A/N well, here it is, the glorious chapter you have all been waiting for everyone. Naruto vs. Mewtwo will happen in this chapter, which I'm sure that you have all been waiting for; now remember, Naruto and Sakura have no clue what Mewtwo is at this time.
And with the powers that Mewtwo has and the skills that Naruto and Sakura have, this will not be easy as they are still young and Genin as well, but they will be training to get stronger, and later, Ash will also learn Aura, something I feel the anime should have done.

Chapter 14 Mewtwo's appearance
It was yet another bright day, and our heroes were taking a much-needed rest while heading towards Vermillion City with both Naruto and Sakura at this time, both practicing their ninja skills. After all, both knew they needed it as both Ash and Misty watched them both training while Brock made the group lunch some food.
Ash was amazed by what he saw as he looked at his two ninja friends and saw what they were doing. "You have to admit Ash they are both skilled at what they do," Misty said with awe in her voice as she looked over to Ash, who was nodding.
"I know Misty I just hope we can find away to also get them home someday," Ash said, knowing both their friends must have missed their home very much.
Unknown to the two younger members, Naruto and Sakura looked over to Ash and Misty and smiled at them, hearing what they had said. "It's alright you two," Naruto spoke up first and gave a bright smile at the two. "I mean it's true Sakura-chan and I do miss our home."
Sakura nodded at this as she soon decided to speak as well. "But we also know that if this never happened we would have never met you guys, and I have to say I still want to know more about this world and find more Pokémon as well."
"Besides..." Naruto began looking at the two with a massive grin on his face while Sakura was giving a smile of her own at the two younger friends. "I'd like to think of it as an adventure."
"Me too I mean it's so different from back home then again with Naruto around things was never that dull," Sakura answered as her gaze turned to Naruto and smiled at him.
Ash knew that Sakura and Naruto made a good point, and Ash was happy to have friends with him on his adventure. "Still we gotta say you and Sakura are pretty good," Ash said as he and Misty had seen their training and were very impressed.
Sakura lightly nudged Naruto. "We better get back to training after all we can't let our skills grow dull just because we have nothing to worry about."
Naruto nodded after what happened with Charmander and then getting as efficiently trapped as they had been. Naruto knew that he and Sakura needed to train more, unsure if Team Rocket had more things to trap them.
With that said, both ninjas went back into the open area as they looked at each other and gave a simple smile. "Well come at me Naruto and don't even think of holding back as we both need to get a lot stronger for what we may face."
However, all Naruto did was look over at her with a smirk forming on his face. "Don't worry Sakura chan I won't just don't you hold back either."
"Well I wouldn't have it another way Naruto. We both want to see what the other can do, just hold off on the Rasengan okay since I don't want to be sent flying like Pikachu and Ash do to Team Rocket," She said as she lightly laughed, thinking of what it was like for the three members.
Naruto soon formed two shadow clones that were shortly standing next to him, with the two clones and the real Naruto now looking over at Sakura with a smile to which she returned to her team-mate and friend.
"I just hope Naruto doesn't try that Jutsu we saw back a Pewter City," Misty said with a frown on her face as she already had her mallet out just in case he did try it.
Pikachu just nodded at what Misty said as he, too, looked at the two ninjas. 'Well if he does I know that you and Sakura will be teaching him a lesson as to why he shouldn't use it again.'
However, Ash was still confused at what they were talking about as he looked over to Misty. "I still don't get it really," Ash said with a whisper as everyone just looked at him, but none couldn't blame him after all. He was an only child and was still ten.
"You know since they are training maybe you should train your Pokémon you two, after all lunch is still going to be a while," Brock told Ash and Misty with a smile on his face while adding some spice to the food he was making for everyone.
Both Ash and Misty looked at each other and just gave a smile knowing that Brock was right as it would help them and their Pokémon out. "Alright then Ash I'm game if you are?" Misty asked as she gave Ash a smirk.
Ash nodded as he knew that Pikachu wouldn't want to battle Misty, plus he needed to train his other Pokémon. "Alright then Squirtle come on out!" Ash yelled as he tossed Squirtle's Poké Ball into the air.
Misty just watched as she saw Squirtle coming out from his Pokéball and knew she needed to pick wisely. "Well Ash I hope you're ready," Misty said as she picked one of her own Pokémon and looked over to Ash. "Misty, calls Clefairy!" Misty yelled, calling out her Pokémon to action.
Once Clefairy was out, both Pokémon looked at each other, knowing that they would soon battle each other, which they were okay with as they wanted to get stronger and wanted to bond with their trainers some more.
'Well you ready?' Clefairy asked Squirtle with a smile as she waited for Misty to give her an order.
"Well Ash I'll let you go first," Misty said with a grin forming on her face as she saw Ash node at her.
Ash nodded as he looked at Squirtle. "Okay Squirtle lets start off with a Tackle," Ash said with a smile on his face.
Squirtle nodded and rushed towards Clefairy while the latter was ready for the attack that she could see coming towards her. "That's it Clefairy, now just wait for the right moment, and the dodge it," Misty called out to her Pokémon with a smile on her face.
Clefairy just did as her trainer told and watched and waited as she soon saw Squirtle running towards her and knew just what to do. As once Squirtle had gotten close to Clefairy only for it to jump over Squirtle and ready to attack, however unknown to Clefairy, Squirtle only smiled and was fully prepared for this as he fired a water gun at Clefairy.
As Clefairy avoided the attack, she didn't realize that he was expecting something like this from her when she evaded. "Now use that Bubblebeam attack you learned!" ordered Ash, which Squirtle immediately complied with a barrage of bubbles. The attack soon struck Clefairy before she could land on the ground, much to the surprise of Brock, Naruto, and Sakura, who were all watching as the match was now taking place.
