I'm sitting in my living room with Leo, Raph and Mikey, my dogs are lying around us and the portal is hidden in a cupboard under the stairs.
Donnie isn't here.
''Hey readers!'' I grin before pouting, ''I've literally only just found out but… DONNIE'S DEAD!''
The three other turtles jump and stare at me.
''What? No… he's at the lair'' Leo frowns but is clearly doubting what he said. Mikey has tears in his eyes and Raph's beginning to look angry.
''HE DIED! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!'' I wave my arms angrily.
The guys get up hurriedly and I frown before realising my mistake, Donnie's sick at the moment which isn't helping the situation.
Suddenly the cupboard opens up and Donnie walks in.
''Hey, sorry'' He smiles tiredly. ''I was taking my medicine''
He sits down next to me and pulls his purple blanket around his shoulders tighter, my cat jumps onto his knee and falls asleep.
The three other turtles are staring at him in shock then they face me angrily.
''What?'' I frown. ''There's more than one Donnie! I was talking about the one from the comic books''
They growl and Donnie smirks.
''You told them I was dead didn't you''
We all look at him in surprise.
''I've seen the comics'' He shrugs before looking at my hair. ''Is that why you dyed your hair purple?''
''Nah'' I touch my hair and wave him off, ''I did this yesterday coz I wanted a new hair colour''
Donnie nods his approval as his brothers sit down across from us, they keep an eye on Donnie.
''Also I found out why I write about you so much!'' I smile. He looks at me, ''It's because I can relate to you so easily.''
The guys look at me like I'm mad.
''I mean, I'm not a mutant or anything but I can still relate.'' I shrug, ''I spend a lot of time on things I enjoy which causes me to miss meals and lose sleep, I enjoy learning and writing, I'm a geek too which causes me to have less in common with people around my home, I spend a lot of time on the computer and I get sick real easily!''
''But you're not smart'' Mikey frowns, ''And you can't build stuff''
I glare at him.
''Rude'' I snap, Raph and Leo are trying to stifle their laughter. ''Let's just start''
Mikey's blubbering and trying to say sorry but I'm ignoring him.
''Bluestar-TMNT-Warriors…'' I grab Raph and whisper into his ear, ''Go fight Shredder!''
He nods and runs through the portal as Leo jumps up. My dogs suddenly look excited, they think they're going for a walk.
''HE CAN'T GO FIGHT SHREDDER ON HIS OWN!'' Leo yelps, ''HE'S GONNA BE KILLED!''
Mikey and Donnie look scared too as Leo walks towards the portal, both my dogs follow him happily.
''Tilly! Tess! No!'' I scold, they look at me darkly before going to play in the kitchen.
I grab Leo's arm and pull him back.
''You can't go after him!'' I squeak.
''I AM NOT GONNA LET SHREDDER HURT HIM LIKE HE DID ME!'' Leo growls and tries to get away from me. Donnie and Mikey leap up and help Leo away from me, my cat hisses at us all and goes to sleep in the dining room.
''GUYS! YOU HAVE TO DO THE DARES!'' I screech and they all stop.
''But Ran'' Mikey pleads. ''Raphie might die''
''Please Ran'' Donnie begs too and my heart melts at their faces.
I feel really bad. The dare was just for Raph to pretend to go fight Shredder and to get hurt, he has to pretend to fall unconscious too! The poor turtles don't know this though.
Suddenly Raph comes out of the portal with blood and bruises all over himself, he staggers and falls onto the ground with his eyes closed.
''RAPH!'' The brothers yell but I get to him first, I get close to him so the others won't hear us.
''You're faking right?''
''Duh'' Raph breathes. ''That was my dare''
''Good'' I smile. ''Stay unconscious for as long as you like''
I sit up and look at the others.
''He's unconcious'' I announce. ''He should be ok though''
Leo grabs my arm and throws me away from Raph, he and the other two kneel next to Raph.
I sit up and watch.
''I knew I should've went after him'' Leo bows his head. ''What kind of a leader am I?... What kind of a brother am I?''
''It's not your fault Leo'' Donnie croaks due to a sore throat. We can see he's swaying slightly.
