Chapter XIV
"Link, you and Pit go confront Marth, me and Samus will go get Zelda" Ike explained giving orders as he got in Link's car
"wait why Zelda?" Link asked furrowing his brow
"Zarth is Marth's girlfriend right?" Ike asked
"yeah but …" Link said confused
"then maybe she can snap Marth back into his right mind" Samus added
"well, when you put it that way …"Link said scratching his chin
"he only listened because Samus said it" Pit added
"shut up or I'll-" Link threatened
"Link" Samus held up a hand and Link pouted and With that, her car drove off leaving the three on the sidewalk in front of the hospital.
"um guys she was our only ride," Roy said finally breaking the silence leaving the other two looking dumbfounded
"well my house is far from this side of the city" Pit argued
"oh I think my dad has a storage garage," Roy said running in a certain direction. The other two saw no other place to go so they followed Roy.
After a brisk jog, they found Roy pushing up a garage door open. They eventually opened the door to find two large items with huge white sheets over them. Pulling them off they saw two motorcycles one jet black with silver railing and a silverish headlight. The other was a chestnut red bike with silver railing and the headlight had a blueish rim. Roy pulled open a chest that had three helmets one jet black, the other silver, the last was green.
"Pit you can ride with me," Roy said putting on the black helmet ad he started the black bike
"I guess," Pit said putting on the silver helmet and getting on Roy's bike
"this is kinda weird," Pit said
"not for me cuz I had a girlfriend," Roy said smirking a goofy grin on his face but the helmet covered his face.
"I have a girlfriend too you know" Pit whined as they drove off
"I guess these are for me," Link said as he started the bike and put on the green helmet then drove off after his two friends.
"wait, so you're saying that Marth has been in a mental hospital, broke out and is planning to steal from the Smashville museum," Zelda said in a disbelieving tone
"Zelda he's serious" Samus explained
"I'm not kidding so you best come with us," Ike said calmly
"if what you say is true then what do you want me for?" Zelda asked a little annoyed
"well we figured if you came maybe if you can talk some sense into him," Samus said to her
"if what you say is true which it is most likely not what makes you think I can talk to him?" Zelda said with a half-lidded stare
Ike turned to Samus and asked her "can I speak to her privately" Samus nodded then left the room
Ike turned his attention to Zelda, Her arms crossed looking unimpressed. he took in a deep breath
"put your hands up" officer Falcon emerged from the shadows a gun in his hands, it pointed point blank at Marth's head
"are you here to stop me?" Marth asked not looking at the officer his gaze locked on the sword behind the glass
"I've been hunting you down for the past two years, you think by disappearing for a year that we'll just forget about you well guess again" he took steps closer to the culprit
"I have to thank you, officer," Marusu said with an evil smirk on his face
"what are you talking about?" the officer loosened his grip on his gun in a state of confusion
"I was slightly disappointed because I would have to kidnap an innocent mortal to retrieve what is rightfully mine" at that he vanished
"the sad thing is you're an adult not as pure a child, therefore I'll have to offer more than just your life to break that dammed seal" Falcon tried to keep his calm despite the fact that his right hand was shaking a little, the voice came from everywhere as if there was not just one Marusu but many all watching him.
"but your heart should do nicely" at that the room got darker as if the shadows were going to swallow him whole
Pit struggled to stay on the bike as it came to a sudden stop.
"you can let go of me now" Roy smiled smugly as Pit slapped him upside the head
"shut up" Pit growled "you were speeding, you know I can report you for that"
Link drove up and parked perfectly he removed his helmet to find both his best friends arguing he ignored it and moved up to Pit and took the entry keys to the museum, then walked up to the door to find that it was already open "hey guys looks like someone beat us to the punch" he screamed to his friends
Wasting no time they burst into the building, leaving their helmets at the front desk. All rushed to the Shadow tribe exhibit to find a horrifying sight. Officer Falcon lay on the floor he wasn't moving, an evil laugh forced them to look up. They looked up to find Marth staring entranced at the statue, blood dripping from his hand and the creature's mouth. A small circle was cut from the glass leaving a hole in its protective surface.
