A/N few I had almost forgotten about this with so much going on and all. Still, here it is Ash, Naruto, and Sakura will be getting their 3rd badge for them all, and yes, I know you all want to know, but Pikachu will stay the way he is as well it's who Pikachu is, after all, and I don't want to take that away from Pikachu.
Now, onto how I felt about Kalos league went and Ash, coming so close to winning but losing and getting 2nd place. In a way, I am both happy that he got 2nd place but also not satisfied that he lost after all he went through in Kalos; as for the new Sun and Moon anime, my god, they have made Ash look like an idiot, but I will wait to see what they do first.
That is something you will never have to worry about in any of my Pokémon stories. With where I am right now, Ash will not be that good, but he will grow to be a better trainer, and he is going to stay like this and not regress to being a newbie all the time with each region.
Chapter 15 Electric Shock Showdown
After two whole weeks of traveling in the woods with only a couple of small villages along the way, Ash, Misty, Sakura, Naruto, and Brock were all looking like it was a dream; it couldn't be real, could it? Maybe they're suffering from hallucinations and wishful illusions, and perhaps they're still lost somewhere in the forest; they see it, but they don't believe it.
Yet here it was right in front of them was a city and a large sign that said: 'WELCOME TO VERMILION CITY.' They finally made it. The group had finally arrived in Vermillion City.
"FINALLY, I can't wait to just relax and take a nice long bubble bath," Misty said dreamily.
Sakura nodded at Misty as she looked at how dirty their clothes were right now. "I can't wait to get all this dirt off."
"Well its worse for us as Sakura and I only have the one pair of clothes to wear after all, guess we may need to look for some new clothes," Naruto said, knowing they couldn't wear the same clothes forever.
"I better get the laundry done," Brock said after smelling their clothes.
Ash was very eager to obtain this third badge at the Vermillion Gym from here. "Well guys I don't know about you but I'm going to earn my third badge," Ash said with a grin on his face and was about to head off when Brock stopped Ash. "What the matter?"
Brocks pointed down to the ground where Pikachu was all tired from being lost for a month. "I think it would be best that we get Pikachu healed before you go and battle Ash and plan how the three of us can win as well," Sakura said with a thoughtful look on her face.
While in the Pokémon Center, Ash handed Nurse Joy of Vermilion City his Pikachu and his other five Poké Balls. "Can you please heal my Pokémon?" Ash asked as he looked at the nurse.
"Can you heal ours too please?" Both Naruto and Sakura asked as they too handed their Pokémon off to Nurse Joy.
"Of course, don't worry — we'll fix them right up," she informed them cheerfully. And then she caught sight of them staring at her. Nurse Joy grinned. "I know why you're surprised. I look like all the other nurses, don't I? My first cousin works in Pewter City, and my second cousin works in Viridian City. I think I'm the prettiest one, don't you?"
"Yeah," Brock agreed, nodding his head enthusiastically.
Ash just gave a smile as he looked over to Naruto and Sakura, knowing that as soon as their Pokémon were all healed, they would all head off to get their third gym badge. "It won't be long now you two."
Suddenly, the doors opened up, and a Chansey was pushing a stretcher with an unconscious and badly beaten Rattata on it with a little boy, presuming the trainer, running beside it all frantic. "Oh no please hurry! You'll be okay Rattata, HURRY!"
'I can only go so fast, sheesh,' Chansey mildly complained, but she understood the situation as it's been happening a lot recently, ever since the Gym found that accursed Thunderstone.
"Wow, I wonder what happened to that Rattata? It's in pretty rough shape," Brock said.
"Oh, that's the fifteenth one brought in this month," Joy sighed.
"FIFTEENTH?" the young trainers said as they all looked at Nurse Joy with shock at what she had just said.
The group all arrived where they could see many different Pokémon in bed, all badly injured with their trainers sitting down right next to them and having frowns on their faces as well at what had happened to their Pokémon.
"This is terrible," Brock said with a frown as he looked at all the injured Pokémon and shook his head at this, knowing that this Gym leader didn't mess around.
"They all lost to Lt. Surge the Vermilion Gym leader," Nurse Joy said with a worried voice for the Pokémon.
"Whoa he must be a great trainer then if he beat all of the trainers here," Naruto said with shock in his voice, wondering if he could win this battle as this was not like fighting someone with his ninja skills.
"Well Ash, you want to back down now?" Misty asked as she looked at Ash.
Ash looked at Misty. Now she's teasing him again. "Back down?" Ash asked as Naruto and Sakura saw what was coming and looked at each other.
"They're not going to start another love fight are they?" Naruto whispered to Sakura as he looked at Ash and Misty, hoping that neither heard him.
"We'll just have to wait and see," Sakura said as she whispered it back to Naruto, wanting to see this.
"Well it's just you talk big is all Ash, but the minute you see how hard it is to get badges you turn chicken," Misty said with arms crossed while Sakura nodded at Naruto that he had called it.
"You know Brock and my sisters GAVE you our Badges, how bad do you think it would be if you actually get creamed by this Gym?" Misty said with her hand on her hips.
"From the looks of it we are going to need to be tough on this Gym," Sakura said; she was feeling worried for her Pokémon right now and thinking could she Naruto and Ash win.
"Well I know we can do it never back down that's what I always say Sakura," Naruto said as he smiled, knowing he would not let this Lt. Surge beat him.
"That the thing you both earned a badge at least, Ash however has been giving two, I'm just saying this as they won't all give him a badge like Brock and my sisters did," Misty said as she looked back at Ash. "He will need to be smart about this so yeah I am worried."
"You have nothing to worry about, except maybe seeing my own incredible strength!" Ash yelled at Misty, not wanting to back down.
On the other hand, Nurse Joy decided to stop the fight that was going on between the two. "Alright that's enough you two."
"She started it," Ash said as he looked over to Nurse Joy, who had a calm look on her face.
"Remember this is a hospital," Nurse Joy said, which caused both Ash and Misty to look at all the trainers looking at Misty and Ash.
"You know they say when two people fight they really care about each other," Nurse joy said as she looked at both Ash and Misty and smiled at the two young trainers.
On the other hand, Ash and Misty just looked at each other when they heard this from Nurse Joy with a shocked look on their face. "What me care about her/him!" Ash and Misty yelled, looking at each other before turning away from each other, huffing with their arms crossed over the chest.
Nurse Joy, along with both Naruto and Sakura, couldn't help but laugh at this. "Oh that is so true you both have the hots for each other!" Naruto chuckled as he pointed at the two, while Ash and Misty looked at Naruto with a death glare on both their faces.
Then they heard a little musical ding. "Oh, that means your Pokémon are fully recovered," Nurse Joy said with a smile.
Once the group returned to the main lobby where Pikachu was sitting down, eating an apple, which just caused Ash to smile as next to Pikachu, Naruto's Eevee was also smiling at some food that got given out.
"Hey, there Pikachu it's good to see your better!" Ash cried out with a smile as he ran over to his Pokémon with a happy smile on his face. "After all I hope you're full because we got to win big at that Gym today."
