Sorry for taking so long everyone please don't hate me too much. I had college and stuff so that had to come first. Anyways, I hope you like it don't forget to review and tell what you think! :D
Morning came and brought a ton of heat. If there was one thing the Hyuga hated it was definitely heat. She kicked off the sheets with a loud huff before just staring at the ceiling.
"Hot!" she'd say in frustration as she wiped the beads of sweat from her brow.
The sheets seemed to stick to her body like a glove and maybe if it was cooler it would feel great, but now it just added to how hot it was. She slipped out of the bed onto the hard wooden floor sighing with relief as she felt the coolness relieve her body of the suffocating heat. Today was a day off for her, not by her choice but Lady Tsunade's. She thought the young girl was working too much and she couldn't have one of her skilled fighters getting worn out. Hinata was mostly by herself nowadays, the solitude was a way to heal. No pretending, just being herself wholeheartedly. There was no one that she really wanted to be around, nor would anyone understand that she liked her solitude if they were around.
This made her remember when she used to be with Sasuke. He was the only person in the world, who really understood her. He knew when to leave her alone and when to give her a loving kiss to remind her that he was there. She honestly doesn't think that she'll ever form a bond like that with anyone again. Most of the time she wondered if he ever really knew what he did when he ruined their marriage. Though part of the reason was the cheating, it was more the fact that he violated her belief in him.
Hinata sighed as she thought about all that took place between them before pulling herself from the floor. She walked into the kitchen to get some tea going. Filling the kettle, placing it on the stove, before grabbing her favorite mug and a tea bag out of the box on the counter to place in it.
"Hmm what to do?" she asked herself as she played with a few strands of hair.
This heat was making her feel for a swim and that thought led her down another road of memories. Shinpu Lake is in a secluded part of the forest close by the Hyuga manor. When she was little she went there for times of relaxation and of course an escape from her dull home. Whenever her father was feeling extra mean, she would dash into the forest to get away from his wrath and the lake would be there to greet her. It was as though the water healed her of every pain, from emotional to physical. A smile crept across her lips as she pictured her younger self splashing about in the water. Her giggles from that time echoing through her ears until she was brought back to reality by the whistle of the kettle. She picked it up carefully and poured the water into the mug.
"I guess its the lake today then…" she whispered to herself before blowing a light breath over the tea and taking a sip.
Kakashi sat in the tree next to Anko's window. He was trying to get some reading done but he couldn't help but steal glances at his sleeping girlfriend. She looked so peaceful, her hair wrapped around her face, smooth pink lips slightly apart and the sheets barely covering her body. This was love...he knew it and he couldn't escape it. He had been with many women but she was so different. Most girls acted like they needed someone but she...she didn't need a damn thing and that was so sexy. He couldn't get enough of her. She had his heart forever and that usually is a very dangerous thing.
He watched her stir a little bit and immediately moved to her side to lean down and place a soft kiss on her head. "Good Morning" he cooed as his thumb moved lightly over her cheek.
The girl's eyes flickered open before closing again, smiling as she felt his thumb on her cheek. "Mm good morning…" she replied groggily.
"You're beautiful…" he whispered to her as he moved the hair off her face.
"And you're cheesy" she responded before giggling softly. Her eyes now opening to see his gorgeous face. This was also pretty new for her too. She was more the independent type, didn't ever believe that she would have someone. Of course she was picky, but she always loved a strong man who could be gentle and thats exactly what Kakashi was.
Kakashi couldn't help but chuckle as he looked at her, still stroking her cheek. "But you love it though." he teased as he moved to place little kisses on her neck, knowing she was ticklish there.
Anko giggled even more before hugging his head, "Stop!" she squealed as she giggled some more.
He chuckled when she hugged his head and would just start placing soft kisses all over her face before kissing her softly, "Breakfast?" he asked.
"Of course" she replied as she gave him a peck on his nose.
Midday was approaching now and Hinata was busy packing the last couple of things she needed for the lake. She put her hair up in a ponytail before exiting the apartment to head off for her destination. In a few minutes, she walked upon the Hyuga manor sighing as she looked at the big gates that hid the place from the rest of the world. This place used to be a prison for her and now she was free to have nothing to do with it, another thing she had Sasuke to thank for. She pulled herself from staring before walking off into the deep forest, taking to the branches so she could reach the lake quicker.
It was as though her body knew where to go as she leapt from tree to tree and in a few short moments she arrived at the little lake smiling as she looked at the crystal like water. It was still so beautiful, everything was so green, the water clear, and best of all...it was quiet. The Hyuga wasted no time, she immediately dropped her bag and took off her shirt and shorts revealing quite the skimpy bathing suit but what the hell? she was sure no one would come here...or so she thought. She walked over to the side of the bank and dipped her foot to test out the water. Once satisfied she walked in, sighing happily as she felt the cool water surround her body until she was fully submerged.
Hinata smiled as she looked around, spinning around happily in the water before resurfacing. She splashed about, swimming as she let the water 'cure' her. All this time, and it took heat to bring her to such an amazing place again. The girl was so busy enjoying the water she didn't even notice that she was being watched from the trees. Her guard was completely down because she didn't think anyone would ever try and come into the forest close to the Hyuga manor.
