A/N well, guys and girls, a new chapter, and I hope that you all love it as we have a lot more going on; I will say I am happy with what you all like that I had Naruto do to Ash as it was something I think that Naruto would do to Ash. Still, hey, at least Ash knows the sexy jutsu, which I am happy you all liked as this will get used at times. Well, I can say that would be telling now, wouldn't it?
Chapter 16 Battle aboard the St. Anne
The next morning had arrived, Ash, Pikachu, Naruto, Sakura, Misty, and Brock walked over the Vermilion City bridge. Ash and Pikachu were admiring the Thunder Badge they had won. Ash's 3rd badge as well, which was a hard battle for him. Ash chuckled until he looked up and saw a large ship up ahead. Both Naruto and Sakura smiled as well, knowing they too had their 3rd badge and knew there were still five more to get.
The group ran the rest of the way over to the ship. Once there, they took in the sight of a great ship in awe.
"Wow!" Ash and Pikachu exclaimed in awe, both looking at the large ship.
"Beautiful!" Misty said with awe as Sakura nodded in agreement with her female friend as she had never seen a ship like this in her life back home.
"Aw man, I'd love to cross the ocean on a ship like this," Ash said as he smiled at the thought of being on a ship like this.
"Yeah, just think of all the Water Pokémon we'd be able to see along the way!" Brock commented while smiling at the sight.
"Yeah, for sure," Misty exclaims as she starts daydreaming about being on the ship, wearing a bikini, on a recliner while outside in the sun. That thought alone made Misty smile. "Just imagine, sunbathing on deck all day. Just a long relaxing cruise, right Sakura we can sunbathe in the sun and see so many cool-water Pokémon too."
Sakura nodded as she gave a dreamy sigh as well; after all, being a ninja going on a ship like this was not an option for her or her friends as she couldn't help but laugh, knowing that if Ino found out about this, it would make her jealous. "You know as ninja we would never be able to go on a ship like this, as we would have to go on a steam like ship."
Naruto nodded at this as he looked at Sakura. "I agree Sakura, back home I do think we have ships this good," Naruto said, looking at the famous St. Anne with awe.
Unfortunately, the two girls were then quickly brought out of her fantasy. "We could never afford a cruise like that," Brock said to the two girls.
Sadly, both Misty's and Sakura's happy expressions turned into depression; this soon was mirrored by the rest of the group. As one, they all turned to walk away from the ship, moping.
"Reality can really bum you out," Ash said with a frown on his face as he and the others began to walk away from the massive ship.
However, as they did, this confetti was quickly and without warning thrown their way, which got the group's attention. "Congratulations! You guys are way lucky. You can go on the Super Deluxe Sea Cruise!" exclaimed two tan girls dressed in High School clothes. One was long orange-haired, and the other was a short blonde-haired girl.
"A Sea Cruise and we can go on it?" Ash and the others asked as they all looked at each other and then back towards both girls.
On the other hand, both Naruto and Sakura were looking at the two girls and trying to work out where they had seen them before as they did look familiar to them. As the two ninjas looked at each other and soon knew who it was and wondered what the two thieves were up to this time, they were about to tell Ash and the others until Team Rocket interrupted them from doing so.
The two girls jumped right in front of them and began advertising the tickets. "Well, it's like ya know, we have these incredible, super-cool tickets for you," the girl with the long orange hair said.
"Cool!" the blonde-haired girl says.
"Cool huh?" Ash said as the orange girl showed them the tickets, tickets to the famous St. Anne, the same ship they had been looking at not too long ago.
"What are you and what is going on!?" Misty says in surprise, looking over to Sakura as Misty couldn't help but smile but was wondering why as well.
"These are tickets for the biggest party ever on the St. Anne Cruise Liner," orange hair girl says with a smile on her face as she looks at the five trainers. "And all five of you won."
"The Famous St. Anne," asked Ash while raising an eyebrow at them.
"Cool!" the short-haired girl says.
"The coolest ship on the sea," the long-haired stated.
"Oh…" Brock said simply at what the two were saying.
"Everyone is going to be together and have you know like the coolest party!" orange hair says.
"Cool!" the blonde says.
"And the party is for Pokémon trainers only!"
"Cool!"
Naruto could only sweat drops at them. "Can't she say anything else besides cool?" he blinks at them in thought.
The girls two pose in front of them. "Step this way!" orange hair says as the blonde giggles. "It'll be a radical party. All of the most radical Pokémon trainers will be there," orange hair finishes.
"Do you know anybody who says radical anymore?" Ash asks Misty while frowning. Misty responds negatively by shaking her head at Ash.
"Okay dudes," the orange hair girl said as she tried to give the tickets to the group. "Here your tickets."
"We'd love to go on the Pokémon Trainer Cruise, but we really don't have the money to pay for it," Brock tries to reason with them.
"Oh whoa like you don't understand," orange hair says. "Cool"
"You see they're totally free!" orange hair girl states with a grin on her face as she looks at the five trainers before.
"Totally free, totally free!" the girl says, pronouncing each syllable speaking very clearly the third time.
"If they're for free, then why are you giving them away," asked a frowning Ash.
Both Naruto and Sakura had to agree with Ash as they started to narrow their eyes in suspension. "Yeah I mean you just met us after all, so why give them to us?" Naruto asked, looking at the two older girls still with suspension.
"Uh like, we have to go out with our boyfriends, but we wanted to give our tickets to cool Pokémon fans," "Cool!" "We saw you and thought you looked really cool. Just take these and have a really cool time," orange hair says and gives them the tickets.
"Well, thanks a lot," Ash thanked them as he and the others couldn't help but smile.
"No sweat." "Cool."
"Have a nice day, for sure," she says, then the two take off, skipping down the peer, weaving around the people.
The group all smiled, looking at the tickets that they had just gotten from the two strange girls. "Alright, this really is cool isn't it?" Ash says with a smile on his face as he looks at Pikachu and his friends.
"The St. Anne, wow!" Brock says over the horn of a ship.
"Yeah, and that Pokémon Party too," Ash added.
They walked along the pier to find St. Anna as they all tried to look for the ship they would be getting on. "I wonder which of these ships the St. Anne is," Ash wondered.
"I think that's it," Misty looks to her right. They all stopped to look and saw a large ship with what looked like trainers boarding it.
"Wow! That's incredible," Brock says like the others; he was in awe of the ship.
"It's huge!" Misty adds with a grin since, just like her friends, Misty knows this was her chance to go and sunbathe on the ship's deck.