'Oh you bet I am Ash, are you Eevee?' Pikachu asked his friend that was next to him.
Eevee nodded at this and looked to where Naruto was and knew that he was ready. 'Oh I am I know that we can win!' Eevee said with a smile and looked over to Naruto.
Seeing this, both Naruto and Ash gave a smile. "Good as we have a badge to earn!" Naruto said, getting pumped for the battle that was so come.
Yet this was all stopped when suddenly, a boy and another Chansey was strolling in a nearly dead Pidgey. "Please hurry, just hold on Pidgey!" The boy yelled with fright.
Naruto stared at the Pidgey as they passed by. "Okay, who in the right mind would use a PIDGEY of all things against an ELECTRIC Gym? No wonder that bird's in terrible condition."
Pikachu, on the other hand, jumped in fright at this. 'What that's the Gym you want me to face no way!' Pikachu screamed in fear and shook his head.
"What? Don't be a coward," Ash said, knowing that Pikachu was the same type as the Gym, thinking it should be a little easier for Pikachu to win.
However, Pikachu was still not convinced by this and shook his head once more. 'No way Ash, don't you care I may lose I mean look at what happened.'
Ash soon looked to where the trainer and his Pidgey had gone. "What, don't I even care if you end up like that Pidgey in there, is that it?" Ash asked as he soon looked back to Pikachu, nodding his head at what Ash said. "Yeah I guess you're right."
Once Ash said this, Pikachu sighed relief when he heard this, that was until Ash gave a big smile on his face and took hold of Pikachu's hand. "No problem, you won't end up that way because you'll win!" Ash said with a grin still on his face trying to get Pikachu to come with him while Pikachu was trying to hold onto the table he had been sitting on, not wanting to battle.
"Well, I know this is not going to end well," Sakura said as she whispered to her friends, who nodded at this.
"Don't be scared Pikachu," Ash cried out to his Pokémon, who still didn't like this idea shaking his head before deciding to use a Thundershock on Ash.
"The way they fight must mean they care a lot…." Misty said as the girl sighed as Misty was then looking at Ash and Pikachu and what was going on at that moment, making the orange-haired girl smile at the two.
The two ninjas just looked at Misty when she had said this and frowned at what she had said, and even Misty saw the look she was getting from them. "That may be so Misty but I still think that you and Ash fight far more," Naruto said as he gave the young redhead a look, while Sakura just laughed at this and noticed that they were still all dirty.
"Well, I think what we need to do first he have a bath as I stink," Misty said as she pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Yeah, I agree with you on that Misty sorry Ash I home you can wait after all, none of us can stink when we show up at the Gym," Sakura said as she looked over to Nurse Joy, hoping they had bathrooms here as well.
"Oh I can sure you where the bathrooms are," Nurse Joy said as she looked at them with a smile. "But the girls will need to go first."
Sakura, at that moment, looked over at Naruto as a chill went down Naruto's spine. "That means no Sexy Jutsu Naruto got it," Sakura said, cracking her knuckles at him, so he got the message.
"Oh I'm with Sakura on this one," Misty added as she soon showed the blonde her mallet of doom that Naruto likes to call.
"Okay, okay I won't use it," Naruto said with a grin and waved his hands in front of the two girls as he smiled at them, reassuring them he wouldn't do such a thing to them, as he watched the two leave to have their bath together. "But you two never said I could teach it to someone," Naruto thought with a grin on his face as he knew just who he was going to teach the Sexy Jutsu to before looking at Ash.
The doors opened up, a man wearing a black leather jacket and a woman wearing red was looking at the five young kids.
"I'm here to challenge the Gym Leader," Ash boldly stated with a smile and looked at Naruto and Sakura. "Same with my friends too right guys?" Ash asked as he looked at Naruto and Sakura, to which the two nodded.
"Hey Boss, more victims for the Emergency Room," the man said to a much bigger guy behind him.
"Which one?" the big guy asked very eagerly as he stepped forward out of the shadows; the man was bulky, had spiky yellow hair, and wore leather; he's unquestionably a tough one, and so are his Pokémon.
"Wow, he's huge!" Brock commented on what Ash was thinking.
"So he's the Gym Leader you have to beat," Misty was also astounded by just how big he was.
"Welcome to Vermillion gym!" Lt. Surge suddenly shouted in delight, which startled the group. He then bent down and gave Sakura and Misty tight hugs, which made them a little uncomfortable. "Oh, my next challengers are cute ones! Don't think I'll go easy on you two."
"Umm… I'm not here to battle," Misty said timidly. She was still intimidated by this guy.
Lt. Surge got a confused expression on his face as he looked at Misty. "Oh really, I'm sorry about that my mistake? Then who is it?" He asked, looking at the others that were in the room.
"Don't worry I'm here for a battle as is my friend Naruto here," Sakura said, and just like Misty, Sakura was intimidated by Lt. Surge. He was bigger than her, after all.
Naruto being who he was, wasn't afraid either as he was not going to be intimidated by the gym leader that was standing before him right now. "Same with me all three of us are here to battle you."
"I am as well," Ash declared as he and Pikachu stepped forward.
Lt. Surge then turned to Ash and smiled. "Oh you, okay then baby!" he said as he patted Ash on the head condescendingly.
Ash began to grit his teeth that this guy was treating him like a toddler. "I'm no baby!" he shouted as he brushed Lt. Surge's giant had away. "My name is Ash Ketchum!"
"I always call people who lose to me baby," Lt. Surge responded.
The group frowned upon hearing this. This man was a little too overconfident. "My Pokémon saved my life numerous times during the war. We can stand up to any challenger!" Lt. Surge declared.
"That's right. Nurse Joy mentioned he is a war hero," Ash remembered as she had told them that while Misty and Sakura were taking their baths.
Lt. Surge then saw Pikachu, who was standing next to Ash, and smirked. "Is that the Pokémon you're going to use?" He asked.
"Yeah that's right!" Ash replied.
Lt. Surge then smirked and turned to his two subordinates. "Hey! Look at this! Baby brought along a baby Pokémon!" All three of them laughed arrogantly.
"Hey what gives why are you making fun of my Pikachu?!" Ash demanded as he and Pikachu glared at Lt. Surge.
"Oh, I'll show you why," Lt. Surge said as he withdrew a Poké Ball from his belt and threw it forward. "Go Poké Ball!"
The ball landed on the floor and opened up to reveal the Pokémon inside. Ash, Pikachu, and the rest were surprised at the Pokémon that had come out.
It was a Raichu.
"It's a Raichu," Ash muttered as he and Naruto pulled out their Pokédex's to scan it.
The boy took out his Pokédex and scanned the larger electric mouse. "Raichu, the Electric Mouse Pokémon. Raichu is the final evolve form of Pikachu, it can shock with more than 100,000 volts, enough to render a Dragonite unconscious."
"Well, baby if you want to quit now's your last chance," Lt. Surge said, looking over to both Ash and Pikachu.
"There's no way we're gonna quit now!" Ash snarled.
