Wedding dress shopping was a rather stressful experience for Molly...
Molly sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror. Another dress that didn't feel right. She was beginning to feel a bit disheartened, like she'd never find 'the one'. This particular dress was pure white and strapless with a sweetheart neckline, the bodice was heavily embellished and it had a vast netted skirt.
"Oh Molly! You look beautiful!" Belinda gasped when she saw Molly.
Molly's nan was better at reading her granddaughter's expression.
"Not to worry love, there's plenty more dresses for you to try. You do look stunning though, it does 'ave to be said." Her nan told her.
"I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to marry Charles in my underwear." Molly said, still looking in the mirror.
Penny, who was taking a sip of the complementary champagne that had been provided by the bridal boutique, choked at her future daughter in law's comments.
"Whilst I'm sure my Charles would love that..." Penny said with a twinkle in her eye. "I promise you're going to find the one. I tried on hundreds before I found my wedding dress when I married Richard."
"She's right there Molls." Belinda added "You need to find one that you feel happy and comfortable in, and I promise you will."
Molly smiled at the three older women around her.
"I'm not really a fan of the whole fluffy meringue look. I don't really think white's my colour. I saw a champagne coloured dress a while ago but didn't feel brave enough to try it, do you reckon it'd be worth a go?" Molly said as she picked up her phone to check for messages. She had just the one from Charles.
-How's it going? C xx
Molly smiled at her phone before tapping out a quick reply.
-Badly. I think I'm going to end up marrying you in my pants... M xx
Molly then locked her phone before putting it back in her handbag and then turning her attention back to everyone else in the room.
"I was just saying love that I'll help you get that dress off. You're nan's gone to find an assistant to get you that dress you wanted to look at and Penny's gone to check in on Richard." Belinda told Molly with a smile. "I can't tell you how much it means that I get to share today with you Molls."
"You're my mum, of course you 'ad to be 'ere." Molly replied before pulling her mum into a tight hug.

"I take back what I said before." Molly said in complete awe as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. "This is my wedding dress."
The other three woman in the room were all fighting back tears as they looked at her. The dress she was wearing looked as if it had been made for her and she looked absolutely stunning.
"You look beautiful baby." Belinda whispered through her tears.
"My son is a very lucky man." Penny agreed.
"Oh give over you three! It's only a dress!" Molly gently scorned the other women. But the more she looked at herself in the mirror the more emotional she felt. "I look like a princess." She choked out.
"Right." Molly's nan said as she clapped her hands together "Let's get you out of that dress before we all ruin it by blubbering all over it. Then your mother and I will go and pay."
"You can't possibly do that!" Molly gasped but her nan waved her off.
"It's the least you can let us do. Your mum and I have been saving up for this for a while. It'd be a privilege to buy this dress for you sweetheart." Nan said.
Molly really didn't know what to say. She just pulled her mother and grandmother into a big, bone crushing hug.

A short while later, Molly and everyone else was walking out of the bridal store. The dress had been paid for and she would go back a few weeks before the wedding for a final fitting to make sure everything about it was perfect. As they walked round the corner to find somewhere to get a drink Molly pulled her phone from her handbag and sent Charles another text.
-looks like I'm not getting married in my undies after all ;) M xx
Charles' reply was instantaneous.
-Dammit! C xx

I appreciate I was quite mean not giving a description of the wedding dress Molly finally did choose but I figured as Charles had to wait until their wedding to see it, so would everyone else! Hope you all enjoyed this chapter, see you soon! Em xxx
