Kimi's House.
Living Room.
Day Time.
It had been a month since the night of the dinner and Suigetsu and Karin had barely hung out. Karin was spending most of her time with Sasuke, oddly enough. Sasuke stayed with Karin almost every night, she enjoyed his company and even found herself trusting him. Karin still hadn't broke it off with Suigetsu though and she knew that it was time to but as she got a text she couldn't do it just yet.
Suigetsu: I know we haven't spent time together but please just let me take you out tomorrow night?
Karin sighed softly, feeling guilty for not giving Suigetsu a chance since the dinner then she quickly responded.
Karin: I guess, Where are we going?"
It only took a minute before Karin's phone went off again.
Suigetsu: To dinner, wear something dressy, it's a pretty elegant place.
Karin: Alright..
Karin felt her heart ache as she was going on a date with Suigetsu. Karin was nervous since she had barely seen Suigetsu.
Suigetsu and Karin have been seeing each other at school and stuff but she would have tried to keep her distance out of school, avoiding his sexual advances upon her.
"Hey there." a familiar male voice said.
Karin looked up from her tv to see Sasuke smirking in the doorway as he looked amazing in his usual outfit.
"Hello, Sasuke." Karin said.
Sasuke grinned at Karin before stepping into the living room, Karin was in her casual outfit, black yoga pants and a long sleeve shirt, huddled in a dark purple blanket, it was now winter and she sipped her hot cocoa happily with both hands.
"What are you watching?" Sasuke asked, taking a seat next to Karin on the right side.
Karin smelled Sasuke's cologne and almost got lost in the scent. "Umm, a random Christmas movie." she said.
Sasuke looked around and frowned. "You're all alone tonight?" he asked.
Karin nodded.
"No Suigetsu?" Sasuke asked, looking at Karin curiously.
No doubt trying to read Karin's mind, she became really good at keeping her mind blank around Sasuke. Only Karin knew about Sasuke's powers and she found a way to block him from her head. Karin smiled secretly and responded.
"No." Karin said.
Sasuke watched the TV broadly for a few moments. Karin regarded telling Sasuke about her and Suigetsu's date. Karin felt nervous, almost like a cheating girlfriend, even though they weren't together then again she already knew that she wanted to break up with Suigetsu. Karin was ready to, she was going to do it over their dinner date tomorrow night, at least if they were in a public and fancy restaurant he wouldn't be able to make a scene.
Karin didn't want to tell Sasuke about her plan though. Karin wanted to surprise Sasuke. It's weird really or a vampire Sasuke was very human-like. Karin guessed Sasuke kind of had to be living in a human world and what not, Karin suddenly wondered if there were other vampires in their world.
"Sasuke are there other vampires that live here?" Karin asked.
Sasuke stiffened beside Karin and she felt nervous, usually when he stiffened, at least in her past experiences, it didn't end well.
Sasuke took in a breath before responding. "Yeah, some aren't like us. There are many that live in the shadows and actually feed and kill humans, even though we shouldn't..." he said.
Karin gulped as that made her not want to be out alone at night.
"You shouldn't be out alone at night, anyways." Sasuke said softly, reading Karin's thoughts.
"Damn I forgot to block them." Karin thought.
"Yeah.." Karin said, awkwardly agreeing.
"Hey, don't read my mind." Karin said, glaring at Sasuke.
Sasuke grinned before reaching for Karin's right hand with his left hand. Sasuke took Karin's hot cocoa and placed it on the coffee table then intertwined his left hand with her right hand. Karin smiled at Sasuke and cuddled close to him, laying her head against his left shoulder.
"Sasuke, I need to tell you something." Karin said, couldn't feel Sasuke stiffen this time. "Well tomorrow night I'm going on a date with Suigetsu, I'm sorry."
"Why are you apologizing?" Sasuke asked with no emotion in his voice.
Karin hated that as a vampire Sasuke could strip himself from showing her any of his emotions.
"I just, feel like I'm cheating on you..." Karin said as it felt weird to say the words.
"Well you're not cheating, since we aren't together." Sasuke said.
Karin frowned and suddenly felt awkward and embarrassed. It hurt slightly to think that Sasuke was right. Karin shouldn't feel hurt considering it's her fault that they still weren't together, but it did hurt.
"True." Karin said softly it was suddenly silent in the room.

20 minutes later.
"Where is he taking you?" Sasuke asked.
