Chapter VI
'Now this is too weird. That kid looks just like that cop I saw yesterday… same eyes, same nose, same face, but this kids blonde' Marth thought
"Class this is our new students," the teacher said gesturing to the two new kids
"Hi I'm Angel Paluten," said the young man. He looked no older than fifteen so how was he a sophomore?
'He must have good test scores, so he must be smart. judging on how peppy he must be a social butterfly, and seeing he's not hard to look at, so he must be good with chicks, … there's something wrong with him'
"Angel take a seat next to Roy please," the teacher said as he did so
"Hi I'm Ike Grail," the other said
'He's huge, so he must work out. Meaning he's a tough guy, and he looks pretty old, so he must have been held back. I can't trust this guy, but I should get to know him first. That goes for him and the other guy, … Angel, I think"
"Ike take the seat next to Marth please," said the teacher, and he did so
"What we doing?" Ike said giving Marth an 'I have no clue' look
"Page 150 in the textbook answer numbers 1-7" he replied in a whisper
As he did so he looked over the pages, and was done or had given up in only two minutes
'That was fast. He's either really smart or really sad'
At lunch, Ike looked lost, but Angel looked less confused as he was asked to join every table
"Hey ya need somewhere ta-sit?" he heard Roy say
"Yo thanks" Pit said sitting next to Roy
"Need somewhere at sit?" Marth called out to Ike that just stood there. Ike said nothing as he sat down across from Pit and the others
"So how was English on your first day of school?" Marth said to the Newcomers
"it was okay I guess I didn't get 8, 9, and 10, so I tried to ask but everyone I asked just looked at me" Pit said in an 'I hate it when this happens' tone of voice
"We were only supposed ta-do 1-7" Roy snickered
The rest of the day went fine until the end of sixth period ( P.E.) Marth went to the locker room to change out of their P.E. uniform when he was ambushed by his usual. (Note\ Marth is a high school student. a smart kid AKA- A+ student, he usually wears glasses, he's nice, and a pacifist so being all these things he's going to get bullied A LOT!)
"Hey four eyes!" a deep masculine voice called out to him but he refused to turn around until a hand grabbed the back of his shirt
"I'm sorry; I wasn't aware you were talking to me because last time I checked my name is not four eyes"
"Ya know I don't like you attitude Four Eyes," the man said lifting Marth up so there face to face
"Dude … you need a Tic Tac" Marth said shifting away from the man's/abnormally huge boy or teen's face
"You insulting me small-fry"
"I love the new nickname how long it takes you to notice I'm not wearing glasses?"
"Pummel that loser!" came from someone in a big group
Ike was walking by and noticed the scuffle. He stared at his wristwatch and decided he had time. He took a look inside. To see ten tall men surrounding the young boy that tried to befriend him.
(Marth's thoughts)
"Let me have a try. It's not like you're getting anywhere. Let me handle this"
'No I don't need you. I can take it'
"Don't lie to yourself, Little Wolf. You need me. I'll let you use my strength if you just say it 'you're afraid'"
'I am afraid, but I don't need you. You kill people, and I'm not a killer'
"You don't need to kill them. Just cause them pain, and I can give you the power to cause them pain"
'Can I be in control? if I'm going to hurt them, I don't want you to hurt them too badly'
"Hey, Marth these guys bothering you?" Ike's voice interrupted Marth's thoughts
"What's it to y-ya?" the boy said turning around to see Ike
"Well see ya" they all screamed running out as fast as possible
"Thank you, Ike. You saved me I owe you one" Marth said walking up to Ike
"Why don't you change and I'll meet you outside"
"sure," he said running to get changed. In only ten minutes Marth ran out of the door and saw Ike sitting at a table doing something, but his back was to Marth so he had no idea. So he tried to sneak up on Ike to try to see what he was doing. He was using his laptop, and he looked amused by what he was reading
"Marusu the Human Devil" it read "Three gangs at least seven hundred people died at the hands of a masked man/teen by the name of Marusu Aku Kurayami."
Marth was about to read more before Ike closed his laptop.
"You like snooping?" he asked looking up
"Sorry I was just curious. I have to thank you again for what you did back there"
"You looked like you were going to snap. I had to do something"
"snap?"
"A moment in which an individual loses control due to pressure," Ike said taping Marth on the head with a pencil he had
"What gave you the impression that I would snap?" Marth said raising an eyebrow "I'll have you know I'm strictly against violence"
"So. If you put too much pressure on steel, it'll bend" Ike argued
"So why were you looking up a newspaper article on Marusu?" Marth asked trying to change the subject
"Changing the subject are we? Very well It just so happened to be today's story"
"I doubt it. That story was posted yesterday"
"Tell me, Marth, do you have something you want," he asked looking at Marth as if he was reading a summary of a good book
"To keep Zelda out of danger" 'and to get rid of Marusu' Marth said keeping his thoughts in his head
"Zelda?"
"My girlfriend," Marth said blushing slightly
"And you want to keep her away from danger?"
"That's right"
"What danger? Because when someone wants to keep something or someone away from danger it's because it's the protector that's attracting the danger" Ike said a devilish twinkle in his eye
"What do you mean?"