She lay floating on the water before a thought came to her mind. She remembered something she used to do as a young girl and now felt the urge to try it again and would exit the water to stand at the bank. A sigh escaped her before she closed her eyes, focusing all the chakra in her feet, once that was done she stepped onto water smiling before she ran to the middle. Her body moved into a stance that would seem to signal she was about to dance, hands moving fluidly around her body before she moved around the lake in a ballet like manner.
Little droplets of water moved around her as she happily pranced across the surface of the water. She was so happy, it was as though she revisited her childhood. The Hyuga allowed the dance to consume her whole being.
The man that was watching seemed mesmerized, he'd never seen anything like that since his childhood. The girl from that night...could she be her? he thought to himself before hopping down from his tree, now out in the open as he watched her, moving closer.
Once Hinata did her final spin she noticed the guy and immediately turned red, losing all concentration which caused her to lose her focus and instantly dropped underneath the water. After a few minutes of freaking out underwater she resurfaced with a red face. "Who are you?!" she asked enraged as she looked over at him.
He couldn't help but chuckle softly when he noticed her embarrassment which was very obvious. "My name is Sai" he replied as he crossed his arms over his chest. "And you are?"
"Its not very nice to spy on people Sai!" she'd say before swimming over to the bank to hop out of the water, covering her body as she walked over to her bag to get a towel out and wrap it around herself.
"And its not nice to steal a person's favorite place" he'd reply as he watched her walk past him. She had an amazing body thats for sure.
Hinata looked up at him a little shocked and at a loss for words before saying, "I-I didn't steal it! Its not like it was yours!" as she looked at him a bit flustered.
"Well then I wasn't spying…"he'd say grinning before taking his bag off his back to put on the ground. "You know you still haven't told me your name…"
"Hinata…"she'd say as she looked over at him, still clutching the towel that was around her body.
Sai smiled when he heard her name as he unzipped his bag, "Its a pleasure to meet you." he'd say to her as he pulled out a book from the bag. "May I ask a favor?"
"Depends on what you're asking of me?" she replied with a serious expression.
"Rest easy, its nothing bad. Just some questions I wanna ask." he ensured before standing up straight.
Hinata sighed as she looked at him before nodding in response to the request.
"Ok well have you come here before? Like when you were younger?" he asked curiously as he flipped through the book to the sketch he wanted.
Once again she looked at him for a minute, wondering why he would ask her that before nodding again.
"Perfect" he'd say before turning the picture in her direction, walking closer so she could see better. "Then this is you…"
Hinata peered at the picture, noticing it was her from the haircut. It was beautiful.
"I saw you and I couldn't help myself. The image of you dancing was stuck in my head since that day. Your dancing is truly a sight to see." he'd say with a smile as he looked at her before looking back to the picture.
"Its amazing" she whispered, never thinking that she would be apart of something so beautiful.
Compliments weren't new to him but somehow there was an exciting feeling that came to him when Hinata did it. "Thank you" he responded. It was as though he wanted to draw more just so he could get her praise. He soon shut the book before walking over to his bag so he could put it back in its chamber.
She watched him as he walked over to the bag before grabbing her shirt and shorts, putting them on in the meantime.
"So those eyes…" he started before zipping the bag so he could turn to her. "You're an Hyuga."
"Very observant aren't you?" she asked as she pulled the shirt over her head.
"Well I sort of have to be since I'm an artist." he quipped.
"Yes, unfortunately but I am no longer apart of that prison." she'd say as she let her hair down.
"How did you manage to free yourself?" he asked though he didn't know why. Usually he was never this curious.
"Through marriage...my father didn't really like it since I was supposed to marry another Hyuga. But since it was to a Uchiha it would be good for him in the end to mix the bloodlines." she explained before letting out a sigh. "But the Uchiha broke his promise."
"Promise?" he asked wanting to hear more.
"To be faithful to me…" she'd say, a hint of sadness in her voice. "But thats over and done with now. I'm not married to the bastard anymore."
Sai sighed realizing he brought up a bad subject, "I'm sorry to hear that, but it seems he didn't deserve you in the first place."
"Yeah…" she'd say as she stared down at her feet.
"You about to head home?" he asked.
"I think I just might" she replied as she zipped up her backpack to hoist onto her back.
"May I walk you back?" he asked politely.
"Sure" she'd say with a little smile before they started on their way.
Sakura sat in her apartment, wondering what she could do. She got dressed and exited her apartment to go for a stroll. It was frightening for her to be alone in her apartment it made it her anxious...like she had no friends. On her stroll she decided to stop by a nearby stand, glancing over at the two women who seemed to be talking before picking through the fruit.
"So did you hear?!" she heard one say which made her listen in even more.
"Inuzuka, the guy that always walks around with that monstrous dog brought the Hyuga out on a date" the gossiper explained.
"Shut up" the other girl responded, covering her mouth as if she were in disbelief.
"I shit you not. But you won't even believe what else." the gossiper pushed as she leaned in closer to her friend.
"What? Come on tell me!"
"Apparently they kissed!" the gossiper squeak as she let out a little giggle.
"But didn't she just get divorced from that like insanely hot Uchiha guy?" the other one asked curiously.
"Yeah that's what makes it so juicy and today I saw the Hyuga girl walking with some other guy. I guess she's coping just fine" the main gossiper said making a little face.
Sakura grinned evilly to herself, thanking the gods she'd been blessed with this information. Maybe this will help Sasuke 'cope' as well she thought to herself.
Sorry I took forever to write this chapter forgive meeeee . I had school and stuff!