"Wait a minute, since when did Squirtle know Bubblebeam?" asked Naruto, somewhat unsure of what to make this because he doesn't recall the Tiny male Turtle ever using the attack when they first met him. "Normally he can't learn it on his own but he could learn the regular Bubble attack…."
"You could say that Ash used the TM he got from Misty's sisters to give Squirtle the ability to use the move in battle," explained Brock, getting the attention of the two trainers from Konoha as it made them even more confused than ever, but he couldn't blame them. "There are a total of 50 TMs also known as Technical Machines in Kanto along with five HM or Hidden Machines, they all have the ability to teach Pokémon attacks that they can't normally learn via just training. Then again Bide is also a TM that you guys received following the events at Pewter City."
Remaining silent soon made Naruto and Sakura think about it to allow the new information, making them smile. "Guess that makes sense, so does this mean all Pokémon have the ability to learn moves from TMs and HMs?" wondered the pinkette, which caused Brock to shake his head with a frown on his face.
"Sadly no, because there are some Pokémon that aren't compatible with certain TMs or HMs… In fact you can use HMs to get past certain obstacles that you may encounter in the future so be sure to be prepared for when that time comes."
Both ninjas nodded their heads as they turned their attention back towards the battle between Ash and Misty. They could see that both trainers were now very determined to defeat the other to make up for their match being interrupted by Jessie, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket at the Cerulean City Gym not too long ago. "You know, I am actually surprised you decided to teach your Squirtle the Bubblebeam attack but that won't be enough to win Mr. Pokémon Master!" remarked the orange-haired Tomboyish Mermaid with a light smile on her face. "Alright that's the way now use Doubleslap Now!"
'Okay, then here it goes!' responded Clefairy, getting ready to use her Normal-Type attack against Squirtle. Still, Ash wasn't going to allow Misty to get hit by this attack as Ash and his Water-Type Starter were also very determined to win this one no matter what.
"Squirtle use Withdraw now!" he countered, with Squirtle hiding into his shell to protect himself from the incoming attack, and it also helped in raising his physical defense significantly. Still, Ash isn't close to finished just yet, preparing for his next move. "Use your Bite attack next!"
Upon coming out of his shell, Squirtle began sinking his teeth into Clefairy, but for some reason, It didn't do that much damage at all, which made everyone somewhat surprised the moment they bore witness to it. 'What the how did?!' He wondered, shocked that his attack didn't do much damage.
"Okay… That is unexpected…" began Misty, blinking a bit though she immediately snapped those thoughts out of her head because there was still a battle that she wanted to finish. They would find out why Squirtle's Bite attack didn't hit Clefairy that much later when it was over. "Clefairy, use Pound!"
With one punch, Clefairy managed to knock Squirtle off of her and onto his back. "Wait, what exactly just happened?" wondered Naruto, still trying to figure out how Clefairy just shrugged off Squirtle's attack since it wasn't the case with the Bubblebeam he used on her earlier. "Bite should have done more damage than that…."
"To be honest, even I am not so sure…" answered Brock, knowing that there were some questions he couldn't answer at all, which would be something they'd need to talk with Clefairy on after the match. "Odds are Clefairy might have some more surprises that we aren't aware of."
"Well I think that we should stop and leave it for later, I mean we have lunch to have and make our way to Vermillion City," Sakura said as she sat down on a log as Brock dished out the food he had made.
The others nodded at this as they, too, sat down for their lunch and talked about their plans for what they would all do when they reached Vermillion City. After all, there was a Gym there. "So do we know what sort of Pokémon that the gym leader there will use?" Naruto asked as he looked over to Brock and Misty since they might know.
Yet both simply shock their heads. "Sorry, I don't know who the gym leader is my sisters did or the Pokémon he might use," Misty said as she looked at the three as she knew they were trying to work out on the Pokémon that could get used on them.
"Well we might learn it once we get there," Ash said, and the others nodded but knew that wouldn't do them any good if they weren't ready.
"Well if its types like you have both used then I think we need to work out on what type they will use, if we know that then we could plan," Sakura said as she was thinking just what type might be used by the third Gym leader.
Soon Sakura took out the book that she had been given by Nurse Joy back in Viridian City. "From what the book says several known types of Pokémon and from what I have gathered so far it seems that many gym leaders like to use a certain type when they battle."
"So is we can work out who will use what we may have an edge?" Naruto asked, looking over to Sakura as she just nodded.
"Wow that's some smart thinking Sakura," Misty said with a smile as she looked at the young ninja as well. "But Sakura there are eight gyms all together so you would need to know what ones they will use," Sakura explained to the three as many trainers who first started didn't know what type of Pokémon a gym leader would use.
"So do you have any idea on what they might use then?" Ash asked as he had listened to this, and he knew that he would need to know this.
Sakura soon went silent, hearing this as she began to think this over as Naruto saw that she was now in deep thought. "Well, from what I can guess since Brock and Misty have used Rock/Ground and water. Then it could be an electric type they could use."
"So that means we all need to work out what Pokémon we should bring then," Naruto began to wonder as he knew they would need something that would work, and thanks to Sakura, all three could at least be ready for the battle.
Both Sakura and Ash nodded as they looked at their Poké Balls; as the female ninja eyes looked at the book that she held in her hands and gave a frown as she wanted to be ready, so did Ash and Naruto too.