"Heh you see!" Surge said, laughing arrogantly. "What could a baby like that do?" He smirked knowingly. "If you wanna become a Pokémon Master, you should make your Pokémon evolve as soon as you catch it."
"There's more to raising a Pokémon then forcing it to evolve, and besides I like Pikachu just the way he is," Ash said as he patted Pikachu on the head while the two behind Surge laughed at this.
"In that case, let's put your theory to the test. You'll learn playing with the big boys can be a shocking experience," Lt. Surge smirked. He then clapped his hands as the lights to the Gym finally turned on.
Sakura looked at Brock with a concerned look on her face. "Can Pikachu even win this?" She asked, worried for both Ash and Pikachu right now.
However, Brock frowned at this as he looked at Naruto and Sakura, knowing that they would face Raichu. "I seriously doubt it not if Raichu knows all the electric attacks."
Before Ash could respond, Pikachu stepped forward and glared at the Raichu in front of it, not wanting to back down. "You still want to battle Pikachu?" Ash asked it, to which Pikachu nodded.
"In that case, I'm sticking with Pikachu," Ash declared. "My Pikachu has the strength of any Raichu, and we aren't afraid of it!"
"Wow Pikachu really wants to battle even after what he saw back at the Pokémon center," Naruto said but smiled as well with Pikachu's not wanting to back down from this battle.
"I'm not all that surprised," Misty said, knowing what it was like to get mocked all too well.
"Oh well guess that you will have to learn the hard way then won't you," He then clapped his hands as the lights to the Gym finally turned on.
"The Pokémon battle will now begin," the announcer declared. "Only one Pokémon may be used on both sides. The Gym Leader, Lieutenant Surge, has chosen Raichu. The challenger, Ash, has chosen Pikachu. No time limit. Let the battle begin."
"Go, Raichu!" Surge called out.
'I think it's time to show you how weak you really are!' Raichu cried out, dashing onward into the arena.
"Go, Pikachu!" Ash responded in kind, pointing his finger forward.
'Yeah right I will not lose to you and show you just what I can do!' Pikachu said as it sped into the ring like Raichu.
"Pikachu, Thundershock!" Ash commanded, going all out and hoping for the quick knockout.
The little rodent screamed like the vengeful cry of a fierce deity come to Earth to exact retribution. Dozens of yellow electrical tendrils lashed out at the incoming Raichu, and as it zoomed closer, it shook its head, clearly uncomfortable.
"Ha, I'm impressed!" Surge commented. "You actually made Raichu flinch!" His smirk didn't fade from his face; however, a foreboding sign. "Now, it's our turn! Raichu, show them what a real Thundershock attack is like!"
The bigger Electric-type roared, sending much more powerful and far greater waves of electricity slamming directly into poor Pikachu!
Pikachu screamed in utter agony as the jolts of electricity arced across its body, and Pikachu fell like a stone to the floor.
Raichu landed on the opposite side of the ring, looking slightly winded but otherwise perfectly fine!
"It's over baby, you didn't really think that your Pikachu could beat my Raichu did you?" Surge asked as he looked over to Ash.
However, Ash was worried about Pikachu as he looked over to where his Pokémon had fallen. "Pikachu..." Ash said as sweat ran down the sides of his head, now concerned for his Pokémon.
"Ash, call back Pikachu!" Brock suddenly yelled from behind Ash. "Raichu's shocks are way to powerful! This is a mismatch!"
"Brock's right Ash, Raichu is way too strong!" Sakura agreed with this seeing the pain that Pikachu was in
"I know it hurts, Ash, but they're right! We need to think of a strategy and try again later! I don't want to see Pikachu anymore injured than it already is!" Misty cried.
Even Naruto saw this, even if he never wanted to give up, this was a life on the line, and he had already seen the many other Pokémon that this Raichu had hurt, and he had no idea how he and Sakura were going to beat Surge. "There right we need a plan I don't think me or Sakura would stand a chance with this guy!"
Ash grimaced. Even Misty didn't think he and Pikachu stood a chance against Lt. Surge. Maybe they were right. "Pikachu," Ash sighed. "Let's forfeit. We can come back anytime."
To his and everyone else's surprise, Pikachu got up and shook its head. It still wanted to battle. It was not going to lose to Raichu that easily. "Pikachu doesn't want to stop. This is bad," Brock commented.
"Your Pikachu is pretty gutsy for a toy," Lt. Surge chuckled as Pikachu ran forward towards the Raichu again.
"No, Pikachu! Come back!" Ash yelled, but it fell on deaf ears.
"Play time is over! Raichu! Mega Punch!" Lt. Surge called.
Raichu reared back its fist and punched Pikachu right in the face before Pikachu could land a hit. "Now follow up with a Mega Kick!" Lt. Surge followed up.
Raichu then brought its foot back and rammed it into Pikachu, sending it sprawling backward onto the floor.
"NO Pikachu!" Ash called out worriedly.
"Now give us the grand finale, Raichu use Thunderbolt!" Lt. Surge ordered Raichu then sent out a tremendous amount of electricity, which zapped Pikachu head-on.
Ash and the rest of the group could only look on in horror as Pikachu screamed in pain before the electric attack finally stopped. It then fell over and didn't get back up.
Later that same day, Ash and the other rushed back to the Pokémon center with Pikachu right now resting on a bed with bandages on his head; slowly, Pikachu began to open his eyes and saw that he was in the Pokémon center.
Ash just smiled as he saw this happy that Pikachu was awake now. "Pikachu I'm glad that you're okay," Pikachu, however, turned away with an upset expression on his face.
"Pikachu got hurt pretty badly," Brock told him.
"I can see that." Ash said as he gave a slight frown and looked at Brock.
"No. I mean its spirit was hurt. Pikachu was totally overpowered by that Raichu," Brock corrected.
Misty put her hand on Ash's shoulder to comfort him, but Ash didn't and couldn't pay attention to it. "There has to be some way to beat that Raichu," Ash said.
"There might be a way," a voice suddenly spoke up; the group turned in surprise to find Nurse Joy there. "I'm sorry," She apologized, "But I overheard your conversation and thought that maybe you can use this."
She then held out a shiny bluish-gray stone with a lightning bolt in the middle of it. "It's a Thunderstone," Ash mumbled. "I could evolve Pikachu into a Raichu with this."
This bit of information hit Pikachu's ears, and it sat up to look curiously. "If I evolve Pikachu with this, it might be strong enough to win," Ash mumbled to himself.
"You have to think hard before using the Thunderstone," Nurse Joy said solemnly.
"That's right," Misty agreed. "If you make Pikachu evolve, you can't change it back."
"Pikachu will never be the same," Brock added.
Ash took the Thunderstone and gave it an extensive look. "If I use this Thunderstone to evolve Pikachu, it might be strong enough to win. On the other hand, if I make it evolve just to fight, I would be just like Surge."
Ash then turned towards his rodent partner. "Pikachu, what do you want to do?" he asked it.
'What do you mean Ash?' Pikachu questioned while looking at the Thunderstone.
