Chapter 10: A Duel to Remember (Leo)
Leo groaned as he awoke from the sunlight beaming into his face, his body sprawled in a pile of trash with his runner on its side. "Unngh..." He groaned as he sat up, looking around before he struggled to stand. "Where... am I?" He wondered, standing alone in a alley as he made his way towards his runner. "Is this... mine?" He asked aloud, soon jumping as a familiar voice called to him.
"Leo! There you are!" Yusei said with relief as he rode up to the boy, only to get a odd head tilt in response. "Leo? Who's Leo? Are you talking to me, sir?" Yusei blinked, frowning a bit.
"Come on, Leo. You know who you are. Where's Rua at?" Yusei asked, looking around before Leo shook his head.
"I don't know... Am I Leo...?" He said, holding his head a bit before Yusei noticed the runner and the mess of trash cans.
Oh boy... Yusei thought, "Did you crash?" He mumbled before he came to a conclusion, debating how to go about this. "Leo. That is your name. I think you crashed while escaping Sector Security. That must have knocked some of your memories out." Leo looked up at the older male with a quizzical look.
Yusei sighed, wondering how he could jog his little brother's memories before a idea popped into his head. "Leo, do you know how to ride that runner?" He asked, the boy looking at the runner before standing it up and and mounting it.
"I think so..." He said, starting up the runner after retrieving his helmet.
"Good, because we're going to duel." Leo blinked at Yusei, wondering the purpose of doing so. "Why?"
"Because it'll jog your memories. And it'll be like the old days." Yusei said before recalling Jack... He shook it off as Leo nodded, a bit uncertain.
"If you say so. What's your name, mister?" Leo asked, Yusei smiling and revving his own runner.
"I'm your big brother, Yusei." He said with a warm smile that made Leo feel... safe, as if he always knew he could trust this man. The boy nods with a smile of his own before the two line up. "You ready?" Leo gives a nod, Yusei setting up the Speed World spell. Duel Mode engaged. Auto-pilot standing by.
Leo watched as a black disk of energy appeared before him, "Wow..." Yusei chuckled as he remembered making those runners for the twins, the excited looks on their faces with how advanced it was. Leo soon concentrated on his brother, awaiting the go ahead for them to start. "Get ready, I'm not holding back!"
With that, the two sped off, the pair drawing as Yusei pulled ahead to start off, "Duel!"

"I'll start off Leo! And I'll do that with my Sonic Chick in defense mode!" A small pink chick in red shoes appeared by Yusei, covering its head.

"Next I'll set a card face down to wrap up my turn." (Hand: 4) Leo felt a bit of familiarity with the small pink monster, his head aching for a bit in a attempt to remember before he shook it off and focused.
"My turn!" Leo called out as he drew, glancing a the card in his hand.

"Because you control a monster and I don't, I can Special Summon my Cyber Dragon in attack mode from my hand!" A large mechanical dragon soon appeared by Leo, roaring loudly.

"Now I attack your Sonic Chick! Go Cyber Dragon!" The metal dragon roars before charging at the comically scared bird, firing a laser at it. Yusei grinned as he was engulfed in a explosion, soon emerging from it with his Sonic Chick unharmed. "Wait, What?" Leo asked confused, soon holding his head...
"But I destroyed your bird! That's cheating!" A 8-year old Leo stomped before teen Yusei chuckled, "Yeah, but my Sonic Chick's effect prevents it from being destroyed by a monster with more than 1900 attack."
Yusei smirked, "My Sonic Chick can't be destroyed by you Cyber dragon. Try again Leo." The boy huffed before checking his hand. "I'll fix that..." He said, "So, I summon my Morphtronic Staplen in Defense mode!" He shouted, a giant stapler soon appearing by his Cyber Dragon.

"I'll end my turn with a face-face down." Leo said, seemingly having fun, though he was confused why dueling this man had that effect. (Hand: 3)
"OK, my move!" Yusei said, drawing and looking at his card.