After lunch, the grope was once again on the move, only this time, Brock was holding the map so that they didn't get lost as that was the last thing they needed right now, and neither Naruto nor Sakura honestly wanted a fight to start breaking out with Ash or Misty.
The group continued to walk through the woods, with both Ash and Naruto wanting to keep an eye out for any new Pokémon that they might be able to catch. While Sakura was going over the best battle plan, they soon heard the sound of training going on, and they decided to see what was going on.
"I wonder what that sound was?" Ash asked as he and Pikachu both ran towards the sound while the others quickly followed behind him.
Before they knew it, the five had reached the clearing and noticed a trainer with light purple hair, and from what they could tell, she was in the middle of training one of her Pokémon. "Who's that?" They all asked together as they watched the training that was going on.
They just continued to watch as even Brock and Misty were a little confused about the training as she was not giving any commands to her Pokémon, more so as they noticed she was standing there calmly as well. "I can tell your there," The trainer said with a smile as they looked over towards the group.
The five were all shocked by this as they knew she could see them. "How did…" Ash was the first to ask as he looked over to both Brock and Misty.
The two former gym leaders shook their heads at this as they didn't even know. Even Naruto and Sakura didn't know what to do as they were taken back by this, and we're sure they were hiding.
"What should we do?" Naruto thought as he looked at the trainer, wondering if it would be safe.
Just then, Naruto heard a voice in his head, and he knew it was not the Kyuubi talking to him. "You could come out I won't hurt you."
Looking at the others, Naruto stood up slowly as he began to walk over to the trainer that he and the others knew had stopped them. "Naruto what are you doing?" Ash asked his good friend as Naruto just looked at the others and gave a big smile.
"Hey I don't think that he wants' to hurt us," Naruto said as he looked over to the one that could have talked to him in his head, he was just not sure how.
Ash and the others just looked at Naruto and had a feeling that he knew what he was doing, so they too followed him towards where Naruto had gone, but they knew that they had to be careful.
The remaining four reached where Naruto was as the trainer with purple hair decided to wait until the other four came here so that they could all talk together. Once they all arrived, the trainer in question just gave a smile at them. "Hi I'm Anabel nice to meet you."
Meanwhile, Giovanni was sitting down with a smile on his face looking over the data that he had gotten so far from the two unknown kids that, well, his three not too competent members were tracking right now. "Not that it matters those three are doing just find keeping an eye on the two," He said with a smile as he pulled out two photos of the targets.
He first looked at Naruto's photo and looked over what little data he knew he had right now on the two in question. "I wonder just what else you can do boy?" Giovanni asked, looking over what he knew of Naruto.
An evil smile soon formed on the leader of Team Rocket's face as he saw that one thing this child could do was make clones and a lot of them as well; if what the three fools said was true, then it could be possible that this child could make even more.
But Giovanni had a feeling that this child could do far more than he was letting on right now hence why he was sending someone to test both children in what they could do, as he knew that they would both need to get pushed to show what they could genuinely do. "And soon I will know just what they can do, and once I do well then it's just a matter of getting what I need from them," Giovanni said; he soon sat back in his chair and looked over both photos once more while his Persian just gave a light meow to him.
Just then, Giovanni's phone started to ring, and he frowned at this. "This had better not be them," He said with a smirk knowing that Jessie and James needed to be busy keeping track of the kids, even if he had a better unit following them as well right now. "What is it?"
"Sir we found them and what's better is they've stopped," The voice on the other end said as Giovanni soon smiled at this news and petted his Persian.
"Good, I want you to keep yourself hiding I will be sending our friend to their location," Giovanni said as he soon got up and made his way towards the underground lad where the Pokémon were all kept, and before long, he arrived, looking at a Pokémon in armor. "We found them, you know what to do."
The Pokémon in question said nothing as all that happened was its eyes went blue, while Giovanni just looked on with a dark smile on his face knowing the kids wouldn't stand a chance with his most prized Pokémon on the job.
Later that very same day, Ash and his friends were having lunch with Anabel while both Ash and Naruto were still shocked that Anabel was, in fact, a girl.
"So…" Sakura began as she looked over to Anabel. "How did you know we were well hiding in the bushes as I'm sure that you couldn't see us?" Sakura asked, wondering if she could have sensed them somehow. "But that should be impossible."
"Well since coming here we have seen a lot that we would think would be impossible, who's to say that this world don't have abilities like the ones we have back home?" Inner said with a smirk on her face as she too looked at the purple-haired girl.
Sakura knew that her inner self was right; after all, some people trained in sensing out chakra back home, and who was to say that is this world that they too didn't have abilities. Maybe ones that would or could be unknown to Sakura and Naruto; after all, no one apart from their friends knew what chakra even was.
Anabel only looked over to Sakura and gave the girl a smile at what she was asking. "Well you see I can feel the emotions. It's kind of like an empathic ability to sense the emotions of living beings and communicating with them, I've had it ever since I was little."
The others looked at Anabel, shocked that she could do something like this, confirming Sakura's thoughts. "So…" Naruto began as he looked at Anabel, wondering something about her that had been on his mind. "Does that make you a Gym leader then?"
Anabel smiled at what Naruto asked, knowing it was something the others would want to know. "I don't see the harm in telling them."
On the other hand, Misty was looking at Sakura, seeing the thoughtful look that she had on her face right now, and she couldn't help but wonder what Sakura was thinking about right now. "Sakura is everything alright?" Misty asked as Sakura blinked before looking over to Misty.
"Oh well I'm just thinking is all Misty," Sakura said as her eyes went back to Anabel.
