I'm sitting on my bed with only Leo. His head is bowed and my blue blanket is covering him, he's pale and his eyes are puffy.

''Leo, your brothers will be here soon'' I say quietly, he looks up at me and nods slowly.

I watch as he stands up and takes off my blanket, he smiles at me and wraps the blanket around me.

''I'll be back once they're gone'' He whispers. ''I'm just not ready to go home yet''

''Ok… but promise you will come back'' I demand. He nods and crosses his heart before leaving through the window.

I shake my head and look at you guys.

''Hey readers'' I grin. ''So Leo's safe but still in hiding'' I look around before whispering. ''Don't tell the guys he was here!''

''HEY RAN!'' Mikey calls as he and his two brothers come into my room from the portal.

''Hey guys''

''You got any food?'' Donnie asked hopefully, I smile and pull a lunchbox out from under my bed.

''This is my secret stash of sweets'' I grin as I open it up and hand it to the three turtles. They instantly pull out a bag of mini eggs.

''So we gonna start this or what?'' Raph asks with a full mouth. ''Coz I think it's pretty obvious that Leo ain't gonna show up''

''I'm sure he'll come home soon'' I smile reassuringly. ''Ok. First up: Bluestar-TMNT-Warriors! Raph, Slash returned in the new 2 part episode 'Battle for New York'. You two were all friendly but Leo was kinda pissed and wary of him''

Raph huffs.

''If I was still on the show I woulda kicked Slash's ass!''

''Leatherhead's back though'' Mikey grins happily. ''I'm so glad he's ok''

''Rockwell was a jerk though'' Donnie frowned. ''Why isn't he thankful for us saving him?''

''That's what I was wondering! After all it was you who freed him!'' I nod before looking back at my phone. ''Oh yeah by the way, Raph I've been dared to kiss you on the cheek''

He huffs again as I give him a quick peck on the cheek.

''Your lips are dry'' He mutters. ''Frickin' drink some water or somethin'.''

I lick my lips awkwardly and shrug.

''Sorry Raphie'' I look back at my phone. ''MyNameDontMatter… aw man… Donnie this is a kind of sensitive subject… Seeing as retro-mutagen reverses the mutation of cells does that mean it could be a cure for cancer?''

Donnie sighs.

''I'm sorry but Retro-mutagen won't work as a cure'' Donnie sighs, ''I will try to explain''

We all sit closer to him and nod.

''When a creature's cells are mutated by mutagen it is only one type of mutation which can't evolve or develop so retro-mutagen is a cure but… cancer is very complicated. Cancer is made up of all different types of cells which are all evolving and developing so retro-mutagen wouldn't be able to stop them because they would evolve to be protected against it. I'm not saying there will never be a cure for cancer but retro-mutagen isn't the answer. Maybe one day they will figure out a way to attack all the harmful cells so they can't keep changing and eventually cure it.'' Donnie nods. ''Mutation is very easy to deal with in comparison to cancer''

''That was actually pretty interesting'' I nod feeling impressed.

''We're pretty lucky we don't know anyone with cancer huh?'' Mikey sighs. Donnie nods.

''Mutagen is a radioactive liquid so yeah it is pretty lucky'' Don smiles as he hugs Mikey. ''Ran? You ever had to deal with something like that?''

I frown.

''I'm not sure'' my frown deepens. ''I was quite young but I think my Aunty Bronwyn died from cancer, My grandma might have done as well… not sure about my granddad.'' I suddenly snap to attention. ''Actually a boy from my high school recently died from cancer. I didn't really know him but I'd seen him around… Picking on first years and being pretty mean to everyone, he was one of those really popular boys who thought they could get away with everything but once he was diagnosed he changed. He wanted forgiveness and ended up being pretty cool.''

The others nod.

''It's weird though right? How something like that can hit so suddenly and just turn everything upside down'' I sigh. ''Really makes you wonder''

''Does it?'' Raph frowns. ''I mean… it's sad and all but isn't it the people who are close to the person's problem? It doesn't affect others''

''It affects everybody Raph.'' I nod. ''I'm not going to explain it to you though, I'm pretty confident you guys aren't gonna get cancer''

They look at one another.

''Dude… that talk was kinda morbid'' Mikey shudders. Raph and Donnie hug him.

''it was wasn't it'' I frown. ''Better move on. Platyfan 101 requests that all of you hug me!''

Mikey rushes over and nearly knocks me to the ground. We wobble a bit but soon steady enough to have a nice hug, he lets me go and sits back down on my bed.