"I really want to beat Lt. Surge, but I also don't want to force you to evolve if you'd be happier staying the way you are now," Ash told it.
Pikachu appeared to be deep in thought as it looked at Thunderstone. Everyone in the room was watching it, awaiting its decision. Pikachu then got up on its own two feet and walked closer to the Thunderstone in Ash's hands.
"Pikachu what do you want to do?" Ash questioned. It looked like Pikachu was about to accept the Thunderstone's power.
Suddenly, Pikachu swung its tail around and knocked the Thunderstone away, surprising everyone except Paul, who frowned. Pikachu then began to go on a rant. Despite not understanding what Pikachu was saying, Ash got the idea of it.
"You're saying if you're going to beat Raichu, you'll do it just as you are?" Ash asked, to which Pikachu nodded.
Ash then took Pikachu's hands in his own and got a determined expression on his face. "Pikachu, together you and I will defeat Lt. Surge and his Raichu!" he stated, to which Pikachu nodded. "I have faith in you. We're going to win for sure."
"Ash, are you sure you want to use Pikachu?" Naruto asked.
"It's hard, but it's not impossible. Pikachu and I will find a way to win!" Ash stated.
"Pikachu!" the yellow rodent nodded.
"Exactly, there has to be something you have that Raichu doesn't," Ash agreed. "Now we just need to find out what it is. Never give up until the end!"
"Pikachu!" it nodded again. It then got a tired look on its face as it sat down on the bed.
"I guess you still need a little rest, huh, buddy?" Ash asked.
'Yeah I do,' Pikachu replied in the affirmative.
"Ash and Pikachu have such an amazing friendship. He trusts it so much that he's willing to go up against Lt. Surge again with it. Their determination is incredible. I guess his endurance is just one of the many things I like about him," Misty thought with a smile on her face.
Brock crossed his arms and appeared to be in thought. "Hey, Ash," he spoke up.
"What's up, Brock?" Ash asked.
"Lt. Surge said he made Raichu evolve as soon as he got it, didn't he?" Brock inquired.
"Yeah, that's right," Ash replied as he looked at Brock, wondering what his plan was right now.
"Then perhaps there is a way to win," Brock smiled.
With Pikachu healed up and a plan formed thanks to Brock, Ash and the others all headed back to Surge's Gym knowing that they had a plan now in berating him thanks to a flaw that even the Gym leader had no idea about his Pokemon.
"Pikachu our lucky star is shining today," Ash cried out with a smile while Pikachu just looked on, confused by what Ash was saying.
Misty, however, came up to Ash as she began to look for what Ash was saying. "Where I don't see it? How can you even see a star in the middle of the day anyway?" She asked with a little tease as she looked at Ash with a smile on her face.
"I don't mean I see a star Mist I'm just saying we may get lucky with a win," Ash said while Misty just gave a grin as she looked at Ash with a smile on her face.
That was until they heard Naruto laughing as both looked at the young ninja. "What's so funny Naruto?" Misty asked as she tilted her head at this.
"Oh just the nickname that Ash gave you is all," Naruto said with a big grin face and looked at the two young trainers he was friends with, still smiling.
Hearing this made the red-haired girl give a small sigh, feeling there are things she'll never understand concerning the two boys and soon saw Ash and Pikachu making their way towards the Vermillion City Gym while Brock approached her. "Seems like they're ready to win doesn't it?" he asked the Tomboyish Mermaid with a somewhat intrigued expression.
"Yeah, though you did say that Surge's Raichu is powerful but has its own share of flaws that Pikachu could use to his advantage."
Nodding his head, Brock knew Misty made a good point in reminding him of the notion. Then without another word, the group followed Ash and Pikachu towards the Vermillion City Gym in hopes that the two would win the rematch with the new knowledge in mind.
However, they were then soon approached by two black-clothed people who seemed very familiar to them, plus there's also a small cat-like Pokémon dressed in the same black clothing. "Not those three again," Ash thought to himself as he knew it was the same three thieves that have been chasing him and the others, notably as the Meowth and the hair-styles the two human criminals had were a dead giveaway though it's best to play dumb for now. "Who are you guys?"
That's what I would like to know?" Naruto asked as he knew the trio was up to something but what. But he knew that it was best to wait and see what they would do. After all, he and Sakura both knew they were harmless.
"To protect the world from devastation!"
However, the disguised Scratch Cat angrily whacked his partners in crime on the back of the head using what appeared to be a fan as they were already moments away from blowing their cover by announcing their motto. "Ixnay!" he declared with a scowl on his face.
"We forgot!"
Landing back on his feet, Meowth cleared his throat before deciding to explain who he and his disguised comrades were trying to be. "We're the challenger's cheerleaders and we're here to show our support for the brave Pikachu and Ash!" he announced, which surprised Ash and his friends at the fact the three weren't using this as a chance to steal Pikachu but instead supported him and his trainer for the rematch. "In honour of the great Pikachu's bravery, we wish to offer a cheer!"
Soon the trio began performing a strange cheer, with the three showing their support in a somewhat very odd and unusual while Ash and his friends sweat-dropped, watching this dance. At least it was a change in the usual routine they've been used to and hopefully would help for the upcoming matchup. "Hip! Hip! Hooray!" he concluded the cheer routine, still holding onto the two fans in his paws, each having the Team Rocket symbol on them. "Okay let's split."
With that, the trio took their leave, James holding the flag with the same symbol that Meowth's fans had with Ash and his friends still at a slight loss of words at seeing the Team Rocket trio now literally cheering Ash and Pikachu on yet wondered what their motives were at first. "That was really disturbing…" muttered Brock, unsure of what to make of the weird cheer.
Sakura nodded at this as she wondered why they did this, knowing this was something she would remember for the rest of her life. "Yeah I feel the same Brock this I know will forever haunt my dreams."
"Thanks for your support!" Misty called out to the trio, but not before revealing that the group knew who they were. "Bye Team Rocket!"
This response caused Jessie's and James' respective hats and sunglasses to come off, with the two humans being shocked at the fact they were exposed even when they weren't attempting to steal the group's Pokémon. "How did they know it was us?" asked Meowth in disbelief.
"Lucky guess!" answered Jessie with a slight scowl on her face, though it was maybe best that they keep running for now.
"Do they really think we are that stupid, I mean I know I'm not that bright but come on?" Naruto said with a sigh as he looked at the others.
Although Ash was slightly impressed by the cheer routine that Jessie, James, and Meowth did, his face immediately turned severe because he had a Pokemon battle to win, and he wanted to prove to Lt. Surge that he'll handle Raichu with just Pikachu by his side.
The lights on the Vermillion City Gym ceiling lit up as Ash and Pikachu were ready to confront Lt. Surge and his Raichu to win the rematch of the century. "Hey, Baby! You ready to take another beating?" Surge asked Ash, feeling that the younger man didn't learn his lesson the first time he challenged the Lightning American and a grin formed the moment the Gym Leader noticed that Pikachu hadn't changed at all. "You didn't even make your Pikachu evolve, you haven't learned anything yet."