Sakura was mainly doing this to work how someone could have abilities like this as both she and Naruto knew they had never seen anyone back home with what Anabel could do. As far as they had learned, they hadn't been ninjas all that long and only seen and been in several fights and some they didn't like to remember.
"Whoa that sounds so cool!" Naruto cried out with a massive grin on his face as he was now standing next to Anabel and Sakura knew where this was going and couldn't help but smile at the sight she was seeing. "I wish I could do something like."
Anabel smiled at this and nodded. "Well I do need it to test the trainers that come here after all," Anabel said as she looked over to Sakura, remembering what the girl had asked her not too long ago. "And to answer your question Sakura, no I'm not a gym leader but a Frontier Brian."
"I don't think I've ever heard of that before has either of you?" Ash asked as he looked at the two former Gym leaders for an answer, hoping they might have it.
Both shook their heads, hearing this as this was even something they didn't know about before looking back to Anabel. "Sorry Ash I've never heard of a Frontier Brian before today," Misty said, now doing her best to try and remember if her sisters had mentioned that before.
"Same here Ash, wish I did man, but there are thing that even us Gym leaders do not know about," Brock said to his friend.
"Well you wouldn't, since we are not part of the Pokémon league or its other region branches," Anabel said as she looked at the five trainers. "You see what I'm part of is what we call that Battle Frontier, there are at least seven of us all together and we are a whole lot stronger than Gym leaders, but not stronger than the members of the Elite Four or the Pokémon champion and we are all around Kanto."
Hearing this, all five friends were shocked at what they had found out, as they all looked at each other. All of them are wondering what to say to this new information that they have now discovered.
"Well I wonder if I can challenge them," Ash said as he soon looked towards Anabel for the answer; after all, he still might not be ready, not only that, he was still getting badges for the indigo League.
Anabel looked over to Ash and then over to Naruto and Sakura. "Well, you need to remember that this is not something new trainers should take on, as we Frontier Brains have different was to test the trainers that come to battle us."
They all nodded at what Anabel had told them, at least for right now, but maybe once they had gotten so much stronger with their Pokémon first.
Ash gave a simple grin on his face, and already the others could feel and know what he was going to do. Ash just continued to smile as he looked at Anabel and the others. "Oh man this sure sounds cool and a good challenge as well," Ash said as he soon looked down at Pikachu. "So what do you say Pikachu? When we get stronger shall we take up the Battle Frontier?"
'Oh I think that we should I know the other will be up for it as well plus we still need to be ready for them as well and will need a lot of training as well,' Pikachu said with a smile on his face as he would tell his friends about this later.
Walking over to the two, Anabel looked at Ash and Pikachu with a smile on her face knowing that this would be a good battle for her when they came back, as she had a good feeling about the two and the bond that they had with each other.
Both Misty and Brock were the same as well since they wanted to know how Ash would do, and both looked over to Naruto and Sakura, now wondering if they were going to take part once they had grown stronger with their Pokémon.
Both ninjas could see that there were now on the spot, and they were all unsure right now as they didn't know if when this did happen, they wouldn't be back home or not. "Well I'm not sure I'll take part in this Ash, what about you Naruto?" Sakura asked as she saw that he, too, was thinking this over.
Scratching the back of his head, Naruto looked over to Sakura and knew why she was not taking part; they had no idea how long they would be here, sure; he wanted to take up this challenge, but he was just not sure right now. "Well I'm not sure right now Sakura chan maybe is all I can say."
"Well…" Anabel said, looking at the two. "You don't have to answer me right away, just give it some thought as I would like to battle all three of you when you get stronger. Just work thing out first okay as I have a good feeling that all three of you will become very powerful," Anabel said, knowing how the two felt right now.
With a blink, both ninjas looked over to Anabel as they knew what she was doing right now; she saw their emotions in the situation. "It still freaks me out that you can do something like that Anabel," Sakura said to the girl, and Misty nodded at this as well.
"Yean, I mean that would mean you could tell when someone is in love with someone else, not to mention the dark emotions that someone could have, I mean not all trainers are nice after all Anabel we have heard of some not so nice trainers or people," Misty said as she tried not to think of her parents that she had lost.
Yet these thoughts only betrayed her, as she had forgotten who she was with at that very moment, and Anabel could feel the grief and sadness that Misty had right now and could tell that Sakura knew a little of Misty's past. "Don't worry Misty I would never tell someone else what another person is feeling."
Looking up, Misty knew that Anabel sensed the feelings that she had for someone and was worried. However, once Misty heard what Anabel said about not telling people or other people, she felt a lot better. After all, she was not ready to tell Ash, Brock, or Naruto about her parents, not yet anyway. "Thanks Anabel." Misty said with a whisper and was just happy that her male friends were busy at that very moment.
Sakura quickly looked over to Misty as she placed a hand on the younger girl's shoulder; after all, she had no idea how Misty's parents passed or even how she could help right now. After all, she still had both her parents alive back home, at least as far as she knew right now since she couldn't tell how they were.
She soon remembered Sasuke and how he acted, and unlike Sasuke, Misty and even Naruto didn't act the way Sasuke behaved. Since Sasuke behaved like he had a stick up his ass, Misty didn't, and she was not acting cold to all around her as they owed her something for the pain she had suffered. Sakura was not sure if it was because Misty was a girl, but Sakura had a feeling that even if Sasuke was a girl, the Uchiha could still act the way he does now.
"Misty…" Sakura began, but the pink-haired girl quickly stopped when Naruto Anabel and herself felt something coming towards them, something dark and powerful.
"Sakura chan do you feel that?" Naruto asked as he rushed towards her getting a feeling that they would be in for a fight.