Even Naruto and Sakura were both in awe of seeing the famous St. Anna as they looked at each other, having smiles on their faces. But they both looked at each other and knew that this had to be a trap. "So why do you think Team Rocket gave us them anyway Sakura?"
"Not sure must be a trap but without knowing what it is we may have to wait till it started, but that doesn't mean that we can't be ready for the trap that they have," Sakura said with a smile on her face knowing that it might just be the three fools, but Sakura and Naruto had become used to fighting the three.
Unknown to the group, the two tan High School girls were, in truth, Jessie and James disguised, hiding behind a bush looking at the five.
"We did it, we got them," Jessie said with a grin on her face as she continued to keep her eyes on the five.
"Wow don't I make the coolest girl," James said in a girly voice as he looked over to Jessie.
Jessie soon clunked James over the head for his ridiculous comment. "Stop acting like an idiot James!" She yelled as she dragged him back to their nearby base.
Inside the nearby lighthouse was a Team Rocket secret headquarters stationed within the city that its people didn't know. Inside the base, Jessie, James, and a fearfully, shaking Meowth stood at attention. "We've just received a transmission, from headquarters," he says in a worried tone knowing the Boss may not be happy with the trio. Then presses a button, the image of Team Rocket's Boss appears on the screen, sitting in a chair. The trio stands at attention.
"G-greetings sir," Meowth says, now speaking as he nervously looked at the Team Rocket leader and knew that he might not be happy that they were not doing well in getting the two ninjas.
"So the Team is all there?" The Boss asks them while smirking darkly at the three of them.
"Sir!" the trio said together at attention; just then, a Persian came on screen, rubbing his head against the Boss's leg, purring.
"Meowth! What's with the Persian?" Meowth asks in total surprise, sweat dropping as The Boss starts petting the feline, eliciting a strong purr from the evolved form of Meowth. "Hey boss, what about Meowth, ain't I, your favorite anymore?" Meowth asked, whimpering sadly.
"I'm totally disgusted watching you fail me when I expect total perfection. Perfection like this beautiful Persian, and of course," he then chuckles darkly.
"But, Meowth..." Meowth twiddles his paws nervously.
"If you want to make me happy, you can make sure our latest plan succeeds," the smirking Boss says.
"Meowth!" the cat exclaims at another chance.
"You three will be in charge of this operation, from this point onward. Now then, have you handed out all of the tickets to the St. Anne Cruise?" The Boss asks.
"Yes. All of the Pokémon Trainers were delighted to take them," Jessie reported.
"Was it really alright to give out those tickets for free?" James asked with a frown crossed over her face.
"A small price to pay for what I'll get in return," The Boss said, smirking at the trio.
"Oh!" Jessie and James gasped.
"My men have already secretly boarded the St. Anne. When I give them the signal, they will take the Pokémon from all the Trainers we tricked into boarding the ship," The Boss explained.
"That's The Boss for ya. A real genius," Meowth commented.
"This time failure is out of the question," The Boss stated.
"Aye aye, sir," Jessie and James said but knew that he should know who else was on the ship as well. "We thought that you would also like to know that we also got the two ninja kids on the ship as well."
Once hearing this, Giovanni gave a deep dark smile at hearing the news, but he knew that getting them right now was not the right time. After all, they had many other projects that he needed to oversee first. "Very well just make sure they stay out the way as well."
"We can do it!" Meowth added with a smile, knowing that he was not going to get shown up by Persian.
Giovanni smirks and chuckles from the shadows.
Naruto, Sakura, and their friends were making their way onto the ship. "What an awesome ship!" Ash exclaimed as they walked up the ramp.
"I'd like to travel around the whole world in this," Misty said in a dreamy voice and looked over to Sakura, seeing the same look on her face as well. "Well, Sakura ready for you and Naruto to have your first ever cruise on a ship like this?"
Sakura just looked at her close female friend she had made in this world and nodded. "Oh you bet I am Misty I mean this is going to be so much fun."
They came up to a worker, and Ash presented the tickets. "Welcome aboard the St. Anne," the worker greets them, then gestures for them to go in. "This way."
The group walked inside and were all amazed at what was inside the ship. "Wow, look at this!" Ash says in excitement at seeing all the different Trainers and Pokémon out in the large room.
Everybody began talking to each other, either exchanging information or at a Vender looking at the many souvenirs to buy for Naruto and Sakura. That was a fantastic sight to them as they had not seen anything like this in their lives. And while they had seen something like this with the Chunin exams with many people from different villages.
Thinking of home did make the two feel sad that they were missing a lot, but still, they had friends with them and knew that they might be able to head home one day; they just had to have hope that this would happen to the two ninjas of Konoha.
"It's like a giant Pokémon Convention," Ash guessed.
"Everyone's a Pokémon Trainer," Misty said, looking around as she saw the many Pokémon trainers.
The group stopped and saw two trainers holding their Charmander and talking about them. "Take a look at the smooth skin on my Charmander, that shows how healthy it is," said one boy rubbing his fire starter's head.
"Check out the flame on my Charmander. There's orange mixed in with red. Cool huh? Check it out!" the other boy says excitedly, showing off his Charmander's flame.
"Wait, have a look at how hard the shell is on my Squirtle! Tough huh?" another trainer comes sliding into the conversation, holding his water starter for them to see.
Everyone just looked at the three younger trainers as Ash began to smile at what he had heard the three say. "My Charmander and Squirtle are way better than theirs," Ash said as his friends could tell he was getting pumped at just the very sight, he was seeing.
Naruto even had to agree with Ash on that as he looked at his friend. "Well, maybe you should show them."
Ash nodded as he was about to show them when the five heard a voice from behind them. "Well, would you look who it is?" A voice asked that Ash knew all too well.
The five all looked around to see who it was as Ash scowled at the voice. "Gary…." Ash said as he looked at his rival. "Just my like that he had to be here as well."
Both Naruto and Sakura looked at Ash and the trainer that was standing before them. Naruto had a feeling that this was the one of had written that note that they had found before they had gone to Cerulean City. "I guess this is Gary then," Naruto said as he whispered to Sakura, who nodded silently.
With a smirk on his face, Gary looked at Ash and the ones he was with, but the group also saw that Gary was not alone either, from what they could tell. "Gary, Gary he's our man if he can't do it, no one can!" The cheerleaders all cried out.