"Don't' be so sure, Surge!" snapped Ash, determined to show he and Pikachu have learned from the first time with a new plan they had in mind.
"Okay, well let's see!"
"The Challenger, Ash using a Pikachu. The Gym Leader, Lt. Surge… using a Raichu…" began the announcer, declaring the rules of Ash's battle for the second time. Ash hopes to win the rematch if he and Pikachu play their cards right while his friends watch at the sidelines and the trio secretly watches the battle from the window outside the Gym. "The Pokémon will battle one-on-one with no time limit! Let the battle begin!"
The bell rang, and Ash decided to make the first move much as he did in his first battle with the Lightning American. "Use the strategy we planned, Pikachu! You can do it!" he declared as Pikachu was quick to follow through in what he and his trainer planned out, with Lt. Surge grinning at the attempt to hurt his Raichu.
"A strategy… Maybe planning a new way to lose… go, Raichu!" he ordered his evolved Mouse Pokémon. It immediately swatted Pikachu away with his tail, sending his pre-evolved form flying back, much to Ash's shock, but Surge wasn't close to finished just yet as his Pokémon began hitting the opposing mouse on the back to keep him pinned down.
"Pikachu!"
"Hang in there, Pikachu…" began Misty, showing her concern for the male Electric-Type, and Brock shared those same feelings.
"We know that you can do it!" Naruto yelled with a cheer of his own to the yellow mouse Pokémon.
"Move to the side and break away!" the Rock Solid Pokémon Trainer told him; even Jessie, James, and Meowth were once again at a loss of words since Raichu was now beating Pikachu for the second time.
"It can't lose!"
"Not after the cheer we did!"
"Maybe we did the wrong kind of cheer!"
Surge felt that he's finished playing around, now was the time to deal a critical blow onto Ash's Pokémon. "Do it, Raichu! Give it the Body Slam!" he ordered, and Raichu jumped belly first onto Pikachu's back to deal even more damage than ever, causing the male pre-evolved Mouse to cry out in pain, which horrified Ash and his friends. "Finish it off, Raichu! With another Body Slam!"
Complying with the order, Raichu jumped belly-first at Pikachu and was determined to deliver his commander's second win in a row. Everyone watched as the evolved Mouse Pokémon was nearing his target when Ash acted quickly. "Pikachu, watch out!" he cried, causing Pikachu's ears to hear his voice and allowing the Electric-Type to avoid his evolved form's attack.
"What the?!" exclaimed Surge as he saw Pikachu managing to dodge his Pokémon's attack just when it was about to finish the battle swiftly.
Jessie, James, and Meowth were relieved that Pikachu got himself out of the way on time with Raichu's Body Slam hitting the ground below. "Alright!" they all said in unison, watching as Ash was preparing to make his comeback in the rematch.
"Do it, Pikachu!" began Ash, knowing what his next move was going to be and wanted to see if Lt. Surge's Raichu would be able to catch up to his buddy. "Agility now!"
Pikachu ran up towards Raichu, his speed increasing as he started to toy with his evolved form, much to Surge's further dismay. "Raichu, use your Body Slam!" the Lightning American ordered. Yet, no matter how many times Raichu tried, he just couldn't hit the yellow mouse at all, proving that even un-evolved Pokémon can handle themselves against evolved ones with the right strategy. "Uh, Raichu?"
"It's working!" said Misty, glad that Ash was using his head and remembering what Brock mentioned about Raichu having flaws despite Surge having evolved his Pokémon immediately after getting it. "Just like Brock said!"
Nodding his head, Brock smiled with confidence that Ash would maybe win, provided they don't screw this up. "Right, Raichu evolved too fast and it never learned the speed attacks it could only learn in its pre-evolved stage," he stated, knowing as a result… pure strength alone wouldn't be enough to win against opponents faster than them.
"Okay, use all the Agility you've got!" commanded Ash as Pikachu further increased his speed to keep Raichu from hitting him, and he started to run around in a circle, which caused Raichu to become somewhat dizzy from just watching him do so. "Your Raichu's way too slow, Surge! That's his weakness!"
"Crap!" muttered Surge, mentally cursing that he might honestly lose to a Trainer with an un-evolved Pokémon, and that's something he simply cannot allow to happen. "Okay, Raichu… give it a Thunderbolt! Shut it down!"
A look of determination formed on Raichu's face, and he began striking the entire battlefield with a Thunderbolt, the attack that defeated Pikachu the first time they battled, causing Ash and his friends to be in disbelief while the glass windows shattered. Fortunately, it missed Jessie, James, and Meowth as they ducked down to avoid getting zapped. Soon enough, the smoke had formed throughout the entire battlefield. Then Surge saw that it seemed he won again. "The end of the match!" he declared with a look of triumph, only to realize that Pikachu managed to save himself by standing on his tail and having his back against the wall.
"Alright, way to go!" said Brock as he and the others were relieved Pikachu was alright. Notably shows that even he learned his lesson not to be struck by an evolved Pokémon's Thunderbolt attack, so he came prepared, knowing it could get used against him again. "He used his tail as a ground and dodged the electric shock."
Jessie couldn't believe what she was seeing, a sign that Pikachu was more resourceful than she and her partners originally had imagined he'd be. "What a shocking story!" she said while James had his Koffing right in front of him.
"That was quite a tail…." he added; both were impressed that Pikachu was able to save himself from Raichu's Thunderbolt though Meowth didn't find it to be that funny. He whipped them on the head this time with his paws tightened into fists while Koffing stayed floating in the air, and both humans had pink bumps swelling on their heads.
"And now you've both been… pun-ished! Hahaha!"
Surge gritted his teeth out of anger; he believed he could still win if he and Raichu could press on with another more powerful attack. "Raichu, give it another Thunderbolt!" Surge ordered, which his Pokémon tried to do so only to find out he was so exhausted that he was out of power after giving it everything he got with that previous Thunderbolt attack. "Do something!"
"It's over, Raichu ran out of electricity."
Ash smiled, knowing it was time for them to put an end to the match with style. "Alright!" he said, glad to hear Brock revealing that notion and best show Surge how to win without relying only on massive firepower against his opponents. "Quick Attack!"
"Raichu, Take Down now!" Surge countered, and Raichu looked ready to strike Pikachu down the moment he got close enough. However, the un-evolved Mouse Pokémon's speed proved to be much more superior as he scored a direct hit on his evolved form's chest. Pikachu then his tail started sparking with electricity before he struck it right in Raichu's face, effectively bringing his opponent down once and for all, much to Surge's horror. "Unbelievable!"
"We did it Pikachu!"
"Way to go!"
"Fantastic!"
As Ash and his friends cheered at the raven-haired young man's victory, the Team Rocket trio was also happy to see Pikachu coming up on top against his evolved form. "Horay!" Jessie and James declared with smiles forming on their faces.
"Victory!" added Meowth, he too seemed to be very proud of Pikachu, and the exhausted Mouse Pokémon was glad to have defeated Raichu, forming a smile of his own.
