Levi x Kagome

Note: This takes place after Season Two for Attack on Titan, so beware some potential spoilers.

"Enjoy your nap, Princess?"

Her brow furrowed gently, the voice penetrating deep into her conscience and reminding her of something she had forgotten. It was the sharp pain that came next that startled her completely awake, her hand flying up to hold onto the side of her head, as her dark blue eyes snapped up to find Captain Levi standing over her. "C-Captain, I…." she sputtered. Wait... had he kicked her?!

Levi Ackerman's cool gray eyes narrowed further.

The nerve of this man! She already had to face the humiliation of everyone in the Survey Corps staring at her while she rode on his horse with him, shaking her every time she started to nod off from sheer exhaustion. Not to mention the rumors she heard amongst the 104th Cadet recruits about how he must be keeping her awake throughout the night wherever they happened to camp, considering Commander Erwin Smith had made it quite clear that she was to remain within Levi's eyesight at all times.

Huffing with frustration, Higurashi Kagome snapped, "I'm sorry that I'm human like the rest of you, despite what anyone might think!" She looked away from him then, sinking down a little further into the hot spring that she had happened across. Her cheeks turned slightly red, realizing that her breasts had been bobbing against the surface of the water, but she refused to be moved. She was absolutely filthy, and… it was not like this was the first time the squad leader had seen her without her clothes on.

He had found her nearly naked in the first place, her clothing torn to shreds by the demon that had chased her down the well into this time period. Then there was the time he barged into the women's shower, demanding that she hurry the fuck up.

It was really no wonder everyone thought they were… doing stuff.

"Is this what you call surveying the area?"

"I did that!" she pouted. He was only trying to guilt her into leaving the hot spring and returning to camp, and she was not buying it one bit. It was late enough now that any of the Titans within the surrounding area should have slowed to a stop from the lack of sunlight, and so her barrier was not necessary at the moment. He would probably argue that a Titan Shifter could still find her without it, but she was willing to take that risk for such a brief luxury.

Besides, she would sense anything long before it came along. Titan Shifters radiated against her senses like the northern star, guiding her path straight to them if she so desired. Her powers might be useless against them otherwise, given that they were technically human, but the power they contained beneath their skin called to her on an instinctive level. She was certain she had the advantage, considering the extensive tests Hange had insisted on performing between her and Eren Jaeger to determine if Titans Shifters shared a similar reaction toward her holy energy that had numerous negative results.

The only thing that might be concerning would be an Abnormal. They were attracted to her like a moth to a flame, and she had no desire to find out exactly what one of them might do to her if she were ever caught. She was able to deter them with her barrier when it was active, but whatever part of them might have been human was so muddled and twisted that it was like they were sharks drifting in the shadows.

But… the three to four hours she got each night was beginning to drain her. She did not understand how Levi remained alert on so little rest, especially when he often passed out in a chair without even removing his body harness.

"Ack!" Kagome startled suddenly, pain bringing her back to the situation at hand.

Levi pulled on the strands of hair close to her skull, forcing her head back so that she was staring directly up at him. "Daydreaming now, Princess?" he asked. His face remained impassive, only the corner of his lip twitching ever so slightly, and it was obvious he was enjoying the way her eyes suddenly blazed with fury at the treatment.

Feeling her back arch with the rough pull, Kagome hissed through her teeth. Her face was flaming, knowing that the man was getting a bird's eye view of her breasts. "I'm not getting out until I'm clean, Captain!" she snapped. Confusion coursed through her at the sudden heat that pooled in her stomach with the next sharp tug, and she was quick to satisfy him to make him stop. "I'll happily renew the barrier if you just let go, okay!"

He did not release her immediately, despite the declaration. She knew damned well that he would not relent until he was positive the scouting regiment was protected and hidden from any potential threat while inside Titan infested territory. He reflected her glare back at her, pulling harder. "I'll let you go after you put the barrier back up, bitch."

"Bastard!" she spat.

Levi could not personally sense the barrier that she was capable of manifesting, but he recognized the way her brow creased with concentration after a moment. Her glare softened then, her eyes taking on an otherworldly pink glow as the protection formed around them. It was the only indication he truly trusted. She blinked away the odd coloration after a few seconds, and then her glare returned with full force. "Good," he said.

