Chapter V
"Your calling 'A' !?" a man yelled out
"Yes and no" Snake replied
"What do you mean yes and no!?" another asked
"I mean he sent me an email asking us if we needed help," Snake sighed "and I agreed"
"We don't need 'A' !" Falcon screamed out
"Yes, we do." Samus interrupted Falcon's moment of glory "I hate to say it, but we do." she bit her lip as she looked at her fellow officers "we have no idea who or what we're up against!"
"I'm with Samus this Marusu guy is more than we bargained for if we go running blindly into a battle with him we're going to lose" Link introduced "We can't afford to lose against the Marusu character. It will result in us losing our lives" he continued
"But if he's so powerful. We're going to lose anyway, and die with people remembering us as heroes" Falcon stated
"If we bothered to think, we won't lose as many people unlike if we run in like fools" Samus interrupted with common sense
"Samus is right if we take the time to learn about our enemy we'll live longer," Link said slamming his fist on the table.
"Know your enemy, and in 100 battles you shall win," Pit said quoting The Art of War
"That's totally true nice one Pit" Snake congratulated Pit on being smart
"Well, now that Pit, Link, and Samus won that little debate. 'A' expects us" Snake said handing out the 'Easy Listener Devices' as a giant letter 'A' appeared on the Screen above small microphones were placed in front of each person
"So where is 'A' ?" Falcon said standing up pushing the button on his microphone unknowingly
"No need to scream Falcon. I'm right here" a calm morphed voice said from inside Falcon's head
"A' talks to us through these Easy Listener Device (ELD) and he can hear us through the microphones on the table in front of us" Pit stated matter of factly
"But how does he know it's us?" another officer questioned looking confused
"The security cameras" Pit said flatly
"Well done Icarus, I can't believe you remembered all that. Oh and nice to see you again" 'A' said proudly
"Nice to hear from you too 'A', It's been a long time" Pit smiled as he saw the confused look on Falcon's face
"You two know each other?" the older man looked surprised
"I've been on the force way longer than you, so the rookie in our team is you Falcon" Pit smirked
"So 'A' what do you know about this guy Marusu?" Snake said into his microphone
"All I have figured out is he is a genuine devil or a man that made a deal with the devil" the voice
"So we can't stop him?"
"Now hold on I'm not completely sure, but I am positive he isn't normal" 'A' responded
"So we may be dealing with someone on steroids?" Samus asked
"I doubt it if he was on steroids we would have noticed" Pit pointed out
"It could be someone on some kind of drug" Link stated
"Drugs? Hyrulea you're on drugs! why drugs?"
"Drugs can change a person. It messes with their mind, and lets them think they're superhuman"
"Link has a point the mind can do incredible things, the thing that gets in our way is our fear" Samus stated
"But if someone is on drugs that lose that fear losing the limits of reality" Link continued
"Although that may be true, I don't think he's on drugs" 'A' spoke
"What about hypnotherapy or hypnosis?" Pit said to no one in particular
"What do you mean Pit?" 'A' asked
"What if he hypnotized himself into thinking he has no fear. That gives him that no limitation that drugs provide with the sharp mind that meaning intelligence and or awareness" Pit continued
"That makes some sense, nice one Pit" all his fellows cheered him
"Well, whatever the cause for his abilities may be. We need to find out where he is first" Snake said
"Well, how hard can that be he's a Bluenette!" Falcon said
"That has nothing to do with it, blue hair is quite common, besides it's quite a bold statement don't you think, I mean if the police arrested every person with blue hair for questioning it would make us appear as if we have no idea what we're doing" 'A' continued
"'A' has a point there Falcon I mean it would be a huge give away" Samus started
"I'm positive he's a teenager though" Link pitched in
"Explain" 'A' insisted
"Well think about it for a sec, not only does he look young the fact that he only appears at night maybe because he goes to school"
"Link's got a point I mean if you look at his time pattern he appears early during the week but after Friday night he goes all out" Samus chimed in
"The weekend too cause once the sun goes down he appears that is until Monday" another officer added
"So we agreed he's a teen?" Snake asked
Simultaneous 'yeses' and 'yeah's came from the group of cops
"What about you 'A'? do you agree?" Snake asked
"That makes sense I agree on that thought"
"What are we to do now?" Falcon asked
"You may all leave" 'A' said as people started to get out of their chairs and left the building leaving there ELDs behind until only Pit Samus and Link where leaf sitting in their chairs at last Falcon was the last to leave going on about how 'this was a waste of time and a bunch of bull' … Pit took out the bottle of Sunny-D and leaned back in his chair
"What ya waiting for?"Link asked Pit
"Bonus scene" Pit said with a smile
"Huh?" was all Samus and Link had time for before the sound of clapping was heard within their ears (the ELDs)
"I know you weren't done yet" Pit smiled at the screen
"Well I didn't expect you two to stay" 'A' said in a pleased tone of voice
"We could have guessed you said 'you may leave' you didn't say we had to" Link grinned
"Your smarter then you look, well you had a point that he is a teen and I have no doubt he attends he attended Saint Smash High, my reasoning is he never leaves this part of town which means everything he needs is here in Smashville"
"So what does that mean for us?" Link asked
"It means we need to infiltrate the school grounds and find Marusu" 'A' exclaimed
"I can pass as a freshman or sophomore" Pit added eagerly
"What about us?" Samus said motioning to her and Link
"I'll find places for you two" 'A' began "For now you three … go home and you'll have to report here at 7:00 am tomorrow"
"See ya tomorrow," they all said in unison as they walked out the door
A figure sat in front of a laptop's one side had a complete view of the SPD counsel room the rest of it showed an internet page showing some kind of record. at the top of the screen, it read Sant Smash High as the figure tapped away at the keyboard
"Two kids, two staff, shouldn't be that hard"
Marth's pen flew back and forth copying every inch of writing on the board
"Okay class put down your pencils and pens and face the front of the class
'Hmmm, I wonder if she's having a pop quiz … I hope not Marusu didn't let me study he had to steal again' he faced the front of the class then the intercom turned on
"listen up kids as of today we will have school police as of the incident of last week-" her voice had a slight edge
Marth remembered and almost flushed at the mention of the day Marusu almost took control of him and he totaled a few cars, some lockers, and a few walls
"-they will be keeping an eye on the school day or night so … don't fuck up to get it, anyone, they find I won't hesitate to let them take your stupid asses to the slammer gets it! Ok … have a nice day"
'Well that was a very kind message' Marth thought to himself
"Class we have two new students," the teacher said as two figures entered the room
'Hay he looks like …'

AN/ wow I uh forgot just how bad this story was … well, I still like the whole causing thousands of property damage and go completely unnoticed thing. this chapter's real date was lost but I know it was written sometime late 2012. Also, I don't plan to change anything as much as it pains me I can't find the strength to change my first fanfic. well, anyways I hope you enjoyed.
