How were you supposed to feel on the day of your secret wedding?
At that question, Larisa couldn't help but snort, with that question she actually found common ground with celebrities! After all many of them had secret weddings only their reasoning was far different from hers, they kept theirs secret, so they could be free of cameras and the people behind them. While hers was secret because she was sixteen and about to marry a demon.
Gazing up at the ceiling of her bedroom, Larisa sighed she had known this view for a very long time, this had always been her room. These four walls filled full of her things, of her past, of her life as Larisa Daniels. Sitting up in bed she gazed around the room taking in all the things she had collected in her lifetime: books, photos, knick-knacks, toys, electronics, and everything else.
Getting up she headed for her bathroom and began to shower, today she was going to be married to Sebastian…without her parents knowing. Without most knowing this, when she came home today and came to her room, she would no longer be Larisa Daniels she would be Larisa Michaelis. If she lived a normal life, she would be moving out to be with Sebastian.
After all, most sixteen-year-old's didn't get married unless they were pregnant and usually in those cases their boyfriends moved in with them. If they chose to take responsibility. She was lacking a baby though and simply marrying Sebastian because, well because he was dying. Shimon was making sure her wish to marry the love of her life came true before he passed away.
All because he refused to be with her, she still held out hope that he would give in and take her, so he could live, and they could be together but no matter what happened. She would become Larisa Michaelis and then, then she would die as Larisa Michaelis. Feeling the water go cold at that thought Larisa frowned, how did it feel to die?
To have your clock stop forever and disappear into the part after life.
Her soul would be with Undertaker but what would happen to her, what happen to all of them; Kotomi, Anne, Aerlene, Alwyn, and Cassandra. They were separate consciousness away from Femi, did they inhabit some plane separate from hers, or did they simply disappear. Turning off her shower, Larisa sighed to herself, she supposed she would be finding that out on her own.
Because Sebastian was on his last leg and once, he disappeared she would follow after him, she had Undertaker promise her.
Sighing at that depressing thought, Larisa wiped away the steam and force on a smile, no more depression about the future. Or lack of future really. No, today was her perfect wedding day and she was going to treat it as such no matter what. Nodding at that Larisa began to blow dry her hair before making a French braid.
Finishing up she soon walked out of her room and met Ciel in the hall, eyeing her Ciel crossed his arms and rose an eyebrow, "You're not trying to be discreet, are you?" he asked her. Giving him a confused look, Larisa looked down when he nodded to her body and she saw what he meant. It seemed in her daze she chose a mostly white outfit.
Chuckling, Larisa sighed, "I guess today I wanted to fully embrace my title," she told her brother.
Shaking his head, Ciel took the lead down the stairs, "You know I always thought one of the twins would be the first of us to get married, if not both of them. They get drunk in Vegas and end up marrying a dancer, if not an exotic dancer," he scoffed.
Chuckling at that, Larisa grinned, "I always saw them going to Vegas and getting mauled by a tiger," she told him amused.
"I just wished that," said Ciel grinning.
Taking their seats at the table the next few minute was spent giving out good mornings before finally breakfast was served. Slowly eating her eggs and ham, Larisa peered up to her mother and found her happily chatting with her father. Waiting for a break in their conversation, Larisa cleared her throat, while her parents couldn't be a part of the real wedding. Mainly because of her fear of her mother's reaction to learning the truth about Sebastian.
That didn't mean she couldn't have them still be a part of her wedding day.
Once she had their attention, Larisa gave them a smile, "Mama, how did you feel before you married papa?" she questioned her.
Looking at her surprised, Dana frowned, "How did I feel?" she asked her surprised.
Nodding Larisa took a bite of egg, "Yeah, did you have the typical feelings of nervousness? Or did you feel differently," she asked her mom.
Pursing her lips, Dana frowned, "Well I suppose I did feel a touch nervous, but I think that's true of almost all brides. There was also my worries at what came next, I, like others, forgot there were still milestones to collect after marriage. For some reason that day I wasn't worried I was making a mistake or anything like that, no I was disappointed because it felt like I was crossing the finishing line and that would be it. Which wasn't true of course," she told her ending on a smile.
Turning to her father Larisa smiled, "What about you, papa?" she asked.
