Charles asked Molly to move in with him in the most indirect way...
It was one of those rare Saturday's that Molly and Charles got to spend together. Both were absolutely exhausted so they decided to spend it cuddled up in their bed binge watching a television series on Netflix. Molly was wrapped up in her favourite dressing gown that belonged to Charles thoroughly engrossed in the programme that was playing, Charles was scrolling through the 'rightmove' app on his phone, something which he regularly did as he was now at the point where he was absolutely desperate for him and Molly to live together. The rare weekends together weren't cutting it anymore and if they did come across each other at Aldershot where they were both currently stationed, they had to maintain a level of professionalism that was really difficult when the love of your life was stood right in front of you, especially if you hadn't seen them in person for almost a whole week. Charles was just about to turn his phone off and give his full attention to Molly and the TV when he saw a property that actually made his heart skip a beat.
The location could not have been more perfect, it was just south of Swindon where Rebecca lived with Sam, which meant that it would be easier to have Sam stay with them, something he knew Molly really wanted. It was also only an hours drive away from Aldershot and just under an hours from his parents, which meant that they would nearby enough to visit regularly and potentially help out with future babysitting duties (Charles berated himself for getting too far ahead of himself by this point, he hadn't even asked Molly if she wanted to live with him yet, let alone have his future children!). Charles knew he couldn't let this house go, so he excused himself briefly from their bedroom and made his way across the upstairs hall to his office where he could phone the estate agent to hopefully arrange a viewing. A short time later he walked back into the bedroom with a smile on his face. The credits of Molly's TV show were just rolling and she looked over at Charles.
"What are you grinning about?" she asked him suspiciously.
"Oh nothing," he replied, looking out the window "it's a really nice day out there, do you fancy going for a drive?" Charles asked her.
Molly contemplated his idea briefly.
"Go on then, I don't think a bit of fresh air will kill me." She said whilst getting up out bed "But you're driving mate." She added.
Charles laughed at her whilst he walked over to his chest of drawers and picked out an outfit to wear.

"Charles, where the fuck are we?" Molly asked as pulled up on the driveway in front of a very large and beautiful looking house.
"Come on Molly, let's be spontaneous!" Charles replied, before getting out of the car and running round the car to open Molly's door for her.
The house itself was stunning and absolutely perfect. It had four bedrooms so they would have room to have Sam stay and also room for either of their parents to stay if they should want. Molly had fallen in love with the kitchen and the garden was ideal for a family.
"So," said Charles as they got back into their car after having looked round the house "what did you think?"
Molly for one of the first times in her life really didn't have much to say.
"It was a lovely house, maybe a bit big for just you though." She told him after a lot of thought.
"Just me?" Charles asked her, confused. Then he realised what she was thinking. "Ohhh, I see. Well it wouldn't be just me in there. I was thinking we could buy it and live there together you big muppet." He laughed, taking hold of her hand.
Molly's eyes opened wide
"You want us to buy a house together?! You haven't even asked me to live with you yet!" she said, trying to keep the quiver of excitement out of her voice.
"You're right, I guess I haven't!" Charles replied. "Consider this my roundabout way of me asking. I'd love it if we lived together, I would be able to see you every day and I couldn't think of anything better than that. What do you say?" he asked her.
Molly crossed her arms over her chest.
"No." She replied. Charles' face immediately dropped and he looked as if she had just kicked a puppy. Molly managed to keep up the pretence for almost a whole minute before she burst out laughing and threw her arms around Charles. "I would love to live with you. This is our future home. I just know it." She told him softly.
Charles' face grew into a splitting grin.
"You'll be the death of me Molly Dawes." He told her as he reversed out the driveway and began the drive home.
"Maybe, but you love me!" Molly told him happily.
"Oh that I definitely do." Charles replied.
That afternoon, Charles put an offer in on the house. A few days later he and Molly were met with the amazing news that their offer had been accepted.
