The door to Captain Teague's living space opened and in walked Captain Jack Sparrow. He so much as gave the older man and his companion- one Elizabeth Turner- a glance before making down the hall.
"Jack? What are you doing here?" She asked, following him.
"Might I ask ye the same question, love?" He shot back, opening a door to a side room and entering it.
It was one of the few rooms that Elizabeth had not yet seen. She was mildly surprised to find that it was a bedroom- one that seemed to be of a child. She was even more surprised when the pirate captain started going through various items, as if searching for something.
"I've been staying here." She finally answered, watching him.
"An' I live here." Jack answered her original question.
"Really?" Her brow furrowed as she tried to see through a lie that wasn't there.
"Da', where'd I leave me second pistol?" He called out to Teague.
"It's not out 'ere, boy." The Keeper called back.
Jack sighed, muttering under his breath. He went over to an old closet, pulling it open with a creak. His eyes scanned the shelves and a triumphant smirk covered his face. He reached into the closet, his arm coming out with a pistol. The metal carvings were elaborate, showing that this was no ordinary pistol.
"Found it!"
"Is this your room?" Elizabeth finally asked.
"Aye, though I haven't used it in years." He answered.
"And Captain Teague's your father?" She wanted confirmation.
"Ye didn't notice?" Jack raised a curious eyebrow at her.
She shook her head.
"Aye, he's me dad." He loaded the pistol and tucked it behind his belt with his other one. "Saving' that for Barbossa. He stole the Pearl again."
"He doesn't give up, does he?" She rolled her eyes.
"Unfortunately not." He sighed. "I'm gonna go after him, if ye care to come."
Elizabeth shook her head. "Not this time, Jack."
"Right then, I'll see ye next time I stop by."
And with that, the pirate captain left the room. A dumbfounded Elizabeth stood there until she heard the main door creak shut as he truly left. She left Jack's room, closing the door behind her. She walked back out to meet Teague, where she sat down across from him again.
After a long moment of studying his features and comparing them to Jack's, she said,"I knew there was something that reminded me of Jack here."
