Chapter 15: Captured Again

Hina laughed as she watched Moana try to stir the vessel. "How does this sound? I am Moana of Motunui. You will board my boat, sail across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Fiti. I am Moana of Motu... nui."

"You make it sound so rehearsed." Hina smiled before they both heard a clank from the middle of the boat. Hina reached over and blinked. "Hei-hei?!"

The chicken looked at her, Moana, and the ocean and began to scream loudly. "You're alright!" Moan tried to reassure the bird before it decided to walk straight into the water.

"Hei-hei. Hei-hei!" Moana grabbed the bird before setting it back down into the middle section of the boat, so it didn't float away again.

"That bird is missing something up top." Hina got up and tightened the rope holding the sail. Truth be told, she knew nothing about sailing, but they seemed to be doing fine. "So, what now?"

"We keep following the fish hook."

"Okay, great plan." Moana smiled before turning away. "So we should-" Hina felt a something slimy curl around her ankle. She froze when she revealed what it was. "Moana!"

Her niece tried to grab Hina, but she was pulled underwater.

"Hina!"

She heard a huge splash and then, out of the water rose that giant eel who tried to kidnap Hina the last time. "Now, I have you!"

"Vile thing!" Hina screamed, trying to get out of the eel's grip.

"Let her go!" Moana yelled.

"Try anything human, and you will never see the light of day."

"Moana!" Hina yelled, "Don't!" The eel took a breath and began to drag Hina away. "Find Maui! Save the island." Her aunt screamed before disappearing beneath the waves. Moana screamed Hina's name, but quickly grabbed the mass.

Hina was right. She needed to find Maui and save her aunt as quickly as possible.
