"Hmmmm" Skipper murmured peering through the binoculars he was holding.
"What is it, Skipper?" Private asked.
"There's a new zoo keeper" Skipper said.
"Kawolski, analysis" Skipper ordered.
"A new zoo keeper, you say" Kawolski said looking puzzled.
"I think we should go check it out" Skipper said checking the binoculars one last time.
The penguins scoped the area. Watching from afar they hid near the trash can.
The new zoo keeper was taking out the trash and was heading straight towards the penguins. The penguins swiftly made their way back to their enclosure.
The penguins agreed to ask the others about the new zoo keeper.
"I haven't said Alice in weeks" Said one of the chimps.
"Hmmmm you don't think" Skipper said
"Alice has been replaced by the new zoo keeper" Kawolski said cutting Skipper off.
They made their way to all the animals to question if they knew why Alice had been replaced. The penguins couldn't come up with any answers. They made their way over to the lemur enclosure.
King Julien looked shaken.
"What's wrong, ringtail?" Skipper said.
"It-it's Alice" King Julien said.
"Have you seen Alice?" Private asked.
"I have seen too much of Alice" King Julien said.
"What do you mean?" Private asked confused.
"I think you guys better leave now" Maurice said putting his hand on Julien's shoulder to comfort him.
The penguins decided they had no other option but to ask their least likely source for information. They walked over to Fred's tree.
"Hey, Fred" Skipper called
"Oh uh hey guys" Fred said in his usual mellow tone.
"Have you seen Alice?" Private asked.
"Uh Alice got sent to jail for doing strange things to the animals" Fred said.
"What kind of strange things?" Skipper asked looking suspicious.
Fred gave him an odd look.
"Oh, I see" Kawolski said.
"What kind of strange things?" Private asked.
"I'll tell you when you're older" Skipper said as they walked back to their enclosure.