Pausing halfway with a fork full of egg, Hikaru pondered her question as the bit of egg plopped back down onto his plate. Putting down his fork, Larisa's stoic father frowned, "I had concerns; my family was very much against me marrying an American woman. My father in particular, he was very upset that I divorced my pervious wife. Not to mention there was the cultural differences the two of us would have to deal with," he said.
Nodding at that Larisa frowned, "What made you decide to go ahead and go through with it?" she asked him curiously.
Chuckling at that, Hikaru smiled, "To believe it or not, my first wife was the one who cured my woes, I had invited her to the wedding after all we didn't end on a sour note. We were never really in love, we simply respected each other…we were friends. When I told her my worries. She told me I shouldn't back out because I obviously thought there was something worth fighting for with Dana. She was right in the end," he said.
Nodding at that, Larisa smiled, "Thanks, thanks for breakfast and for answering my questions," she said getting up, carrying her plate to the sink she and Ciel bid their parents goodbye. Slipping out once they gave their stories about what they were doing the two of them made their way around the corner to the back of Sebastian's house.
"You still managed to make mom and dad apart of your wedding day," snorted Ciel.
Smiling at that Larisa chuckled, "I couldn't help it, I mean its only fair, they should be allowed to be apart of it no matter what," she told him.
"They can always be apart of the next one," said Ciel frowning.
Shaking her head, Larisa frowned, "I won't marry anyone but Sebastian, Ciel. This is my only wedding day unless a miracle happens, and he changes his mind…or he miraculously survives. Beating all the odds, but the second one is least likely to happen," she told him.
Sighing at that Ciel frowned as they reached the back gate, "Can't believe I'm rooting for my sister losing her virginity," he said cringing.
Snorting at that Larisa reached out to hug him, "Our lives have really changed since Sebastian, don't you think?" she asked her baby brother amused.
"Not for the better in my opinion," said Ciel dryly.
Smiling at that Larisa squeezed Ciel tightly, "Ciel, you know your important to me right, that no one in the world could ever replace you as my baby brother," she said softly.
Reaching up, Ciel sighed, "No need to get sappy just because your getting married, I mean its not like your going anywhere," he said annoyed. Pulling away he frowned, "I mean you might be getting married to him but you're not leaving, and nothing is changing. Not yet at least," he scoffed
Nodding Larisa nodded her head, "Yeah, nothing will change," she said.
She didn't like lying to Ciel, but at least that meant she was getting better at lying. She couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Deciding it didn't matter in the end, Larisa and Ciel made their way inside and the moment they step inside both were whisked it away.
Getting dragged upstairs, Larisa was shoved into a room by someone she never get got to see, taking a moment take the room in she paused. Standing across from her was two very familiar twins, the twins she spent some time with when Claude set that huge lie up. The twins with the candy colored hair; Megumi had pink hair and Satsumi had blue, they looked exactly the same and were even wearing the same maid uniforms.
Standing up straight Larisa furrowed her brow, "Megumi and Satsumi, what are you two doing here?" she asked.
Gazing at her impassively, Megumi walked toward her and grabbed her by her wrist, "I'm surprised you even remember our names," she said pulling her toward a vanity before forcing her down.
Nodding at that Satsumi took her place behind Larisa and began to brush her hair, "We weren't even with you that long, Claude didn't have you for very long. Sebastian found you in no time," she scoffed as she began to think out a hair style.
Frowning at that as the two began to play with her hair, Larisa frowned, "Kind of hard to forget girls with cotton candy colored hair. Besides, aside from Ronald you were the only two I could talk too," she muttered to them.
"Rather boring conversations if you ask me," scoffed Megumi.
Sighing at that Larisa smiled, "Glad to see you two haven't changed," she said amused.
"Why on earth would we change," said Satsumi.
Discussing hair styles, they grabbed her and after tossing a sheet on her head they escorted her toward the master bathroom where they promptly striped her much to her embarrassment. Before she could even complain or even wiggle uncomfortably, they tossed her into a bath. Getting grabbed before she sunk under the water, Larisa was let go the moment she was steady. Once the hands disappeared, Larisa frowned and gazed at the water. It was green and there were flower petals and glitter floating in the water, "What is this?" she ask confused, it was making her skin tingle.