"Oh, to dinner." Karin said, caught off guard and looked at Sasuke oddly.
"What?" Sasuke asked, smirking.
"Nothing, just that question came out randomly." Karin said, smiling at Sasuke and he returned it.
Karin started to yawn as 10 came around. "Time for bed." she said smiling and stood up, shutting off the TV with her left hand.
"Not quite, I've got other plans, but I will come over tomorrow, since my mom and your mom are doing dinner." Sasuke said.
"Oh." Karin said, trying to hide the disappointment in her voice.
Karin was so used to Sasuke sleeping over that she was already feeling lonely. Karin couldn't expect Sasuke to always jump to her and stay the night when she wouldn't even be his girlfriend.
"Alright, have a good night." Karin said then looked everywhere but Sasuke' face.
"You too." Sasuke said softly before he left quietly.
Karin locked her front door behind Sasuke with her left hand before she went up to her room and put on her night clothes and went to bed, sadness in her heart.
...
Tomorrow.
Night Time.
It was already the next day, Karin was currently in her room combing her hair and getting ready for her date with Suigetsu. Once Karin's hair and makeup was done, she slipped into a black long sleeve tight fitting dress that zipped up the back, she put her black heels on and grabbed her small black wallet with her right hand. Karin walked down stairs just in time for her mom's dinner party to start. Karin felt awkward as everyone's eyes were on her, even Sasuke's.
"You look beautiful sweetie, have a good time." Kimi said.
Karin smiled and hugged her mom with both hands. "Thanks, I should be back soon, it's only dinner." she said.
Mikoto hugged Karin with both hands before she walked out of the room.
"Have fun." a small familiar male voice said.
Karin turned in the hall about to leave and was startled as Sasuke was only inches away.
"Thank you." Karin said softly, before turning and leaving.
Karin watched as Suigetsu was parked outside already waiting. Karin walked outside and walked forward before she opened the door with her left hand and took a seat in Suigetsu's car and looked at him.
Suigetsu smiled before putting his right hand on Karin's left hand. "You look amazing." he said, winking.
Karin smiled nervously. "Thanks." she said.
...
40 minutes later.
Once at the restaurant, Karin couldn't help but to continuously look at her phone with her left hand. Suigetsu and Karin were half way into their meal when she finally got a text from her mother.
Mother- Leaving out with Mikoto, so I won't be home when you get there, have a good night sweetie!
Karin smiled and looked up at Suigetsu, who was glaring.
"Is that a text from your other boyfriend?" Suigetsu asked, snapping.
Karin felt her eyes water at Suigetsu's rudeness. "No." he said softly before shoving her phone in his face and allowing him to read the text.
"Oh." Suigetsu said.
Karin sighed not bothering to speak to Suigetsu any longer.
Karin needed to break up with Suigetsu but as the server brought out bill and they paid, Karin found herself losing the guts to break it off.

5 minutes later.
Once in the car, Karin kept fidgeting with her hands.

10 minutes later.
When Suigetsu parked outside Karin's house she went to speak but he beat her to it.
"You're amazing, and so beautiful." Suigetsu said.
Karin was shocked from her thoughts and didn't know what to respond, she gave Suigetsu an odd nod of the head.
"Thank you for the dinner." Karin said softly, even though she paid more than half the bill.
"You're welcome, look Karin." Suigetsu said, shifting in his seat and faced Karin before cupping her left cheek with his right hand and bringing her face to his own.
Karin was caught off guard at first, allowing Suigetsu to kiss her a little. Suigetsu's left arm wrapped around Karin's waist and he reached the side of seat, pressing the button with his right hand and letting the seat fall back.
Karin cinched suddenly and her stomach dropped. Suigetsu began to feel up Karin's right thigh with his left hand and was dangling over her in an uncomfortable position.
"Suigetsu-" Karin said but was cut off.
"Relax.." Suigetsu said, annoyed.
Karin began to tremble and reached up with her left hand to pull Suigetsu away but he pinned both of her hands in his own.
"Suigetsu, stop!" Karin said firmly, yet shakily.
Suigetsu shoved his mouth over Karin's own and she could barely breathe. Karin felt so uncomfortable as Suigetsu he slid his left hand down caressing her right thigh before placing it back up behind her, he reached for the back zipper on her dress with his left hand and she started to struggle.
"Suigetsu stop!" Karin said, raising her voice.
Suigetsu glared at Karin before letting her hands go and grabbing the back of her hair with his right hand, she was struggling against him but it was a small fit in his car and his weight was on her, making it hard to move.
