Second chapter of the day! I just wanted to say once again thank you for all of your kind words. I'm having a blast writing this, but I wouldn't nearly have as much motivation to write if I wasn't getting the support of my lovely readers. I can't tell you how excited I am when I get a notification on my phone that I've had a review! I hope you all continue to enjoy reading and responding to this as much as I enjoy writing it xxx

Moving into their dream house was a pretty stressful experience...

Molly stood in the middle of the living room at her parents house surrounded by various boxes and suitcases filled with her worldly possessions. The removal van would be arriving soon and she was feeling very overwhelmed. Luckily for her though, Rebecca had offered to look after her siblings for the day and had taken them to the zoo with Sam. Molly was incredibly grateful for this, it meant she could move her things without small children getting under her feet and she had made a mental note to repay Rebecca with a bottle of her favourite prosecco.

"Molls, do you want me to start taking some of these boxes down stairs?" Belinda asked, walking into the living room.

This was the straw that broke the camels back and Molly opened her mouth to answer before bursting into tears.

"Oh Molly!" Her mum exclaimed, making her way through the maze of boxes and pulling her daughter into a hug "What's the matter love?"

Molly cried into her mother's shoulder as the older woman rubbed her back soothingly. It took a good few minutes before she calmed down enough in order to talk.

"Oh mum. I don't know. I've got so much stuff and I don't know what to do with half of it. Charles ain't gonna want my crappy stuff cluttering up everywhere." Molly sniffled.

Belinda sat down on the sofa with her daughter, knowing there was more to this breakdown than Molly was letting on.

"I remember when I first moved in with your dad. It was the happiest day of your grandad's life, meant he had one less daughter to worry about." Belinda told her daughter "I was pretty nervous though, I hadn't lived by myself before and wasn't really sure what to expect. But, I packed my whole life into a few cardboard boxes. A lot less than you 'ave 'her mind." She added with a laugh. "Listen Molls. I don't think I've ever seen anyone as in love with somebody as Charles is in love with you. You're going to be absolutely fine." Belinda said hugging her daughter again. "Now. Let's move all this downstairs and wait for the van."

Molly nodded, carefully drying her eyes on her sleeve.

"And," Belinda added, picking up one of the lighter boxes "if there's any boxes that you haven't emptied after six months. Bin it. You obviously didn't need whatever was inside it. Now come on, I can't move all this on my own!"

Molly smiled at her mum before getting up to help her mum.

Charles was pacing around the downstairs of his empty house. His phone was glued to his ear and he was exchanging angry words with whoever was on the other end of the phone.

"I don't care about the dammed traffic." Charles snapped down the phone "I was assured that the furniture would be here by ten. It's now almost midday and there is no furniture." He paused to listen to what the other person was saying before rolling his eyes "Whatever, just get here quickly!" he said authoritatively before hanging up and stuffing his phone in his pocket.

Dave poked his head round the living room door where he was finishing the painting.

"Everything alright there mate?" he asked.

Charles let out a big sigh.

"The van with the beds, sofas and other big furniture has been caught up in traffic. The M4 has been blocked due to some fuckmuppet having an accident apparently. Nothing is going right and Molly is going to be here soon and I was hoping to have the furniture sorted by the time she got here. When I spoke to her earlier she sounded a bit overwhelmed so I wanted things to be under control by the time she arrived." Charles rambled exasperatedly, scratching the back of his head.

"My Molly is tougher than any of us are lead to believe you know." Dave said. "Listen, I'm done with the painting in there, let's have a quick breather whilst we wait for everyone else to get here."

Charles nodded.

"I think I've got some warm beers in the kitchen if you're interested?" Charles asked.

Dave shook his head.

"Nah, I'm on the wagon. It's a fairly new thing and I'm finding it as hard as 'ell if the truth be known but I'm trying to be a better man. Want my family to be proud of me." He replied.

Charles opened his eyes wide in shock but quickly recovered.

"There's definitely tea bags in there too. Molly made me promise to unpack those first, come on." Charles told his future father in law.

The next few hours were chaotic to say the least. With Molly arriving with all her boxes, followed by the furniture arriving and then a flurry of different deliveries throughout the afternoon, everyone was kept on their toes. But Charles, Molly and their parents worked hard to organise and unpack everything and managed to maintain an element of calm amongst all the chaos. By the time eight o'clock in the evening came everything was more or less organised, but everyone was exhausted. They were all sat together in the living room, waiting on the takeaway Charles had ordered.

"I can't thank you all enough." Molly yawned as she flopped on her new sofa with a glass of wine. "Today has probably been the most stressful day of my life, I wouldn't have got through it without you all."

Charles pulled his girlfriend into his arms.

"You've been pretty amazing too." He whispered into her neck.

"I wouldn't go that far." Molly replied catching her mother's eye "It's definitely been a team effort." She added, pulling Charles' arms around her tighter. "It looks amazing in here by the way, thanks dad."

Dave smiled at his daughter and took a drink of the cup of tea he was holding.

"Yes!" Penny said clapping her hands together "David you must come and decorate for Richard and I! Make sure you give me your contact details before you leave in the morning!"

Molly smiled as she watched her parents bond with Charles' parents. She was in Charles' arms, in a house that belonged to the two of them and everything at that particular moment in time was perfect. Nobody could have been happier than she was.