Grabbing a rough looking sponge, Megumi frowned, "We brought special herbal treatments from the demon world. This bath will help clear up your skin, give you a very pleasing flora scent, and make your skin soft," she explained grabbing her arm and started to scrub.
Grabbing her hair, Satsumi frowned and began to pin her hair up before slipping a cap over it, "It also dissolves hair so keep your head up and out of the water unless you would like to give baldness a try. Or get rid of your eyebrows and lashes for that matter too," she said moving down to her feet once she was done, all the while pulling out a large rock.
Jumping at that Larisa was about to ask what she was doing only to yelp in pain when Satsumi began to rub the rough rock against her feet.
The next ten minutes the two of them scrubbed her body before they pulled her out of the bath. Then they drained it and filled it up once more. Ripping off the cap they shoved her back into the water and when she broke to the surface, they dragged her over and pulled out bottles. That they promptly dumped over hear head. It was like oil or sap, it was thick and sticky but smelled rather good, its scent getting stronger and stronger as they lathered up her hair.
Leaving the stuff in her hair they next attacked her face with some kind of facial scrub that left her face tingling this time. It was like they were making her shed her old body, making her peal away and be reborn as a butterfly or something.
Rinsing everything off they began to dry her off, the two of them didn't stop till there was no water left on her body. They didn't stop there though, as quick as lightening they rubbed lotions into her skin, yelping as they touch parts no body had ever touched Larisa slapped them away. Shaking her head, she glared, "Seriously, do demons not have boundaries?" she asked mortified.
Covering her body with her hands the best she could, Larisa glared at them, but the twins just sighed, "Glad to see your still shy," said Satsumi sarcastically.
"There's nothing wrong with being shy!" cried Larisa defensively.
Rolling her eyes, Megumi darted behind Larisa and slipped something over her head while at the same time Satsumi slipped on a pair of panties. Wiggling Larisa blushed as Megumi began to tighten up and tie off laces and Satsumi put more things on her, "I can dress myself," she cried pulling away from the duo only to find they were already done.
Looking into the mirror she blushed at what she found, they put her in some kind of white lacy lingerie corset top with matching panties, a garter belt and stockings. Feeling her face turn flaming, Larisa looked to the duo mortified, "Um, why?" she asked them.
Going behind her to redo the laces, Megumi frowned, "You have to dress up for your wedding day, not to mention you should try and tempt him for the wedding night," she said amused.
Sighing at that, Larisa gazed at her reflection glumly, "Yeah, Sebastian has pretty much told me we aren't doing anything of that nature, so what's the point," she muttered. Then peering over to Megumi, she frowned, "Are you sure he would even be tempted by me…I mean you guys are way prettier than I could ever be," she said her self-consciousness rearing its head.
Smirking at that Satsumi slid a white robe onto her tying it shut, "By the time were done, you'll be able to stand up to any demoness in beauty, mistress," she said confidently.
"If you say so," said Larisa doubtful.
It wasn't that she thought herself ugly, she felt she was a little cute with a dash of pretty but compared to a demon. Well, she have to be a super model with legions of fans before she thought for a single second she could compare to a demon.
Throwing the sheet over her head they once more dragged her away back to the room from before, only this time her wedding dress was in here. Before she could gaze to long at it though she was made to sit back down at the vanity table. With that they began to pretty her up for her wedding day, starting with her hair.
The twins worked quickly but had a delicate touch as they brushed and styled her hair. The two of them went through a number of hair styles before they finally settled on one. They somehow managed to create a braided crown that lead to the back where a small bun was. The rest of her hair was curled and made to fall down her back.
They sprayed it with something that made her hair sparkled and stay in place, it was different than hair spray however. She remembered all to well the sensation of hairspray, it left her hair crinkly and stiff while this just gave her sparkle. Once her hair was done, they began to attack her face with makeup, painting her lips a bright red. Then they lined her eyes in black eyeliner and used grey and black eye shadow on her eyelids. Then they curled her lashes and used mascara.
Once they dusted her cheeks with blush, they had her stand and she made her way to her dress at last, gazing at it she reached out for it and smiled.
"It really is quite the lovely dress," said Megumi eyeing it.
"Yes, it'll look good on her, but before she wears it, we still have things to do. Such as her nails," said Satsumi grabbing her hand.