Brock, Misty, Naruto, and Sakura all looked at what they were seeing as they and while Brock was all-girl crazy once he saw all the cheerleaders that Gary had with him, Misty, Sakura, and Naruto all simple looked at each other. "Does he really carry a bunch of cheerleaders with him?" Naruto asked, looking at the woman with Gary.
"Seem like it Naruto," Sakura said as she and Misty both tried to wonder how he had them with him in the first place.
However, Gary soon noticed the two girls he saw Ash was with and pushed his way past Ash and made his way towards Sakura and Misty. "Well, well who do we have here then?" he asked as he moved in front of the two girls.
Both Misty and Sakura blinked in surprise at this looking at Gary. Neither of them was sure what to honestly make of what he was trying to do right now.
Gary just looked at both girls and then over to Ash. "How did two fine ladies like you end up with a loser like Ash then?" Gary asked the two with a grin on his face as he tried to woo the two girls for lack of a better word.
Hearing this just made both frown at this as they looked at each other. "Is he really trying to it on us?" Misty thought looking over to Sakura, hoping for an answer from her, and knew that this was odd.
Sakura frowned, hearing this as she noticed that Misty wasn't happy either She knew what her friend was thinking and nodded at her. "I think that he is," Sakura thought with a frown on her face too.
Even inner Sakura had to agree with this as she frowned her own. "Damn right, who does he think he is anyway?"
Gary just moved closer to both girls, something that Naruto was a little tense about as he saw Ash's rival take hold of Sakura's hand. "I can see why Ash does not like him all that much."
"What do you want Gary?" Ash asked as he looked at his rival with a frown on his face, knowing that this was the last thing he wanted right now.
On the other hand, Gary just looked over to Ash as Naruto could see that Gary had a smug look on his face. "Yeah, that's something that I would like to know as well," Naruto said as he had a frown on his face as well.
"Oh, and who are you then?" Gary asked as he looked at Naruto and placed a hand on his chin, looking at Naruto with a grin on his face.
Naruto scowled at this, looking at the trainer before him. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki ya' know!" he said with a huff knowing that it was best not to make a scene; he was going to yell out what he was going to be but knew it was best not to say it in front of so many people around them.
Gary just looked at what Naruto had said and just looked at him. "Well Naruto the names Gary Oak and you better remember that name as one day you will hear it all over the world as the greatest Pokémon trainer in the world."
"Gary, Gary he's our man he'll leave others in the dust!" The cheerleader cried out with smiles on their faces as Sakura and Misty both frowned at this as they heard what they said about him. "GO, Gary!"
Gary smiled at the girls that were with him. "That's right girls I will," he said as he once again looked over to Sakura and Misty with a smile. "Anyways ladies, why don't you both leave them two losers and join me?" He asked, still smiling at the two girls.
Hearing this made both Ash and Naruto scowl at this. "First he tries to flirt with Sakura and now he calls me and Ash losers," Naruto thought with a frown on his face and looked over to Misty and Sakura.
Both Misty and Sakura looked at each other when Gary said this to them both, and then they looked at Ash and Naruto as they too were shocked at what he had just asked as well. "Sorry, but we are not interested are we Misty," Sakura said, looking at her friend with a smile.
"Yeah, I think we will stick with Ash and Naruto," Misty said as she gave a smile of her own and looked at her male friends and saw the shocked look that was on Ash's face, as well as Brock and Naruto's.
Gary just looked at Ash and smiled at both him and Naruto. "Well, ladies my offer still stands if you ever want it, smell ya later Ashy, Naruto," He told the two as he soon walked off from the two.
Naruto, who still had a frown on his face, looked at Ash and crossed his arms over his chest. "I can see why you hate him, Ash, that Gary is a right…." Naruto began to say as Sakura covered his mouth know what he was going to say.
"Naruto there are kids on the ship remember," She said, looking around as many kids with their parents were looking and the whisker hair blonde.
"Alright, bring 'em on!" a voice caught the group's attention. They turned to see a battle taking place.
A well-dressed Gentleman with a Raticate was starting a battle with a young trainer with a Starmie. The Gentleman gave his Pokémon an order to attack. "Raticate, High Jump Kick!" the Gentleman ordered. Raticate jumps forward. "Raticate!"
"Alright Starmie, spinning Tackle!" the trainer countered. Starmie started spinning surprisingly fast and made contact with Raticate in midair.
Both struck each other, then fell back to the ground and back into fighting positions, awaiting further instructions. Ash and the others made it through the crowd. "Alright they're having a battle," an excited Ash said.
"Raticate, Super Fang Attack now," the Gentleman ordered once more. 'Raticate' and Raticate bites Starmie until its center jewel is cracked open and a few shards come free.
Ash now looked wide-eyed and in shock. They felt their hearts beating fast at the pain they felt coming from Starmie just before the water Pokémon collapsed to the ground.
Starmie's trainer looks on in shock as The Gentleman is declared the winner. "Are you okay Starmie?" the boy asked his Pokémon, picking it up. He looked incredibly sad.
"Don't feel too badly young man. It was only a practice match anyhow, and I just happen to be lucky," The Gentleman says, as a beautiful woman in a red dress comes up to The Gentleman and hangs off his shoulder.
"My how gracious," she says to him.
"Hmm, not at all Ms.," he says to the woman, then turns back to the young trainer.
"Keep working on building your Starmie's strength there," he says to the boy. "Well now, is anybody brave enough to challenge my Raticate?" The Gentleman asks the crowd of Trainers.
The others all looked at each other as they were unsure what to do; seeing her chance, Sakura decided to step forward. "Well, I'd like to take that challenge so how about a battle with my Butterfree?" Sakura asked as she looked at the Gentleman with a smile on her face.
The Gentleman just looked at Sakura and smiled at her as he nodded his head. "As you wish young lady." He said with a smile on his face.
With a smile that crossed her face, Sakura took out Butterfree's Poké Ball as she called her Pokémon. "Alright, Butterfree time to show them what we girls can do."
With that said, Sakura called out her Butterfree as she looked at the Gentleman in front of her. "Okay then Butterfree, Tackle it!"
"Raticate dodge it and use Tackle as well," The Gentleman cried out to his Pokémon, who simply did what his trainer told him.
The two are striking each other with the same attack in midair. To most of the watching trainers around, neither one was taking damage. But to some of the other trainers, like Ash, Misty, and Brock, all noticed that Raticate's recovery time was slowing down rapidly. It was becoming slow.
"Sakura and Butterfree are both looking good out there," Misty commented with a smile as she looked at Sakura and smiled at the pink hair girl and how well she was doing in her battle right now.