"First, I play Graceful Charity! This allows me to draw three cards, but I must discard two!" He smirked as he drew his cards, Leo feeling something bad was about to happen in a sec as Yusei sent his two cards to the grave. "Next, I summon my Junk Synchron!" A small little monster wearing a scarf appeared.

Leo begun to sweat as Yusei continued, " And since I control a Tuner, I can Special Summon my Quillbolt Hedgehog from my graveyard!" A small hedgehog with bolts coming out of its back soon appeared.

Leo held his head again, another memory flashing in his head...
"Now I tune my Quillbolt Hedgehog with my Junk Synchron to Synchro Summon my Junk Warrior!" Teen Yusei call out, the small teal-haired boy whimpering at the flash before him.
"Now I Synchro Summon... Junk Warrior!" Yusei called as his two monster vanished in a bright light, soon reappearing as a new monster: a warrior with jets on his back with a scarf and a huge metallic fist.

"I... Remember that monster..." Leo said, holding his head as Yusei grinned, "Good, then you'l remember this! Junk Warrior attacks Cyber Dragon! Use Scrap Fist!" Junk Warrior flew high before falling down to strike Cyber Dragon with his powerful fist. Leo had to cover his face as he looked to see his Dragon gone.
"I activate Defense Draw! I take no damage from the battle and I get to draw a card." Leo said, drawing a card. Yusei chuckled, "Then I end my turn with one face down." (Hand: 3)
"My draw!" Leo shouted as he drew, looking at his card.

"First, since I control a Morphtronic, I can Special Summon my CyberMorph Dragon Smelt by banishing a Cyber Dragon from my hand in defense mode!" A metallic dragon appeared behind Leo, a red orb on its chest.

"Next, I switch my Morphtronic Staplen into attack mode, thus activating his effect! When in attack mode, I can switch the position of two of your monsters. So now I switch Sonic Chick to attack and Junk Warrior to defense!" Yusei watched Staplen fire staples to switch his monsters, "Nice move, Leo." He commented, the boy feeling pride before another memory flashed in his head.
"I now tune my Morphtronic Scopen with my Morphtronic Staplen to summon..."
"My ace, Power Tool Dragon!" Leo shouted, Yusei grinning wide as the two Morphtronics vanished in a bright light, soon dissipating to reveal a mechanical dragon with a screwdriver and bulldozer for its arms.

"There we go. Good to have you back Leo." Yusei said, the boy grinning, "Good to be back bro. Though, you may have to hold off the reunion until I win!" This got a laugh out of Yusei. "Now, Power Tool! Attack Junk Warrior!" Power Tool rushed towards the defending monster, slamming its bulldozer over Junk warrior's head and crushing it. Yusei chuckled as Leo continued. "Now, my CyberMorph Dragon Smelt will attack your Sonic Chick!" The machine roared as it unleashed searing flames on the poor chick, "And no effect can save that chicken this time." [Yusei: 4000-3300]
"Well, that was rude. But you still won't win." Yusei said confidently. Leo chuckled in response. "We'll see. I win next round." He said confidently before ending his turn. (Hand: 1)
Yusei drew, chuckling.

"I think I'm good." He said, confusing Leo. Why are you so calm? He wondered before he drew.

"I activate the Pot of Greed Speed Spell! With this, I spend 2 Speed Counters to draw 2 cards!" Leo said as he drew, slowing down a bit. [Leo SC: 3]
"Now I summon my Morphtronic Lantron!" Leo shouted as a small flashlight appeared by him.

Yusei was rather surprised as a twin-headed metallic dragon appeared, roaring loudly, "That's new..."

