Zap's note: So yeah, sorry we aren't able to have anything in conjunction with the series finale of The Big Bang Theory. The next chapter is started, but it's not in any state to be released in any form and won't be until the hiatus is over. All of our joint projects continue to be on hold until Smeg ends his hiatus. I chose to knock something out for this because this is the main thing I care about and I am disappointed in the response, or lack thereof more accurately, it's gotten so far.

"I'm going to miss waking up like this when school starts." Dawn said as she felt Faith stir behind her. "I've gotten quite used to it."

"Can't say as I blame you." Faith said, cuddling closer to Dawn and pressing a kiss to the back of her head. "Especially after nights like last night."

"It was pretty memorable." Dawn agreed, turning over to face the older girl. "We're not that far from campus, maybe I should just stay here so I can wake up like this more often."

"You're the one who keeps saying you want the full college experience." Faith pointed out. "Though I agree with Buffy and Willow, I do wish you'd agree to let Vi be your roommate."

"I get that." Dawn said, reaching up to play with Faith's hair. "But I can't really get the 'full college experience' if I'm rooming with someone I know already. Nothing against her, but I want the weird roommate experience too."

"But what if the weird roommate is a demon or something?" Faith asked. "I heard about Buffy's first roommate before Red moved in with her."

"I somehow doubt both of us will have a demon for a roommate." Dawn chuckled. She leaned in and pecked Faith's lips. "Even if she is, Vi will be right across the hall, I did agree to that. Besides, I don't really think 'Beca Mitchell' is a very demon-y name."

"I suppose." Faith conceded. "Who knows, maybe she'll end up being hot and the two of you could hook up."

"I know we've never really defined things, but I would never do that to you." Dawn gave Faith's hand a gentle squeeze. "And Beca might not even be into girls."

"Or she could want to experiment while she's in college, I hear that's a thing some girls do." Faith pointed out. "Just don't let me hold you back from having fun."

"I hear pining for someone back home can be part of the experience too." Dawn adds. "Whatever, we'll figure things out. Right now, let's go grab a shower."

"You mean grab each other in the shower?" Faith teased.

"Isn't that usually what happens?" Dawn asked.

~~~Seattle~~~
"Good morning Beca." Beca's mom Beth greeted her as the younger girl entered the kitchen.
"I'll agree that it's morning, good remains to be seen yet." Beca grumbled as she headed for the refrigerator to pour herself a glass of orange juice.
"What time did you get in last night?" Beth asked as Beca took a seat at the table.
"I think it was 3, I don't remember, I was tired." Beca answered. "The party was fun, it was just filled with straight girls."
"Sorry to hear Bumblebee." Beth empathized. "Just think, you'll be heading to college soon, I'm sure there will be all kinds of girls who like girls for you to meet."
"And THERE goes the 'good'." Beca said, rolling her eyes. "I'm still not happy you and dad are making me go to college. Yes it's in L.A., but I want to be down there paying my dues, not sleeping through classes and dealing with some preppy former cheerleader for a roommate who goes on and on about how great her boyfriend back home is."
"I'm sure Dawn is a perfectly nice girl." Beth interjected. "I understand that you want to get right to making your music, but trust me, you'll find it's easier to pay your dues with a degree than without one."
"I want to make a name for myself now, not four years from now." Beca shot back. She finished her orange juice as she regrouped. "I'm sorry, I really don't want to get into it right now, I need caffeine and the new barista as Cowgirls is really cute."
"You'll thank us later." Beth called out after her daughter.
~~~Scotland~~~

"Hey mum, I'm going to go for a run along the lake." Genevieve Campbell called out as she headed for the door of the cottage she and mother were staying at.

"Sounds like a good idea Ginny." Her mother Rowena replied, coming out of the kitchen. "I was just going to start making breakfast, but I'll wait. Anything you want special?"

"Whatever you make is fine, you don't have to do anything fancy." Ginny said, turning towards her. "I won't be long, maybe an hour or so."

"Sure thing love, be careful." Rowena acknowledged with a smile. Glancing over her daughter's shoulder, her eyes narrowed at the door. "I think there's someone at the door."

"Sounds like." Ginny agreed, turning towards it as she was closest. She glanced at her mother and received a nod, so she opened it just before the person on the other side, a girl with long dark blonde hair that looked about her age, could knock. "Can I help you?"

"S-sorry." The girl stuttered. "My name's Tara. W-where am I?"