"Yeah, this is a good match really," Brock smiled, arms crossed, watching how Sakura was doing.
"Well she has had Butterfree since we got here and has been training her the most as well, so I know that she can win this dattebayo!" Naruto cried out with a massive smile on his face as his friends nodded as well, knowing he was right.
The four all looked back to the battle that's currently happening with Naruto having a bright smile on his face seeing the girl he loved doing well in her Pokemon battle.
Sakura looked at her Pokémon and knew that she needed to develop a plan and fast as well. "I better find a way to end this fast, as I'm not sure how long Butterfree will be able to hand his Raticate, but I'm a ninja of Konoha after all and we never give up."
With a smile, Sakura looked top her Butterfree with a smile on her face. "Okay, then Butterfree time to use Whirlwind!" She called out as Butterfree cried out and began to use her attack on the rat-like Pokémon.
Raticate was soon trapped in attack and tried his best to get free from the attack; he was stuck in and was doing all he could to break free, yet he was not having much luck.
"That's it Sakura keep it up we all know that you can do it!" Misty cried out to her friend, hoping that both she and Butterfree could win. "Show them what girl power is all about!" Misty cried with a smile on her face.
Sakura nodded at this, watching as her Butterfree's Whirlwind stopped as Raticate landed on the ground looking over to Butterfree, knowing full well that this battle was a tough one the others watching could also tell this.
Raticate was breathing hard, showing his fatigue; this just caused the Gentleman to frown, and he decided to hurry and end the match. "Finish it Raticate, Hyper Fang Attack!" the Gentleman commanded as his Raticate jumped at Butterfree, mouth open to use its move.
"Okay just wait for the right moment…." Sakura thought with a smile as she saw Raticate jump into the air and towards her Butterfree. Sakura knew that this was the moment that she had been waiting to attack. "Alright, then Butterfree use Psybeam!"
Butterfree nodded at what Sakura told her and soon fired Psybeam right at Raticate, who wasn't unable to get out the way since he was in midair. And once the attack had hit head-on, Raticate was sent crashing to the ground and couldn't get up and was unable to fight. The others all watched with a smile on their faces and happy Sakura had won. "She did way to go Sakura!" Ash yelled at her, glad that she had won the battle.
"Way to go Butterfree," Sakura said happily as her Pokémon went flying into Sakura's arms, both giving each other a hug for winning the battle.
"Raticate return, you put up a good fight," The Gentleman said, returning his defeated Pokémon, tipping his hat towards Sakura, and then leaving with the woman in the red dress.
The other trainers left and commented on how the battle went, and some wondered if Sakura would have a Pokemon battle with one of them later on and the others that she was with, and they all wanted to see how strong they all were.
Sakura and Butterfree heard it all, looked at each other, and chuckled nervously but was still happy at the win she had gotten.
Later on, Naruto decides to walk around the ship and sees a familiar young man in a waiter's suit with short blue hair and green eyes. Then he realized it was James! "What are they doing on the ship nothing good I bet?" Naruto thought as he knew that he had to keep an eye on him.
So Naruto followed him as he stopped by a man with slicked-back black hair wearing a white shirt, black pants, sandals, and a white headband tied around his forehead. He was standing behind a tank of reddish-orange fish, and Naruto knew what they were.
"Hey, boy over here!" it called out, and he turned to his left to see that it was a weird salesman with black eyes and brown hair.
"Are you addressing me?" asked James, even though it would distract him from his current mission for the time being, but it couldn't hurt to hear what this strange man had to say.
"I want you to have a look at this Pokémon," answered the man in question, pointing down at the Pokémon that he had inside a tank full of water. When James glanced down at it, the Pokémon was none other than a Magikarp, which resembled Naruto's one with him, although the trio had never seen Naruto using that against them.
"What is this thing?"
The salesman had a sly grin on his face, hoping to make James interested in the fish he had right in front of him. "The King of all Karp, a Magikarp." He told the purple-haired Rocket member.
"What do I do with it?" James asked him again, somewhat confused by the sight of the Magikarp in general as the salesman took it from out of the glass tank, causing it to start flopping around in his arms. "Do I eat it?"
"See how healthy it is?" It was then the strange man gave Magikarp to James, making it wiggle and flop, even more, much to the latter's surprise at how right he was.
"Wow, it certainly is lively!" James didn't know what else to say, only for the mysterious salesman to come closer towards him with a little secret, hoping to entrust the younger man with it. He had another thought on his mind as there was a small gleam in one of his eyes.
"Just between you and me, this Magikarp is like a Pokémon Goldmine…" he whispered in a somewhat soft tone, not wanting anyone else to hear what he has to tell James, which in turn made him even more curious about what he meant.
"A Goldmine?"
"That's right, a Magikarp lays a thousand eggs at a time… each of those thousand baby Magikarp lay a thousand more, a thousand times a thousand makes a million… everyone one of those one-million eggs lays another one-thousand… that's a billion Pokémon!"
"A billion?" This news was starting to make James somewhat interested in the Pokémon that he was holding and had the image of gold nuggets appearing on the back of his mind, this could honestly give him a promotion if he were to buy the Magikarp, but that wasn't all.
"You can sell one Magikarp for a hundred dollars, in three generations, you will have tons of money… billions and billions!" said the salesman, shocking James even more with the fact that he could make a real fortune with Magikarp.
"Billions?!" he exclaimed, realizing that if what he was hearing was correct, he might even have enough money to become the next leader of Team Rocket. James then imagined himself at a throne petting Giovanni's Persian's head while having a glass of wine with gold coins and gold bars behind him. "Rich! Rich! Just like the old days!"
"I normally charge $100 but for you, I'll charge in the egg-laying set, childcare set, and an education set for only $300!" said the salesman, wanting to be sure that it will be a great deal that he's giving out to James. Sadly for James, he doesn't realize that this is just a trick to buy one of his Magikarp as, in actuality, they are, in truth, widespread and can be found everywhere in the water. "So how about it?"
"I'll take it!" James answered the man, looking forward to becoming rich and couldn't wait to show his new Pokémon to Jessie and Meowth, failing to notice the sly grin that the seller had on his face, with the sight of another 'satisfied' customer.
"I can tell, you are going to be a very rich man!" replied the salesman, mentally laughing that this was too easy to sucker the Rocket member that was in front of him all without even trying to boot. The best part to him, there are no refunds to anyone who buys his Magikarp's.
Naruto couldn't believe all those lies, but he just watched James pay the vendor, and then he received a Poké Ball that must have gotten painted in gold.
