The other Z Fighters had managed to recover, looking on as Gohan and Kyuuri stared down Beerus.
"Well, aren't you going to go fetch your Wish Orbs or are we just wasting time?" the Destroyer God asked.
"Just trying to make myself believe you're not going to destroy the Earth while I'm gone." Gohan retorted.
"You have my word." Beerus smirked.
"Fine." Gohan said with a nod. "Kyuuri, make sure he doesn't try anything while I'm gone." the half-Saiyan said as he flew away.
"Hm, what does he expect you to do in the case I do decide to destroy this world in his absence?" Beerus said with a malicious grin.
"Lord Beerus." Whis called from the Sushi cart. "That would hardly be fair, you did give your word."
"That is true, you know, you should thank Whis for being my voice of reason." Beerus said.
"I hardly think reason is your strong suit." Kyuuri replied.
Beerus' brow furrowed at her comment, eyes meeting the Saiyan girl's. "I should destroy you just for that comment."
Kyuuri turned towards the rest of the Z Fighters, seeing Piccolo, Android 18 and Tien taking up fighting positions once more.
"But, I gave my word I'd behave myself while your..." Beerus trailed off.
"Husband." Kyuuri replied, unamused.
"Ah yes, while your husband gathers the Wish Orbs." the Destroyer responded.
Kyuuri didn't answer, staying silent while she prayed to the Kais that Gohan would return soon.
"Hm, it's getting quite...boring waiting for him to return." Beerus mused, his eyes sweeping across the the Z Fighters and their friends and family. "You!" Beerus shouted, pointing a clawed finger at Oolong.
"Whaaaa?! Is he pointing at me?" the small bipedal Pig exclaimed.
"Sure looks like it." Yamcha answered.
"How would you like a chance to save the Earth?" Beerus said with a smirk.
"Oh no, I'm fine...I think I'll just sit this one out over here." Oolong said with a nervous laugh.
"Him? Save the Earth...how?" Ox King asked.
"A simple game of rock, paper scissors...how about it, sound good?" Beerus asked.
"Come on, man, you could end this right here and now." Yamcha said as he knelt down to Oolong's level.
"Gaaaah, fine." Oolong groaned.
"Alright, shall we?" Beerus asked, taking a step forward.
"Lord Beerus, make sure not to get carried away this time." Whis said as he strolled up the scene.
"This time?" Kyuuri asked.
"His games of rock, paper, scissors get quite heated sometimes." the God's attendant replied.
"Quiet, Whis! I'm trying to concentrate." Beerus said.
"I...I think I'm just going to take a moment to strategize." Oolong said nervously as he turned his back to the God of Destruction.
"Very well, I'll allow it." Beerus replied.
"I'm telling you, just throw scissors." Yamcha advised.
"What? Why?" Oolong asked.
"Because, you're a Pig, right?" Yamcha asked.
"Yeah, what's your point?" Oolong replied.
"Pigs usually have hooves instead of hands, so he probably thinks you're can only throw rock, so he'll throw paper!" Yamcha said excitedly.
"Yeah, gotta admit, that kinda makes sense." Oolong responded.
"Any day now!" Beerus called out.
"Alright, I'm ready." Oolong said confidently as he strode forward to meet Beerus.
"You seem quite confident, I assume your little planning session went well." the Destroyer remarked.
"Let's just get this over with." Oolong replied.
The two stood within half a meter of the other, locking eyes for a brief moment before bringing up their left hands and laying them flat while raising their right hands and making fists.
"Rock, paper, scissors!" they both shouted in unison, bringing their hands up and down with every word before both throwing their final gesture, Oolong looking on in horror as Beerus smirked.
"Well, rock beats scissors, looks like you lose." Beerus said, his purple aura rising up around him.
"We had a deal!" Kyuuri called out.
"He's the God of Destruction, I doubt deals with mortals mean much to him." Vegeta growled.
"Can't you do something?" Kyuuri called to Whis.
"When Lord Beerus has made up his mind I'm afraid it's hard to change it." the God's attendant replied melancholically.