Raph gets up and hugs me fiercely. I grin and hug him tight.

Donnie walks up next and hugs me gently, he just holds me for a moment before going to sit on the bed with a huge grin that shows his gap.

''That was the best request ever'' I sigh happily. ''bookworm563, don't be guilty about mentioning Leo. You didn't know, it's completely ok!'' I nod in satisfaction. ''Mikey this is a question for you. Raph and Donnie are captured by the Shredder and only one can live. Who do you save and why? Why didn't you save the other brother?''

Mikey looks at his two brothers and pales.

''I have to pick one?'' He asks timidly, I nod. He looks back at both brothers.

''Take your time'' I smile.

''Raph. No. Donnie. No. Raph. No. Donnie! Raph! Donnie! Raph! Donnie! I DON'T KNOW!'' He yelps sadly.

''Geez Mike, calm down'' Raph frowns. ''It's not actually happening''

Mikey stays quiet for a moment and looks over his two brothers.

''I would save Donnie'' He mutters quietly. ''Donnie's my best friend and Raphie would kill me if I didn't save his other little bro''

''It's true'' Raph nods.

''But I'd rather you saved Raph than me'' Donnie says suddenly panicked. ''I'm not worth saving! You would have to save Raph! He much older and stronger, he'd protect you much better than I plus… plus… You'd be happier with him''

Raph growls suddenly but Mikey speak before he can even try.

''That's not true Donnie! You and I have loads of fun and you'd die for me if you had to!'' Mikey nods fiercely. ''I trust you with my life.''

''You are strong Donatello. You would be the best option to choose'' Raph nods.

I frown, he's acting like Leo. I guess it's because he's had to take the big brother role while Leo's in hiding.

I snap out of my thoughts to see all three turtles hugging.

''Ok. Raph, is it true that you hate winter?'' I ask.

''Yes'' He says flatly. ''I hate the damn cold and the fuckin' ice that you constantly slide on! I hate snow and rain and Mikey's stupid snowball fights''

Mikey and I giggle but Raph glares at us as he puts a hand on Donnie's shoulder.

''If it weren't for Donnie living in winter would be torture and would probably kill us or make us hibernate.'' Raph nodded leaving no room for argument. ''He's a genius''

''Genius might be pushing it'' Don smirks. ''I mean, sure I'm smart but I'm no Einstein''

We all smile and chuckle a little.

''Donnie what the worst invention you ever made?'' I ask.

''The stupid toaster!'' Donnie grits his teeth slightly, ''every day I fix that stupid thing! I mean really how hard is it to use a freaking toaster''

We all laugh.

''Seriously Donnie'' I smirk.

''ok fine'' He huffs before fowning slightly. ''The turtle sub. It was pretty stupid that it has to be powered by bikes, it fell apart when I tried to use the turbo-booster as well. I think I may have to rebuild it and rethink my power sources''

We all nod.

''Good. Also bookworm563 I always love your reviews! They aren't too long or too short or anything.'' I nod happily. ''So don't put yourself down and please keep reviewing like that!''

My window suddenly opens and a shivering Leo comes in, he's practically blue!

''LEO!?'' The turtles shout but I ignore them.

''Leo'' I smile as I put the blanket back round his shoulders, ''I thought you didn't want to come back yet''

''I know but I had to. It's too cold outside'' Leo bows his head. ''Sorry''

''It's fine'' I smile.

''He's been here the whole time!?'' Raph growls at me.

''Yes'' I nod before turning defiant. ''He didn't want to go home so I let him stay here where he was safe.''

Mikey and Donnie leap forward and hug Leo. Raph soon joins.

''There ya go unicorn-vomit! There's the turtle hug you asked for'' I smile.

''I'm sorry guys. I'm just not ready to face Splinter again yet'' Leo says hoarsely.

''It's ok that ya didn't wanna come home'' Raph says gently yet firmly. ''But you should've let us know you were here! We've been worried sick! Splinter's been worried too''

Leo looks unconvinced.

''It's true Leo'' Donnie nods. ''He feels guilty.''

''Come home soon Leo'' Mikey begs. ''We miss you.''

''I will come home soon just… just not today'' He sighs. ''Sorry''

The brothers nod. They say goodbye to me and Leo before leaving through the portal.

''Thanks for reading readers!'' I smile as I sling an arm around Leo's shoulders, he smiles too.

''Sorry for not being around'' He says. ''But I'll be joining in next week!''

''Please review with a dare, request, question, visitor or whatever!'' I grin. We both stand up and smile.
