I told you guys and I had some time off and I'm definitely going to make it up to you for making you wait so long so here's the next update. Enjoy my loves!

These past weeks were pretty crazy for Sakura. Half the town pretty much wrote her off as a slut and all the girls that she used to hangout with had abandoned her out of fear that she may take their men. But what they didn't realize was that Sakura only cared about Sasuke.

She worked her ass off to become as powerful as possible so he would at least notice her. He gave her confidence that she had a chance with him the first night they had sex and she definitely wasn't going to quit now...she needed to be by his side. So everyone else could go straight to hell as far as she was concerned.

"Hey..." she said tiredly when she entered the Yamanaka's flower shop.

"What's up?" said a voice from the back, before they walked out with a large vase.

"Nothing much..." Sakura said as she sat down at the table by the door. Ino was the only girl that Sakura felt like she could trust which was not very wise since the blond was known as one of the most notorious gossipers in the village. But she was the only friend the girl had.

Ino was busy doing some pruning, glancing at Sakura every now and then. Something was eating at her but for once she was actually hesitating about spilling it. "So did you hear?"... so much for trying.

"Hear about what?" Sakura asked curiously as she turned her attention to Ino.

The blond put the scissors down before looking at Sakura, "Sasuke went to see Hinata yesterday..." she said leaning on the counter, waiting for Sakura's reaction.

The girl gave a small shrug before turning to look outside. She was extremely upset that Sasuke actually went to see the Hyuga but she definitely wasn't going to show it. It was important to keep face since she really wasn't up to showing anyone her angry side. "Interesting..."she said in a sort of high pitched voice.

Ino gave her friend a smug look when she heard the high pitch, which could only mean Sakura was lying. "Yeah... and apparently it didn't go well" she said sitting up to put her hair up in a ponytail before walking around the counter to sit with Sakura. "Then he made a complete ass of himself at Shen's bar and apparently Naruto had to go drag him out..."she added with a whisper.

"Oh my god, I can't believe it was that bad..." Sakura said to herself before pouting.

"You knew already?" Ino asked.

"Well I sorta ran into Naruto last night. Long story short he told me Sasuke was sleeping it off and that I should just leave him alone." she said before sighing heavily.

"Wow..." the blond said mischievously. "Why do ya think he would say that?" she asked trying to pry further, because she was most likely going to gossip about this later.

"That idiot thinks that I'm getting in the way of Sasuke getting his life together. I mean I know what I did wasn't the best thing ever...but don't you think I'm more compatible for him than Hinata?"Sakura asked cockily.

"Yeah, yeah definitely!" Ino agreed in a high pitched voice. She knew it wasn't true. Hinata and Sasuke are perfect for each other. They bring each other out of their shell. Hinata did that within minutes of meeting Sasuke, while Sakura had been trying to do that for years and still hasn't done it.

Sakura stared at Ino for a moment wondering if she was lying, but ignored it since she really didn't care about anyone else's opinion. She knew they were right for each other and there was no one that could change her mind.

Naruto was dreading his decision to talk to Hinata as he walked up the stairs to her condo but he knew why he was doing it. Sasuke needed help with this whether he wanted it or not and it was obvious Hinata wasn't going to give him the time of day.

He reached the door and took a deep breath before knocking hesitantly. Footsteps were soon heard trekking across the hardwood floor of the condo before the door was yanked open.

"Look I-!" Hinata said in a loud voice before cutting herself off when she saw Naruto. "Sorry I thought you were someone else..."

"Oh don't worry about it, he's probably hung over and still in bed." Naruto joked even though he knew his statement was very accurate.

Hinata gave a brief smile before turning her cold gaze to him, "Look Naruto, I don't mean to be rude but why are you here?" she asked frankly.

Naruto stood a bit surprised at Hinata's attitude. He'd heard that she changed but he had no idea it was this much. "Came to talk about Sasuke..."

Hearing Sasuke's name made Hinata throw her hands up in frustration. He was the reason she hadn't had any sleep, and she was very stressed so she wanted nothing to do with him for right now.

"I know...I know, but just hear me out. Please?" he pleaded.

Hinata looked at Naruto for a minute before stepping aside so he could come in. "Alright" her tone clearly indicating she was not excited about this.

The blond gave a warm smile before stepping into the house. "Wow nice pad Hina."

"You know nothing you say is gonna change my mind about him." she said already letting it be known that she was not open to forgive him.

A quiet sigh was heard before Naruto turned to face her, "I know, and I expect that. He hurt you terribly and I get why you're so angry Hina but please just keep your mind open ok?"

Hinata nodded briefly, crossing her arms over her chest as she waited for Naruto to explain.

Naruto knew this wasn't going to be easy but he hoped that he would at least get her to talk to Sasuke. "Ok look, I know you probably don't believe me but he's a mess without you. The man has been drinking himself to death...if you cut him open he'd probably bleed whiskey."