Meanwhile
"I got it." Trunks said, holding up the Seven Star Ball.
"Alright, that just leaves us with the two star and five star balls." Gohan said.
Goten scoured the ground around the wreckage of the Castle, Beerus' fight with the Z Fighters having destroyed most of the prizes, the Dragonballs being lost among the debris.
"I think I've got one!" Goten called out, moving a large chunk of masonry aside to reach the two star ball.
"Great! Trunks, you find the five star ball yet? We're kind of in a time crunch here." the older half-Saiyan called out.
"Not just yet." the boy answered.
Goten looked up at his friend and back to the Dragonball in his hand, narrowing his eyes as he saw a reflection in it.
"Hey, it's the monkey again!" Goten called out.
"Oh, hey Mai." Trunks said as he levitated down to the ground.
"You guys better leave while you can, things might get pretty ugly here." Gohan added.
"We came to return this." Pilaf said begrudgingly.
The half-Saiyans looked on as Mai held out the five star ball. "We...may have taken this one too."
"It was her idea to return it." Shu added.
"Wow, thanks Mai, I guess you knew we needed this, huh?" Trunks said.
"You kids seriously shouldn't mess with these." Gohan said sternly, taking the Dragonball.
"Well, at least we returned them." Mai said, nodding her head to the side.
Just then Gohan, Goten and Trunks felt multiple power levels rising outside, indicating something was happening.
"We have to go!" Gohan called out, taking off out of the room, Goten close behind.
Trunks made to follow, giving Mai one last glance before heading off.
"Are you really falling for that kid or something?" Pilaf asked.
"Shut up, of course not." Mai replied, turning defiantly towards the wall.
oOo
"I've waited long enough, looks like time's up!" Beerus said, charging a ki blast in his hand.
"Wait!" Gohan shouted while he, Trunks and Goten arrived with all seven Dragonballs.
"Looks like he didn't run away after all." Beerus smirked.
"My Gohan is no coward." Kyuuri said with a smirk. "Gohan, wish for this Super Saiyan God so he can show up and show him who's boss."
Beerus gave Kyuuri a sideways glare for a moment before turning towards Gohan. "Yes, let's do just that." he replied.
The Z Fighters in addition to Beerus and Whis watched while Gohan placed the balls together, taking a step back before raising his arms. "Eternal Dragon Shenron, we summon you forth!" Gohan called out.
Everyone watched as the balls levitated and began to glow, a sudden bolt of golden energy shooting into the sky, darkening it temporarily.
"That's it! Calling in the big guns to get rid of this Cat!" Krillin called out.
"No." Vegeta said through clenched teeth. "Not even Shenron can defeat Beerus."
"Seriously?" the short Z Fighter asked.
"Yeah, years ago Shenron was destroyed by King Piccolo, so I'd assume Beerus is a bit out of his league." Tien commented.
"If that's true, how is here?" Android 18 asked.
"Kami revived him..." Piccolo said, the group freezing as they looked over at the Namekian, who was now fused with Kami.
"I am Shenron, I shall grant you any wish, now speak!" the Eternal Dragon proclaimed as he coiled in front of the Z Fighters.
"I have to make this fast...have you ever heard of something called a Super Saiyan God?" Gohan asked.
"Saiyan God?" Krillin muttered.
"I'd like to hear his answer just as much as Gohan." Beerus smirked.
"Yes, I have." Shenron answered.
"So far so good?" Kyuuri asked.
"Is your wish to know whether or not I know of the Super Saiyan God?" Shenron growled.
"No, no, no!" Gohan called out. "I need to know where he is so I can use my wish to bring him here."
"I cannot fulfill this wish for one does not yet exist." Shenron answered.
"The Super Saiyan God can only exist temporarily in your world when multiple Saiyans project their energy onto another." the dragon explained.
"How many do we need?" Kyuuri asked.
"So many questions yet no wishes! State your wish now!" Shenron demanded.
"Sorry, it's more for Beerus...he says he'll destroy the Earth if we don't bring a Super Saiyan God here asap." Gohan explained.