"Well done Ash you did it," Misty said as she looked at Ash with a smile on her face, happy that he got the badge he needed. "So then which one of you will be going next then?" Misty asked as she looked at the two ninjas with a smile on her face.
Both Naruto and Sakura looked at each other as they nodded and soon looked at their Pokémon, trying to work out what they should use for this battle but knew they could do this. "You bet we are!" Naruto cried out with a grin now on his face.
Sakura nodded at this as she looked at her Pokémon as well, knowing that they needed to be smart on this as she looked over the Pokémon she had on her, which was just three. "Okay then Pidgey will be hurt if I send her out and Oddish still needs some training so that leaves Butterfree then," Sakura thought with a smile on her face knowing what to do.
Naruto was doing the same he, too, knew that three of his Pokémon would not stand a chance, which just left two that would stand a chance to Surge were Eevee and Beedrill. "Okay I think I know who I'm going to use as well."
Sakura looked over to Naruto and nodded as she stepped forward. "Okay then, ladies first then," She said but was still worried a little for her Pokémon and that Butterfree could get hurt.
Ash looked at the young girl and placed a hand on Sakura's should as he smiled at her, knowing that she would do all right. Even Naruto looked at her and smiled at her as well, knowing that she had this.
Surge also smiled as he nodded his head and then grabbed a Poké Ball and looked over to Sakura. "Okay I'm ready when you are," He said, sending out one of his other Electric-Types. "Go Voltorb!"
Coming out of the Poké Ball was some kind of spherical Pokémon that looked like a Poké Ball with a face, minus the button; the Top half was red, while the bottom half was white. 'Voltorb, reporting for duty sir!' declared the newly released Pokémon with a determined look on its face as it wanted to avenge Raichu's defeat by taking down the pinkette in battle.
Lt. Surge noticed the confused expressions Ash and his friends gave him, though it couldn't be all that helped. "What, you looked like you've never seen an un-evolved Electric-Type before!" he responded, and then his face started to harden as memories of when he was at war quickly flashed before his very eyes. "All my Electric-Type Pokémon saved me during the war by zapping my opponents into paralysis and my Voltorb will be doing the same for you, so make your choice!"
"Okay, I will!" yelled Sakura, sending out her chosen Pokémon, and she was determined to knock Surge down a notch like Ash and Pikachu did when they battled against his strongest Pokémon earlier. Plus, Sakura knew that Lt. Surge was going to reveal his hidden surprises. "Go, Butterfree!"
Soon after coming out of her Poké Ball, a familiar female Bug/Flying-type let out a breathtaking noise as she was about ready to face her opponent, making Ash and his friends worried. "You gotta be kidding, you're using a Bug/Flying-Type against my Voltorb?" asked Surge, somewhat amused at the fact his female opponent was going with a Pokémon that had a massive disadvantage to his Voltorb. "You of all people should know that Flying-Types are weak to Electric-Types and you just made a fatal mistake by sending Butterfree."
"A fatal mistake, huh?" wondered Sakura with a stern look on her face, especially as she too had her share of hidden surprises to use when the time came and wanted to make sure she dealt maybe some significant damage. "If you think it's such a mistake, then prove it!"
"Oh I will and soon, you'll regret having challenged me with your Butterfree!" declared Surge, moments before the referee announced the rules of the Gym Match, and the others watched as the bell rang, signifying the start of the battle. "Voltorb, use Thunderbolt!"
Voltorb's entire body started to spark, and it unleashed the same devastating attack that Raichu unleashed, but Sakura just smiled. "Dodge it, Butterfree!" she commanded, her Bug/Flying-type managed to evade the powerful blast of electricity very gracefully. "Now use your Tackle attack!"
'On it!' smiled Sakura's Butterfree, managing to strike Voltorb with her powerful Tackle. Still, it wasn't enough to take down the powerful Electric-type Pokémon, but then again, the two have been through tight spots before, and this was no exception. 'What was that your boss was saying about me being used was a fatal mistake?'
"You think that would be enough to save you?" Surge responded with a scowl on his face, not wanting to make the same mistake twice, and gave Voltorb his next order. "Okay Voltorb, use Sonic Boom attack now!"
Voltorb responded in kind by spinning around fast, causing a shockwave to strike Sakura's Butterfree before she could react with the others shocked to see the Lightning American's Pokémon able to know an attack like that. "Butterfree, use Confusion!" said the pinkette, causing her Butterfree to reveal her surprise… her eyes glowed bright blue, and she fired a blast of psychic energy at her opponent, which caught Surge by surprise. "Sorry, but my Butterfree isn't just limited to Tackle…."
"Yeah go Sakura chan you can do it!" Naruto yelled with a grin on his face watching the battle that Sakura was having and knowing that she could do it.
Sakura just gave a light blush at this and nodded as she knew that she needed to end this battle, and soon. "Alright then Butterfree time to use your Sleep Powder on Voltorb."
'I'm on it Sakura,' Butterfree said as she soon went over and used the Sleep Powder on Voltorb, who was quickly put to sleep and left for another attack.
"Okay then Butterfree time to use Gust." Sakura said as she smiled once again at this know that this battle was going her way.
Butterfree nodded as she did what Sakura told her to and soon used Gust on the Voltorb, blowing the electric ball Pokémon away. While Sakura kept an eye on the Pokémon, knowing that she needed to be ready just in case.
"Come on Sakura you can do it girl power!" Misty yelled from where she was standing, pumping her fist into the air while smiling at her friend.
Sakura nodded as she was going to make sure she won this. "All I need to do is wait to see how Voltorb," She thought as her gaze looked over to the Pokémon in question and saw that it hadn't yet moved.
The referee looked at Voltorb and knew that it was no longer able to battle. "Voltorb is no longer able to battle the victor is Sakura Haruno," He said as Sakura gave a big smile on her face as she hugged her Butterfree.
"You did it Butterfree I'm so proud of you," Sakura said with joy at what her Pokémon had done.
'I'm just happy that I just won for your Sakura, after all you have made me strong,' Butterfree said as she gave a happy chirp to her trainer and friend.
Naruto merely gave a smile at this as he knew it was now his turn, and he knew that just with Ash and Sakura, he was going to win; he was quite thankful Eevee knew speed moves, so this would give him an edge that Naruto knew that he would need.
Surge, meanwhile, called back his Voltorb and looked at the last one that would battle him, and he knew that he now needed to watch what he was doing. "Okay then kid you're up let's see what you got then?" he asked with a massive smile on his face knowing that he knew just the Pokémon that could work in this battle.
Naruto nodded and grinned towards Surge as he grabbed Eevee's Poké Ball and started to grin more. "Oh I am as I never give up, so I hope that you're ready as your about to get owned."
"Good to hear kid but I wouldn't get overconfident if I were you I learned that mistake with your friend the hard way, and I wouldn't want you to learn it if you keep this up," Surge said, knowing that arrogance was always a bad thing for a new trainer.