Karin felt her zipper break and she gasped as she felt the cold air reach her back. "Let go of me!" she said, crying out.
Suigetsu grabbed the front of Karin's dress with his left hand and ripped it down, exposing her bra and scratching her in the process.
Karin felt tears start to fall and she kneed Suigetsu in the groin with her right knee, he flinched and she quickly reached for the door handle with her left hand, letting it swing open. Karin pushed Suigetsu over with both hands and ran for her house. Karin struggled to open the front door with her left hand as she held her now ripped dress up over her exposed bra with her right hand. Karin opened the door frantically and slammed it behind her with her left hand, listening as Suigetsu's car sped off.
"Mom!" Karin said, screaming in a broken voice.
Karin knew her mother wasn't home, she quickly ran for the stairs tripping in her heels, she scraped her right knee, cursing under her breath as she stormed into her bedroom, Once Karin in her room, she slammed her door with her left and tripped over her area rug she fell to the floor sobbing furiously, her hair was in her face and she knew her make up was running.
"What the hell?" a familiar male voice asked growling.
Karin jumped as she felt Sasuke's soft right hand reach for her chin. Karin hadn't even realized that Sasuke was waiting for her in her room. Karin felt Sasuke put his sweater on her with both hands, she didn't bother zipping it up as she just let her dress fall and reached for him with both hands.
Karin shoved her head in Sasuke's chest sobbing loudly.
"I'll kill him!" Sasuke said growling while stroking Karin's hair with his right hand.
Karin wasn't even embarrassed about her bra being exposed as she was safe and in Sasuke's arms, that's all that mattered.
Karin sniffed a few times before finally calming down.
"You should take a shower and get cleaned up, we'll talk after." Sasuke said.
Karin nodded and looked at Sasuke softly. Sasuke looked torn and angry. Karin got up and walked into her bathroom. Karin took off her glasses with her left hand and washed her face and fixed her hair with both hands, slipped on her night clothes and glasses and walked back into her room. Karin laid in her bed and allowed Sasuke to lay with her on the right side.
The minute Sasuke did, Karin cuddled into him. Karin began to tell Sasuke everything, about how she intended to break up with Suigetsu, about the dinner, about the incident in the car. Towards the end, Sasuke was furious and wanted to go and rip Suigetsu to shreds.
"Please don't leave me." Karin said, whimpering.
Sasuke tilted Karin's chin to look at him with his right hand. "Never." he said before kissing her carefully.
Karin took off her glasses with her left hand and placed them on the stand behind her then closed her eyes and rested against Sasuke, falling asleep almost instantly. Karin's mind was made up.
Sasuke and Karin were staying together.
...
Tomorrow.
Morning.
Karin woke up to a knocking at her bedroom door and she struggled with her blankets fighting to get loose. Once Karin was successful, she grabbed her glasses with her right hand looked up in time for her mother to open the door with her right hand and walk in.
"Hey sweetie." Kimi said.
Kimi's warm smile made Karin smile, she couldn't be mad at her for waking her up.
Kimi finally held out her arms, filled with a dozen red roses.
Karin sat up quickly and looked at her mother in astoundment. "Sasuke?" she asked, quietly.
Kimi looked down for a moment before handing Karin the roses with both hands. "No, Suigetsu." she said.
Karin's stomach felt sick suddenly and she ignored the roses her mother was trying to hand her, she settles for placing them on her bedside table.
"He's at the door for you." Kimi said.
At this Karin jumped out of bed.
"What do you mean?" Karin asked as she couldn't hide the terror in her voice as she thought about Suigetsu being so close to her.
Last nights events haunted Karin's dreams and suddenly she found herself more worried about something else.
"Where is Sasuke?" Karin asked.
Kimi looked at Karin like she had 6 heads. "Sweetie, are you feeling alright? Sasuke was never here." she questioned.
At this Karin frowned deeply.
"Did he hide from my mother? As if she would care that he spent the night, and why did he leave so abruptly?" Karin thought.
Karin sighed deeply, looking down at night pants and night shirt she sighed before grabbing for Sasuke's shirt and slipping it on with both hands.
Karin pulled her hair up into a ponytail with both hands and headed for the stairs.
Once Karin noticed Suigetsu outside the front door her heart rate accelerated and her hands began to shake. Karin looked for her mother but she was already retreating to the basement, no doubt wanting to leave her and Suigetsu to talk. Karin walked over to the door and flew it open with her right hand. "What?" she asked snapping, glaring.