After all, from what his own Magikarp told him, they were not well-liked as many trainers didn't want them seeing them as weak and all, something Naruto still didn't like. But he knew that he didn't care for that, as like with Ash and his Pokémon, Naruto's own were all his friends he didn't mind even they could blow up a whole mountain, not Naruto just wanted his Pokémon to be happy.
Naruto, Sakura, and their friends were currently eating at a table. About an hour ago, after Sakura's victory over The Gentleman, Sakura even was swamped by a few male trainers who wanted to battle her or ask her out on a date.
However, this was something Naruto didn't like, which Misty saw and lightly laughed at Naruto. "And you try to tease me about Ash," Misty told Naruto with a grin on her face as Naruto looked at her. "What you both say something is going on and there is nothing going on with us."
On the other hand, Naruto looked at Misty when she had said this, and he frowned at her knowing what she was saying. "Oh, just you wait Misty chan I have been known to get back on people using my pranks," Naruto said as he looked at her with a massive grin on his face thinking what would be the best prank to pull on her.
Misty just looked at him as she showed off her mallet to him. "Well it best me nothing to do with me and Ash, remember your still in trouble for the trick you used on Ash with that perverted thing you told him about."
"Hey he wanted to learn what I could do so I taught him one of the first Jutsu's I came up with," Naruto said with the same grin on his face.
Misty just sighed as she knew whatever Naruto's plan to prank her would not be good, and she would need to keep an eye out on him for a while as she knew Naruto was going to plan something on her.
While at the table, stuffing their faces, the group was surprised when the Gentleman and the woman in the red dress he battled earlier approached them. "So, are ya having yourself a good time?" The Gentleman asks, catching the group's attention.
"Yes sir, we're having a great time," Ash answers, after swallowing his food as he was hoping that he may get a chance to battle the man that was standing before him right now.
"Ya know, that Butterfree of yours is quite extraordinary!" the Gentleman compliments as he looks at Sakura.
"It's incredible," the woman says.
Brock looks at her and goes red in the face, literally. "She's beautiful," he says in a trance, dropping his unfinished sandwich.
"Hello in there," Misty says, waving a hand over Brock's face.
The only response she got back was "Beautiful."
"Sighs, here we go again," Misty gives up with a sigh, sweat dropping.
Ash nodded, standing next to her as he looked at his female friend. "I just hope that I never become like that when I get older Mist."
"Well, I put a lot of work into raising her," Sakura says, with a smile at the first Pokémon she had got in this world.
Hearing this made the Gentleman sincerely smile at Sakura after hearing this from her. "What did ya think of my Raticate?" The Gentleman asked her.
"It looked great, and it really put up a tough fight," Sakura answered.
"In that case, I'll be direct, why don't we trade," the man said.
The others were shocked at what they had just heard the Gentleman had said as they all looked at him, and to the two ninjas, this confused them more as they were still learning a lot about this world.
Sakura decided to speak up. "Trade Pokémon…?" she asked, looking at the man standing before her.
"When two people find that they like the others Pokémon, they trade it's a common practice everywhere among trainers." He said, looking at Sakura.
Sakura, Naruto, and Ash were surprised by this news as all three looked at each other, and then they looked back towards the Gentleman as he soon went on about her good trading Pokémon was and how it would spread all over the world.
"Friendship is wonderful." The woman in the dress with the Gentleman said as she had a smile of her own.
Brock, still love-struck by her, just nodded with a deep blush on his face. "Yeah, yeah why don't you and I start a friendship right now?" He said with a smile as both Misty and Naruto gave a sigh, with Ash still worried he would turn out like Brock.
"So should I trade Butterfree to him then Brock?" Sakura asked as she was still unsure if she should do it or not.
"Oh yeah, you got to trade everybody should trade, lets trade right now," Brock said in a giddy tone of voice. Sakura just nodded her head as she headed with the man along with Brock and Naruto as Ash and Misty stayed at the table looking at each other, both knowing that this was Sakura's choice after all.
Meanwhile, James was back with Jessie and Meowth, neither of which seemed to be too happy about him spending his money on a Magikarp that the mysterious salesman had given him!
"You idiot, can't you see you were tricked!" Jessie yelled in anger over what James had brought.
Even Meowth agreed with Jessie, too, with what James had done. "What a dope!"
However, seeing how angry his two teammates were, he began to try and tell them what the salesmen had told James. "But, you don't understand, Magikarp is a goldmine. Even its Pokéball is made of gold." He said, showing off the Poké Ball in his hands.
"It's just gold plated!" Meowth yelled as he scratched the Poké Ball to show even it was fake and how James had gotten tricked by the man he got it from, which just caused James to scream in shock.
"Magikarp is a worthless Pokémon, who can only flail around uselessly!" she went on and crossed her arms over her chest, her eyes never leaving James. "How can you have been so ignorant as to believe what that guy told you?"
"I was tricked." He said as he looked down at the ground at what he had just heard from Jessie and Meowth.
"By the way, James, how exactly did you pay for that Magikarp, to begin with?" she asked him, having her arms crossed while Meowth was tapping his foot, waiting for a response from James.
"Well, you see… the advance on my salary wouldn't quite cover it, so I…." He didn't finish what he would say, knowing that it would make Jessie angrier than she already was, yet she got closer to him and made him even more nervous than ever.
"So, you did what?"
James didn't know how to put it into words without making things worse, so he decided to come clean right then and there. "So I used the advance on your salary…" he said, which resulted in him being repeatedly slapped across the face by Jessie, furious that he used her salary to buy the worthless Magikarp without even telling her.
"YOU GO RETURN THAT FISH AND GET MY MONEY BACK RIGHT NOW!" she screamed out of pure rage while continuing to beat James up, and Meowth figured that he should watch this as it could take a while provided that James survives the beating of the lifetime.
Meanwhile, Misty and Ash talked about what had happened with Sakura out on the ship's deck. They were both concerned about what Sakura had done. Neither could blame her as both she and Naruto were still learning about this new world, and being they were ninja, it was not like trading was a new weapon.
The two were looking out at the ocean. "I really hope that Sakura knows what she is doing. I mean, Butterfree was the first Pokémon she ever had," Ash said, voicing his worry for his friend.
Misty nodded as she knew this was new to Sakura, seeing how it's confessing for her and Naruto and what to do when trading. She couldn't help but smile when she remembered the smile Sakura had on her face when she got her first Pokémon as well.