''Get back on the couch Donnie'' Leo commands. ''You're too sick for this kind of excitement''
''Yeah D'' Mikey scolds seriously, ''You don't look good, We don't want another unconscious bro''
''I'll be fine'' Donnie shakes his head, I can see how bad he feels.
We sit quietly for a moment, I think Raph's fell asleep…
Donnie starts coughing really badly and swaying more, he gets up to move back over to the couch but he stumbles and falls.
Before he can hit the ground Raph is up and catches him.
Donnie sneezes weakly and looks up at Raph.
''You're ok?'' He frowns. Raph sets him down on the couch across from me and sits next to him, Leo sits on his other side while Mikey sits on the floor and leans against Donnie.
''His dare was to pretend to fight Shredder and get hurt'' I explain, ''He was told to fall unconscious''
Leo, Donnie and Mikey look really angry with Raph.
''It was my dare'' He shrugs.
''Well this was a great start'' I smirk before moving on. ''Turtle Lover101; Donnie, why do you always get sick so easily?''
''It's cause I have a sucky immune system'' Don sniffles, Mikey hands him a tissue.
''That and you spend too much time locked up in a dark lab without food or sleep'' Leo corrects as Donnie blows his nose… beak? Whatever you call that part of a turtle.
''Who doctors the doctor?'' I ask.
''Everyone'' Donnie replies easily, ''They get super protective of me, we're kinda screwed if I get a really bad injury though coz they have no idea how to fix that kinda thing''
The others look guilty.
''I've taught them how to make it end quickly if there's no chance of survival though, like to prevent a long painful death'' Don coughs, the guys cringe. ''I think I'm gonna need to teach them how to fix wounds though, it could be useful''
''It sucks that you guys have to learn that'' I frown, ''But it's always a possibility for you guys huh?''
''Anyway'' Mikey is clearly done talking about that, ''We doctor Donnie because he has no idea how to take care of himself!''
They all smirk at him and Donnie actually smirks back.
''Raph, there's a spider on your head'' I say nonchalantly.
''WHAT!'' Raph yelps and slaps his head several times. ''WHERE? WHERE?''
We laugh at him.
''She's lying Raph!'' Leo chuckles. ''You're so gullible''
Raph growls at me but I continue.
''Donnie why do you suffer so much?'' I ask with a frown. ''It's because he's one of the creator's favourite characters. Or because he's really unlucky''
''Some of those questions sounded familiar'' Mikey cocks his head slightly. ''Or am I high on pizza right now?''
''Both'' The three turtles reply. I nod.
''Platyfan 101 dares Mikey to teach Splinter the Harlem shake'' I smile as Splinter arrives through the portal.
''Hello Ran, I trust you are well?'' Splinter greets me kindly.
''Yeah thanks'' I nod, ''You ready to learn Master?''
''Hai'' He replies calmly.
''Ok Sensei'' Mikey stands in front of Splinter and speaks in a mock Japanese accent. ''We must learn the way of the Harlem Shake''
Donnie sneezes as the rest of us roll our eyes humorously.
''The Harlem shake is when you do loads of random moves.'' Mikey grins as he snatches my phone and gets a video off of Youtube. ''Watch''
Master Splinter watches with a bored expression. He nods at the end of the video.
''We're all gonna join in'' Mikey grins before frowning. ''Except Donnie, he's too sick''
Donnie breathes a sigh of relief.
Leo and Raph stand behind Splinter in the corners of the room while me and Mikey lie on the floor in front of Splinter so our feet are touching.
''DO THE HARLEM SHAKE!'' Mikey shouts happily.
Leo does a weird wiggling arm thing while Raph does a Mexican wave, Splinter shakes his butt and head bangs. Mikey lifts his arms and wiggles while I lift my legs as if I were doing the cancan.
The music is playing too.
Donnie laughs only to end up coughing uncontrollably.
We stop when the music stops, Donnie is trying not to laugh after his coughing fit.
''That was all the dares and questions.'' I smile. ''Donnie should be better next week!''
''he will be if he drinks the teas I've recommended'' Splinter nods, Donnie cringes as his brothers poke fun at him.
''Sensei'' I smile. ''You can do the honours.''
''Please Review with a question, dare, topic, visitor or whatever else you would like to do'' Splinter nods. ''But please don't make it too dangerous''
We chuckle slightly.
''BYE!''
