A Love Worth More Than Any Car
Chapter 2: Rebecca Meets Herb Powell
Rebecca exits her house, which is next to Herbert Powell's mansion. She sees the nearby mansion for the first time and notices a man in a suit coming out of the front door, she blushes as she finds him attractive. The man exits his front gate, notices the young lady, goes over to her and says, "Hello miss. My name is Herbert Powell. My family actually calls me Herb though. What's your name?" Before he came over her blush had faded, she smiles, takes his left hand, and says happily, "Hi my name is Rebecca Mirusad. I'm still kind of new to Detroit." The man smiles, he looks her in the eyes and says, "I can show you around, if you'd like.", "Thanks, I'd like that. You're a gentleman, Herbert." says Rebecca. Herb then says, "Say your last name sounds Japanese, are you from Japan or do you have a Japan heritage?", "I'm from Japan. I lived there for twenty-one years."
The man lets go of the lady's hand saying, "What's Japan like?", "It's not much different from America, other than there are more volcanic eruptions, well at least where I lived." Rebecca tells him. He puts a hand on her shoulder and says, "Would you like to be friends, Rebecca?", the woman blushes a light shade of pink and stutters out, "I-I-I... Sure, I'd love to." The man looks her in the eyes and says, "Thank you. Also you're really attractive.", she blushes more and says before hugging her new friend, "Thank you.. You're very attractive yourself."
