Alrighty, another chapter! We're really getting into the meat of RotF, now, and boy, does that movie just jump around without really explaining things. I tried my darndest to try and fill holes in that made sense and keep the story going. Anyway, hope you all enjoy!

Kay's head hit the window roughly a little while later, effectively waking her. Bee chirped out an apology while racing through streets, Leo blabbering something about being arrested and Simmons demanding Bee get off the streets. The loud sound of sirens was permeating through the air, Kay glancing backwards to see three cop cars right on the twins' tails.

"Kay?" Sam asked, looking towards her. Kay nodded once, sending out a quick flare of her power; just enough to surround Bee and the twins.

"What is this?" Leo asked, looking out the window. "Are we going super fast all of a sudden?"

"Technically," Kay responded, the single word all her still foggy mind allowing her. Bee quickly spun into an alley, depositing all of his passengers. "Ten seconds," Kay warned, feeling her power annoyedly tugging against her. Bee and the twins transformed, leaping onto a wall while Mikaela tossed a head scarf at Kay. She got it wrapped around her head just as time resumed but she had no control over the twins. Skids' grip failed, the small Bot beginning to tumble with the start of a shout. Bee grabbed at his foot with an annoyed grumble, holding tighter to the crumbling wall. Mikaela and Kay, clad in the head scarves, watched the police cars fly past their turn.

"This is what's called blending in like a ninja," Mudflap stated, smiling to himself.

"Shut up or I'll blend my fist in your face." Kay snorted beside Mikaela while the other woman rolled her eyes lightly.

"They're gone," Mikaela announced, standing carefully.

"I gotta make the call to Lennox-" Sam began.

"You're on the Worldwide Wanted List. Try calling one base, they'll track you here in seconds. CIA is all over this place!" Simmons interrupted with common sense.

"You're gonna call." The ex-special agent blinked, a little taken aback.

"Okay," he finally managed with a nod. "That's a good idea." He continued to mutter things as they all took off, Kay flashing a smile towards Bee before vanishing from his line of sight.

"Alright, we need a lookout," Sam said, taking the scarf from Mikaela and shoving it into Leo's hands. "Keep an eye on him, yeah?" he added towards Kay. The woman rose an eyebrow but nodded with a tiny laugh.

"Yes, sir, Commander Witwicky." Sam rolled his eyes, splitting off with Simmons and Mikaela. Kay took off down the opposite end, wrapping the tail end of fabric around her face to keep only her eyes visible. Even then she gave a small mental command, the world dimming as her glasses became dark shades.

"What the crap?" Leo demanded. "Seriously, you keep having superpowers!"

"Cybertronian tech," Kay shot back, sitting on a bench and keeping her gaze towards the end of the road. Leo stood just beside her.

"Any other Cybertronian tech? Any other secrets?" Kay rose a finger, turning away from the road for a moment to point at Leo.

"They're not secrets, you've just never asked. And yes. This bracelet." She wiggled her wrist for her sweater to bunch downwards, revealing the silver band for a split second. She turned back just in time for a police car to pause at the end of the road, it's driver looking down.

Kay calmly stood, grabbing Leo's arm roughly as he began to freak out. She silenced him with a quick 'sh' and pressed forward, towards a bend in the road. As soon as they were out of sight she booked it, Leo right on her heels.

They reached the others in a few seconds, Sam raising a hand as he didn't recognize either.

"It's us," Kay said with a pull on the fabric to reveal her face. "The cops are coming, we've got to go!" As she spoke sirens began to fill the air, coming from the way they had just come. Leo took off back towards the Bots, Kay and everyone else close behind. They were already transformed and waiting, both of Bee's doors open. Leo and Kay leapt in, jumping out of the way for Mikaela. As soon as everyone was in Bee booked it, racing out of the city in a confusing path.

"Go, Bee, go!" Sam shouted, staring at the cop cars rapidly being lost behind the twins. Kay held tight to the seat in front of her but was still smiling from exhilaration. Bee burst out of the city, racing away at high speed. A glance out the window revealed the cops gone, lost in the maze of turns, with the twins easily keeping pace. Somehow.

"That was awesome!" Kay exclaimed. Leo shot her a wide-eyed look while Mikaela let out a breathless laugh.

"You're insane," Leo stated. Kay flashed him a smile.

"Thanks for noticing!"

"Okay, let's go over it again," Sam said after another while of silence. "When the dawn alights the Dagger's Tip the Three Kings…"

"...will reveal the doorway," Simmons finished. "You know what it means?"

"No, what does it mean?"

"I have no idea. Anyone else?" Kay and Mikaela shook their heads while Leo pointed to a nearing structure.