"So what are you saying? I should just pity him because he's sad?" she asked extremely annoyed at this point.

"Now I'm just saying that you should at least listen to him Hina...I know he doesn't deserve it but please...I'm begging you." Naruto pleaded, hoping she would say yes.

"No...No I'm not doing it." she said shaking her head. "You will never know the kind of pain I feel right now. I've finally got to a point where I can do things without crying all the fucking time! He's gonna have to work his ass off for even a little bit of my attention."

"I may not have had the same thing happen to me but it was pretty damn close. I know it hurts to have the person you love dearly betray you..."he said trailing off a bit. "Everything you do reminds you of them...and it hurts because you wonder what you did that was so wrong that they would rip your heart out like that." he said sadly before looking to Hinata. "Sakura hurt me and I won't let her ruin you guys the way she did me..."

The two stood in silence for a minute as they tried to process the situation, "I'll talk to him..."she finally said before looking to Naruto.

The blond smiled warmly before giving her a brief hug. "Thanks Hina"

"Yeah whatever" she said before hugging him back. "Just tell him to call before he comes."

"Got it!" he said excitedly before moving to leave.

Hinata waved briefly as he left, sighing heavily when he was out of sight before hopping onto the couch. "Ugh what the hell am I doing?" she said before putting a pillow over her face.

Naruto walked up the stairs to his friend's apartment, feeling great about his victory. When he reached the top he saw Sasuke sitting outside smoking a cigarette with a bottle of whiskey beside his leg. His hair was messy and he was starting to pick up a five o'clock shadow.

"Well don't you look great?" the blond teased as he walked closer.

"Fuck you..." replied the grumpy man as he continued smoking.

"Got you a date with your ex wife." Naruto said leaning against the door as he waited to see what the next response would be.

"Say what?" Sasuke asked as he looked in his friend's direction.

Naruto nodded, "Yeah went to talk to her today and she said she would give you a chance. Chance meanin' she would listen to what you had to say. Oh! And you gotta call her first before you go over."

Sasuke stared at his friend for a moment before looking away. He was extremely grateful for Naruto even though he would never admit it. "Thanks" he said almost in a whisper.

"Ah what was that?" Naruto teased.

"I said thanks asshole" he said arrogantly before chuckling softly.

Naruto laughed before picking up the whiskey bottle and taking a sip. "No problem, but you know you're gonna have to clean up a when you go right?" he teased.

Sasuke laughed along with the blond before taking a long drag off his cigarette, thinking to himself he was glad he had Naruto as his friend. He definitely was grateful for this opportunity and wasn't going to do anything to screw it up.

Sakura was walking through the village when she stumbled on her old sensei. "Hey"

Kakashi looked up from his book to Sakura's direction, "Hey there, how are you?"

"I'm good, just coming from the flower shop." she said as she sat down beside him.

"Ok" he said plainly before going back to his reading.

"Where's Anko sensei?" she asked curiously.

"She's at the office doing some paperwork..." he said as he flipped to the next page. "Naruto is in town" he added.

"Yeah I know I met with him last night. Well actually I ran into him on my way to Sa-" she said cutting herself off.

Kakashi picked up on that last part and decided to put his book away. He hadn't really confronted her or Sasuke about the situation. "Sakura you're an intelligent woman, and I'm sure you know right from wrong." he stated. "So why is it that you are still doing wrong when you know it isn't right?"

"Sasuke is made for me sensei... I know it." she proclaimed.

"Usually when a person is made for you they tend to feel the same way you do at some point." he said frankly. "Now correct me if I'm wrong but Sasuke fell for Hinata within minutes of meeting her while you couldn't get him to look at you and you've known him for years. Why do you think that is?"

Sakura stood up from the bench and gave her sensei a glare. "We are the most compatible!" she shrieked. "Look at all the things I've accomplished compared to Hinata. I'm the understudy of the fucking hokage for god sake."

Kakashi looked up at the girl for a moment before shaking his head, as if to say he was very disappointed in how much she had changed. "Just because you're compatible doesn't mean you belong together and I seriously hope for your sake you're not underestimating people because you think you're better than they are. Titles mean nothing and I shouldn't have to explain that to you." he said slightly annoyed before taking out his book and going back to his reading. "She will always mean more to him than you ever will... and I think you already know that." he added.

The girl was so shocked from his honesty that all she could do was just stand and stare. She knew Kakashi wasn't the type of person to hold anything back, but she definitely wasn't expecting him to say it to her like that. "I'm not giving up on him…" she said before turning and stomping away angrily. Even though she knew he was right there was no way that she was going to throw in the towel now.

Yeah you tell her Kakashi! Haha I hope you guys liked the new chapter! Let me know what you think by leaving a review for me.