The two ten-year-olds only continued to look out at the ocean as Misty turned to Ash. "So, I guess you were right about Gary then," Misty said with a light smile on her face meeting him for the first time and still shocked at what he offered to her as well. "Seems like a jerk and a show-off."
However, Ash could only give a huff at hearing his name but just looked at Misty, still shocked at what Gary had asked both her and Sakura. "I still can't believe he asked you and Sakura to come with him."
"Well, too bad, I wanted to stay with you and Naruto, and besides knowing Gary, he would want me and Sakura to dress up in cheerleading outfits," Misty said as she didn't honestly want to put something like that on her, and she wondered if Sakura felt the same as well. "Which all I can say to that is no thank you to putting one of them on me."
Ash just laughed lightly and knew that he had a feeling that doing something like that was not something either of the two girls would like that much at all from the time he had known both girls. "That's true Misty. Still, I'm happy you and Sakura will be staying here with me and not going with Gary."
Misty just over to Ash as she smiled at him and nodded her head at him before talking to him. "Well, someone has to keep an eye on both you and Naruto after all, and that is mine and Sakura's job. Since Brock will get distracted by all the girls you might meet." Misty said and laughed as she looked at Ash and smiled at him
Ash just looked at Misty and gave a frown but knew she was merely playing around. "Yeah messed up when we first meet," Ash said as he remembered sending out Caterpie to fight Pidgeotto.
"You're a lot better than you were then Ash no one is a pro from the start and we lose some battle but also win some," Misty told him as she smiled at Ash as her eyes looked back out at the ocean. "It's beautiful, the ocean that is I've always loved the sea ever since I was little."
Ash just looked at her as he knew while Ash and the others had gotten to know Naruto and Sakura, and he knew Brock as well. Ash didn't know much about Misty, mainly her family; he knew about her three sisters, but not her parents as Misty continued talking. "When I was younger my family always went to the beach and we saw a lot of water Pokémon Ash, I saw how my mother caught Starmie," Misty said as she remembered the good times with her mother.
Ash was about to ask her why she never talked about her parents when he felt his hand touching something; looking down, both Ash and Misty saw that their hands were touching the others as they quickly pulled away and looked away from the other with a light blush on their faces.
"Anyway, I'm going to look for Sakura so see you later Ash," Misty said as she quickly took off back into the ship with a light blush still on her face as she didn't see that Ash's face was also red.
Sakura went to the room they had been given as she saw Sakura sitting on the bed as she was looking at the Poké Ball that held her new Pokémon; as Misty saw, Sakura had an intense look on her face.
"Sakura are you alright?" Misty asked, closing the door behind her and making her way over to Sakura's resting before sitting down on the bed, and then Misty sat next to Sakura.
Sakura, for her part, looked up at Misty as she gave a smile. "Yeah, I was just thinking." Sakura began as her eyes went back to her pokéball.
Misty just looked at Sakura with a smile as she knew it was something. "So what are you thinking about?"
"Well, Butterfree was the first Pokémon I ever had she was my friend and well I…." Sakura said as she couldn't find the words she wanted to say. "I mean Naruto and me, there is still so much more about this world neither of us knows about, and I was confused."
Misty just smiled again as she looked at her friend. "Well, you are learning more about our world and we don't have great ninja secrets that we need to hide," Misty said with a smile on her face once again.
Sakura nodded as she had told Misty there was not that much she could tell Ash and her or Brock that much about their home as she and Naruto are still ninjas at heart and were now allowed to tell them secrets, but after the Pokémon that showed up, they needed to teach their friends how to be safe.
"That's true Misty, but we are going to teach you how to be safe. I mean, Team Rocket is after us now and who knows what they will do to us," Sakura said as she was worried about Naruto and what the evil origination would do to him if they found out about the Kyuubi. "But hey, at least we can kick ass if they try anything," Sakura said but looked back to the pokéball in her hand.
A few hours later, dark clouds grew overhead in the sky. A storm was approaching.
Suddenly, the doors to the room were then all quickly slammed shut, before even curtains were then also drawn, and all the boat attendants threw off their clothes. They were revealing themselves to be Team Rocket Grunts in disguised. Ash and the others gritted their teeth at the Grunts that surrounded them and the other trainers.
The lights went off. Then all attention was turned to a pair of Rockets on a table, in the spotlight. One was a long red-haired woman who stood confidently. And a purple-haired guy who looked depressed at the moment.
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.
James depressingly: To unite all peoples within our nation.
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James depressingly: To extend our reach to the stars above.
Jessie: Jessie.
James depressingly: James.
Jessie: Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light!
James sighs depressingly: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
"Meowth, that's right!" Meowth cried out with a smile.
"Team Rocket will now take possession of your Pokémon!" Jessie announces to the frightened Trainers.
The crowd looked shocked and murmured their thoughts of the criminals taking their Pokémon. Some of the Grunts began to use the suction vacuum packs they wore to suck the Trainers Pokéballs, while others walked around demanding trainers to hand over their Pokémon.
One Grunt walked over to Ash and his friends and held out his hand. "Give me ya Pokémon," he demanded, looking at both Sakura and Misty.
"No way!" Misty yelled at him, and Brock glared at the Grunt.
"Don't make me take them!" another Grunt said from behind Ash.
Both Naruto and Sakura looked at the two Team Rocket members with frowns on their faces at what was going on right now as they both looked at each other and began counting how many Team Rocket members there were right now.
One of the Team Rocket grunts soon grabbed Misty by the arm, pulling her closer to him. "I said, give me your Pokémon I will not ask again, girl," He said, gripping the wrist of her hand more tightly.
Ash just looked at what was going on as he saw Misty was getting hurt, which he didn't like at all. "Hey let her go!" Ash yelled at the Team Rocket grunt with slight anger at this.
On the other hand, the grunt just ignored Ash as he began to hurt Misty even more, while the other grunt was looking at the two ninjas, thinking where he had seen the two kids before him.
Both Naruto and Sakura saw this and knew that all of Team Rocket may know about them now and what they could do as well, but they knew they could take them on; it would be easy; what worried them was the Pokemon and the other people here.
Seeing the grunt continue to hurt Misty and having an awful feeling he would not let go, Ash moved into action, and Sakura was about to stop him as Naruto stopped her. "Sakura this is something Ash has to do," Naruto said as he watched Ash move towards the grunt.
Ash soon moved towards the Rocket grunt and grabbed hold of his arm, pulling him away from Misty, the other Team Rocket grunt saw this and moved to stop what he saw Ash was doing, and both Naruto and Sakura saw this and are not going to let this happen.