"Oh my God, oh my God. Checkpoint. Checkpoint. I don't have my passport!"

"You think any of us have our passports?" Kay shot back. Bee came to a careful stop, a stern voice calling out for the missing passports. Kay carefully leaned around, watching the Egyptian soldiers as they inspected the vehicle. She jumped when something brushed against her leg, Wheelie appearing from the floor.

"How long have you been there?" she asked, having forgotten about the Cybertronian.

"Long time," he muttered, clearly annoyed.

"They got cameras at the top," Sam announced quietly, glancing out the window. Sure enough there sat a single security camera on each side of Bee, staring down into the driver and passenger windows.

"All right, chill. This is espionage now. I can handle it," Simmons said quietly. "These are my people. I'm one thirty-sixth Arab." Kay blinked twice, staring at the back of Simmons' head with disbelief.

"Does that really matter right now?" He didn't answer, everyone staring forward as a man who was treated as a superior stepped forward, a deep scowl over his features. He was also incredibly short, easily under five feet.

"Great, a freakin' Munchkin," Wheelie stated, standing on the console between the two front seats. "Little people are mean. Tell him he's tall." They continued to sit in silence, Kay watching as the little soldier dragged his finger along the front of Bee. She could practically feel his discomfort.

"The Dagger's Tip, right?" Simmons called out, smiling brightly at the man. The soldier simply glared back. "Egypt, Jordan. We want to go there." The man nodded once but clearly did not have a strong understanding of English. "Me and my family. This is my family. This is my son," Simmons wrapped an arm around Sam, "my other son, my daughters." Mikaela and Kay flashed the sweetest smiles they could. "We're tourists, from New York." The man very suddenly perked up, his eyes widening and a smile splitting his face.

"New York?" he asked excitedly.

"Yes. Yes!" The man pointed down the roadway.

"Fifty kilometers!" he said happily, stepping aside. The gate opened with a small creak.

"You look like the guy that runs my falafel stand. Thank you very much! I knew I knew you from somewhere!" The man's parting call of, "Go Yankees!" echoed after them as Bee quickly sped up, the twins close behind. Everyone let out large sighs, sinking back into their seats.

"My gosh, New York fixes everything," Kay murmured. Everyone else let out still stressed laughs.

"Land of dreams," Sam added. The fifty kilometers, while taking another 40 minutes, was passed in silence, even Wheelie calmly sitting on the floor between Mikaela's legs.

Bee stopped just outside of a large city, a pyramid relatively close with a temple at its base. Simmons opened his map, pointing towards the temple.

"Coordinates lead that way. Temple?"

"Temple," Sam confirmed. Everyone climbed out, the Bots transforming after the hours of driving. Bee stretched lightly, his doorwings especially moving their full range of motion, while the twins began forward and towards the temple. Everyone had already taken off at a run, Kay an impressive distance behind.

"How did they- okay!" She was cut off in the sudden exclamation as Bee scooped her upwards and placed her carefully on his shoulder, humming smugly to himself through his still acting up voice box. "Boy, I'll fight you," Kay stated before she could stop herself, though she still smiled in amusement at the words.

~I'd like to see you try,~ Bee shot back as he climbed a small ledge with the twins, everyone else sprinting forwards.

"Undercover, yo," Skids announced, crouching low as he stepped forward. "You gotta blend in wit' yo surroundings, you know, be part of the landscape." Bee marched past him loudly, swiping at him with his hand and sending him tumbling to the ground with a grunt. Kay placed a hand over her mouth to stifle her giggles, instead looking to the boarded-up doors Sam was pushing against. Carefully she jumped from Bee's shoulder, the Bot letting out a small indignant sound as she caught herself with her power. She patted Bee's leg twice and flashed him a bright smile while still jogging to join Sam.

"I think aliens built that," Simmons was muttering to himself, pointing towards the pyramid throwing shadows over the group. Sam looked to Kay and nodded, the two taking a step back and shouldering the doors as one. The doors burst open together but were large enough that they slowed down considerably, simply bumping into the wall with soft sounds. "Yeah, yeah. Come on, move it, move it!" Kay burst into the building with everyone behind her, immediately beginning to look around while Sam spoke to Bee about guarding and a low profile. He shut the doors behind himself and walked towards our group.

"Okay, brainstorm session, anyone have anything?" Silence was his response, Kay only moving to pull her glasses off and carefully clean the lenses.

"What are the Three Kings?" Leo asked. "I mean, obviously we have to wait for dawn, but getting a headstart? Asking the right questions?" Simmons nodded.