"Well then I'll be sure to keep that in mind won't I?" Naruto said as he still had a smile on his face as he looked at the Poké Ball in his hand and soon tossed it into the air. "Okay then Eevee come on out."
'Alright let's do this!' Eevee cried out with a smile and was ready to do battle but knew this was going to be a hard battle and would be careful as well.
"Alright then kid one on one just like with your two friends you ready?" Surge asked as he looked over to Naruto, who simply nodded his head at the Gym leader. "Okay then kid let's see if you're as good as your two friends are."
"You better believe it!" declared Naruto with his signature grin, deciding to make use of his Eevee to see how the Normal-Type would fare in a battle against the Lightning American. "Let's show him what we're made of, Eevee!"
Eevee came out of his Poké Ball, showing the same determination that his trainer had, making made Surge frown since two of his best Electric-Types had fallen against two of his opponents. That now left him with one Pokémon left in his possession. "Alright then, in that case let's go, Pikachu!" he declared, sending out his last Pokémon, which happened to be a male Pikachu like Ash's.
"What the?!" muttered Ash, shocked along with the others at the fact Surge had another Pikachu on his team other than the Raichu Lt. Surge had previously used against the younger man's Pikachu at least twice beforehand shocked everyone. "He has another Pikachu… I thought…."
"Yeah, that's what I thought too, but even I can be wrong…" answered Brock with a frown on his face; never had he seen for himself that there would be someone possessing both a Pikachu and a Raichu on their team though this was a first. "Hopefully, Naruto will know what he's doing by sending Eevee to face his opponent.
"Me too Naruto…" added Misty, frowning as well as once again the rules are declared as they were twice before, and the bell rang, signaling for the battle to begin.
"Alright, Pikachu… give them a Quick Attack!"
"You too, Eevee!"
Both Pokémon complied with their Trainers' commands. Both used increased speed to strike each other simultaneously, surprising everyone except Surge and his fellow soldiers at how strong the Lightning American's Pikachu was. However, his personality was similar to his evolved form and Voltorb's. "Not bad, kid… but that won't be enough to save you; use your Thunderbolt!" he ordered with a grin on his face.
"Eevee, counter with Double Team!" countered Naruto; his Eevee managed to make illusionary duplicates of himself and barely evaded the Thunderbolt, which had only managed to phase through one of the copies before it immediately vanished. "Now, use Tackle!"
Eevee chirped, scoring a direct hit with his Tackle attack, and although it was a minor hit, it was enough to push Surge's Pikachu back a bit. Even Ash's Pikachu was somewhat annoyed like Ash was since Surge himself mocked them for not making him evolve yet had a Pikachu on his team alongside Raichu and Voltorb, making himself out to look like a hypocrite. "Use Thunder Wave!" ordered Surge, not wanting to let Naruto get the satisfaction of defeating him without taking damage and his Pikachu let out a powerful jolt of electricity that struck Eevee where he stood.
Although no damage seemed to happen to the Normal-Type Evolution Pokémon, the shock did leave its toll on his body as he found himself struggling to move. "What the?!" exclaimed Naruto in shock; even Ash and his friends were surprised at seeing what Surge's Pikachu had just done.
"How do you like that? While Thunder Wave doesn't damage opposing Pokémon in battle, it does have the effect of paralyzing them in combat!" commented Surge; he and his Pikachu were grinning as they now had the complete advantage over Eevee. "I wasn't lying when I said my enemies were zapped into submission and now it's time we show you our power, Pikachu use Thunderbolt again!"
Surge's Pikachu nodded as he gave a smile and fired another Thunderbolt at Eevee. "On no, Eevee, try to get away!" Naruto cried out at what was going on."
However, Eevee could not get out of the way as the attack hit dead on the Pokémon, sending Eevee flying backward and crashing to the ground. All Naruto could do was watch helplessly as this happened; after all, Naruto knew that there was not a lot he could to and he and Sakura had learned a lot after coming to this world, but he knew Surge would not kill his Pokémon.
Yet, he was still worried about Eevee's safety as he had already seen what Surge and not only done to Pikachu but the other trainer's Pokémon as well. Everyone knew for sure that this guy was tough, but there was no way that he was going to give up.
"Come on Naruto we know you can do it!" Misty cried out to her friend, knowing Naruto would work something out.
Naruto just growled as he looked over to Eevee and saw that he was in pain as Naruto could see the attack do its work as Eevee had a hard time moving, and electricity was sparking around his body. "Damn this is not good, if this guy is right that means Eevee won't be able to move."
Brock was also looking at the battle that was going on and knew that Surge had a slight advantage now that Naruto's Eevee was. "This is bad with Eevee unable to move Naruto is going to need to come up with a plan and fast."
"Don't worry I know that Naruto will come up with a plan to beat Surge." Sakura said she looked at her friends with a smile on her face and then looked back to where Naruto was still doing battle with Surge.
Naruto heard this and knew that she was right; he was not going to lose nor will he give up; after all, he had faith that his Eevee could win, and Naruto knew that he needed to help his Pokémon get much more powerful as well after all the Pokémon that had beat him was still out there. And he knew that he and Sakura wanted to get more powerful and help their friends get stronger if this thing would show up again.
"Come on Eevee I know that you can do this," Naruto cried as he watched Eevee get up to his feet, looked at Naruto, and smiled at his training, making Naruto smile and see this happen. "That's it Eevee never give up."
Eevee nodded at this once again as he knew he would not let this Pikachu beat him. 'Your right Naruto I know I can win,' Eevee said with a smile waiting for Naruto to give him an order.
"Okay then, Eevee use Sand Attack!" Naruto cried out while Eevee nodded at this as he soon began to use the attack, which hit Pikachu dead on and caused Naruto to smile that Eevee was doing alright.
On the other hand, Surge's Pikachu now had sand in his eyes as he tried to see where Pikachu was. "Okay then kid I will admit that was a good move but don't count me out just yet," Surge said as he looked over to where Naruto was.
Naruto simply nodded and knew that Surge was right he hadn't won yet after all. "This is so different then fighting some in a battle," Naruto thought as he thought back to when he had fought Neji and Gaara while they were deadly, and he could have died; this was different altogether and fun as well. "Well I am unpredictable after all, Eevee use Tackle!" Naruto said, hoping that Eevee could move.
Eevee, hearing this nodded and knowing that he has now become paralyzed thanks to the Thunder Wave from Surge's Pikachu; this would not stop him as he would win for his trainer. The small fox-like Pokémon dashed towards Surge's Pikachu, bashing into it with its Tackle sending Pikachu backward from the attack.
Naruto smiled at this, knowing he might just have a chance, but Naruto knows that Lt. Surge was not close to finished yet, as he was already using another attack on the Eevee that he and Pikachu were doing battle with right now. "Okay Eevee lets end this quickly okay," Naruto said as Eevee nodded and knew that Naruto was right.
Eevee nodded and quickly used his Tackle attack once again, knocking Surge's Pikachu to the ground. Only this time, the yellow mouse was not getting up. "Pikachu in unable to battle the winner is Naruto and Eevee." The referee said as Naruto and the others heard this, and all gave a smile hearing this.