It went on like this forever. Larisa was polished, buffed, and shined; if she didn't glimmer like a diamond by the end of this she was going to be annoyed. Finally putting on the dress, Larisa moaned in pleasure because she had never had something fit her so comfortably. It was just right tailored to her body, it was absolutely perfect!
Once the tiara was put on her head and the veil secured in place Larisa grabbed the skirt and took a deep breath as she walked toward the mirror. Closing her eyes readying for the big reveal, Larisa slowly opened her eyes, her stomach was in knots. She was dying of anticipation but just couldn't bring herself to rush it.
She had dreamt of being a bride, a beautiful blushing bride.
Ready to start her life with her husband; she planned their lives out so well. When she was young, she always wanted to marry her high-school sweetheart. They would marry right out of high school and attend college together as husband and wife. Then when they finally got their jobs, they would buy their dream cotton candy castle and have three beautiful children.
That was her young bride dreams.
Later on, it changed, she wouldn't marry out of high school but rather during college. While she was on a field trip. She thought back then field trips and school would always go hand-in-hand only the older you got the grander the field trips became. On a college field trip though, she would met the typical handsome foreigner. They would have a whirlwind romance that would fill her life full of magic, but then it was time to go home. It would be then her whirlwind romance would pop the question along with revealing his status as a prince!
That was her tween bride dreams.
To be honest though her tween bride idea hopped around, other times she went into the world of her current anime obsession and she would fall in love with her favorite character. Or they would come to her world and they would fall in love. Then if it wasn't revolving around anime characters it was almost always about a vampire or something equally cool.
It would go on and on like this till her dreams became a little more rooted in reality, of course go figure that her actual marriage was going to be more similar to her tween dreams.
Though instead of an anime character, a vampire, or a prince she was getting a demon king, how many girls wished for a twist like that!
Finally opening her eyes, Larisa took herself in, gazing at the bride she had been transformed and made into by Megumi and Satsumi.
Peering at her reflection she frowned, she didn't look like herself. She had been transformed into someone else, not to say she was unpleased by this. She was just surprised she supposed would be the most fitting word for this. She never realized she could look so different, make up really was a wonderous thing. She should have watched more makeup tutorials!
Reaching out to stroke the cheek of her reflection, Larisa smiled before turning to the girls, "Thank you Megumi, Satsumi!" she told the duo happily.
Nodding the duo turned away, "Stay in here till we retrieve you," ordered Megumi.
Giving them an absentminded nod, Larisa moved away from the mirror and headed toward a desk in the corner, once the duo was gone, she gazed at the desk intensely. Searching through the drawers she found some pens and paper, glancing at the paper and pens she frowned. Giving the door one more glance she sat down and picked up the pen her heart hammering in her chest. Sebastian didn't have long which meant she didn't have long either.
She wanted to do something, for the next treasure and this might be her last chance to do it.
Putting the pen to the paper it was almost as if she had become possessed, the room became filled with the sounds of scribbling. Scribbling away, Larisa poured out her story as the treasure from the beginning. Giving what little advice she could to her next self and giving her the full facts about how she came about. That they had angel in them and if anything happens their blood could become poisonous to the one, they loved.
She told her to not reject her demon because they really do love their treasure and she told her how to win their demons heart.
Feeling her hand cramp up, Larisa pulled away from the final page and gazed at the pile of pages she wrote, she didn't realize her story could fill so many pages. Taking a moment to number all the pages she frowned at them wondering what to do with them. If she asked someone to take them and give them to Undertaker, they would get suspicious.
The twins might tell the others just to spoil her plans, they were kind of like that.
Looking around the room she ultimately put the pages into a desk drawer, Sebastian wasn't going to die this very instant, so she would have time to retrieve the pages. The likely hood of anyone in the house running across them was low so she would leave them here, till later. Shutting the drawer, she jumped when the door banged open, peering over she found a disgruntled Sam, "Shut up, in America its tradition for the bridesmaid to stay with the bride, flower boy too!" she snapped.
"I don't want you spoiling anything!" snapped Shimon.
"And I'm not a flower boy, I'm not even the ringer bearer! I'm just a guest!" snapped Ciel.
"Whatever you say flower boy, and how exactly am I supposed to spoil anything. It isn't like if I see Larisa, Sebastian will see," snapped Sam baring in.
