Sorry for not updating in forever! I've got 6 stories going now and I need to update all of them quickly. And does anyone know how to email FanFiction? It's about viruses. My family thinks it's my fault the computer gets viruses all because I go on FanFiction but I'm not the only one who gets on so it can't be me.

Miroku's POV

Unbelievable. I can't believe Sango took the blame for Inuyasha's wrong doing. Wasn't Kagome going to say anything to him? If she won't then I will. I began storming up to Inuyasha angrily when Kagome approached him, looking upset. I decided to stay back and watch what happened. I tried eavesdropping on their conversation but the sound of crying and handcuffs caught my attention. I turned around only to see that Koga was arresting Sango and my daughter was bawling. Rushing over to do something, I glared at Inuyasha for a second before moving my eyes back to the dreadful scene in front of me. What could I do? Could I tell Koga that it was really Inuyasha? No. It's not like he would believe me. But then a great but also upsetting idea popped into my head. Sango wouldn't be happy with me and nor would Satomi and Aoi.

I ran to Aoi's room, hoping she was awake, but sadly she wasn't. 'Damn it! I know Koga would believe his own daughter. He'd have to. I'm going to have to wait until she wakes up to go through with my plan if I want to save Sango.' Seeing a nurse coming in to check Aoi's IV, I quickly stopped the woman and tried to ask in a calm voice "Do you know when she will wake up?" I guess my voice wasn't as calm as I had hoped because the brown haired woman with dark eyes stared at me questionably.

"Who are you?" She asked. She obviously wasn't going to give me any information unless I told her who I was to Aoi.

"I'm... her stepfather." I quickly said. In a way I was though I hadn't been in the girl's life for even a day yet.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I can only give out information to biological family." She spoke with a cocky tune and smile.

Backing up and out the door, I mumbled "Bitch" under my breath and decided to head to the vending machines for a drink. 'That hussy... she didn't have to say it so cocky.' Sighing I looked up to see Kagome putting change in to the machine. At first, I hesitated to go to her but quickly realized I needed to have her speak to the stupid nurse seeing as how Kagome was biological family. I frowned. It wasn't fair. Kagome got to get information about her niece but I couldn't get anything about my stepdaughter... Great. Now I'm pouting like a 5 year old! Slapping myself across the face once, I finally calmed down. 'Right, time to talk to Kagome.'
Sadly, when I looked back up she was gone. "Damn it!" I muttered to myself and quickly bought two drinks - an orange soda and a root beer. "Why does my day have to suck so much?" I growled angrily at myself as I ran back to the waiting area.

When I reached the waiting room, the only ones I saw were Rin, Sesshomaru, and my daughter. 'Where the hell did Inuyasha and Kagome go?!' I clenched my fists, beginning to break open the drinks in my hands. I stopped when someone tugged on my shirt and said 'Daddy?'
Looking down, I noticed Satomi staring up at me, her eyes red from crying and full of hate. "He took her away!" My daughter seethed, trying her hardest not to yell.

'Damn that Koga!' I growled angrily before turning my attention towards Rin. "Rin! I need you to find out when Aoi will wake up! She's the only one that can possibly stop Koga from putting Sango in jail!"

"What are you going to do?" My sister - in - law asked as Sesshomaru stood by her side.

Looking away, I said "I'm going to find Inuyasha and Kagome. I need to talk to them." And I walked off, hoping to find them soon.

Kagome's POV

"Inuyasha?" I stared at him with somewhat upset eyes as we stood outside in the pouring rain.

He stared back at me with the same eyes. "Kagome?"

At first I kept thinking about why Sango would take the blame but the feeling of being pulled into Inuyasha's arms brought me out of it as he spoke. "Kagome," he whispered into my left ear. "I'm sorry. I really am sorry. I should've done something. I should've stopped Koga from taking your sister but I froze."
I knew he was telling the truth. It was in his voice; the way he spoke with such sadness and regret. I didn't know what to do. I wasn't sure what to even say to Inuyasha at that point. He rarely ever apologized which always annoyed me. But he... he... he just sounded upset. It even sounded like he hated himself for not telling Koga. "Inuyasha, please, you don't have to hate yourself." I pushed him away lightly.

Inuyasha's POV

I stared at Kagome , wondering why she was telling me not to hate myself. I should hate myself for not stepping in. "Kagome, back in the waiting room, I could tell how much the others hated me and I know they won't forgive me. Especially Miroku and Satomi!" I stared at her as I held her by her shoulders.

"But Inuyasha if you go to jail, what will I do!?" She cried aloud as tears threatened to fall. I stared at her upsettingly. I knew she'd be lonely without me but so would Miroku, Satomi and Aoi if Sango went to jail. I had to do something about it. But what? Kagome, I knew, was pregnant and so was Rin. Their scents were different.
"Kagome, I have to save Sango so Miroku and the children won't be alone."

"But what about me?" Kagome sobbed.

I watched upsettingly as she cried. 'I know she'll have the baby and everyone else around her but...'
"INUYASHA!" I turned when I heard Miroku call out my name. I knew why he was here: he wanted to talk about Sango.

I pulled away from Kagome and faced him. I knew he was pissed off at me so I said "I know, Miroku. I have to turn myself in and save Sango. Just promise me that nothing will happen to Kagome."

For a moment he stared at me, shocked at what I had said but then handed me his car keys. "I promise." He said.

I turned around to face Kagome only to see her on her knees, staring up at me worriedly and sadly. 'Kagome,' I knelt in front of her and brought into my arms tightly for a few minutes before letting go.

I know... What's Inuyasha going to say next?