"What?!" Shenron shouted. "The Lord Beerus is here?" the dragon said as he turned to find the God of Destruction staring at him. "Pleased to meet you, I've...I've heard things."
"Likewise, but I'm kind of in a hurry." Beerus replied. "So tell them how to summon the Saiyan God."
"Oh...of course." Shenron blurted out. "Long ago a small group of pure-hearted Saiyans questioned the evil committed by their race. These good Saiyans decided to lead a revolt against the bad and to assure victory pooled their powers to create a savior...a Super Saiyan God. The Savior easily defeated the evil Saiyans with his immense power...he then vanished as quickly as he came as the energy the Saiyans had offered him could not last for long. In time evil again took root on Planet Vegeta and the memory of the Super Saiyan God became myth, nearly lost altogether...but I still know how to summon him."
"I've never heard him talk this long, are you getting this?" Goten asked.
"Sssh, he's explaining it." Trunks replied.
"Five righteous hearted Saiyans must join hands and instill their inner light into another. With his friend's energies flowing through him, this righteous Saiyan shall then take the form of a Super Saiyan God!" Shenron boomed before tilting his head up. "I have given you the knowledge you desired, your wish has been fulfilled, please excuse me." he continued before disappearing in a bright green shimmer, the Dragonballs taking on a golden glow and shooting skywards before flying off in different directions.
"Five Saiyans with righteous hearts...the only two of you who are close to righteous are Gohan and Goten." Piccolo said derisively.
"Hey!" Bulma and Kyuuri shouted in unison.
"How dare you say that about my Trunks?" Bulma growled.
"How dare you say that about me?" Kyuuri continued.
Gohan looked out over the crowd before him. "You know, my Dad's not bad either."
"Considering he's not here that makes four of us." Kyuuri replied.
"Ahem." Vegeta growled.
"You? Righteous?" Kyuuri said with a smirk.
"Who are you to doubt me? I've heard your little story about taking over another world before getting thrown out by a rebellion...doesn't sound too good hearted to me." the Prince replied.
Kyuuri immediately shot straight o Super Saiyan 2, locking eyes with Vegeta. "You have no right to bring that up!" she shouted.
"Guys, cut it out, that's enough!" Bulma shouted.
"I agree." Beerus said quietly, the whole group turning towards him. "I'm getting very impatient and if there's no developments soon I may just destroy this planet and move on."
Kyuuri fell back into her base form before turning away from Vegeta. "Fine then." she replied.
"It looks like we'll have to take a shot, all five of us." Gohan said.
"Who's it going to be then?" Beerus asked with a grin.
"It's only right that it's me, I'll do it." Gohan replied.
Everyone turned towards Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince, shockingly enough, had nothing to say as he strode forward and outstretched a hand. "Let's get this over with." he groaned.
Trunks nodded at Goten as they took each other's hands, linking theirs with Kyuuri and Vegeta, both adult Saiyans placing their hands on Gohan's back. Simultaneously they all went Super Saiyan, the four channelling their energy into the young half-Saiyan as Gohan felt their power flow through his veins. Slowly the group let their hands fall away as Gohan stepped away from the circle looking down at himself.
"Well, how do you feel?" Kyuuri asked.
"I feel a little stronger...but it just feels like you guys gave me a little boost and that's it." Gohan said.
"You don't look different either." Goten replied.
"Excuse me." Whis called out. "If I may, I think you have misunderstood. Shenron specifically said the inner-light of five Saiyans has to be instilled into another...that makes the total number you need six."
"Six?! Gohan replied. "Come on, Dad, why can't you ever show up during times like this."
"Dende, can you contact King Kai and see if Goku is up to the task?" Piccolo asked.
"Sure...I can try." the younger Namekian answered.
"Vegeta, don't you have a brother out there somewhere?" Bulma asked.
"Well...yes, but I don't know where he is, how to find him or anything like that." the Saiyan Prince answered.
"You're telling me that when he left Earth you didn't find anyway to get back in contact with him?!" Bulma exclaimed.
"He was exiled for a reason you know!" Vegeta said.