"I do it's the same feeling I got back in Viridian City," Sakura said with a worried tone in her voice as she looked around and wished that she and Naruto trained in sensing back home.
"What the matter Sakura you and Naruto look worried?" Misty asked as she looked at the two ninjas seeing the look they now had on their faces, and she was not the only one either.
As both Ash and Brock could see this, the group wondered what was going on to make everyone so worried right now, which was more so with Ash. Ash knew from what Naruto and Sakura had told them that they shouldn't be this worried, and he couldn't help but wonder what had got them this worried.
On the other hand, Anabel just wrapped her arms around her body in fear, which didn't go unnoticed by the other either and made them wonder just what was going on. "Anabel what's wrong?" Ash asked, now getting worried for Anabel as he didn't know why she was acting like this.
"Cold…" Anabel whispered, a terrified look on her face, which worried Ash and the others right now. After all, from just knowing Anabel in only a short time, it looked as if nothing scared the young woman all that much; what could do this to Anabel. "It feels so cold."
Ash, Brock, and Misty were more worried now that something terrible was coming. The question currently on their minds was making the three get so concerned about seeing the fear on their faces. Ash knew he would battle whatever this threat was, but he and the others all wondered where it came from first.
At the very point, the same thing that Naruto, Sakura, and Anabel felt landed a few meters away from them, and all the six could do was look at the strange Pokémon standing in front of them, at least what they thought was a Pokémon.
"What is that?" Ash wondered as he looked at the Pokémon in this strange amour it's wearing, as he looked at Pikachu and even his friends for some kind of answer.
'I don't like the look of this Ash.' Pikachu said, who felt something off by this Pokémon standing before them. 'Something just feels off on this one.'
Ash nodded and looked at the Pokémon once more and then down at Anabel, who was still cowering in fear. Ash could tell that what Anabel could feel standing in front of her was nothing good. All she did was wrap her arms around her body as Sakura tried her best to get through to her. "Anabel come on." Sakura called, pulling Anabel to her feet as she too looked at the Pokémon standing before her.
"I have no idea what this Pokémon is," Brock said as he too was looking at the Pokémon, which for the most part, was not moving right now; all it was doing from what they could all tell was it was most definitely watching them all, almost like it was waiting.
Ash, however, took out his Pokédex to find out what this Pokémon was. "There is no data Pokémon is unknown."
Ash just looked at his Pokédex at this and then looked up to the Pokémon, and he knew that he was not alone, as the others around him were taken back by this. After all, this could be a Pokémon from a region that they had never seen before, but that made them wonder what it was doing in this region; the one thing they all knew was it couldn't be anything good.
"So these are the two children I was told about then," Mewtwo thought, frowning as he looked over at Naruto and Sakura since Giovanni had shown Mewtwo their photos, so Mewtwo knows what Naruto and Sakura looked like to test them.
The powerful cloned Pokémon just looked at the other trainers that were here as well, and while this would be trouble with them seeing him, it matters very little to Mewtwo he was going to do the mission Giovanni ordered him to do
Yet as he looked at the two ninjas in question, both Naruto and Sakura could feel that the armored Pokémon was looking at them, and it didn't make either of them feel any better either. "Naruto, Sakura it's looking right at you."
Both ninjas nodded at what their friends were seeing, and Naruto looked over to Sakura. "I think it's here for us guys just stand back alright the last thing either of us want now is for you four to get hurt," Naruto said as he gave a frown having a bad feeling.
Anabel just looked at the two as she, too, knew this was a bad idea and needed to tell them. "NO!" She yelled with fear still in her voice, doing all she could not look at the Pokémon before her.
Both Naruto and Sakura quickly looked over to Anabel when they heard this wondering what she was talking about, till they remembered that she could sense what another was feeling. "Yeah, Anabel we know," Sakura said as she too had a feeling just what it wanted.
The two Genin looked over to the Pokémon as they saw what looked like its eyes glow blue. "Right I don't know who or what you want but you better leave," Naruto told the Pokémon standing before them, ready to and willing to fight.
However, Mewtwo didn't pay any attention to what Naruto was even saying; all he did was look at both him and Sakura, trying to work them out. "All I have to do is see what theses humans can do."
Sakura looked at the others as Pikachu's cheeks began to spark every so lightly. "Don't worry we'll help as well Naruto," Ash said with a smile on his face as he looked at Pikachu. "Okay then Pikachu let's do this."
Pikachu nodded at this and jumped in, ready to battle this unknown Pokémon, and Pikachu looking at the armored Pokémon, knew it was looking back at him. 'I don't know what you are but I have a bad feeling your here to hurt Naruto and Sakura.'
Mewtwo didn't care for the little yellow mouse but knew he would need to deal with it to complete the mission Giovanni gave him. "I have little time for this," Mewtwo thought as he gazed over to the trainer in question.
With a smile on his face and full confidence in Pikachu. "Alright buddy let's do this with a Thundershock!" Ash cried out as Pikachu nodded and fired a powerful attack towards the Pokémon in question.
However, Mewtwo raised his arm the moment Ash told Pikachu what to do while the others watched, wondering what was happening. Before they knew it, Pikachu's Thundershock reached the Pokémon, and they thought it would at least do something; however, to their shock, a barrier shot up to block the attack like it was nothing.
"What no way!" Naruto said in shock as he looked at the Pokémon, not liking this and knowing that this was not all.
"Don't worry Ash we'll help too," Misty said, getting a Poké Ball in her hand as Brock joined her as well, both wanting to help Ash.
With that in mind, the two also called out their most trusted Pokémon to deal with this unknown and very deadly Pokémon before them, while Mewtwo simply looked at the three trainers standing in his way. "It seems I have to deal with theses foolish children."