"Yeah, good idea, problem is, we're absolutely crap out of luck. No phones to the internet, Bots have to guard us, we're stuck with our own minds. Anyone take Egyptology?" Kay shook her head while Leo scoffed.

"Only had a grand total of two days of classes, okay?" Mikaela walked over to Sam and grabbed his hand.

"So, what? We just hang out?" she asked quietly. Sam shrugged.

"Yeah. I guess so." Soon they all had something set up, Kay picking a careful corner and pulling her sweater close to get in another nap. It felt like she simply closed her eyes for a few moments, but when she next opened them the sun was lower in the sky, struggling to stream in through cracks in the door. Sam and Mikaela were cuddling nearby and Leo, Simmons, and Wheelie were talking in low voices, the sounds mixing together in the echoes of the building.

Kay carefully crawled over to Sam and Mikaela, resting against Sam's open shoulder.

"A little over a year ago you were trying to sell your grandfather's stuff in class," Kay said quietly with a small laugh. Sam echoed that laugh.

"A year before that you were still climbing in through my window at night to escape your mom. And failing." Kay groaned lightly, placing a hand over her face while Mikaela took a turn to laugh.

"Wait, really?"

"Man, those are some painful memories," Kay reminisced. "Remember that time I fell right into one of Judy's bushes?" Sam really laughed then.

"Oh, God, I thought she was actually going to kill you!"

"Good thing she recognized me when she did! That bat was, like, three inches from my face!" The three were all laughing together, Simmons glancing up with a harsh 'sh.' Kay waved him off.

"You aren't scary, Simmons!" she called to him, smiling wide. He glared back, but there was something else, something that he hadn't spoken but Kay had subconsciously noticed. He was sorry.

More time passed. Bee ended up traveling into the city and using his holoform and some cash Kay found in her pants to get some food for the night. For being an alien robot he ended up getting decent food, though it was mainly an assortment of chips and water. Even then it was an adventure guessing the flavors from the Arab labels.

Night fell next. Leo, Simmons, and Sam took turns trying to start a fire, failing miserably every time. Kay looked to Mikaela, Mikaela raising an eyebrow in a silent question. Kay bowed and motioned towards the barrel, watching with a highly amused smile as Mikaela got the fire going first try. The boys all rolled their eyes, Simmons lighting a stick on fire and taking it down towards the barrel by himself and Leo. Bee let out a soft beep, Kay glancing at him with a smile before carefully making her way down to him. His holoform popped up as she neared, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her in for a kiss. Kay giggled into the kiss but wrapped her own arms around him, sighing happily when he pulled away.

"You tired from all that driving?" she asked.

"Tired of being stuck in my alt," he responded, skillfully shifting to gather Kay in his arms and sit on his own hood with Kay against him. She let out an exaggerated sigh but still snuggled into the grip of the holoform, noticing the slight heat.

"Experimental technology my butt," she stated, feeling the solidity of the form. Bee smiled.

"But it is experimental."

"I'm laying on top of a mental projection of you made purely of light that is only emitting human amounts of heat." Kay turned to stare straight into his bright blue eyes. "This is not experimental." In response Bee leaned downwards, capturing Kay's lips in a kiss. "Also, if I may, you're addicted," she stated after he pulled back again. "May need to stage an intervention here." Bee smiled smugly, not saying anything for the next long while and simply holding Kay tight. She was close to her third nap when Sam's voice suddenly echoed loudly from the building, accompanied by his and Mikaela's hurried steps. Kay sighed, reached up to kiss Bee on the cheek, then leapt down and ran into the building and up the steps, just behind Leo.

"Okay, you see those three stars?" Sam was saying, pointing upwards towards the slowly lightening sky. An electronic alarm was sounding somewhere in the distance, a wake-up call. "You see how the last one touches the horizon? That's Orion's Belt, but it's also called the Three Kings. And the reason for that is the three Egyptian kings who built the pyramids of Giza built them to mirror the stars, so it's like an arrow staring us straight in the face." Kay stared at Sam.

"Since when did you know all this?"

"Since I read my astronomy textbook in four seconds flat," he responded, not even fully turning to her.

"They all point due east, towards Jordan," Simmons observed. "The mountains of Petra. Alright everyone, pack up, we're heading out!" Everyone scrambled to gather their measly yet scattered belongings. Kay extinguished the fires easily, running out and hopping into Bee where he sat with his doors open, holoform gone.

"Man, I really hope this driving calms down soon," Kay murmured quietly, stretching her legs just before Leo leapt in beside her. Once everyone was piled in Bee took off, joining the nearest roadway and accelerating even more. The sun was steadily climbing upwards, basking their entire surroundings in a deep orange glow.