"Oh, so that's your excuse?" Bulma said.
"Everyone." Kyuuri said quietly, taking on an exasperated expression as the partygoers kept watching the two go back and forth. "You two shut up!" the Saiyan girl yelled.
"Excuse me?" Vegeta and Bulma said in unison before glancing at each other.
"I have a solution to the problem." Kyuuri stated.
Everyone paused, turning to look at the Saiyan girl.
"the twins." she said, placing a hand on her stomach. "We have two Saiyans right here."
"Would that really work, though?" Piccolo asked.
"I agree with Piccolo." Gohan said. "They're our children and I don't want to put them in any unnecessary danger...I just wish the circumstances were better." the young half-Saiyan said as he placed a hand on his wife's belly.
"We have to try." Kyuuri said, leaning in and resting her forehead against Gohan's.
"Alright, let's give it another shot." Gohan announced.
"Yes, let's." Beerus replied.
Vegeta, Trunks, Goten and Kyuuri linked hands, Kyuuri and Vegeta placing their hands on Gohan's back. The group went Super Saiyan, channeling their golden energy into Gohan. Everyone grit their teeth in worry as Kyuuri winced, the unborn warriors inside her beginning to stir. Gohan closed his eyes tight as he resisted the urge to break from his position and go to her aid. Suddenly a piercing golden light shown from Kyuuri's abdomen as both children achieved Super Saiyan within her womb.
Beerus and Whis watched in rapt attention as Gohan cried out, a light blue glow building around his body until the light was blinding, even the God of Destruction almost having to look away.
Everyone looked on as the Saiyans back away from Gohan, the blue glow dulling as the energy that encased him began to crack like glass and slowly float away before disappearing in the air around him.
"Gohan...you're." Kyuuri began.
"A Super Saiyan God." Beerus breathed.
"Looks like you lost a few pounds, too." Master Roshi pointed out.
Gohan's gi hung off of him slightly, his broad, muscular appearance having been replaced with a much thinner frame, his eyes a glowing crimson and his hair the same shade.
"How do you feel?" Trunks asked.
"Not too different, but what really matters is how he feels." Gohan said, directing his attention at Beerus.
"Let's stop wasting time and put you to the test." Beerus replied.
"Lord Beerus, try to restrain yourself." Whis replied.
"Gohan." Vegeta said, the half-Saiyan turning to the older full Saiyan. "Don't be like your father, take this seriously and we just might make it out alive."
The younger Saiyan nodded before turning back to Beerus. Vegeta was right, his father had a habit of testing his opponents before going all out, letting them warm up and be at their best before actually trying to defeat them, he wasn't going to make that mistake.
"So, give me your best shot." Beerus called.
Gohan cried out, a fire like aura roaring to life around him as he launched at Beerus. The God of Destruction barely moved in time as Gohan's fist flew by him, the half-Saiyan throwing a lightning fast snap kick that struck Beerus in the chest, hurling him up into the air.
"Don't get ahead of yourself now!" Beerus shouted.
Gohan raced at the the God, unleashing a flurry of jabs, Beerus blocking every one before darting to the side and landing a hook to the half-Saiyan's face, sending him spinning backwards. This didn't deter Gohan though as he flew at the God of Destruction again, throwing a jab, Beerus blocking it before Gohan threw a roundhouse, the God dodging it just as Gohan flipped upside down it the air and brought a kick down straight on top of Beerus, the God gritting his teeth as he put his arms in the shape of an x to block only for the strike to nearly knock him from the air.
"Hm, you seem to be enjoying yourself so far...so how does it feel?" Beerus asked.
"I've never felt anything like this...but the fact I can't reach this form on my own, the fact I might not have it when I need it most...I hate that." Gohan replied.
"Well, you need it right now and you have it...so use it." Beerus replied.
"This is for Kyuuri!" Gohan shouted as his flaming aura flared around him.
The two Gods crashed into each other, their fists colliding and a massive shockwave tearing out from where they floated.
