Okay so I am finally able to update! I know I keep apologizing to you guys. I have writer's block for like every story I have.
Sango's POV
When I was in the back of Koga's cruiser, I wasn't sure if I had done the right thing. I hadn't been able to say goodbye to Aoi or Miroku or my sisters. The worst part of all this was that I could feel a lone tear run down my cheek and hate begin to build up inside me. 'I shouldn't hate Inuyasha for this. I decided to go through with this and protect him so Kagome wouldn't be lonely.' I turned my head so I could look out the window. It was still pouring and Koga still hadn't said a single word to me. When he had shoved me into the car, it caused me to hit my forehead on the hard plastic of the seat which also caused it to bleed a little. This was my very first time in a police car but I had read up on them: The back seat of a police car is not comfortable. For one thing, it is made of hard plastic or smooth vinyl, so it can be easily cleaned (the back seats of cop cars end up covered in a surprising variety of human bodily fluids). In some cars, the seat is cramped, forcing suspects to sit very low or bend their heads down. To some extent, this is done to psychologically suppress people in the back seat, but it also makes it tougher to gain leverage or momentum if someone tries to launch an attack.
Most people who had been arrested never tried to launch an attack. Well that's what I had seen on TV shows and the news, or, seeing as how I had lived in a bad neighborhood I watched people get arrested and placed (not shoved like I had) in the back of the car. Some people though... man, it was scary as hell! I could see why they were arrested. Some either murdered because their significant other had cheated on them or they had just been plain crazy. Satomi had been with me a few times so that could be the reason why she had murdered her baby brother and tried to kill Aoi.
I felt the car jolt to an immediate stop. I looked to my other side and noticed that we were finally at the Fukushima prefecture courthouse. What the hell were we doing here?! I had to go to the station first before I had to go to court! Didn't Koga know that already or was he just plain stupid?
Reaching into my right back pocket of my light blue jeans, I finally found my phone. It was one of those old phones. You know, the ones that had first come out and you had to press a button constantly to get to the letter you wanted. I had two daughters to take care of so I didn't have the money to pay for a newer phone. As fast as I could, I text Miroku where I was (which by the way was a huge pain! I was getting so worked up about Koga that I kept messing up the message.) before I saw the dumbass wolf come out the door and towards the car.
Before I shoved the phone back into my pocket, I felt it vibrate and took a quick look to see what Miroku had said. But the strange thing was, it wasn't Miroku, it was Inuyasha who had text me. And when had I gotten his number? Kagome must've snuck it in while back at the hospital. Anyway, before I could see what he had said, my door was flung open and my phone was torn from my hands. I glared into Koga's dark brown eyes who glared back then thrust my out-dated phone into his front pocket. 'Damn you Koga.'
Inuyasha's POV
I held her tightly in my arms and whispered, "I love you so much, Kagome! I never wished for any of this to happen, I swear. I never wanted to even kill Keiske. He was going to kill Miroku and I wanted to stop him so I went to aim for his right shoulder." I could feel her soft warm tears falling onto my thin raincoat as she grasped my dark black hair. I could feel her soft skin against my somewhat rough skin as I closed my hazel eyes and held her a bit longer. I didn't want to let her go but I had to. I pulled away and kissed her lightly before standing up and smiling down at Kagome half heartedly. "I'll be back in no time. I promise." She only stared at me with tears still running down her face.
I walked over to Miroku and took the keys from his hand. "I'm sorry about everything." And I headed toward Sango's vehicle that was still parked in front of the hospital drop - off. Turning my head back to look at Miroku one more time I said quietly "Take care of her."
He nodded with a serious look in his violet eyes just before I got into Sango's red 2013 Kia.
Sure I didn't want to leave Kagome, but I was doing this for Miroku and his daughter. I didn't want them to be alone. In fact, I didn't want anyone to be alone especially Kagome. I stared at Kagome before I turned on the vehicle and drove off towards the police station. 'Hopefully the officers will believe me. I need to get Sango out of there for her children's sake.'
Satomi's POV
I missed mommy as I waited for my father to come back inside. I knew Inuyasha was going to try to get mommy back by telling the truth but I could tell from looking at everyone that there wasn't a great possibility that it would work.
I watched as a nurse finally came out once again and called out the last name "Higurashi". Immediately rushing toward her along with Rin and Sesshomaru, I finally the tears run down my face.
I jumped when I felt a hand run their fingers through my dark hair. I looked up to see Rin smiling down at me with a sad face.
"Follow me." I heard the nurse say and begin walking away. We followed and I could tell by her step and toneshe was one of those people that you had to be nice to if you wanted to get what you wanted.
I understand Satomi's POV is a bit short but I needed to update.