"Like my dragon? Well, now he'll end this duel! Go, my Cyber Twin Dragon! Attack Yusei directly!" Yusei chuckled as the metallic monster charged at him. "Not today Leo. I activate my trap, Burning Mirror Force!" Leo sweated as his dragon's attack was met with a transparent wall before it set ablaze. "Oh no!" Leo cried out.
"Yep, and now I destroy all attack position monsters on your field, and we both take damage equal to their attack!" Yusei grinned as the flames launched out and consumed Power Tool and Cyber Twin Dragon... and then Leo! "But that means we draw!" [Leo: 4000-0]
Leo's runner steams up as it slows to a halt. Leo coughs a bit before watching Yusei, slow to a stop without the steam. "W-wait, what?" As the smoke cleared, a ring with shields spun before the older male. "Looks like you lose." He chuckled, earning a pout from the boy.
"Of course, you sneak your way to victory. I'll beat you one of these days..." Leo vowed, soon laughing with Yusei as he jumped off his runner to hug his big brother.

"What happened Leo? And where's Rua?" This got Leo to pause for a sec before he started to panic. However, the two were interrupted by a chuckle in the night wind, both skidding to a stop on their runners before glancing at a small clown man standing before them, "Well, hello mister Fudo and Leonardo. Mister Goodwin had sent me to give you this invitation." Lazar approaches the weary brothers, Yusei taking the letter from him. He opens and gasps when he and Leo see their friends, Rally and the gang, in a photo with Yusei's Stardust Dragon.
"If you don't show up, then those people in that photo will get a visit from Sector Security. Not to mention your little brother there..." They both growl, but look up to find the short man gone.
"They remain silent for a moment before looking at each other, "What do we do?" Leo asked, breaking the silence, worry in his expression as Yusei sighed, "Looks like I have no choice. I have to participate. Especially to keep the guys safe. On that note, let's continue looking for Rua before turning in." Yusei said as he lead the way, the focus on finding the missing twin.
Above the city, a dark cloaked figure soon formed from the dark, "I don't see why Master Griffon is concerned with this abnormal anomaly... Though, this change in time... Could it be those two trying to stop us? Hmmm..." He holds a hand out, sensing something off. "Huh, so it is their power. But why are they using children? Either way, looks like I'll have to get rid of them..." He said before vanishing into the night...
The two teal cloaked men stood at the Satellite shores, staring at Neo Domino. "You sensed it too?" The younger man said, the older nodding, "Seems they sensed our influence. The children should be able to handle him. Especially with his help." The younger man nodded, soon adding, "I've been thinking..." The old man cut him off, "I noticed he isn't using the cards as well. I'm sure that'll change for the tournament. The six deities shall awaken with the Crimson One. Then the Dark shall aid them next once the true first trial begins..." He said.
The younger male shook his head, "No... Wouldn't they have reached out their influence as well?" There was a odd silence before the dust picked up, the two disappearing a voice echoing in response, "You must be patient... You'll see her soon..."
CyberMorph Dragon Smelt: (This card is always treated as a 'Cyber Dragon' and 'Morphtronic') This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned with the following conditions (You can only control 1 'CyberMorph' at a time):
-If you control a face-up 'Morphtronic', banish 1 'Cyber Dragon' from your hand. If you do, Special Summon this card.
-If you control a 'Cyber Dragon', send 1 'Morphtronic' from your hand to the GY to Special Summon this card.
While this card is on the field, you can activate one of the following effects:
-Banish 1 'Cyber Dragon' from your hand, if you do, Fusion Summon 1 'Cyber Dragon'/'Morphtronic' Fusion monster by banishing the materials from the field and your hand.
-Discard 1 'Morphtronic', if you do, select a 'Cyber Dragon'/'Morphtronic' Fusion Monster. Then, add a material listed on the card and a 'Fusion' spell to your hand.
If this card is in your GY, shuffle 1 banished 'Cyber Dragon' and 1 'Morphtronic' in your GY into your deck. If you do, equip this card to a 'Cyber Dragon', 'Morphtronic' or 'Power Tool Dragon' and apply this effect:
