The turtles and I are all sitting in my room on my bed. We're all wearing huge hoodies and are wrapped in blankets.
''Hey readers! We're so cold!'' I shudder before grinning. ''I'm writing this today because I have my first day at my first job tomorrow! I'm so excited and nervous!''
''You're gonna fuck somethin' up'' Raph smirks. ''I just know it''
''Shut up Raph!'' I snap.
''You'll do fine Ran'' Mikey puts a hand on my shoulder, ''Just make sure ya don't accidently injure a customer and you'll be fine!''
I gulp loudly and Donnie passes me my phone.
''Let's just start'' Leo rubs the back of his neck awkwardly as Mikey grimaces.
''Bluestar-TMNT-Warriors would like to know how you guys reacted to 'Attack of the Mega Shredder'… I'm assuming you've watched it?'' I ask curiously.
''Yeah we watched it'' Raph frowns, ''And I'd like to know when they renamed the show 'Leo and company'!''
''I completely agree!'' I nod. ''Leo's like, the main character and you guys are in the background! If anything Donnie should be complaining, he gets barely any lines and his only character development is his crush on April.''
''What about creeping doom?'' Mikey asks. ''Was that not any good?''
''It was funny but why isn't Donnie getting any serious episodes like you guys have? I'm actually starting to hope 2012 nick will do what 2K3 did and mutate Donnie into a monster for a couple of episodes'' I grumble before smirking at the glares.
''I don't want Donnie to turn into a monster'' Mikey pouts.
''I don't really have an opinion'' Donnie shrugs. ''Whatever happens is out of my hands… besides I don't like being centre of attention''
''I just don't think it's fair that all the other turtles have had amazing moments while all you got was going dumb and being hit on by bigfoot'' I shrug.
''Moving on'' Leo commands. ''You've hurt Donnie enough in your stories without wanting it to happen on TV too''
I sigh dramatically before looking at my phone again. I frown.
''You guys didn't really answer the question''
''It was ok'' The brothers shrug.
''Except Mikey being eaten'' Raph snaps. ''That was sick and gross''
''Agreed'' They all nod, I smile and turn back to my phone.
''TMNTGFKittySidekick01 has a few questions and a dare'' I announce. ''Raph and Donnie, How would you two describe your relationship with one another seeing as you two are the middle children?''
''Well uh…'' Raph frowns a little. ''We don't really treat each other like babies or older brothers because technically we're the same age. We find it really easy to just hang out. Donnie's real good to talk to when I get pissed about something''
''How many times have I told you not to say bad words in this story?'' I warn but Donnie starts talking.
''Wait, wait! You treat me like a little brother all the time!'' He splutters. ''You're always forcing me to eat or go to bed and trying to protect me or whatever! And we do not always find it easy to hang out coz you insult me constantly!''
''Yeah but you don't really care'' Raph waves him off. ''Besides you're younger than me so I can totally treat you like that''
''Leo'' I turn to face the blue banded turtle, ''What lengths would you go to protect your little brothers?''
''I would do anything in my power to protect them'' Leo answers easily. ''No price is too high for their safety''
I can see the younger brothers look slightly uncomfortable with his blunt answer.
''I wish I had a brother like you'' I smile at him. ''My brother hates me''
''You have four brothers who will protect you Ran'' Leo answers easily as he motions to himself and the other three. ''You know that''
I blush and awkwardly thank them.
''You cuties'' I chuckle. ''Mikey, who is your biggest role model between your brothers and why?''
''umm…'' Mikey inspects his three older brothers and frowns. ''They're all role models because Donnie's really smart and can take any insult thrown at him and not care, Raphie's really strong and can beat anybody and Leo's really calm and kind hearted… they're all kind hearted…''
''Aww!'' I clap excitedly. ''Adorable!''
''Shut up'' The four turtles blush.
''The dare is for Leo and Raph to have a 10 second drawing contest and we have to judge it.'' I hand Leo and Raph the things they need and give them a moment to think.
''Ready'' Leo nods.
''Ready'' Raph smirks.
''GO!'' Donnie, Mikey and I shout.
We watch as Leo and Raph start scribbling.
10 Seconds Later…
''STOP!'' I shout, Leo and Raph stop.
''Ok, Leo first'' I nod, Leonardo hands us his drawing. Raphael peeks over to sneak a look.
He has drawn a pretty impressive tree with surprising detail.
''A cherry blossom tree'' Donnie muses. ''Nice''
''Scores?'' I ask.
''I give it a 7'' Mikey shrugs, ''Cherry blossom trees don't grow that way, it's not accurate''
''I give it a 9'' Donnie nods.
''I give it a 10 because trees are really hard to draw'' I smirk.
Leo smiles and Raphael hands us his drawing.
He has drawn a detailed sketch of a turtle, it's really cute!
''Scores?'' I ask again.
''I give it… a 10'' Mikey smiles. ''I didn't know he could draw like that!''