Suigetsu reached for Karin's right hand with his left hand but she pulled back and glared up at Suigetsu. This pissed Suigetsu off because the next thing Karin knew she was slammed up against the side of her porch him pinning her arms above her head with both hands.
"This isn't over Karin." Suigetsu said, yelling at Karin with enough venom to poison her.
Karin's eyes widened in shock as Suigetsu watched her terrified figure. "It would be smart for you to let go, right now." she said, gritting her teeth and glared.
"I hated this sad excuse of a human being." Karin thought.
"Oh really?" Suigetsu asked, smirking before pushing against Karin.
"I'd listen to her, you know." a familiar male voice said.
The male voice sent shivers down Karin's spine, she looked slightly behind Suigetsu to see her knight in black pants, Sasuke. Karin breathed a sigh of relief as Suigetsu released his hold on her, she quickly walked passed him and behind Sasuke who wrapped his arms around her protectively.
"Oh so this is how it's going to be Karin?" Suigetsu asked, snapping.
Sasuke began walking closer and Karin feared the worse. "I gave you a warning already, now back off before I send you into a world of pain." he said.
Sasuke threatened Suigetsu so easily and Karin felt herself blushing at the protectiveness.
"This isn't over, everyone will soon know what a slut you are, you stupid bitch, keep her man, she won't give it up anyways." Suigetsu said.
Karin stood frozen in shock as she had never been so insulted, not even Sasuke insulted her that badly.
Sasuke released Karin and stepped away from her and pushed her towards her porch with both hands. "Inside. Now." he said.
Sasuke's words were firm, a warning of what was to come next. Karin worried about Suigetsu finding out what Sasuke really was.
"No, let it go." Karin said hesitantly as she didn't like to test Sasuke's temper.
"Karin." Sasuke said, warning.
Karin instantly stopped protesting and watched this scene unfold before her.
"I suggest you head to the hospital after I'm done." Sasuke said.
Suigetsu looked confused until Sasuke punched him in the nose with his right fist then in the gut and in the face once more. Karin watched with horror stricken eyes as she could hear Suigetsu's bones break in his body with a sickening crack, she covered her mouth afraid if she'd scream form all the blood she watched pour freely out of Suigetsu's nose.
Suigetsu didn't fight back though. "You're a fucking freak!" he said, roaring before hurrying to his car, holding his nose tightly in his hands.
Karin watched Suigetsu pull out of the drive and speed down the street as she was horrified.
There was a trail of blood from Karin's porch to the street where Suigetsu's car was parked. Karin felt sick suddenly.
"Come here tomato." Sasuke said.
Karin stood in silence not moving as she jumped when she felt Sasuke's arms pull her into him.
"It's okay, he won't bother you ever again." Sasuke said.
Karin just nodded softly before grabbing a hold of Sasuke's shirt with both hands and nuzzling her face into his chest.
"Thank you." Karin said, whispering softly, knowing very well that Sasuke's vampire hearing picked it up.
"Karin, oh-" Kimi said but stopped talking.
Kimi's soft voice made Sasuke and Karin break apart and looked at her.
"Is there something I should know?" Kimi asked looking between Sasuke and Karin.
Karin blushed and Sasuke grinned down at her.
"Were working on things." Karin said.
Kimi nodded approvingly. "That's wonderful." she said smiling before stepping out of the house. "I'm off again, will you two be alright?"
Karin nodded her head as she watched her mother leave in her small light grey car walked into my house and Sasuke followed.
"Oh you're not gonna leave once I fall asleep are you?" Karin asked.
Sasuke grinned. "Ah my tomato, I didn't leave I just needed to feed." he said then looked away and silence filled the room.
"Oh." Karin said softly finally breaking it. "Will you spend the day in bed with me?"
After Karin asked the question she realized how wrong it sounded, she blushed furiously.
"I-I mean, I don't feel like doing anything except staying in bed." Karin said.
Sasuke laughed as it echoed through the hall and Karin smiled embarrassed as he took her left hand with his right hand and led her to the stairs. Once in Karin's room, from left to right she and Sasuke laid down together, she let him hold her in his arms and she rested her head against his right shoulder.
"Sasuke, I want to be with you." Karin said suddenly.
Karin felt Sasuke stiffen against her and it brought back a feeling of terror.