Pausing half way in she scanned the room before stopping when she spotted her, "Wow! Holy crap, Lala!" she said trotting up to her happily.
Smiling at that Larisa made her way over to Sam, grabbing her friends hands she nodded and chuckled, "I know the twins really transformed me! I can't believe this is what make up can do! No wonder they make a lot of money," she told her amused.
Lifting her arms to get a better look at the dress, Sam laughed, "You really do make a pretty blushing bride!" she told her happily.
"Thank you!" said Larisa happily.
Peering over when Ciel shuffled forward, Larisa smiled at her little brother who gazed at her wide eye, slowly his look of shock melted away and into a scowl, "You don't look like Larisa anymore," he grumbled under his breath.
"Seriously, your griping about how she looks, she looks phenomenal," said Sam.
"She doesn't look like my Lala!" snapped Ciel furious.
Smiling at that Larisa glided over to her brother and swept him up in a big hug, "I know what you mean, Ciel. I don't look like Larisa because today I go from Larisa Daniels to Larisa Michaelis! Its only natural that I change but yeah, it's still a little unnerving!" she said amused.
"Really unnerving," said Ciel.
Sitting alone in a chair, Sebastian gazed at the bag of blood that was slowly emptying into him curtsy an IV, apparently after that whole messy affair with Winter Larisa had secretly been giving blood. So, should anything happen to anyone and she wasn't there they could just use her blood. She did this all the while under his eyes with help from the triplets and Shimon.
Today he would be receiving it all, just so he could give Larisa the wedding of her dreams.
Grabbing the IV tube, Sebastian sighed, humans were greedy individuals. Yet, many were willing to give up parts of themselves for others without so much a bat of the eye. Save for the squeamish who were willing. Blood, organs, and so many other things that could drastically shorten their lives. Blood was of course the least lethal sacrifice but still, it always surprised him how willing some humans were to give up parts of them that helped their life.
Back when he first faced blood transfusions, it had been done in secret without anyone's knowing but he wondered if they didn't do the tricks how well it would have gone over. The only reason people accepted it right away back then was because of the affect they saw it had on others.
Banishing away thoughts of the past, Sebastian rose up as pure strength spilled into his veins, he had to use it all, but he was now feeling like his old self. Still it wouldn't last, he could feel a cold pit in his gut telling him that soon the numbness would overtake him once more. Pulling loose once the last drop had enter him Sebastian rose and began to dress.
The last wedding, he attended had been Ciel's, when he married Lizzie, it wasn't that far into their marriage when the dice began to really roll. A lot happened in the young earl's youth but when he finally became a man that was when the fireworks sparked.
Walking over to mirror when he got to his tie, Sebastian straighten it out before turning away from his appearance his skin was greyer than usual and his eyes were not as bright as they use to be. The ruby had become tarnished and honestly resembled dried blood. In color at least.
Standing up straighter when a knock sounded at the door, Sebastian gave the okay and turned to find Shimon slipping in, "Larisa is ready, Samantha and Ciel are keeping her company. Have you taken all the blood?" he questioned him.
Waving over to the drained bags, Sebastian frowned, "Every last drop," he told him.
Looking him over, Shimon scoffed and shook his head, "Every last drop and you still look awful," he snapped heading over to him with a flower. Pinning it to Sebastian's jacket, Shimon looked up with a glared, "So have you thought about it?" he asked his king.
Sighing at that, Sebastian frowned down at him and sighed, "Yes, I have," he said shortly.
"And," asked Shimon gazing at Sebastian shrewdly.
Looking over to him, Sebastian narrowed his gaze, "What I do with my bride should really be none of your concern but seeing how I know you and you'll know in due time then here it is. I have decided to make her my bride…our way," he said.
Pausing at that, Shimon looked aghast, this was of course what he was wishing for, but he just couldn't believe he was actually getting what he wished. He did not believe his luck was this great, "Why? After all this time you haven't said a word making us think you came back to sanity," he said.
Pulling at his cuffs, Sebastian paused, "Because I realized something during my time of being bedridden with only Larisa for company," he said.
"What is that?" asked Shimon curiously, what did Larisa do to change Sebastian's mind.
Smiling at that Sebastian peered up to Shimon, "I realized, despite her hating tragic love stories with a fiery passion, Larisa hated them because she understood their feelings most of all. She hated them because she was just like them and she was angry they gave up and she didn't want that. Because she was scared of what comes after giving up," he said.