Below Vegeta watched the battle, gritting his teeth as Gohan displayed much the same battle prowess with which he fought Cell. "Kakarot and his son...such glory hogs." he said, Krilling tunring to face him. "But for once...I'm glad it's not me." he admitted.
Krillin quickly adopted a look of amazement and fear, he knew it wasn't good if Vegeta was afraid to face someone.
"Come on! They're getting further away, we have to keep track of this!" Bulma shouted, the party goers running onto her private plane, Piccolo balancing himself on top whilst Vegeta opted to fly on his own.
Beerus cried out as he raised his fists and interlaced his fingers, smashing them down on Gohan, the young Saiyan God being sent crashing into the rocks below only to recover immediately and go in for another attack. Beerus threw a jab, Gohan ducking it and spinning around behind the God of Destruction, putting him in an arm bar and driving a knee into his back.
"Leave now and we'll call it even." he growled as he pressed harder against his opponent's spine while pulling his arms back.
"Leave? Why I've only just started." Beerus said.
Gohan inhaled sharply as the God's tail struck him in the stomach, sending him flying backwards.
"And take this!" Beerus roared as he flew towards Gohan.
The half-Saiyan readied himself, only for the God of Destruction to stop within arm's reach. With one imperceptibly fast motion Beerus reached forward and flicked the Super Saiyan God in the forward, sending him flying onto the ground.
Bulma's plane hovered nearby, Kyuuri watching eagerly with both hands clawing at the glass. "If I tried to help I'd just get in the way." she lamented.
Gohan shot back onto his feet and raced at Beerus, throwing a series of jabs and kicks at Beerus, the God of Destuction easily blocking and returning each before the two charged each other, locking hands before both threw simultaneous kicks into the other's chest, sending them flying away in opposite directions.
"Are you following this, Master Roshi?" Krillin asked, trying his best to watch the fight.
"I lost track of it a long time ago." Master Roshi answered.
Krillin cast his gaze out the window, seeing Vegeta standing on a rocky outcropping nearby. "Hm, I wonder if Vegeta can see what's going on."
Vegeta was barely able to keep up, yet he still managed to watch the fight blow for blow.
Gohan cried out in pain as Beerus drove a kick into his stomach, slamming him into the ground.
"Give up yet?" Beerus asked with a smirk.
Gohan focused his energy inwards, this form, it felt like a far more powerful version of his base form...it occurred to him that this might just be the Super Saiyan God base form...maybe this wasn't it's full potential.
"What the...?" Beerus said as clear white aura began to rise around Gohan. Suddenly the half-Saiyan cried out, a powerful shockwave erupting from his body and sending Beerus flying backwards.
Before the God of Destruction could react Gohan was upon him, pummeling him with a a multitude of different kicks and punches. The God of Destruction nearly couldn't keep up with the young Saiyan God at first, slowly catching up and adapting to his speed, the two trading blows and leaving craters wherever they went.
Gohan blocked a sidekick from Beerus before darting in and delivering a kiai punch to the God's chest, Beerus flying backwards before starting back at Gohan, pulling his arm back only for the half-Saiyan to dematerialize and reappear next to him, delivering a roundhouse that sent the God of Destruction smashing through the ground below.
Gohan pursued, finding himself in an underground cavern partially filled with water. Gohan made to charge at Beerus when the God of Destruction spread his arms and legs, purple ki blasts shooting out in all directions.
"So we're using blasts now?" Gohan asked, skimming along the surface of the subterranean lake, evading some blasts and deflecting others into the cavern walls. Little did Gohan know, he had used up the last of his Super Saiyan God energy, reverting to his Full Potential form.
Beerus homed in on Gohan, sending a concentrated burst of ki blasts his way, the half-Saiyan dodging them before setting his eyes on Beerus.
"Masenko!" he shouted.
Beerus held out a hand to block to the attack only for the stream of energy to push him through the roof of the cavern, Gohan following him out and sending a snap kick at him, Beerus side-stepping it and throwing a hook followed by a jab, Gohan blocking the hook while the jab knocked managed to catch his shoulder.
"No!" Piccolo shouted.
