arena, and he handed over the plants. A quick visit to the grave for Jeralt and his mother, then a trip up to Rhea's office to receive the next mission.
After, Byleth went to the church to check the advice box and return Ashe's book of heroes that had been found in the cafe. Then he went down to the market and had the blacksmith fix several bows and lances that had broken. The last thing on his agenda was to hire a new battalion for Mercedes, which would improve the range of healing she would be able to do. After making another pass of the Monastery, Byleth was satisfied that today was a job well done.
