Everyone stared and whispered as Hinata walked through the streets. It was obvious the incident between her and Sakura had spread. Hinata remained unfazed as she hugged the divorce papers to her chest and kept her eyes straight ahead. She could care less what others wanted to think about her. Judgment was something she had endured her whole life and this event would be no different. Petty gossip developed from ignorance would not have any hold over her life. Luckily, after a few minutes she arrived at Anko's office and quickly made her way inside. She let out a heavy sigh before waving at the woman, "Hey" she breathed as she walked over to the desk, placing the signed papers down.

"Whoa, that was quick" Anko stated slightly surprised as she looked through the papers. She didn't expect Sasuke to be so cooperative, but was glad that he didn't escalate the situation. Her eyes glanced from the papers to Hinata, half wondering if the girl was going to change her mind but the Hyuga's face remained stern. It wasn't as easy to read her anymore.

"Is it done?" Hinata asked as she watched Anko inspect the papers. It was making her anxious that Anko kept glancing at her with every paper she inspected. There was no way she was going to change her mind about this, regardless of her emotions at the moment. She made a vow to herself to act on her own best interests and this was a good thing. Of course she was having second thoughts but respecting herself was more important than love in this moment.

Anko nodded slowly while looking over the last page before placing the papers into a file and neatly tucking it away. Her eyes once again moved back to Hinata, staring the girl down, "People fight...and shit happens. I have to ask...are you sure about this? because once I turn in those papers...it's over" she explained. She glared outside for a moment noticing the nosy people looking straight into her office. "Tch! these damn people...swear they have nothing better to do" she snarled as she got up to make her way over to door, fully intending to scold them.

Hinata sat quietly as she mulled over Anko's words. She and Sasuke had been through a lot together and she thought they had a friendship. A friendship in which she thought they had enough respect for one another that they would always think of each other before they did something that would jeopardize their reputations. Obviously, she was the only one that truly held up that understanding. It would be easy for him if she decided to forgive him and move on from the situation, but that would only happen at the expense of her happiness. She wasn't going to let the abuse continue. Her feelings would not be put in the backseat anymore just to make everyone else comfortable. That time is over. "Don't bother with them..." Hinata said firmly. Once Anko went back to her seat, Hinata sat in a chair opposite her friend. "Look I'm sure about this. It has been far too long that I actually did something just for me. What he did was an ultimate betrayal to our love and friendship. This is to take a stand against people treating me like I'm nothing. My father...the clan...my peers...now him. I'm tired of it."

"Well that's a cause I can definitely get behind" Anko said with a smile, glad to see that the young woman was very clear on what she wanted for herself. Hinata was a lot better than she was at that age and she wanted to support that. Though she was happy to see this kind of change for Hinata, it didn't change the fact that the girl was experiencing a tremendous amount of hurt right now. No one deserved that. However, she has had her fair share of hell and she knew without a doubt Hinata would only become stronger because of this. "Now that the papers are signed all we do now is wait for a meeting with the Hokage to oversee the divorce hearing."

"How long before that happens?"

"Shouldn't take too long...most likely a day or two" Anko replied as she leaned back against the chair. "The Hokage likes to deal with petty matters pretty quickly just to get them out of the way. Her words not mine."

The girl nodded silently, keeping her eyes on her lap. Her mind was racing with doubts and it would probably be best for her to leave before her thoughts got the best of her. "I should get going" she'd say rising from her seat, completely avoiding the woman's face.

Anko definitely noticed Hinata's behavior but she wasn't going to say anything. If she ever wanted to talk she would definitely support her but the girl just made an intense decision. Time to reflect was the only thing that was needed right now.

After leaving Anko's office Hinata made her way to the training grounds. Immersing herself in training usually helped her deal with whatever was stressing her out and she was in much need of a release. However, upon her arrival she was greeted by none other than Sasuke and Sakura. The last two people she wanted to see, were in her favorite area to train. It appeared as though Sakura was crying due to the fact that her whorish makeup was running and Sasuke had an angry look on his face. 'Why did they have to be here?' Hinata thought to herself as she looked at them disgustedly. She felt like her soul was being set ablaze by how angry she was watching the two of them together. Kill...kill...blood was all she wanted as her mind clouded with anger. She needed to leave now before she loses control.

"Hinata!" Sasuke called after her when he noticed her leaving. He knew it wouldn't work so he ran after her grabbing her arm in hopes that would stop her. Hinata turned around swiftly activating her bloodline and going into her defensive stance. Sasuke hadn't noticed right away, but in that swift movement Hinata had managed to lock off a couple chakra points in his arm. He stumbled back from the impact, looking at his injured arm for a moment before looking back to Hinata with pure guilt. He had brought this on himself and he could see the innocence had left her eyes as she stared him down with anger. Seeing the situation from a distance, Sakura ran over to Sasuke's aid. She noticed some dark spots had started to appear which confirmed that Hinata had indeed attacked him.

"I told you to never touch me again" she growled as she deactivated her byakugan. Her eyes were locked on Sasuke's for a moment. She wanted him to feel how deeply she loathed him. After holding the glare for a minute she then turned away to get away from the situation.

"Hinata that was too much!" Sakura squealed as started to inspect Sasuke's arm.

Sakura's voice only made her anger flare. It was over...there was no control anymore. She spun around, glaring at Sakura this time before charging at her. This time though Sakura was prepared and was ready for anything Hinata was going try with her. Hinata had almost reached her when two anbu members appeared between the three of them. The Hyuga immediately jumped back looking at the two men questioningly, extremely furious that they got in the way. "What is this about?" she asked angrily.

"The three of you have been summoned to the Hokage's office" one of the men said under the mask. He pointed in the direction of the office as he met Hinata's glare and she complied by turning away to head in that direction. The two men realized that it would probably be better if they walked between them. Luckily they arrived when they had or that would have been a very bad situation.

Hokage's Office

One of the anbu members opened the door announcing their arrival. The two walked over to the Hokage and one bent down to explain something that made her look to the three of them. Hinata stepped in first and then the other two. She made sure she stood as far away from them as possible, making it clear she wanted nothing to do with them.

Tsunade was looking over some paperwork as they assembled themselves in front of her. "So what exactly is going on between you all?" she asked leaning back against her chair to look at all three of them. Her eyes glanced over to Hinata, noticing the coldness the girl was suddenly carrying. That obviously gave her an answer as well as seeing that they were separated from each other.

Hinata stayed quiet, looking straight ahead completely avoiding the Hokage's face. There was nothing to really explain in her opinion. She just wanted to get this over with so that she didn't have to be in the same room as them. The other two stayed quiet as well, glancing over at Hinata before looking back to Tsunade.

"Well somebody better say something, because the village is buzzing with gossip and to be honest its quite sickening" Tsunade said sternly leaning forward, with both hands under her chin.

Hinata sighed softly when the quiet crept in again. It seems like she was going to have to be the one to say something which she really didn't want to do but she doubted they would step up."Sasuke cheated on me with that whore standing beside him" she said bluntly. "and I lost my temper a couple of times..."

Sakura looked over at Hinata, scoffing at the girl's words. "Lost your temper?" she'd say mockingly. "You tried to kill me."

"How about you not talk to me 'cause every time I hear your voice I want to try again" Hinata retorted.

The tension was high. Tsunade was completely shocked by Hinata's bluntness but she understood the girl's anger. "Both of you..stop it. You may have acted unprofessionally outside of this office, but you WILL conduct yourselves like women here" she warned as she looked between the two of them. "Sakura, personally I am very disgusted with your actions. I expected better from you."

Sakura looked over to her Sensei, feeling a bit ashamed since she was scolded. "I'm sorry."

"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to" Tsunade snapped. At that moment Shizune entered annoucing that Anko needed to see her, which she responded with a nod since that was the reason she brought them there.

Anko walked into the office, a bit stunned when she saw the three. It was ironic because they were exactly who she came to see the Hokage about. She walked up beside Hinata, obviously showing whose side she was going to be representing. "I have a delivery for you Lady Tsunade..." she said placing the folder on the desk before glaring over at Sakura and Sasuke.

The Hokage took the folder and quickly looked over it. "Sakura, you may leave since this does not concern you" the woman said coldly.

Sakura looked up with a small frown when she heard her Sensei, dismissing herself immediately.

"I'm also very disappointed in you as well Mr. Uchiha. For a serious man I thought you had more self control" Tsunade scolded as she glanced over at him disapprovingly. "Now Hinata, are you sure about this? There are many ways to fi-"

"I'm more sure than I've been with anything in my life..." Hinata interrupted. She kept her eyes forward, making sure she did not make the mistake of looking at his face. There was no doubt that he would've looked over at her due to what she said.

Sasuke looked at her with a pained expression. He knew he had caused her enough pain and even though he wanted to fight this, now was not the time.

Tsunade looked between the two of them, sighing heavily at the fact that nothing was going to change Hinata's mind. She had an instinct to ask one more time but she ignored it. Instead she stamped the document and laid it down on her desk. "It's done..." she said grimly looking up at the two. "Ok you two may leave I need to have a word with Hinata." she said with a shooing motion toward Sasuke and Anko.

Hinata sighed when she heard the Hokage's words, knowing there would be some kind of lecture coming her way. She kept her stone cold exterior but on the inside she was dying to be alone to grieve her failed marriage. It getting harder to breath as she held back her tears

"Hinata, I understand that you are angry, and you have all right to be. But, I need you to think before you act. You all are active shinobi and I don't need you ripping each other apart while at home, understood?" Tsunade asked firmly.

Hinata simply nodded, avoiding the Hokage's eyes. "Is that all?"

Tsnuade looked at the girl for a moment, shaking her head as she thought about the situation. "That's it."

She bowed politely before turning around to leave the office, letting out a huge sigh of relief once the door closed. It was time to begin her new life and though she was happy, the sadness still loomed over her.
