Hello! So, I'm just gonna up and say it, I realized a little late that the skip between Transformers 1 and 2 also skipped Sam's senior year and all that. I was going to go back and add it in, but this chapter has a pivotal moment in that would only make a senior year cool if I rewrote the pivotal moment earlier. Ain't nobody got time for that. Anyway, enjoy!

Angelic Reaper13: Glad you do!

A little after midday Kay walked outside, heading to the mailbox. Her feet were bare as she padded down and then back up the driveway calmly, glancing at the first letter. Upon entering the house she looked through the entire stack. Two envelopes stood out, one with the Johns-Hopkins school insignia and the other with the Harvard insignia. Kay screamed with joy and bolted out of the house, reaching the Witwicky house in less than a minute and fly tackling Sam from where he was walking towards the house with mail also in his hands.

"I got in!" she screamed as she rolled around hugging the boy.

"Got in where?" Sam demanded as he pried her off.

"Hopkins and Harvard!" Judy, who came outside to see what the commotion was, cheered and grabbed Kay, hugging her just as hard.

~Where?~ Bee asked, quite confused.

"They're two really good colleges," Kay told the Bot, hugging Judy. After a moment the woman began to lead her inside, both talking about which school she would choose. Sam stayed outside, holding the mail in his hands. He looked to his guardian when his holoform appeared, a look like he missed his only chance at something in his eyes. Sam smiled and walked over, placing a hand on the holoform's shoulder.

"Don't worry, bud. She won't leave for at least another month." With those parting words, he walked inside, leaving Bee to think them over.

Kay stared at her closet, angered. Bee walked in with a knock at the door only to slow and look between her and the miniature room.

"Is someone you're mad at hiding in there?" he asked. Kay pursed her lips.

"No. I'm just trying to decide what to pack." Bee's face fell slightly, but he recovered and walked over to sit beside Kay.

"Why? You aren't leaving until the end of the month." Kay sighed.

"I know, but I'd rather get a headstart than having to speed through it at the end of the summer." Bee glanced at her but couldn't keep his gaze on her, instead looking towards the floor. Kay noticed and turned to him. His blonde hair blocked part of his face as he leaned his elbows on his knees, clasping his hands together. "Is something wrong, Bee?" The mech glanced up slightly but his eyes once more flicked away.

"N-nothing," he said quietly. Kay stared a little longer then smirked mischievously, letting go of her knees. In one swift movement, she tackled Bee to the ground and began to tickle him. The young scout couldn't help but start laughing, his sides attacked mercilessly. "Stop!" he forced out. "Stop!"

"Then tell me what's wrong," Kay replied, easily straddling his lap as she continued to attack his sides.

"Fine, fine!" Kay stopped but continued to straddle Bee. She crossed her arms and continued to watch him, fixing her glasses.

"So?" she prodded. Bee's face fell slightly. He covered his face with his hands and mumbled his answer into them. Kay rolled her eyes and reached forward, pulling his hands away from his face and bringing them beside his head, effectively capturing him. "What was that?" she tried again. Bee turned his eyes away, ashamed.

"I don't want you to go," he said quietly, staring at the floorboards. Kay was in shock.

"What?" she asked, trying to process what he was saying. Bee sighed and pushed against Kay's hands, sitting up and moving her aside.

"It's nothing, just me being selfish." Kay quickly leapt to her feet and grabbed Bee's arm before he could leave.

"No, I mean why?" The words stopped Bee far better than the hand. He turned, his shining blue eyes connecting with Kay's. They showed anxiety and fear before they went towards the ground.

"Because I love you." Kay froze, her eyes wide and brain once more trying to wrap itself around the words Bee was trying to say. Bee, who was worried he said something wrong, turned and went to walk away. But Kay's grip was firm. Once more he turned, only this time he leaned back in surprise when he found Kay's lips on his. When she pulled back he pulled forward, reciprocating her earlier action.

"That was fun," Kay said happily, smiling wide as she lay in Bee's grip. Bee smiled back and rested his forehead against Kay's.

"That's one word for it," he said quietly, happiness radiating through all possible aspects.

Kay lay on her bed, staring at the ceiling as the dial tone of her phone rang, attempting to connect with the recipient. Finally, he answered.

"Yellow." Kay blinked and hesitated in surprise.

"You have become far too human, dear Jazz," she replied. She could see the Bot's large smile.

"Hey, lil lady! Long time, no talk."

"I know, sorry about that. But, the reason I'm calling is actually for a favor."

"Speak it." Kay laughed lightly then took a careful breath.