"What is it? Is Gohan okay?" Krillin asked.
"He's not in his God form anymore...he's reverted back to his Full Potential form." Kyuuri said, holding a shaking fist to her face.
Gohan managed to keep up with Beerus, both trading blows, sending themselves higher and higher until they were far above Earth and among the stars.
"You haven't noticed, have you?" Beerus asked.
"Noticed what?" Gohan retorted.
"You lost your Super Saiyan God for a while ago." the God replied.
"Huh?!" Gohan said, outstretching his arms to find that he had indeed lost the the God form and fallen back into his Full Potential form.
"And yet somehow you still managed to fight evenly with me. It would seem your body learned from the experience and found a way to draw on that power on it's own." Beerus said.
"So what, is this over then?" Gohan growled.
"I'm afraid I have a job to do, and I'm not stopping here." Beerus said.
"About done are we?" Whis said as he appeared behind the God.
"Wait, you can't do this!" Gohan called out.
"I'm afraid it's over for the Earth." Beerus replied as he held up one finger, a massive orange ki blast coming to life over it, becoming larger and larger until Beerus, Whis and Gohan were but mere specks.
The half-Saiyan felt his body aching, wanting to give up, to just fall and give in, but he wouldn't let it. Gohan felt the heat as Beerus released the ki blast, the massive orb of energy slowly floating towards him.
"I...I won't...I won't let you DESTROY THE EARTH!" Gohan roared as he reassumed his Super Saiyan God form. In a swift motion he drew his hands back and rammed them forward, loosing a powerful Kamemeha wave directly into the blast, the blue energy stream tearing through and destroying the blast.
Beerus smirked as he watched the half-Saiyan neutralize his blast, he may just have a rival after all.
"Are you quite satisfied, Lord Beerus?" Whis asked.
"Not quite yet." the God said.
Gohan had used all the energy he could gather, he attempted to stay awake, his vision getting fuzzier until he finally lost consciousness, two arms closing around him being the last thing he felt.
bulma touched her jet down, the entire group running outside as none other than Goku floated down to the ground, holding the passed out Gohan.
"Gohan!" Kyuuri cried out as she ran over to Goku. "Is he...?"
"He's fine, just exhausted." Goku answered, looking up as Beerus and Whis descended.
"Nice of you to finally show up, Kakarot." Vegeta snapped.
"Where have you been?!" Chi-Chi roared, smacking Goku across the back of his head.
"Geez Chi-Chi!" Goku said as he knelt down, placing his son on the ground as he slowly awoke.
Kyuuri ran to her husband, helping him to his feet. "Kyuuri...I...I'm sorry." Gohan said.
"It's okay." Kyuuri said, clutching him close, fighting against her Saiyan pride as she pushed back tears.
"But our children...we were going to have twins." Gohan said.
"I'll see you in Otherworld." Kyuuri said, a sad tone to her voice.
"Ah, good to see you up and about again, I was worried I went too hard on you." Beerus said.
"You don't have to do this." Goku argued.
"I'm a Destroyer God, it's what I do, now prepare yourselves." Beerus said as he raised a finger, a ki blast charging on the end.
The group tensed as the God raised his arm and pointed it at a spire of rock that rose from the ground, firing the ki blast through it. "There, it's done." he said. "That fight must have really drained me."
"See, Lord Beerus did destroy the Earth, just not very much of it." Whis chimed in.
"Say, the fight you put up against Lord Beerus was quite impressive, would you like to become the next God of Destruction of Lord Beerus kicks the bucket?" Whis asked.
"Hey! Can it Whis!" Beerus exclaimed.
"You guys are welcome at my next party, just promise not to destroy the Earth." Bulma said.
"I better get some of that pudding next time." Beerus said with a smirk.
"I'll make sure you get some, I just hope you like the taste." Bulma replied.
"If I don't, I'll destroy the Earth." Beerus said with a grin.
Kyuuri watched as Gohan managed to stand, locking eyes with Beeris before smiling. "And I'll stop you again."