Mewtwo looked at the three Pokémon he knew one was a Pikachu from the boy with the hat, the other Pokemon that's getting sent out to battle was an Onix from the tail male the last Pokémon was a Staryu from the red-headed girl.
"Okay on the count of three," Ash said, looking at Misty and Brock while Naruto and Sakura were working on a battle plan on what to do, knowing it was here for them.
"Naruto I think Team Rocket sent it here," Sakura said with a whisper in Naruto's ear, and the blonde hair ninja nodded at her knowing she was right.
"I know Sakura chan, but we have no idea what…." Naruto began but soon heard Ash as both ninjas looked over to their three friends.
They saw that their Pokémon had attacked the one they were facing, and for a short moment, they thought that attack would have done something as all around the armored Pokémon was dust from were three attacks and hit their mark.
"Alright we got it," Ash said as he and the others just gave a smile to each other.
"No…" Anabel began as she looked at the dust cloud, feeling the darkness of the Pokémon that was in there, still knowing that the three attacks didn't do a thing. "It's not enough."
Both Naruto and Sakura knew that Anabel was right as they soon saw the dust disappear, and standing there unharmed was the armored Pokémon. "No it didn't work." Sakura cried as she watched the Pokémon.
Soon, Mewtwo began to make his move and looked at the three Pokémon who had tried to attack him and failed to do any damage to him. Naruto noticed his eyes change blue once more as blue Aura formed around him, and the three Pokémon that he was facing, even Ash, Brock, and Misty, were wondering what was going on as well.
"I need to get them fools out the way," Soon, all three Pokémon began to get lifted into the air as Ash and the others all watched this in shock and horror.
Without saying anything, all three Pokémon in question were tossed aside like nothing to the side as Mewtwo looked over to where he had sent them before looking to Naruto and Sakura. "It's waiting for us to make a move Naruto and I don't think it wants to battle our Pokémon."
Naruto just nodded at what Sakura said. "Well, I guess that we need to step in then, I know that it's what it wants, but I think we have no other option left now," Naruto began as he looked at Sakura and then the others, knowing this was what the Pokémon in front wanted. Sakura stays with the others and keeps them safe."
"What…!" Sakura cried in shock as she looked at Naruto, already wondering what he was thinking in doing this; after all, she still didn't know what this Pokémon could do. "But we have no idea what that thing can do, not only that it just took down three Pokémon."
Naruto looked at Sakura and knew she was right, but he didn't want her or the others also getting hurt. "I know Sakura chan but we still can't let our friends get hurt either, plus it will give you time to run if needed."
Now being who she was, Sakura caught this and gave a deep frown at what Naruto was asking her to do. "No I'm not going to just run away and leave you to face that thing Naruto," Sakura replied with her arms crossed over her chest.
Looking at her and knowing she was right, the last thing Naruto wanted right now was for Sakura to get hurt, and he was not going to let that happen; he even had a feeling that with what Anabel could do, she sensed it as well. "I know but still," Naruto said with a worried look on his face.
"It seems they don't want to attack, fine then I'll get it started," Mewtwo thought as he looked at the pink hair girl, knowing just what he had to do; after all, she was a target as well, and since neither was coming for him, then he would get the blonde to attack.
Outstretched his arm while Naruto was wondering what was going on now. "What is it?" Naruto asked, looking on with a confused look on his face while asking what it was trying.
He soon got his answer as he heard screaming from Sakura and looked over to see what was going on and what she was screaming about as well. He saw Sakura now getting lifted into the air just like what happened with Ash, Misty, and Brock's Pokémon not too long ago, only he had a feeling this was different than what happened to them.
Sakura had the same blue Aura around her body, but her face was not in shock like he had seen with Pikachu; no, Sakura's face was that of someone in pain. "Argh it hurts please stop!" She cried out in pain as she felt like a force was crushing her whole body that she couldn't even see.
"Sakura chan hold on." Naruto cried, running to help her, but the moment he reached her, she was still getting lifted higher into the air, and all Naruto could do was look back at the one he knew was doing this to her. "Stop it let her go!"
Yet Mewtwo didn't listen to the human; he just continued to tighten his grip on Sakura, who, in turn, cried out in pain. "It hurts please stop!" Sakura cried out again with tears running down her face at what was happening, wishing it would end.
Naruto just grows a lot angrier with each passing moment that he saw Sakura in more pain, and he knew that this was not going to end. "I said let her go!" Naruto screamed as he got ready to attack this armored Pokémon.
Mewtwo once again ignored what Naruto was saying as he just continued to cause Sakura more and more pain, while Naruto couldn't stand this anymore. "FINE YOU WANT ME TO ATTCK!" Naruto cried with deep rage.
With that said, Naruto formed some shadow clones close to maybe around fifteen of them, and each one was looking directly at Mewtwo, who just put up another barrier around his body. Sakura and the other looked on as they saw what Naruto was doing, and Sakura tried to make Naruto stop by calling out to him, but with what was happening to her and the pain she was in, she couldn't.
"Don't think that's going to stop me!" Naruto yelled with anger as a clone came beside him, and in his hand, he started to form the Rasengan. "Fine you want to play that game, then how about you try this Rasengan!"
Soon, Naruto went flying towards Mewtwo at high speed, leaving the others watching, shocked at what they were seeing. "Is this what Naruto and Sakura can really do?" Ash asked as he watched what Naruto was doing in awe.
Misty and Brock shook their heads at this as they were unsure themselves, but Ash just looked to Anabel as he helped her up. "It's not going to be that easy, I can feel its emotions it not worried at all it like this is what it wanted all a long."