''I give it an 8'' Donnie frowns. ''It's out of proportion.''
''I give it a seven'' I give Raph a thumbs up. ''It's cute!''
''Donnie, what's the overall score for our two contestants?'' Mikey asks like a game show host.
''Leo got 26 points and Raph got 25 points'' Donnie answers easily. ''Leo only just wins''
We all clap and Raph actually seems ok with losing to Leo by 1 point.
Leo is staring at Raph's picture.
''Wow Raph'' he punches his brother's shoulder. ''I had no idea you could draw so well!''
''Same to you fearless'' Raph grins.
''Next up is Turtle Lover101'' I grin. ''Why did we disappear? I don't know… I guess I just forgot about this story and things kept getting in the way… I'll tell ya, it's gonna be fun trying to keep up 2 stories each week while I'm at college, work and volunteering''
''You'll manage'' Leo smiles kindly, I grin back.
''APRIL!'' I call, April walks in and smiles.
''You have a question for me?'' She asks.
''You and the others'' I smile. ''How badly did it affect you in 'In Dreams' when Donnie stopped breathing?''
April winces as all four turtles gasped.
''WHAT?'' They all look at one another.
''I stopped breathing?'' Donnie stares at April in shock.
''Yeah… you did'' She sniffs.
Leo, Raph and Mikey visibly pale.
''So you actually nearly died!?'' Leo yelps. ''And it's all because we didn't think to check on you and find out why you were still sleeping…''
''It makes sense though'' I shrug, they all stare at me. ''I mean he was under the longest and he was the closest to the fire… he was bound to go first''
''NOT HELPING!'' Raph growls before shaking his head. ''I can't believe this… we almost lost our brother… WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US!?''
''Yeah April?'' I frown. ''I'm curious about that myself.''
''I was just trying to protect them'' April bowed her head in shame. ''I knew they would freak out if they knew he had almost died…''
''Makes sense'' I nod. Mikey, Leo and Raph are hugging Donnie who still looks a little confused.
''That would explain why my chest hurt when I woke up'' He frowned. ''But… how… How am I still alive when I stopped breathing?''
''When the beavers were released you were all freed'' April answers, ''It was so scary… I-I thought…''
She shudders and quickly leaves through the portal.
''I thought you guys knew'' I frown. ''Ah well… you know now. Good luck sleeping tonight!''
The turtles send me a glare as they sit close to one another.
''Leo and Mikey, did you two get in trouble with Donnie and Raph for going solo in 'Mega Shredder'?'' I ask.
''We were shouted at by everyone'' Mikey blushes. ''Even Leo shouted at me''
''I got told off too but not by Sensei'' Leo explains. ''He said that I would be a good leader one day''
''That's a bit weird but ok'' I smile. ''A question for all of us is what is the scariest thing we've ever done?''
''Fight Squirrelanoids'' Mikey shudders.
''Setting fire to my secret lab and not being able to open the door'' Donnie blushes, his brothers stare at him in shock.
''I feel like that should be a story for another day'' I grimace, Donnie seems thankful for me saving him.
''We are definitely talking about that later'' Raph snarls sternly.
''Totally'' I agree. ''I might be able to make a one-shot out of it''
They give me a look and Donnie stifles a laugh.
''Fight the Shredder after the whole invasion incident'' Leo admits.
''Watching Sensei being flushed away when he was beaten by the Shredder'' Raph bows his head slightly.
''Scariest thing I've ever done… Has to be when I got lost on the tube!'' I nod ''In London I was with my parents and we got separated in the station! There were so many people and the trains were so loud and I had no understanding of how the tube networks worked!''
The turtles laugh at me and I look back at my phone.
''GabyGlaciers123'' I frown at the message before my eyes widen. ''QUICK! Mikey! What if you could be human?''
''IT'D BE AWESOME!'' He cheers.
''DONNIE! Would you be able to invent a machine to make you guys human?'' I ask quickly.
''Probably'' Donnie shrugs. ''I've never really thought about it… I think it'd be pretty complicated''
''Raph bite Leo's mask tales for the rest of this chapter'' I command and he does as I say. ''He's told us what kind of girls he's into before. DONNIE! Do you know if you get married and have babies you'll have twins?''
''How can anyone know that?'' Donnie questions before thinking. ''Though… twins are pretty cute…''
''RAN!... OH WAIT THAT'S ME!'' I grin as I run down to the kitchen with the four turtles following me. I quickly down ten glasses of chocolate milk before filling another glass with cold water.
I throw it straight into Mikey's face, he gasps and sprays some of the water back into my face.
''BLEH!'' I back away.
We all pant (except Raph who is still biting Leo's mask tails).
''Are we done?'' Donne asks.
''Yeah'' I smile. ''ok then! Mikey, Donnie, will you two do the honours?''
They nod as Leo and I sit down, I laugh as Raph's forced to kneel on the floor.