"is he?" Link asked in shock
"he is" Pit answered
Roy had seen enough and reached for the bow in the glass box next to him but something was holding him back.
The statue's eyes started glowing an eerie crimson. It's arms opened to reveal the sword giving off an evil aura. Marth's smirked an evil smirk that bore his fangs. The sheer power of the sword was enough to completely shatter the glass case. Marth turned his attention to the trio that stood at the door giving off a look that said they were trying not to be sick. Wrenching the blade from its stone prison and pointed it at the three.
"nice of you to watch me take over this impudent world" Marth grinned sinisterly. Then he leaped in front of Pit and caressed his face.
"to ensure you don't interfere I'll take your life right now" he raced his blade but a sharp pain in his shoulder stopped him. He turned his gaze to find Roy dressed in a jet black cape the prince's bow in his hands. His clothes were drained of color his red T-shirt was now black, his jeans now white. His navy blue sneakers now pitch black boots, his blue sweatband now engraved with gold or platinum it was hard to tell.
"looks like the prince finely appears," Pit says in awe
"Roy was the Prince," Link said in surprise
"you pester me, I'll tell you what, I'll take this boys princess and then I'll come back for you" Marusu hissed before disappearing out the skylight.
"Roy, what was that about?" Link asked in awe
"that doesn't matter right now, Link he's after Zelda, we have to stop him" Roy said
"what! why Zelda?" Link asked a bit confused
"didn't you hear him 'I'll take THIS boys princess' I think he was referring to Marth's Princess a.k.a. Zelda" Roy explained
Link was far more than furious he was so pissed he punched a random glass box unaware that his hand simply faded through the glass and he grabbed the hilt on the blade inside. "that bastard isn't laying a hand on my baby sister" Link growled lifting the blade into the sky
"so you're the knight? I kinda saw it coming when you called him 'your Highness, and it would make sense I mean Zelda's your little sister, therefore, you unknowingly swore to protect her" Pit explained
At that moment a flash of light engulfed Link and when he emerged his wardrobe had also drained of color his skin-tight green T-shirt was now shadow black the thread of the shirt was now a metallic blue just like the lasing on the end of the sleeves, his jeans where now wight, a belt appeared on his waist over the tunic? And over his shoulder was another belt this one had a silver-rimmed black shield with silver engravings and in the center of his shield was the Shadow Tribe's emblem in shining Silver. His green sneakers where now leather brown boots the same color as his belts, he now wore a long pointed hat that hung behind him that reached to about the center of his back, the same color as his tunic. And hanging from his ears were two small Safire hoop earrings no bigger than a Cheerio.
"nice you two have discovered who you truly are" came a voice from the shadows
"Father Knight?" Roy said in confusion
"yes" Meta Knight said stepping out of the shadows
"what are you doing here?" Pit asked
"I was given an epiphany of this telling me the reincarnations of the Shadow Court" the priest said "Prince Kyon Shadowwalker" he said pointing at Roy "First Knight Dylan Allborn" he indicated Link "The Angel Jonathan Sol" he indicated Pit "and General David Graves is on his way with Princess Hailey Shadowwalker" Meta Knight said his gaze looking at the door
"So I'm an angel" Pit said confused
"but in my vision, the angel was found half dead at the hands of the beast," Roy said simply
"Pit, didn't Marusu nearly kill you last time we were here?" Link asked receiving a half-lidded glare from Pit in a way that said 'how could I forget that day? Are you seriously asking me this?'
"wait, you said the general is on his way here with the princess?" Link asked,
"so if Zelda is the Princess then the general must be …" Pit said
SR: "Well there you go Chapter #13, Yes I have a weird song selection. Don't judge me!, I'm not judging you! And yes I just killed Captain Falcon. I wasn't that fond of him. No flames please I'm crashing from all that sugar. Ow headache. Oh yeah, wall read and review. Ow"

AN/ so wow I don't know why my instant response to not liking a character was to kill them off, but I'll be honest I actually could play and even was willing to play as Falcon back in Melee. so I don't know what my problem was. as far as my music choices go. I'm not ashamed I liked those bands and I probably still do, I just haven't listened to them in a long time. I pride myself on being open to all music. Also, this chapter was written late March early April of 2013.