"Could you replace Bee in guardian duties for the Witwickys?"

"Why?" The answer was immediate and had a tone in it that Kay immediately picked up on.

"You know why," she answered back, blushing lightly. Jazz laughed.

"Yeah, we all pretty much do. The little Bumblebot has been unusually perky, even for him." Kay smiled.

"That's great. Can you take the job?" Jazz thought for a moment.

"Sure, Kay." Kay cheered and jumped to her feet, stepping into her shoes. She called her thanks to Jazz then hung up and bolted down the steps and towards the Witwicky's.

Sam and Mikaela sat on the porch, talking, and looked up when Kay slid to a stop in front of them. Sam glanced up at her broad smile and smiled as well.

"He said yes?"

"Yes!" she said, trying not to scream it out. Mikaela smiled as well, while Bee, who couldn't help his curiosity, popped up beside Kay.

"Who said yes to what?" he asked. He fell back a step when Kay jumped on him and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck.

"Jazz said he would take your place so you could come with me for these first years of college!" His eyes widened in surprise before he smiled brightly and planted a kiss on Kay's lips.

"Holy crap," Kay breathed as Bee slowed. Johns-Hopkins' campus loomed ahead, showing itself to be a bit larger then Kay expected. Anxiety flickered to life within her and she grasped the steering wheel tighter. The seatbelt around her gave a reassuring squeeze.

"Too far to back down," echoed a song from the radio. Kay only smiled slightly.

After checking in and getting both her schedule and keys to her room Kay and Bee ended up carrying her two bags down the hall and towards her dorm room. The two stopped outside of the room for a second, Kay taking a quick breath, before she pushed it open. A girl already inside looked up from where she was laying on her bed and reading a magazine and smiled.

"Hey, you must be my new roomie!" She jumped to her feet and held out a hand. "Neya Thompson." Kay shook it, smiling at the friendliness the girl radiated.

"Kaytlen Genesis, though everyone calls me Kay." I then motioned towards Bee. "This is my boyfriend, Ben. He's gonna be staying at a nearby apartment while I go through school." Bee smiled at Neya and waved from where his hand rested under the bag. Neya waved back.

"Well, sorry for choosing the bed before you got here, but I was way early," she said, motioning towards the only open bed. Kay shrugged.

"It's fine. I don't care, anyway." She set her bags on the bed and began to unpack, Bee helping until he reached the more private part of her luggage. "Go settle in now," she urged, nudging him towards the door. "I'll be fine." Neya looked up in time for Kay to jump when Bee snuck a kiss in. He smirked as he pulled back while Kay just whacked him on the shoulder. "Shoo." He laughed, waved towards Neya with a happy smile, then turned and left the room. Kay continued to unpack but after a minute of silence, she turned towards Neya to see her staring at the door, a distant yet pained look in her eye.

"Neya?" Kay said carefully. Neya blinked and jumped lightly, then wiped at her eyes, sitting up.

"Hm?"

"Are you alright?" Neya glanced at her but quickly averted her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Kay doubted it but let it go, for now.

Kay and Neya jumped at the same time when a knock came at the door. Kay glanced at the clock, saw it was 11 at night, and grew very confused. She stood from where she and Neya were watching a movie together, it was a Friday night, and went to the door. Upon opening it she gaped.

A man with a yellow color scheme, a white shirt and piercing blue eyes the only other colors, stood in front of her. What really got her was the fact that the eyes seemed to glow and the edge of a pair of dog tags shown from under his shirt with the corner of the Autobot symbol peeking at her.

"Which Bot are you?" she breathed out, knowing only a Bot would be able to hear. His eyes widening minutely confirmed it.

"Who is it?" Neya called out. When she walked to the door she froze, her eyes wide. Kay looked between the two, smiled, and stepped out of the way. Immediately Neya ran forward and jumped on the man, hugging him close. He hugged back. Kay went to leave them alone but heard more footsteps and snuck past them, seeing Bee. She smiled at him and hugged him as he walked up behind the man.

"Sunny?!" he whisper-shouted. 'Sunny' spun around, Neya squealing lightly as she was still in his arms, then seemed to fight between smiling and scowling.

"Don't call me that, Bee," he said plainly. Neya looked up, seeming to have no intention of letting go of 'Sunny', and gaped.

"Should have guessed," she finally said. Kay looked up, raised an eyebrow, then shoved Bee and Sunny into the room.