"Oh, I don't think so!" Naruto cried out as the blonde ninja tackled the grunt down to the ground stopping him from hurting Ash.
However, Ash freed Misty from the grunt's grip that he currently had on her as he soon looked to Pikachu, knowing that it was time to fight back and stop Team Rocket from taking their Pokémon away. "Okay, then Pikachu let's show them what we've got!" Ash called out.
'On it Ash, I'll show them what happens to thieves like them!' Pikachu shocked the two Grunts, and they fainted, both having smoke rising from their defeated forms.
Everybody had seen what Ash had done and began to get confident. "If they're gonna try and rob our Pokémon, we might as well make it a battle," Ash stated loudly, glaring at the Grunts around them.
"Yeah, we just can't surrender!" "Let's fight back!" "Yeah!" the crowd of trainers cried out, all now getting pumped for battle. Seeing this did shock the Grunts, however, as the Trainers were now attacking them.
"Go!" was echoed by the Trainers throwing their Poké Balls.
"Suck them up, suck them up, suck them all up," Jessie smirks as she can suck up some of the thrown Poké Balls. The Poké Balls she didn't get had released the power of the Pokémon that's inside.
"Atta way to go, guys! Keep sucking 'em up!" Meowth cheered from the sidelines.
Some of the Grunts followed Jessie's lead and started sucking the thrown Poké Balls. "Make sure you get every last one!" Meowth continued to cheer for Team Rocket.
Then The Gentleman from before made an appearance, and he threw a Poké Ball. "Squirtle, Go!" and his water Pokémon appeared, "Squirtle!"
"We've got to fight them together!" Brock says as he and Misty reach for their Poké Balls.
"Pikachu, Go!" Ash commands.
'I'm on it, Ash!' Pikachu runs forward just then; he is then quickly joined by the other trainers, Pikachu. They all made a pyramid of themselves, with Ash's Pikachu landing on top.
'Okay guys lets show them what we can do, and what a mistake it was for them to do this.' Pikachu said, and they all fired a Thunderbolt at the Rocket, shocking them.
After that, Ash soon sent out his Charmander, and many others then joined him, and all together, they used Flamethrower on the Team Rocket grunts and Meowth as they all cried out in pain.
Naruto and Sakura looked at each other and knew what to do as they both grabbed the Pokéballs and saw Misty and Brock were also picking out the right Pokémon to do battle with Team Rocket as well.
Brock acted on this and sent out his own, knowing just the one that could help out. "Geodude!" called out Brock as all other Geodude's joined up with Brocks, and they made their attacks.
"Beedrill!" called out Naruto as he had a smile on his face; he was going to put the sting on Team Rocket.
Others soon joined his Beedrill as they all went in attacking one guy who was screaming at what was going on, trying to get away from the bug Pokémon. "Not the Beedrill! Not the Beedrill!" yelled one of the Team Rocket grunts in fear. "They're in my eyes!"
"What?" asked another one of the Team Rocket grunts frowning at what he had just heard and looking to his comrades, "Do you have any idea what he's talking about?"
"I don't know…" said a third as he was just as confused as well as he looked over to Misty, making sure he would get her Pokémon.
A few of them looked at the two ninjas with a smile, knowing just who Naruto and Sakura were as they looked at each other with smirks on their faces. "Its the ninja kids that we've been told about, guys," A female Rocket grunt said with a grin as she looked at the others.
"Yeah, we can get them for our boss," A male said with a smile as he moved over to Sakura and grabbed her by the shoulders, and gave a smile as he looked at the pink Konoha Ninja. "You're going to be coming with us, girl."
Naruto was seeing this was worried as he was about to run over to her when the female Rocket agent stopped him as she looked at him with a smile on her face. "Sorry, but you won't be going to help your little girlfriend, kid, but you both will be coming with us as well as your Pokémon," She said as she lightly laughed at Naruto as she was about to take hold of his hand.
"No chance in hell, lady!" Naruto yelled at her as he would not let Team Rocket use him, for who knows what as he was sure that it would be bad for the people.
"Naruto, switch!" Sakura yelled; she used her elbow to hit the grunt in the gut as she jumped over Naruto and stood in front of the female grunt, knowing she was going to deal with her while Naruto dealt with the other member.
Naruto nodded as he jumped and looked at the male Team Rocket grunt and got into the fighting stance that he had learned; he knew that there were a few problems with it but knew that this was Team Rocket, he should be fine.
The team rocket grunt just looked at Naruto and laughed at this, knowing that it was pointless to fight back. "Really, kid, you're going to try and fight us. I wouldn't do that if I were you as you know nothing about us," He said with another laugh to the blonde hair ninja.
However, Naruto also smiled at this, knowing that Team Rocket may have got informed what he and Sakura could do. There was still a lot that they had yet to have shown; he just hoped that the thing in metal armor didn't mention the Rasengan, or they knew about it.
He also knew that this needed the be fast as well the fewer people that knew what he and Sakura could do was the better after all, and he was thankful that the many other trainers on the ship were busy right now dealing with the many other Team Rocket agents.
"So you come with us, and you may save your friends lives," he said with a smirk; with that in mind, Naruto went rushing towards the Team Rocket agent and swiftly punched the man in the stomach as he soon doubled over in pain over what Naruto had just done to him.
Naruto looked back to Sakura as she had dealt with the female agent, which made Naruto smile, seeing that the members were getting knocked out cold. Sakura did not have a happy look on her face as Naruto had a feeling that it had something to do with Butterfree. Naruto wanted to ask her, but this wasn't the time to talk to her.
Misty saw this as she would not let her Pokémon be taken away from her, not on her watch. "Clefairy!" called out Misty.
The Clefairy came out and joined by a few others. They all joined together in a Metronome, merging and creating a strange mix of water gun, flame thrower, Thunderbolts, and some weird pink ball.
Both Ash and Sakura soon noticed a group of Butterfree were all in the middle of a battle as they were using Stun spore on Team Rocket. While Ash sent out his own, Sakura had forgotten that she had traded hers away to the Gentleman as she had sent out Raticate instead. "Sakura, you traded away Butterfree, that guy remember," Misty said as she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder.
"Yeah, I kind of forgot Misty," Sakura said with a frown on her face as she remembered the first time she had her Butterfree as a Caterpie and when she evolved into Metapod and then Butterfree.
"Pidgeotto, come on out!" Ash cried as his flying type Pokémon cried once let out as Ash knew just what to do. "Pidgeotto group Guts attack."