The three trainers all looked on as they heard this and soon looked at Naruto with Ash knowing who was behind this. "Team Rocket they must have sent it here."
"I think your right but…." Misty said as she was wondering what they could do as she had a feeling that none of their other Pokémon would be able to help them. "For what, I'm sure that they would need to be watching somewhere."
"Well we need to do something to help," Ash said as he looked over as he saw how much pain Sakura was in right now, and the young trainer from Pallet Town hated what was happening to one of his friends he had met.
On the other hand, being the oldest, Brock was watching, trying to think of what they could do, and he was not even sure what he could do to help Sakura and the danger that she was in right now. He soon looked back to Naruto and the many clones that he had made and could tell that this was about to get a lot worse before it started getting better.
On the other hand, Naruto was charging towards his enemy with the fully formed Rasengan in his hand, while Mewtwo watched the blue sphere in his hand. "So it seems that he doesn't like seeing his friends getting hurt."
Mewtwo knew that he could use this to his advantage, but he first needed to know just what this boy could do with the blue sphere in his hand. But while he was thinking this over, Naruto saw his chance to attack the one who was hurting Sakura as the blonde ninja went charging at full speed with full intent to stop this thing.
Sakura soon opened one eye to look at what was going on and saw that Naruto was attacking, which worried her as she got a good look at his eyes. They were no longer blue but red. "What's going on with Naruto it seems like…?" she asked as Sakura soon remembered just what was the cause of this. "The Kyuubi…"
Sakura knew that she needed to get to Naruto, or the Kyuubi inside would use his rage to try and take over his body; she looked slightly over to the others who were also watching. She knew that they wouldn't understand how to stop what could happen to Naruto as neither of them had told them about the Kyuubi.
On the other hand, Naruto had just reached the Pokémon he was facing, and his Rasengan had hit the Pokémon's barrier, which seemed to be holding Naruto's attack back. Mewtwo looking at the young boy that Giovanni told him about, was slightly impressed with what he could do.
Yet this all changed at the barrier that had had up was starting to break from Naruto's attack. "It seems he is strong for a human child."
Knowing that it was best not to fool around and maybe play it safe, Mewtwo soon let Sakura go as he intended to be careful around Naruto and make sure this child didn't catch him off guard.
Naruto seeing Sakura was free, just looked at Ash and the others and gave them all a simple node, to which all three knew what Naruto was saying as they quickly made their way over to Sakura and quickly got her out of harm's way.
"Sakura are you alright?" Misty asked with an anxious expression on her face as she looked at her friend.
Misty just looked at Sakura with blood coming from her mouth with a weak smile, showing that she was far from alright right now, but she was not about to tell them this as she didn't want them to be worried. "I'm alright you guys."
Yet they were all still worried for her and just how hurt she could be right now, but there was not much they could do now, honestly. Their thoughts were soon quickly cut off as they all heard Naruto give out a battle cry, and it made them realize that Naruto was still in an intense battle with the armored Pokémon. The latter seemed to be moving away from Naruto once the barrier protecting him was now entirely broken. Sakura was still worried about Naruto and what could happen if he got angrier. She could see the anger that Naruto was giving, but that was not all as she noticed the orange chakra cloak forming around his whole body along with a tail.
"No Naruto, you need to not let it control you!" Sakura cried to him, but he didn't hear her as he was mainly concerned about dealing with the one she knew had hurt her.
"It seems that this child may having something else to him than I know of," Mewtwo thought without fear as he looked to Naruto, who was now on all fours and began to charge at him.
"You're going to pay for hurting her," Naruto said with a growl in his voice, knowing that he was slightly taping into the Kyuubi's power right now.
"That's it brat let more of your anger out till I'm free," The Kyuubi said with a smirk from within Naruto, knowing this is just what he needed to be free.
"Shut up fox I'm not going to let you out in this world to hurt everyone," Naruto told the Kyuubi but only heard laughter from the demon fox.
The Kyuubi soon smirked at this, not caring what would happen as he just wanted to watch what would happen. "Okay then brat I'll just watch and you can have what you got right now, wonder if it will be enough," The demon fox thought with a smile as he looked at Naruto. "Maybe it will but maybe it won't, but what I know is that it shall be fun."
Once again, Naruto just ignored what the Kyuubi was telling Naruto as his mind was dealing with the armored Pokémon that Naruto knew was watching at waiting for him. "It's waiting for me to make a move on him."
Not wasting any time, Naruto went on the attack, once more knowing that he couldn't stop or his friends would also get attacked again. However, this time as he tried to attack the Pokémon in front of him just took to the sky.
From where he was, Mewtwo looked down at Naruto and wondered what else this child could do and if this was all he could do. "Hey get down here you coward!"
"So it seems that he can't get to me then," Mewtwo thought, looking at Naruto and then over to Sakura, who was no better after what had happened to her. Forming a plan on what else to do, Mewtwo created a shadow ball with his hands and looked at Naruto and then over to the others.
He soon picked who he was going to fire it on as the armored Pokémon knew who to target, and that was none other than Naruto. The latter, who saw the attack heading towards him, quickly and swiftly dodged the oncoming attack; soon, the attack caused an explosion as Naruto looked back and frowned. "That's not good."
Naruto was now looking back at the damage caused by Mewtwo, but with Naruto looking back at the dark power that this Pokémon had, and knew that he needed to be very careful around it. If not, then he would get hurt or worse. "Naruto watch out!"