"Let's get some privacy before the reunions," she said. When the door was shut she let out her own squeal as the floor was replaced with arms behind her knees and back. Quickly she clamped onto Bee, who laughed and pecked her forehead. The two men stood there while the introductions commenced. Bee started.

"Kay, this is Sunstreaker, twin to Sideswipe." Kay perked up slightly.

"Isn't he the new frontliner who landed recently?" she asked. Bee nodded.

"Neya, this is Bumblebee, the little scout of the group."

"I'm not that little!" Bee immediately protested. Streaker shrugged, a small smirk on his face.

"But you are the youngest." Bee rolled his eyes which then landed on the couch.

"Oh, aperture of laziness!" he said with excitement. Kay laughed before Bee sat down roughly, snuggling Kay close. Streaker followed suit, with Neya resting against his chest. The boys fell asleep almost immediately.

"So you're in a relationship with Streaker?" Kay whispered. Neya nodded.

"I found him on the side of the road, a broken down Lambo with a buttload of dust and dirt. I brought him in, cleaned and fixed him up, then filled up his tank. He burned through it pretty quickly, but he had enough energy to tell me where some energon was. So I went and got it and while he was actually awake we grew close and voila." Kay was smiling throughout the entire story.

"That's a cute story. Did he disappear though, or leave for a while?" Neya saddened slightly.

"He disappeared, about a month ago. No note, no contact. I thought he was dead." Kay waited patiently as she composed herself, noticing the glint of tears in the TV light. "But now he's back." She smiled as Streaker shifted slightly and we both had to slap a hand over our mouths as both mechs snored simultaneously. "So what's your story?" Kay glanced at Bee's peaceful face.

"You remember Mission City?" she asked, turning back to Neya. Neya nodded, but confusedly.

"The terrorist attack?" Kay shook her head.

"It wasn't a terrorist attack. It was these guys," she pointed at Bee, "fighting the Cons for the AllSpark." And so Kay explained how she met Bee, from the day Sam had bought him and she got that strange feeling about him to the end of the Mission City battle.

"Yours is a more complicated story," Neya whispered amusedly. Kay nodded in definite agreement.

"You two talk a lot," Streaker rumbled quietly, resting a cheek on Neya's head.

"You've been listening?" she asked incredulously.

"We both have," Bee replied for him. Kay found his cheek on her head as well.

"Conversations are supposed to be private," Kay said quietly. Bee chuckled.

"Just go to sleep you two." The girls relented and fell asleep, the TV still playing quietly.

Kay glanced up from her overload of work as Bee shuffled into the room, back early from his trip to see Sam, with his shoulders hunched and head down. She turned back to it, sighed, then shut the advanced math and stood up. Her arms wrapped around Bee's neck and she leaned into his chest, breathing in his familiar scent.

"What's wrong?" she asked him as he wrapped his own arms around her.

"Sam didn't want me to take him to college," he whined. Kay chuckled and pecked his cheek only for him to twist and capture her lips in his own. He pulled her closer as the kiss deepened and didn't let go, even after they broke apart.

"I have homework, Bee," she stated. Bee nuzzled into Kay's neck, sending goosebumps off.

"I don't care," he mumbled. Kay laughed again then let go of Bee's neck and spun around, dragging him back to the desk. Then she had him sit down and sat on his lap before finally returning to the work. "Why do you have to do this?" he asked, looking at the finished pile. "I thought this is only your first year, not your second."

"I'm trying to finish a five-year degree in four years, remember?" Bee smirked then leaned forward and nipped Kay's neck. She tensed as light heat filled her stomach and goosebumps formed. "Bee, I can't work if you do that," she complained. He only wrapped his arms around her elbows, trapping her and pulling her back.

"Then don't." Kay sighed but was still smiling. When she turned towards Bee, however, she kept quiet as his eyes were dim and she saw the distant look in them. When they returned his grip tightened protectively around her.

"We need to go get Sam." Kay was surprised, to say the least.

"Why? What happened?" Kay stood with Bee before he began out the room, dragging her with him.

"The Decepticons got the AllSpark shard." Kay was shocked.

"How?" was all she could force out. Bee just stayed quiet as he continued outside and his alt rumbled to life, idling in place. She stopped though when she saw Neya and ran over to the girl.

"Kay?" Neya asked confused. "I thought you were working on homework?"

"Neya, I need to go get my cousin. Can you explain to my teachers that there was a family emergency?" She nodded, a bit dazed. Kay then thought of something. "And stay near Sunstreaker at all times. I think something bad is going to happen." With that, she ran back to Bee and slipped into the driver's seat. He shifted into reverse and gunned it out of the parking lot.