"Pikachu group Thunderbolt!" Ash cried out as all the Pikachu's grouped up once again like they had done before as they all unleashed a massive thunderbolt on all the Team Rocket grunts, shocking them all and sending some of them flying off the ship as well and into the sky.
Once Team Rocket were all defeated, the trainers smiled at each other, cheering over what had happened, and Ash smiled as well. "I think that we should all be very proud of our Pokémon, and we taught Team Rocket a lesson they won't soon forget," Ash said with a smile on his face.
Naruto nodded as he saw Jessie James and Meowth were heading out the door and saw they were all seriously hurt from the number of Pokémon that had attacked them. "I can't wait to get off this bucket of a ship."
Just then, a massive wave had hit the ship, rocking the ship, which was terrible timing as James was holding the fake gold Poké Ball that had Magikarp inside as it rolled down the halls of the ship. "Ah! Wait, there goes my salary advanced!" James called out urgently.
"There goes my money too!" Jessie ran after the two.
"Meowth!" Meowth yelled out.
Meanwhile, once Team Rocket had got dealt with, Sakura decided to get her Butterfree back from the Gentleman. "Please, Butterfree was my first ever Pokémon I had, and she means so much to me," Sakura said, looking at the man as she felt the waves hit the ship and knew that she and her friends would all need to get off this ship.
The Gentleman, however, looked at Sakura's face and knew she wanted her Pokémon back and just smiled at her knowing she cared a great deal for her Pokémon. "That's okay, miss you must care deeply for your Butterfree." He said with a kind smile.
Misty soon came running into the room as she looked at Sakura and gave a sigh that she was alright. "I found you, Sakura," Misty said with a happy smile as she saw what her friend was doing and knew she was getting Butterfree back, which made Misty smile.
Sakura looked over to Misty as she smiled as well. "Misty, what's going on?" Sakura asked as she felt the ship jolt ever so lightly.
"It's the storm. I think it's getting a lot worse out there," Misty said, her voice full of worry at this, knowing that the ship was not going to be able to take too many more hits from the waves at this rate.
Sakura's eyes went wide at what Misty said, and she nodded her head as Sakura quickly went back to what she was doing to get her Pokémon back, and then she and Misty would need to go and find their friends and then get off the doomed ship.
Meanwhile, Naruto saw how stormy the sea was right now and saw a group of people around the vessel's captain, all of them worried. "Now everyone, please calm down," The captain of the ship said, trying to calm them down. "The high seas have just pushed us a little off course."
Hearing this was something none of the trainers liked the sound of this. They were now getting worried about what that meant; they all looked at the captain for answers. Even Naruto knew that this was bad that he had to go and find the others and warn them, as he heard the captain talk once more to the others. "We're heading for port right now, and besides, this ship is unsinkable; there no need for alarm," He told them all with a smile on his face.
Just as he said this, another wave hit the ship, rocking all the people on it and soon looked to see where the captain was, and they saw that he was on a lifeboat. "There's no reason to panic. I thought I'd just test out one of the lifeboats," he said while smiling at the passengers, yet this didn't sit well with the other passengers watching the captain leave the sinking St. Anna.
They all began to panic in fear at what was going on, running towards the lifeboats in a panic. They all wanted to get off the doomed St. Anna before it was too late.
Even Naruto's face went white as this happened as he knew that this was terrible news, and he needed to go and find the others right now as the last thing he needed or wanted was to die at sea like this.
Both Misty and Sakura rushed back, looking for their friends as they saw Brock but no Naruto and Ash right now. "Brock, have you seen Ash or Naruto?" Misty asked as she was worried about him and what was going on.
Brock just shook his head at this with passengers trying to make their way to the lifeboats and get off the ship before it was too late. "No, I don't know its total panic right now," Brock said, seeing the madness that was around him right now.
Just then, Naruto ran up to the three. "Hey, we need to leave this ship right now, ya' know!" Naruto cried out as he soon spotted Ash, who helped a little girl up that had tripped over as she ran to her mother.
"Come on, Ash, we've gotta go; this ship is sinking!" Misty cried at Ash, knowing they all needed to go.
Before they could say anything, another strong wave hit the ship. This one shook loose each one of the Poké Balls they had gone down the hall of the now doomed ship.
"Ah, oh no, our Pokémon, we need to save them!" Ash yelled out in fright and chased it down the hall, Pikachu, Naruto Sakura, Misty, and Brock following Ash. "Don't worry guys, I'll get them, you guys, just get to the lifeboats!" Ash yelled.
"Ash, don't we want to help, and we won't leave you," Misty called out after him; after all, Ash was her friend, and Clefairy was her Pokémon as well.
They all ran down the hall. Ash finally caught his Poké Ball, as did the others, as they all gave a smile as they grabbed hold of their Poké Balls.
"I got it," Ash said with a smile as he looked at his friends and knew that now was the time to leave this ship and fast.
Naruto smiled and looked at his friends and knew Ash was right; he didn't want to stay on the ship. "Good then, let's get going then before something bad happens," Naruto said which, was bad timing as they all were thrown to their left, into a nearby room, and were knocked unconscious.
That happened because a massive wave hit the ship and turned it over. The Captain and the Trainers made it to the life rafters and were afloat in the water, safe.
But not everyone was safe and accounted for now sinking to the bottom of the sea. Ash and his friends were all still trapped in it. But they were not alone as along with them was Team Rocket.
A/N Well, guys, I do hope that you all liked the chapter now. I did want this up last month, but sadly I was ill off and on at that time, something that I hated a lot as it has put me behind in my stories, but I hope that it stops, and I can get my other fics done.
Anyway, I hope you all like what I did as I changed up with Sakura trading her Pokémon away and not Ash. After all, Sakura and Naruto are still learning about the Pokemon world they now live in and have not been that well-told of how trading works. It was something I felt that's needed as well for her to grow.
Misty past will be told eventually to Ash and tell him that her parents are dead; remember, not even Naruto knows that she lost her parents; only Sakura knows this. However, even Sakura does not know how Misty's parents died and a little moment with Ash and Misty, which I hoped you liked in this chapter. I planned to add one with Naruto and Sakura, but I couldn't think of anything for this chapter.
Anyway, that will be it for this chapter. A lot more is coming in the next chapter as soon more Pokémon will show up and maybe new Pokémon for our heroes to catch as well, and no Pokémon list this time as I add it only if a new Pokémon gets captured/joined our heroes so till then, please review.
