A/N: This was written for a prompt I received on my roleplay account for Devon.
Devon turned onto her side to watch him get ready for bed. She smiled as he looked up at her, peaking at her through his curls. "No watch tonight?"
"Nope. You got me all to yourself, Adair. Think you can stand it?" John pulled off his trousers and eased under the covers.
"Maybe once we get the housing up, we won't have to have watch duty at all," she curled into his side and laid her head on his shoulder.
She looked up at him as he offered her a kiss which she readily accepted. It wasn't a long kiss, but it was enough to warm her down to her toes. She could feel his fingers combing through her hair and closed her eyes to enjoy his touch. Sharing a bed was almost her favorite thing of them being together. She had always hated sleeping alone.
"Wouldn't that be nice," he admitted. He could feel her protruding belly pressed into his side and felt the baby kick. "I love you, Devon."
"I love you, John. Very much." She snuggled into his body and felt herself drifting off toward sleep.
