Chapter XI
"big brother" a little girl skipped over to a young boy with platinum blonde hair dressed in fine black clothing
"Hailey what are you doing?" he smiled at her then he knelt in front of her, as the five-year-old placed a crown of some sort of wight flowers on his head. He smiled as she continued to frolic in the field of flowers.
He leaned down in the tangle of branches when something caused him to bolt up and leap out of the trees. A strange sound called him into the dense forest.
Kyon charged into the darkness of the endless trees until he came into the presence of two figures one was a young girl about thirteen years of age, auburn hair, silver yellow eyes, silver tunic, black leggings, and hunting boots. A bow was in her hands, the bow known as Junsui Tamashi. In her weakened state, she held it up pointing it an arrow at a demon of some sort. However, her wounds were far too deep for her to handle.
Kyon thinking quickly without considering the consequences of his actions landed a roundhouse kick on the creature's spine. As a result, he didn't see the surprise attack by the beast's tail.
"you can't best a demon like that … you're just human after all" he heard the young girl said weakly.
"and you think you can … god or not your wounded" he said dodging a swipe from one of the creatures clowns. He figured if she called him a human that must mean she was some sort of divine entity.
"true" she leaned up and held out her bow "so stand aside and let me take care of it" she tried her best to pull her bowstring back
'god or not she's not strong enough' without thinking he tackled her to the ground looking into her eyes, there gaze was locked on each other's eye she didn't notice his hand ship the bow out of her grip. Her face turned a light red seeing as there noses where touching, yeah they were that close. He gave her a charming smile when he stood up and turned his back to her. He picked something up off the ground, only then did she realize that … he stole her bow. She tried to stop him but the pain was too strong,
With a sneaky smirk, he said "I'm going to take this if you don't mind"
If she had any complaints she kept them to herself. Kyon held the bow over his head pointing to the heavens, as he lowered his arm down he pulled his other hand behind his ear taking the bowstring with it. An arrow of shimmering moonlight appeared, Kyon grinned "I had a feeling it was you Artemis" he smirked as he let the arrow fly. As it made contact with the demon a bright light pierced the beast's flesh, Kyon stared in awe at the lifeless stone that was once a bloodthirsty monster.
He turned around to return the bow to its owner, only to find an empty forest.
"the name of that bow is Junsui Tamashi it can only be used by a pure spirit as its name implies, use it to protect your tribe of the dangerous creatures it will purify anything it touches. Take care of it and yourself … Prince Kyon Shadowwalker of the Shadow Tribe" Kyon heard her voice in his head then he looked up at the light orange sky and smiled

Stars and swirls of light spun in Roy's head as his father opened the bathroom door managing to hit his son right in the face
"damn it son! I told you to lock the door when you use the restroom, especially when I'm home" his father said closing the door
Roy put a hand to his face, he had spaced out again. The same damn daydream. Ever since he went on a school field trip to the Smashvil Museum, where he and his class had gone there because the teacher ran out of material to teach his do-nothing-class. While there wandering aimlessly he had stumbled upon the 'new exhibit', it was new to Roy but it was at least a year and a half old. There he saw that shiny bow, where he had a feeling like he knew all this already everything about the bow, the two blades, the reef, the mask, everything about the Shadow Tribe in general.
'the heavens, I nearly died but survived. I wonder, Did I do that? Was it luck? Or was it my destiny? Did the gods need me? I wonder was that near-death experience a sign? This is starting to bug me'
"Pit? Hello, are you there?" Pit snapped back into reality almost dropping the sandwich in his hand, then he looked around to try and remember what was going on before he spaced out. Trees- he was in the park, blanket, and food- he was on a picnic, there was a young pretty girl at his side sitting next to him- he was on a date.
"sorry Peach just got lost there for a sec" he Smiled sweetly at her
"Well?" she asked looking worried
He took a bite out of his sandwich and couldn't help but take another billeting out a small 'mmmmm'
"do-do you like it?" she asked
"like it" he sounded insulted
"I love it," he said without noticing he said it with an open mouth, this forced Peach to giggle
Pit's phone went off playing the Kid Icarus theme. Pit pulled out his phone and looked at the caller ID with curious eyes, Pit looked up at Peach with apologetic eyes. "I'm sorry I have to take this … I'm really sorry"
"it's okay" she smiled sweetly, then he opened the phone turning around and putting the phone to his ear
"Hello?"
"Hey, what's up? I haven't -"
"what? … now?"
"well no … actually no"
"look I was in the middle of something"
"okay …Link's house?"
"but what-"
"fine … at what time?"
"okay I'll be there"
"okay … later" he closed the phone then looked at Peach
"what was that?" she asked innocently
"oh just a friend asked me and a few friends to get together later, but don't worry about it" he smiled then looked at her. Then crossed his arms
"Peach did you take my sandwich?" he asked in a playful pout
She smiled innocently at him
Link swung his left hand forward in an underhanded motion
'2 points!' the TV shouted
"your turn Tink" Link smiled as he handed the white rectangular controller to his little brother
Link turned his attention to his redhead friend
"so did your dad kick you out again?"
"phew NO … maybe" he said looking away from his blonde friend
"hay have you seen Marth lately?" Link asked of the ginger
"I thought Zelda might know … to be honest I haven't seen him since that day he shot up in the middle of Helth class" Roy said scratching the back of his head. Then Young ran up to Roy holding out the remote
"I feel weird being the only right-handed person in this game," he said making an underhanded swing.
'STRIKE!' sounded the TV as Link's little brothers stared in awe, while Link just grinned
"you got better"
"maybe," he said not looking at anyone in particular
The doorbell rang playing 'Zelda's Lullaby' and Link walked up to the door as Roy went to the restroom.
"Ike what brings you here?, the last time I saw you were-" Link said letting the blueness into his house.
"do you know a place where we can talk?" he cut Link off. Ike sat in an empty chair then looks at the two little boys.
"you can continue without your brother, he has some business to take care of" he stared intently at Link and added
"right Link?"
"umm … right?" Link said nervously
"so where can we speak?" Ike asked of the pointy-eared young man
"well there is the basement … I mean if you don't mind?" Link said hesitantly
"the basement will do just fine" Ike stood up and waited for Link to lead the way
"wait? Ike, what's going on?" Link asked Ike as he leads the bluenet to the stairs that lead to the basement
"Pit will meet with us shortly," Ike said as he descended into the unlit stairway first
"Pit? Wait for Ike what's going on?" Link said descending down the stairs after the bluenet
SR: "Well there you go chapter # 10. If no one noticed I used Artemis from Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Pit x Peach you should've seen it coming. And before Roy kills me for calling him ginger, Can you guess what Link, Roy, and his little brothers were playing? How about the system?"
Roy: "Shadow Rose! What did you say?"
*Roy breaks down the door*

AN/ I always liked Kyon's more cocky attitude but maybe that's just me. and you don't have to answer any of the questions old Rosey asks you … I don't know why I asked them, it just makes me feel like I hid little references when I'm pretty sure it's obvious. Plus I feel I might have dated this story based on the references in it. speaking of dates this chapter was originally finished in okay I have no idea assume late 2012.