Hearing Sakura yelling, Naruto quickly looked only to see the Pokémon in question attack him head-on. Naruto could tell that the Pokémon he was fighting had high speed and knew he had to be even more careful now, so acting fast, Naruto used his ninja skills to jump away before the Pokémon coming to him could do anything.
"I'm not going to last forever, and it knows it." Naruto thought, looking back as he saw hit forming more orbs and proceeded to throw them at Naruto.
Mewtwo continued his attack pushing the young human as far as he could with his powers. Yet looking over to him, Mewtwo knew full well that this human was not going to give up just like that; no, he was going to keep fighting. "This child…" Mewtwo thought, looking over to Naruto, who was now running towards him with a fist at the ready. "Is a little foolish but should not be taken lightly."
"I've got you this time!" Naruto yelled with anger in his voice, ready to punch the armored Pokémon but was stopped before his fist even met him. All Naruto could do at this point was look at the Pokémon he was very close to and give a growl at the thing that had stopped him.
"It's just like what it did to me I was unable to move," Sakura said with concern as she looked at what was going on, knowing that attacking would be pointless as she would end up stuck just like Naruto was, but that didn't mean she was about to give up. "Right now we need a plan, as we can't just rush in."
"Your right Sakura but what can we do to stop that thing," Misty asked as she saw that the Pokémon in question was not doing anything right now.
As they asked this, Mewtwo was about to make his next move when Giovanni called him back from the base. "That's enough Mewtwo you've done very well I think we have a good amount of data from this encounter," The new inbuilt radio said.
With a nod, Mewtwo dropped Naruto to the ground as he looked at the boy briefly before taking off into the air before taking off at high speed as everyone else watched what had just happened, and they were all confused at why it had just left. "What happened why did it just go?" Ash asked as he wondered why it would run while it was winning.
Sakura looked to Misty, Brock, and Anabel as they were all worried about what was going on as Ash was right. It was winning, so something must have called it off. "I know who sent it or at least I have a feeling on who sent it here."
But they knew they had to put that thought to later right now as they had to make sure Naruto was alright and not hurt. "Naruto hold on!"
Once the four reached him, Sakura helped Naruto to his feet as she looked him over, hoping that he was alright and not too hurt. "Why, why did it leave?" Naruto asked as he looked at Sakura and the others.
Shaking their heads, they all looked over to Naruto as he looked in the direction the Pokémon in question had gone off in. "We have no idea but we should be thankful it did."
The others knew that this was still a bad situation, while Sakura knew she needed to tell Naruto what happened while fighting the armored Pokémon. He needed to know that the others saw this as well, hoping nothing else would go wrong. "But are they ready to know yet?" Sakura thought, looking at her friends.
Yet they all needed to figure this out; once they had done this and made sure that everyone was alright and their Pokémon were fine as well, they knew it would be a good idea to move on from this location.
Later that very same day, and after making sure that nobody had been that seriously hurt that badly, they soon knew that's time to say goodbye to Anabel. "Well I guess that this is goodbye then for now," Anabel said as she looked at the young friends with a smile.
The others looked at Anabel with a smile and nodded as everyone all hoped they would get to see her again someday, but they also knew they needed to get back on track with their adventures.
"Sure just watch it out there," Anabel said as she looked at them with a frown on her face at what could happen when they left, all she could hope for was that they didn't run into that Pokémon again.
Soon the five trainers left, but all of them were still worried at the turn of events that had happened today, and they all knew that this might not be the last time they would see that Pokémon. "Well there is one thing we know that is for sure," Brock said with a frown on his face as he looked at the young members of the group.
"What's that then Brock?" Ash asked as he didn't like this either. "I mean that Pokémon it was…." Ash began as he could not say it as he was still having a hard time finding it to be even genuine.
"You mean evil," Sakura said as she looked to Ash as both she and Naruto felt it; after all, they were ninja and had seen a lot since they became ninjas.
"But that should be impossible I mean there can't be an evil Pokémon," Ash said as he looked to Sakura with a worried look now on his face at the thought of an evil Pokémon.
That just made them all silent once more at what this could mean. "Well, look for now at least we shouldn't worry about. After all it been a long day and I think that we all need a good long rest maybe there is a place that we can go to relax or something," Misty said as she looked at the group with a smile on her face.
"Misty's right let's just go somewhere to relax," Sakura said with a smile on her face, and Brock nodded as well as Ash and Naruto. "More so after today's events with that thing and what it could have done."
"I'm up for it how bout you Pikachu?" Ash asked as he looked down at Pikachu with a smile on his face.
'I can use it too after that thing we had to face,' Pikachu said with a happy grin as he jumped onto Ash's shoulder.
But the question on their mind is where they should go to relax, mainly as there were far away from any city and the nearest was Vermilion City. "Well, I hear that there are a few things to do Vermilion City, and the gym is there, so once you three get your third badge we can just relax in the city and see the sights."
The others all agreed to this, knowing that they were close to Vermilion City now and just hoped they could relax a little once they got there, but they knew that only time would tell for the five young friends.
A/N well the end of another chapter, I know that the fight is not all that big, but I knew with the skills that Naruto has at this time, there is not much that he can do right now, that is not to say he will fight the cloned Pokémon again. As I can tell you, he will be fighting Mewtwo later, but Naruto will be stronger when this happens.
Now I was going to have May shown up in the next chapter with the 8th film added into the mix and Ash learning about his Aura a lot sooner. However, I decided not to do it and mainly left that until much later. I will still add it will have to be a little later in the story but have no fear Ash will nevertheless learn of his Aura, and May will show up as I have the right episode she can show up, but she will not join our heroes that is for Hoenn guys and girls.