Surge, however, looked at the three and smiled at them. "Well I got to admit you three are very good, here you have all earned the Thunder badge," Surge said as he handed the badge to the three, which caused them all to smile.
"Alright we did it!" Ash cried out with a grin on his face as he looked to Pikachu, knowing this was all thanks to him.
"I know I almost thought that we wouldn't but our Pokémon showed us we should never doubt them," Sakura said as she too smiled and looked at the badge she was holding in her hands.
Surge nodded as he continued to smile at the two ninjas, knowing it was a good battle that all three had done with him. "I just hope that we can battle again someday," Surge said, looking at all three trainers.
"Oh we will that's for sure," Naruto said with a grin as he returned Eevee to his Pokéball so that he could get a well-earned rest for the great battle that he had done.
With that said, the group of five knew that it was time to head back to the Pokémon center as it had been a long day after all, and Brock was going to make them all a meal for the wins they got today.
"Sakura I think that maybe it's time we teach them what we know," Naruto said with a whisper as he looked at the three, who were ahead right now.
Sakura nodded, knowing Naruto was right on this as it could help them. "Your right after what happened with that Pokémon its best we teach them what we know," Sakura said as she also remembered what Arceus had said to them what Ash would do.
With a nod from the two ninjas, they both ran over to their friends. "Hey Sakura and I were both thinking that we could train you."
Ash and Misty just looked at their ninja friends and smiled; it was something the two had said before, but they knew after the incident a while back they needed to train the two. "I'll be teaching Ash all I know," Naruto said with a grin on his face.
Both Misty and Sakura looked at Naruto, knowing that he was planning something but right now, as both girls looked at each other but knew that it could just be them overthinking it. "Well then I'll help Sakura, I mean me and Naruto may not know a lot but we can help with what we do know."
"Hey that's alright Sakura you just do your best okay," Misty told her and gave Sakura a reassuring smile.
It wasn't long before Naruto was with Ash, already wanting to pull his prank from early that day. "Oh this is going to be so much fun," Naruto thought as he looked at Ash as it was just them right now with Brock off making them the food, and he was unsure where Misty and Sakura were.
However, Ash looked at Naruto, already wondering what cool stuff he was going to learn. "So then Naruto, what am I going to learn?" Ash asked with a grin.
"Oh let's just say it's one of my favourites Ash," Naruto answered with a massive grin on his face, his eyes not leaving Ash. "Okay just do what I do okay."
Ash nodded as he looked at what Naruto was doing and formed a hand sign that Naruto was doing, and all Naruto could do was smile. "This should be good, I mean Ash does have a power in side him."
Once Ash did this, a puff of white smoke surrounded Ash's body, with Naruto wondering just what Ash would look like in this form. But another thing on his mind was how he would take it. After all, Ash seemed like he didn't know girls all that well. "And people say I'm stupid."
Soon the smoke caused Ash to cough as he too wondered what was going on. "Naruto what is this, wait what's going on with my voice?"
However, Naruto just had a grin on his face as he knew that it worked and was doing all that he could so that he didn't laugh that hard or make the others know either. Soon the smoke was gone, and standing there was a female wearing Ash's clothes. "Wow looks like it worked."
"What are you talking about and what's wrong with my voice?" Ash said as he looked at Naruto, but all the blonde ninja could do was smile as Naruto pointed to a nearby mirror.
Ash just looked at Naruto, wondering what he was on about, and headed to where the mirror was and was shocked at what he or preferably she was looking at and screamed. "What the heck have you done to me Naruto I'm a girl!" Ash yelled as she now looked at what had happened to the former boy.
Ash snorted at this as she looked at what happened to her, knowing she was a girl thanks to her new frame. After all, her face was more feminine, as was the rest of her body, and she noticed the two lumps she had on her chest. "Oh great and I have boobs as well," She looked over at Naruto with a frown as she saw that Naruto was still laughing. "Great my hair is a little longer as well."
"Sorry Ash or should I say Ashley," Naruto said as he started to laugh at his prank. "I have taught you one of my moves; after all," Naruto said and then looked to see how Ash's sexy jutsu formed turned out and just smiled.
Both Misty and Sakura soon came running in as they heard Ash cry out, and the two girls looked at Ash.
"Ash what happened to you?" Misty cried out in shock, seeing that as was a girl, and soon remembered what Naruto could do and knew this was all him. "You did this didn't you Naruto?"
All Naruto could do was look at the two girls and knew he was in trouble as he saw Sakura crack her knuckles at him and gave a smile at her friend and teammate. "Well Naruto I think you're in deep trouble for what you just pulled on Ash."
Naruto could only watch in fear, knowing that this was going to now end all that well for him. So, all Naruto could do right now was look on and laugh lightly at this.
Later that night, Ash returned to his male form, and Naruto had to be taught a lesson by both Sakura and Misty for the prank he had pulled with Naruto saying he wanted to teach Ash a jutsu at least.
Yet right now, they were all talking about what they should be doing next. "Well I hear that the St. Anne is here, maybe we could go and see it," Misty said with a smile as she took a bite of the food that Brock had made.
"Cool I have heard you tell me that the boats here are far bigger than what we have back home," Sakura said as she looked at Misty as she wanted to see this ship with her own eyes.
"Well it's decided tomorrow we go and see the St Anne." Brock said as he too smiled, wanting to see the ship as well.
"It's just a shame we don't have the money to go on it I mean I would to go around the world on the St Anne," Misty said with a dreamy sigh, dreamy of relaxing in the sun on the deck.
Ash nodded as he yawned; it was nighttime, after all, and he looked to his friends and smiled at them. "Well, I'm going to bed we have a big day tomorrow and there could be battles for me to face."
The others all nodded as well, as soon they too went to bed. None of them knew just what would happen on the world-famous St. Anne and the new adventure they would have that would follow it.
A/N well, everyone, this is the end of another chapter; sorry, this took so long been busy with real-life, sadly, so I had little time to work on my stories and get them up as I would like to. Still, I would like to thank EmperorDraco7 for helping me with the chapter; please go ahead and read his fanfiction stories as they are excellent.
As for Ash, yes, he had learned the sexy jutsu after all; Naruto is a prankster after all, so this is something I think he would do, but yes, Ash and Misty will learn from Naruto and Sakura, as will the others.
It's just going to take time for them to learn and be strong like Naruto and Sakura. Also, I'm hoping you love how I handled Ash's sexy form, as I was going to have blonde hair but changed it; you'll see why later as I have plans for that much later.
As for moments to come well, you can expect more NaruSaku moments and Pokeshipping ones in the next chapter. Still, it shall be some time before they hook up; no need to rush it. And if you want to see Naruto and Sakura get any Pokémon, leave me a review of what ones you would like to see them capture and train.
Anyway, I hope you all liked this chapter, and I hope you all keep leaving me reviews. As well as they do help me out a lot in knowing that you all like this story, so I hope you all have a nice day, everyone.
Update note: I fixed this chapter on 15/10/21