"Whatever you say." Beerus said before turning to Kyuuri. "I'm sorry for...hitting you earlier." he said.
"It's okay, whatever doesn't kill a Saiyan just makes us stronger." she replied with a smirk.
"Well, goodbye for now. I have some important business to attend to." Beerus said.
"See you soon." Whis continued as he tapped his staff against the ground, both beings departing.
Meanwhile, Supreme Kai, Old Kai and King Kai watched from above, disbelief on their face.
"I...I can't believe Gohan actually got Beerus not to destroy something." Supreme Kai said.
oOo
Gohan and Kyuuri walked through Bulma's reinitiated party arm in arm, both unwilling to part after nearly losing each other.
"So...I was thinking." Gohan began.
"What about?" Kyuuri asked, leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Names...it's a boy and a girl right...I have plenty of ideas." Gohan said.
"Fine, as long as I get to name our son." Kyuuri replied.
"I'm a bit worried about that, but fine." Gohan said with a laugh.
"You first, what did you want to name our daughter?" Kyuuri asked.
"Pan." Gohan answered.
"Pan? Like a frying pan?" Kyuuri asked.
"Well when you say it like that..." Gohan replied.
"It's fine." Kyuuri said with a laugh. "A deal's a deal."
"So, what name did you come up with?" Gohan asked.
"The only Saiyan name I remember...my father's...Daikon." Kyuuri began, looking off towards the sky. "If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be here...he gave his life to make sure I escaped Cooler's ship with my own."
"I wish I could have met him." Gohan said.
"I wish I could have gotten to know him better myself." Kyuuri answered.
"Well, we always have each other, and we both know we're not going anywhere." Gohan said, the two embracing.
oOo
"Man, that Super Saiyan God transformation sure looked impressive, might have to learn it myself." Goku said as Vegeta leaned against a tree nearby.
"Not before me, Kakarot." Vegeta growled.
"Wait, how did you know what the transformation looked like if you arrived after it had worn off?" Oolong asked.
"You'd already arrived by instant transmission, hadn't you?" Piccolo accused.
"Well y'now, I just wanted to study this Beerus guy...just in case I had to step in again.
"You jerk!" Oolong shouted as he leapt onto Goku.
"Bulma, I think Kakarot deserves some of you signature slaps!" Vegeta called out.
"I couldn't agree more!" Bulma said, the sound of her slaps and Goku's cries echoing into the night air.
oOo
Beerus' World
"That Gohan sure was something, I never expected a mortal that young to be even close to that strong." Beerus said as he and Whis shared some sushi.
"Yes, I'd say he gave you quite a run for your money." Whis answered with a laugh.
"All those Saiyans, Gohan, Goku, Vegeta and the girl...what was her name?" Beerus began.
"Kyuuri, I believe." Whis answered.
"Yes, that's it. Gohan, Goku, Vegeta and Kyuuri, they all show talent and may just become quite fearsome foes one day...one day." Beerus said as he poked a lump of wasabi with his chopsticks before picking it up and eating it, his eyes immediately going wide as the heat hit him, tears streaming from his eyes as he screamed and flew in every which direction, letting out panicked bursts of ki blasts that shattered the small planetoids in the distance.
"That's enough!" Whis said as he darted in, delivering a chop to the God's neck, knocking him out cold in one blow.
oOo
Alright, and with that, the Battle of the Gods arc is over! Sorry it took me so long to get this out! I hope you enjoyed it!
You may notice I made some rather large departures from the storyline in this chapter, mainly because I usually follow along with the movie while writing, stopping to insert bits about Kyuuri, but this started to take too long and kinda bordered on straight up copyright infringement, so I decided to take part 3 in another direction, also adding a more serious tone to the story and a more antagonistic attitude to Beerus because Gohan, I feel, is a more serious character.
Quick PSA for everyone, at least one of you has been leaving reviews on my other stories asking I update this one. Cut that out, seriously, stop doing that. It's straight up rude and I just delete the review. Thanks for listening.
Anyway, thank you for liking, hitting favorite and reviewing, you guys all make this as fun to write as it is! See you next time!