"You already know that I want to be with you, Karin... I've been waiting" Sasuke said.
Karin felt the pit in her stomach go away and she smiled.
"I'm not ready to be married though." Karin said, laughing for a moment.
Sasuke laughed as well for a moment. "That's fine by me." he said.
"And I'm sure my mother will be thrilled, she's been rooting for us since the beginning." Karin said, laughing softly.
"Yeah that's true, I think my mom as well." Sasuke said.
Sasuke suddenly flipped them so he was hovering over Karin as she felt tiny under him and her breaths came out shallow.
"I would never hurt you again, I need you to know that." Sasuke said, his charcoal black eyes entrancing Karin.
"I do know that, at least I do now. I believe you." Karin said.
Sasuke just watched Karin intensely. "I love you tomato." he said.
Now it was Karin's turn to freeze in shock. It was the first time Sasuke had said it. Karin hoped she would hear those words one day but never actually believed that she would. Karin looked into Sasuke's eyes and just stared.
"What should I say?" Karin thought.
"Sasuke I-" Karin said but froze.
The words choked themselves up in Karin's throat.
"I what? I loved him, I knew that so why couldn't I say it." Karin thought.
Sasuke's intense gazed watched Karin and she was afraid that she might crack under the pressure.
"I'm sorry." Sasuke said, reaching for Karin's left hand with his right hand and held it tightly.
"No, don't be. I am." Karin said, frowning. "I was caught off guard.. I always wanted to hear it but I never believed that I would..." finding herself dumbfounded.
"Alright well no rush, tomato." Sasuke said, smiling.
Sasuke stood up from the bed and began to leave the room.
"Wait Sasuke!" Karin said shouting, looking at Sasuke as he opened her bedroom door with his right hand. "Hey stop!" as Sasuke left the room.
Karin chased after Sasuke. "What the hell I had the 3 words on my tongue ready to slip out, he wouldn't give me the chance." she thought.
Sasuke opened the front door with his right hand and Karin screamed the next words loudly.
"Hey! I love you too stupid so stop!" Karin said then covered her mouth with both hands as soon as the words left it.
"Did I really just scream that?" Karin thought.
Sasuke turned to Karin, a large smirk on his face.
Sasuke started to laugh at Karin.
"Hey... d-don't laugh... at me." Karin said, whispering the last part trailing off.
"I'm sorry my tomato but I knew if you thought you lost your chance that you might clumsily scream it out of fear." Sasuke said grinning and came closer to Karin.
Sasuke wrapped his arms around Karin and pulled her to him. Karin felt Sasuke's cold lips kiss her neck and she took a sharp intake of breath. Sasuke pulled away and looked into Karin's crimson red eyes.
"You're my beautiful little tomato, mine." Sasuke said, smiling at Sasuke.
"And you're my amazing vampire, mine." Karin said, mimicking.
Sasuke slid his right index finger under Karin's chin before gently kissing her. Sasuke left Karin's lips and kissed the tip of her nose then her forehead.
Karin rested her head against Sasuke's chest. "I love you, so much." she said, whispering.
Karin knew Sasuke could hear her.
Sasuke rubbed his left hand over Karin's back and into her hair holding her tightly. "I love you, just as much." he said.
Karin smiled to herself just enjoying the moment.
Suddenly Sasuke and Karin heard an applause, she jumped from him and turned to the audience. From left to right, Mikoto and Kimi
"Mom." Karin said, whining.
Sasuke looked at his mother in disbelief. "You 2 are unbelievable." he said, groaning.
Mikoto grinned from ear to ear. "Does this mean I get to go back to wedding planning?" she asked.
"No." Sasuke and Karin said together.
"What, why?" Mikoto asked, a look of horror on her face.
"Because we want to go at our own pace-" Karin said but was Sasuke cut her off.
"And because I want to propose to her for real, when I'm ready." Sasuke said.
Karin couldn't help but to smile up at Sasuke.
"Well, we can agree to that." Mikoto said looking at Kimi, who nodded approvingly.
"Yes, we can." Kimi said.
...
A few weeks later.
Kimi's House.
Karin's Room.
Evening.
Sasuke and Karin were getting along wonderfully. Sasuke took Karin out to dinner and cooked dinner for her. Sasuke spent practically every night at Karin's house and Mikoto and Kimi couldn't have been more happier. Sometimes Karin even forgot Sasuke was a vampire.