Furrowing his brow, Shimon shook his head, "What are you going on about?" he asked confused.
Sighing Sebastian reached out and grabbed Shimon's shoulder, "If I choose to hold out and attempt to wait till, she was of age, then died she has full intentions to follow me to the grave. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she has a desired to be buried with me in some kind of lovers casket. Without a doubt, under our noses Larisa's gone to Undertaker and asked him to kill her upon my death. Then take her soul for safe keeping," he said.
"Undertaker, why him?!" cried Shimon sounding awfully offended.
Giving him a smile, finding his offense at her actions amusing, Sebastian chuckled, "Don't go feeling insulted that your queen chose to trust the Shinigami, Shimon. Undertaker is a servant to the Treasure; while you, Shimon, are a subordinate of mine. She knows I would never let any of you harm her and you all would stop her from seeking death after me. What other choice did she have? She knows what happens upon suicide and she knows that isn't the treasure's destiny. She can only trust Undertaker to restart her life," he said.
Taking that all in, Shimon frowned, "She craftier than we give her credit," he snorted.
Nodding at that a proud smile touched Sebastian, "Yes, she's craftier than she lets on," he said.
It's normal to be nervous.
It's normal to be nervous.
It's normal to be nervous.
Larisa had to continuously repeat this in her mind, it was like a mad chant. She couldn't help it though because the butterflies were on overload in her stomach. Honestly, she wouldn't be surprised at all if she opened her mouth and butterflies poured out. She kind of wanted ginger ale, that always calmed her down, people said ginger ale and sprite helped with nervous or upset stomachs.
She never really knew if that was true though, Ciel said it was simply a placebo effect, when people expected it to work your body would force the reaction you were expecting. She thought it worked though, so she supposed that was all that mattered in the end. Pacing the room as she waited for the wedding to start, Larisa paused. She was being stupid, why was she having a wedding? She was starting to feel like a little girl playing dress up.
Ready to step outside and call this all off, she paused in front of the door with her hand hovering over the door knob. Biting her lip unsure what to do, Larisa turned away and pondered, even if it was silly who cared, it was her last request. If Sebastian died, she would be following after him, so she was allowed to have her last wish granted, wasn't she?
Going back to pacing and gnawing at the inside of her cheek, Larisa paused when a knock shattered her thoughts and rooted her in place, "Larisa, its time," said Shimon from the other side.
Feeling her heart about to leap out of chest, Larisa slowly stepped toward the door and reached out for the door sluggishly. She could feel beads of sweat forming everywhere and running down her body causing endless shivers, it seemed to take her forget to reach the doorknob. Why did it suddenly seem so far away?
Also did nervousness cause heartburn?
Grabbing the knob and twisting it, Larisa opened the door a crack peering through, "Y-Yes," she squeaked sounding remarkably like a mouse.
Gazing down at her with a blank expression, Shimon eyed her for a minute before closing his eyes dismissing her expression for nerves, "It's time," he announced.
Nodding at that, Larisa closed the door for a second taking a deep breath she nodded, once she was resolved she pulled the door open and face Shimon. Walking out beside him she blushed, "Is this a silly request?" she asked him quietly as they headed for the stairs.
Peering over to Larisa, Shimon eyed her as he chose his words, "Do you believe this is your last chance to marry Sebastian?" he questioned her. Pausing at that, a pungent sadness filling her up Larisa gave him a slow nod willing her tears to not fall. Tuning away from her once he got his answer, Shimon offered her his arm as he held out a bouquet, "Then no, last request are never silly, their last chances," he said, the next moment the music started, and it began.
The next couple of hours were spent in some kind of daze, if Larisa describe this later on, she would say it was akin to an out of body experience. She floated down the stairs unable to string together a thought as Shimon escorted her. If not for him she felt as if she would drift away to some no-man's land, never to be seen again.
When they finally reached outside, and her eyes locked onto Sebastian her mind finally filled up, she could see all the important moments she shared with him. Their very first meeting; he really did look like some kind of odd fairytale prince laying in the flowers! Then she saw them reunite in the same flower field. She saw him leave with the promise to return to her when she was older. Then there was seeing each other again, in the hall of her school.