Pulling her head away from him when his fingers loosened, Kagome huffed, "You don't have to be so rough all the time." She did not want anyone to die as much as the next person. She had felt helpless when she discovered that her holy energy had no effect on Titans physically, watching in devastation from Levi's arms as people were devoured the first time she had seen them in the flesh. She would not let anyone else die if she could help it, and while her barrier did little more than mask their presence, allowing them to move freely without notice, she had been happy to discover that she could do something to protect the people around her.

Even if she wanted to pass out every other second, it was worth it.

The sound of a buckle unlocking drew her attention away from the gentle ripples of the hot spring, and she felt her face immediately begin to blaze with newfound heat when she came to the realization that the man standing above her was indeed removing his body harness. The cravat around his neck went next, before his hands started making quick work of the buttons securing his shirt in place. He did not even bother to spare her a glance, as he shrugged both the jacket and shirt off with ease, allowing them to drop on top of her own pile of clothes behind him. It was when he moved to unbutton his pants, easily stepping out of his boots as he did so, that she finally sputtered and snapped her head in the opposite direction.

"What are you doing?!" The blush on her cheeks darkened even as the question left her mouth, because she knew what he was doing and it was dumb to ask. There was a faint little voice in the back of her head chanting for her not to look, even as she snuck a quick peek from under her lashes when he knelt nearby to step into the spring, and she did not understand the sudden urge she had to squirm with the eye full she was privileged to.

Levi merely snorted, saying, "Do you think you're the only one in need of a fucking bath, brat? Might as well enjoy the luxury while I'm allowing you to."

"B-b-but..!" Kagome knew she was doing a very impressive imitation of a fish in that moment, trying desperately to keep her gaze locked onto a tree in the opposite direction. Her arms wrapped around her breasts, as she slowly sank into the spring a little further. "This is highly inappropriate, Captain!"

"What's the matter?" Levi's lip tilted up into a smirk, watching the way the woman kept trying to keep herself from peeking in his direction. "Do you want to fuck me or something?"

"W-what?" Kagome could have sworn she felt her heart leap into her throat in that moment, as she snapped her eyes toward him. He was leaning casually against the side of the spring, the water already having settled and his body only hidden by the faint mist rising from the water's surface. His eyebrow cocked upward at her sudden attention, obviously amused, and she quickly returned her gaze to the distant treeline with a small sound of humiliation.

The bastard had said that on purpose to mess with her.

"Are you fucking stupid or just naive?" There was only a faint sploosh as the water moved around them, before Levi's hand settled onto the edge of the spring in her line of sight. Her dark blue eyes immediately snapped up to search his cool gray stare, confusion and desire swirling in their depths. He grabbed her chin when she looked like she was going to begin questioning what exactly he was doing again, as he asked, "Do you want to fuck me?"

"I… I…!" Kagome felt her mouth open and close repeatedly, feeling desire pierce through her with full force having the Captain so close. She could not deny that she found him attractive. He might be a jerk, sure, but at least he was mostly only doing it for the sake of humanity. But the sudden heat pooling deep in her stomach and between her thighs was foreign, and she just wished that he would back up a little so she could breathe properly. "Uh…!"

Levi snaked an arm around her waist, pulling her hips flush against him. He was barely an inch away from claiming her lips and giving her what she so clearly wanted, as her eyes became the size of saucers. She almost looked like she was ready to jump out of her skin with the sudden proximity. "What?" He brushed his lips against her own, feeling her gasp against his mouth. "Are you a virgin?"

"I… I, uh!" Kagome felt panic begin to set in with that simple question. She… she could feel his… his…! He was so close, and she… she…!

Oh god, she could not breathe!

Her response seemed to confirm the question well enough for him, though, as Levi quickly closed the distance, slanting his mouth across her own and devouring her. His hand that had been bracing him against the edge of the spring locked into the hair at the base of her neck, tugging sharply and causing her to open her mouth with a cry. His tongue brushed against hers then, attempting to coax her into tangling the appendage with his own in the space between them.

Oh god, he was…! It felt so good, and she could not…!

Oh… god…!

It was the breathless little "Eep!" she released when he pulled her leg up around his waist, allowing him to press closer between her thighs, that alerted him to some kind of problem. Levi felt her slump against him immediately after, her entire body going limp in his arms, as he was left to stare down at her in disbelief. The woman had fainted on him. He scowled, tempted to shake her awake like he had done so many times before while on horseback, as he muttered, "Fucking brat."
