Logan was a Dalish mage along with his younger sister, Tali. And they are both the grandchildren of the keeper of the clan Tearney as well. Logan had always kept an eye on his younger sister Tali.
One day, Logan was sent to see how the Conclave would be able to make both the templars and the mages friends. But, beyond that, there was much more information that Logan needed to gain in order to protect his sister, Tali.
After the orb was stolen by the ancient Tevineter god, Corphyious, the Conclave was blown up and Logan was the only one who survived and staggered out of the fade, better known to the Dalish as the Beyond and Tali knew that he was alive for the moment. But with the Mark on his hand.
She went to help with the healers and Cullen knew that the two were siblings even though she's blind. After the first fight at the Temple Of sacred Ashes, he had to recruit Blackwall, and she tagged along knowing that he and his traveling companions would need her help.
As they found Blackwall, Tali moved just right when an arrow was shot at her and the warden used his shield to protect her and the fighting started. After the fight, Logan asked Blackwall to join the Inquisition when Tali whimpered a bit from a sprained ankle. The Grey Warden agreed as he helped her to her feet and gently picked her up.
Upon arriving back at Haven, Blackwall carried Tali to the healers' tent and they helped their fellow mage feel back to rights and she thanked him for his aid as well.
Later on that day found them talking while just being companions.