"When one wants to protect something he is keeping it from the danger that is attracted to the protected object; however, if one is keeping one away from that means that the keeper is the cause for the one to be in danger," he said a smirk crossing his face
"You're smarter than you look. No offense"
"And you're hiding something," Ike said looking straight into Marth's eyes
"I'm not going to answer that," Marth said looking straight into Ike's eyes
"Trust me. we all have secrets, but you have to tell someone"
"We all have secrets, but not like me. not like this" He turned around away from Ike and began to walk away
"You know who he is, or where he's hiding. Can you at least tell me what he wants" Ike said in a calm tone grabbing Marth's shoulder
"He wants Ankoku" and that was all Marth ran off
Pit, Samus, and Link sat in a closed movie theater. Theater five wasn't showing a movie that day, so nobody was supposed to be there, but that wouldn't stop our little trio
"Link! you bought popcorn?" Pit said in a 'you're an idiot' voice as he and Samus facepalmed
"What? I get hungry" Link said noticing his friends
"Um Pit you sure 'A' said theater #5?" Samus asked noticing the closed sign they ignored on there way in
"Yeah 'A' said #5, see," Pit said holding out his cell phone with a text message that proved him right
"Well let us sit down," Link said taking the center set
Pit and Samus sat next to them as the scream turned on, and a fluffy lion cub/chibi lion cub trotted across the loading bar chasing a butterfly. It crashed into the side of the screen when the bar was full the chibi curled up and fell asleep as little z's appeared and vanished along with the lion cub revealing a beautiful teenager that looked about 18 years old with long blonde hair with red tips, eyes as blue as the night sky, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt that only went up to her belly button exposing her belly, the skirt was only about hand length that was also black a silver ascot. It resembled the sailor suit they had at the school but it was black and silver it was kinda skimpy under her short skirt, she had silver tights or leggings, and the heirs that should dangle over her shoulders was tied in the back of her head with a small black rose shaped hairpin.
"I am glad you didn't get stopped by security," the girl said in a monotone voice
" 'A'?" Pit said in confusion
"I am Vocaloid 'A'"
"so 'A' was a computer? I KNOW IT!" Link screamed as he stood up
"Link think for a sec maybe it's an avatar" Pit tried to calm Link down
"I love the lion cub, it was so cute," Samus said referring to the loading bar
As the four were busy talking they didn't notice a redhead sneak in and sit next to Pit
"Hey dude what I miss?" he asked the brunette
"An adorable kitten running into the wall in the attempts to catch a butterfly" Pit said not paying attention
"Dammit I always miss the funny/cute stuff" he pouted
"… Roy!?" Pit said looking at the redhead
"Sup" he smiled at Pit
"Dude this place is-" 'I can't say it is closed then I need to explain what are we doing here, but I can't let him stay here then he might … wait what am I scared of, I'm a COP'
"Roy, how did you get in here?" Pit asked
"I snuck in …For Free" Roy said proudly
"You know that's a crime," Pit said narrowing his eyes
"Then what are you doing here? …its closed" Roy smirked
"So 'A' why did you call us here?" Pit said ignoring the question
'That's right, ignore the question' Roy slowly nodded approval
"That's right I have found and confirmed, what Marusu is after" the Vocaloid responded
"What?" they all sat at the edge of their seats
"Ankoku"
"What the hell is Ankoku?" Samus said confused
"You mean the Devil's sword?" Pit asked somewhat shocked
"Yes I know little of the sword, but Pit can you enlighten us?" 'A' asked in a strange monotone
"the story is supposed to start far before our time. The time of the Shadow Tribe" Pit started
"The people of the Shadow Tribe were said to have strange connections to both the gods of heaven and the demons of hell. It was said that those that made alliances with the demons of hell would send famine and disease to their neighboring rivals. And those that worked with the gods of heaven would ask for a good harvest and wonderful life stock. A common belief was that gods were holly and demons were devious and if you believed otherwise you were to be tortured until you can think straight. However, some people claimed that they were visited and spoken to by the god of hell. Now, normally this person was supposed to be taken for cleansing as they called it. However, this man claimed that he was to suffer because the priests thought him a crazy fool so the devil told him to grab a block of steel and go around committing sins. So the man did so he murdered men women children and pregnant women for what he called fun. Three days before he was to be taken the god of hell came to him and said "you have done well now I want you to forge that block of steel and make me a sword for when I arrive I can prove to them that you were right, and there is a god of hell. I will appear to you again to tell you how to finish your task. The man agreed and did so he used jewelry that he took from his victims and gold that he had stolen and that block of steel was really a block of silver. After two and a half days the sword was finished and it was said that the devil appeared to the man as promised but the devil didn't take it instead he placed the sword inside the man. The man was confused and went to both a doctor and a priest but when the priest tried to cleanse the man he turned it to a demon and turned to stone until the day the devil rises from the earth. Now it is said that only the devil can wield the sword."
"Is that the case well I think Marusu is truly after the sword. I have a plan" at 'A's plan all four sat at the edge of their seats so much that Roy fell off his
"Here's the plan" 'A' smiled
SR: "sorry if I'm boring you with all this story time but it's the best I can do I'm new okay. Well, hope you enjoyed it and review, please. OR THE LION CUB GETS IT! Okay bye."
