chapter 11!

It was another day, and I was going to take izuru to the park. For some reason izuru was super happy and wanted to go even more badly than when I first took him there. It was strange to me, but I thought it was just because izuru is usually really shy and not very talkative, and now he's talking up a storm. I'm really not used to that.

"Come on daddy! Come on!" I sighed and buttoned up izuru's coat.

"Hold on, I haven't even put on your scarf yet!" I grabbed izuru's scarf off of the hat rack and wrapped it around his neck. He giggled and pulled on me to make me go with him. I let him pull me and off we walked to the park.

When we got there izuru ran over to the slides and I sat on an empty bench to watch him play. There were several other children playing too but I made sure to keep an eye on the ones near izuru. It was very cold out here at the park, and it almost seemed as though it was going to snow, but it was a little too early for snow. I rubbed my hands together and blew my hot breath on them, then looked back up to izuru but he was out of my sight and I couldn't see him. I waited patiently for him to come back into my line of sight but after a few minutes it didn't happen so I got up and looked around the playground.

I looked in the play structures, and up in the trees but I didn't see him, but then I remembered that he went to the slides, and that's where I found him under the slides, the only problem was that there was someone else with him. Another young child with lovely pink hair and cristel colored eyes was with izuru but that wasn't the problem, the problem was that the child was kissing izuru full on. I should have stopped then right then and there because the next thing shocked me even more than the first.

Izuru was kissing back!

Like, full on make out session!

And he liked it!

I pulled izuru away from the other little boy and picked him up. The other boy was confused and hadn't noticed that I had taken izuru away from him, but izuru noticed and tried to get back with the other boy.

"Izuru no you can't do that!" izuru's eyes began to water as I walked away from the child.

"Aiko no! Aiko chan! Aiko chan!" I kept walking and didn't stop until we got home. When we did get home, I put izuru on the couch and knelt in front of him.

"Izuru, what was that all about?" izuru gave me pouting face and crossed his arms.

"Aiko chan…"

"What about aiko chan?"

"I love 'I'm" I sighed and sat next to the pouty little baby.

"Izuru you don't even know what love is yet…" izuru frowned his brows and looked up to me.

"Yes I do! Fifi bear told me 'bout it!" I was taken aback by izuru's loud declaration.

"Oh? And what did he say?"

"She said that love is when you heart pound! And all you can do is smile!" I smiled knowingly at the statement.

Puppy love, I never thought izuru could have such a thing

"Do you really love aiko chan?" izuru nodded his head vigorously with his big purple eyes staring at me. I couldn't say no to that face and any other mother would agree that puppy love is something that you just have to go with, because it might become something beautiful.

"ok izuru I'll tell you what, introduce me to aiko chan next time we go back to the park, and tell him to introduce me to his mother ok?" izuru smiled a lovely smile than hugged me the tightest that he had ever done before.

"Thank you daddy!" I was about to hug him back but then I remembered…

"Oh! And no more kissing like that!" izuru pursed his lips but shrugged his shoulders and hugged me again. I hugged back this time, at that time I wondered just how long this puppy love was going to last, but I didn't think about it too much.

The next day I took izuru back to the park. There were a lot less children at the park today but that made it easier to find which parent was Aiko's. On one of the benches, was a beautiful pink haired woman who was crossing her arms trying to keep warm. I walked over to her and bent down in front of her.

"Can I sit with you?" the woman scooted her bag over to let me sit down. I did and I looked over to izuru who was sitting next to aiko chan on the steps of the jungle gym just chatting away.

"umm, I would like to ask you a question mam…" the woman looked over to me with lovely bright eyes.

"Yes?"

Is that your son over there?" I pointed to aiko chan and she looked to where I pointed then looked back to me and nodded her head.

"Yes, it is, his name is aiko, why do you ask?"

"I think your son is in love with my son…" the woman glared at me than pointed a finger at me.

"There is no way that's true! Your lying!" I swat dropped and scratched the back of my neck. I figured that she wouldn't believe me.

"That why don't you ask you son if it's the truth? I did the same with my son yesterday and he said that he loved your son, so why don't you ask him? It couldn't hurt right?" the woman reluctantly put her hand down and looked back over to her son, who was now smiling lovingly at Izuru.

"I bet it is nothing but a small case of puppy love!"