Tonight was no different than any other night, Sasuke was going to be here any minute to pick Karin up, he said they were would be going to a night club, to meet some of his friends she was slightly nervous. That meant more vampires. Karin looked herself over once more in her mirror, she wore her temporary outfit, black lace leggings, a lavender sweater/dress that hung mid thigh, black ballet flats and teased her hair in her usual style and her glasses. Karin fixed her glasses with both hands and looked at the time.
...
2 minutes later.
Once Karin exited her bedroom, Sasuke stood in the hallway.
"Oh." Karin said surprised. "Sorry I didn't know that you were already here."
Karin frowned and Sasuke lifted her chin with his right hand, kissing her on the lips.
"You look gorgeous." Sasuke said.
Karin blushed. "Thank you Sasuke, you don't look bad yourself." she said.
Sasuke, wearing his temporary outfit, light wash blue jeans with some rips in them, a black dress shirt, his spiky black hair was gorgeous as always. Karin felt herself tug at the ends and Sasuke moaned softly pushing her against the wall and kissing her fiercely. Karin smiled into the kiss allowing her and Sasuke to make out for a few moments.
"We should go now, before I can't stop myself." Sasuke said, grinning at Karin.
Karin nodded to flustered and hot to say anything back. Sasuke led Karin to his car and they drove downtown to where most of the night clubs were.
...
15 minutes later.
Once inside the place was actually really decent looking, very clean and most people were just as young as Sasuke and Karin.
"Don't feel too out of place there are other vampires here, but there are just as many humans." Sasuke said.
Karin nodded her head while still looking around the place, she and Sasuke found a small table it was one of those high tables that had the high bar stool chairs, they took seats and he soon stood up.
"What would you like to drink?" Sasuke asked.
Karin pondered for a moment. "A strawberry daiquiri." she said.
"Coming up little tomato." Sasuke said and walked off towards the bar.
Karin strummed her fingers along the table board.
The room had a large dance floor in the middle of it playing various dub step and other dance mixes, plenty of people were dancing and others were just hanging around drinking and socializing. Karin looked around until she found her eyes meeting some purple ones across the way. Karin shuddered involuntarily as the medium-length grey hair that was slicked back man glared and smirked at the same time. Karin quickly looked away and felt his eyes burning on her.
Karin shrugged it off as soon as Sasuke came back with their drinks in both hands.
Sasuke frowned at Karin. "Not having fun?" he asked.
Karin looked up at Sasuke shocked. "Oh I am, we only just got here." she said.
Sasuke nodded in understanding and sat next to Karin on the left side, wrapping his right arm around her chair. Sasuke picked up his phone with his left hand, responding to a text.
"My friends are here." Sasuke said, smiling down at Karin just as 2 people sat down at the table.
Karin looked at them both, one was a tall slender guy, he had short spiky yellow-blonde hair, tan skin, 3 whisker markings on each of his cheeks, bright azure blue eyes, his girlfriend, she assumed only because of how touchy they were, had dark blue hime hair that reached her lower back and the framing strands grow to shoulder-length, featureless lavender eyes, fair skin, she smiled warmly at her holding out her right hand.
"I'm Hinata, you must be Karin." the female said.
Karin smiled and shook Hinata's right hand back with her left hand. "Yeah." she said.
The guy took Karin's left hand carefully with his right hand. "I'm Naruto, Sasuke's best friend, you're a beauty." he said.
Karin blushed and looked at Sasuke who only smiled at her. From left to right, Naruto and Hinata took seats at the table and soon they were having more drinks and conversations that allowed them to get to know each other.

Sasuke took in Fugaku and Mikoto's words and he was a little delighted to say the least.

"We can't get doctors? We are vampires there is practically nothing impossible for us?" Sasuke questioned his mother.
Mikoto nodded in understanding. "I understand that Sasuke, and she does too. I gave her the option she won't leave her home. She shared this with her husband she has many memories in this home and she is unwilling to let go." she said.
Sasuke felt frustrated suddenly, if Kimi wouldn't come along then the chances of Karin agreeing were even slimmer.
"If her mother doesn't come along it's going to be that much harder to get Karin to agree as well." Sasuke said, groaning before placing his cup gently on the table with his right hand and turning his way back to the stairs.

Sasuke's voice sounded pleading and he didn't mean it to. Karin smiled softly at Sasuke before laying back down and in his arms.
Sasuke needed this as he needed to just forget about everything even if it were only for a little while.