Then she remember him reminding her of their promise.
All these moments they shared continued to bombard her, filling her mind as she reached Sebastian, tears kept threatening to fall. They weren't completely happy though. She was happy she would marry Sebastian, but she was crying over the future they would never see together.
Squashing down these feelings of regret, Larisa faced forward and gazed at Sebastian with a small smile, maybe if God was real, he would forgive her for loving a demon. Maybe he would allow her and Sebastian a second chance at love in the distant future where they wouldn't know each other.
The rest of the day went by in flashes.
She remember looking on in surprised when she found Undertaker acting as the Priest. She remember her vows to Sebastian that was seal with a kiss. After that she could only see pictures, her dancing with Sam, offering Ciel the cupcake after seeing him eye it. Then she danced with Sebastian.
Blinking her eyes as she slowly came too, Larisa peered over and found Sebastian at her side his arm around her shoulder as he clutched the banister. Helping him up the stairs, she peered around and found the house was empty. The music was still ringing in her ears as was the laughter, Sam's being the loudest of all.
It was over in a flash.
Was it like this for all brides?
Hard to believe she could barely remember anything of the day she dreamt about as a child. Crossing the threshold into Sebastian's room, Larisa faintly heard the door shut but she paid it little attention as she helped him to his bed. Stepping away when he sat down, Larisa gazed down at him and felt that sinking sensation fill her up again.
"You didn't seem very happy today," said Sebastian quietly.
Looking at him surprised, Larisa looked away embarrassed, "What do you mean? It's my wedding day, I was smiling the whole time," she said. That had to be true, her cheeks certainly hurt.
Turning his gaze to her, Sebastian reached out and cupped her cheek, instinctively Larisa stepped in closer to him her fingers tracing patterns on his pant leg. Slowly moving his hand up, Sebastian looked her dead in her eyes, "Maybe you smiled but I didn't see that smile reach your eyes once, no, your eyes seemed to be dead set on hopelessness," he said.
Looking at him surprised, Larisa's smile faded away as tears fell, grabbing the skirt of her perfect wedding dress she bit her lip. Tears filled her vision blurring it completely, "How could I be happy, you gave up on life! Why would I be happy with that. This is just an empty last gesture! You're still going to die and then everything ends…there's no more love, no more future for us," she cried reaching up to wipe away her tears, sobbing.
She felt empty, Sebastian never gave up, but he was giving up on her. This wedding was proof of that, maybe Shimon was giving her a last wish, but Sebastian was telling her there was no future for them. He was saying that to her and trying to give her an empty gestured. Watching Larisa sob, smearing her make up giving her raccoon eyes, Sebastian sighed.
He waited to long and ended up making her feel miserable on what was supposed to be her perfect day, he supposed he needed to work on his timing. Grabbing her hand, Sebastian gaze at her polished nails, today she had been made to look the most beautiful she had ever been. Today was supposed to be a day she felt on top of the world.
Well, today wasn't over yet, so maybe he still had time to save it.
Clutching it tighter he pulled her in and sealed his lips against her own, she didn't fight back but she didn't return the kiss. The scent of her tears mixed with make up and a lingering scent on her skin from her bath. Pulling away from her, Sebastian frowned, "Larisa, I ask you not to save my life, but as a mortal who's chosen a demon. Marry me," he said strongly.
Looking at him, sniffling and wiping away her tears, Larisa frowned, "What do you think I just did?" she asked him moodily.
Shaking his head Sebastian pulled her in close, "No, I'm asking you to marry me…my way," he said.
Gazing at him confused, the weight of his words finally hit Larisa making her flush bright red, "Wait, do you mean…really?" she asked shocked.
Narrowing his gaze, Sebastian looked her dead in the eye, "Larisa, submit to me and become mine," he said firmly and clearly.
Well that's the new chapter, I didn't really focus much on the wedding so I hope your not too disappointed. As for the next chapter I'm giving you a heads up, there will be no lemon, or whatever we call it these days. I'm unaware if that term has changed. Anyway, I won't be writing a lemon, I don't feel confident enough to write a convincing one or even a good one to be honest. Pushing through that...I hoped you enjoyed and feel free to tell me if you like or disliked this chapter, just remember, constructive criticism goes further than outright rudeness.
