CHAPTER 49 ~ Getting Away

I DO NOT OWN THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

Jeremy Gilbert was dead.

Elena hadn't been seen at all. No one knew where she was. Her house was completely gone and nothing could have been saved from the fire. Maddie assumed that she was staying with the Salvatore's. She hadn't seen them either. She had seen Damon once but that was about it. Within that time of getting back from the island she had thrown herself into school, choosing to stay clear. She hadn't seen Bonnie. And in Bonnie's case that was the best scenario for everyone. She wasn't over what happened in the slightest. She and Matt were on good terms and didn't speak about anything supernatural. She considered that good for their relationship. Her sister had gone back to school a bit early. She had noticed but didn't say anything. She figured it had a little something to do with not wanting to be around Klaus but she didn't confront her on it. She hadn't really heard from Kol. She did text him once to make sure he was alright and he responded that he was fine. Other than that, he was steering clear, which she figured was best for everyone.

February was quickly approaching. That meant Valentine's day was right around the corner. Elijah, who she was still mad at, was trying to get back in her good graces. She hadn't spent any real time with him. She did however, call and text, which he answered. She also occasionally stopped by. After seeing him for a little bit she would leave. She missed him. So much. But at the same time, she did want to make him suffer.

At the moment Maddie's main focus was on her midterms. She was pissed that she even had any at all. You would think that senior year they would give you a break or something. Nope. The only nice part, well what she considered nice, was the fact that her teachers weren't making her come in for midterm week. She would have the whole week off, besides that Monday. She had to come in her for calculus midterm since her teacher loved to be a mood killer.

She had been in her room since she had gotten home. She was studying her biology and English midterms which were being held on the same day. Then she would have the weekend to enjoy and then the week off. Well most of the week off. Another nice thing was that there would be no lacrosse workouts during this week. She would be able to relax.

"Knock, knock."

"Come in mom."

Janette entered her daughters room, looking around. "You always keep your room so put together."

"What can I say," Maddie said, still looking over her notes. "I like my things tidy."

"Have you spoken to your sister?"

"Not today, why?"

"Just asking. I actually wanted to talk to you about something."

"What's up?"

"Well, next year you aren't going to be here. And it will just be me and your dad." Janette said. Maddie turned around in her chair to face her mom. She looked upset.

"Okay."

"I have been thinking about what I could do. You know, to keep myself busy."

"Being a school teacher isn't good enough?" She wondered. Half joking, half serious. Her mom was dedicated to her job. Her students were lucky to have her.

"Ha ha, funny. Seriously you girls always kept me busy. Now with you both being gone I am going to be bored."

"So?"

"So, your dad is always at the hospital. And to be honest I don't see that stopping anytime soon. Especially with this new chief thing."

"What chief thing?"

"They are thinking about making him chief of the hospital."

Her eyes widened, "That's great!"

"Yeah, it is. But that means that he will be away even more. And I don't really want to be home alone, all the time."

She felt for her mom. She would be home alone a lot. At least now she did have her for company. But if she went away, which she was positive she would, her mom would be alone.

"What are you thinking about doing then?"

"I might become cheer coach."

"Cheer coach?"

"Yeah. Like assistant to the varsity team."

It made sense. Especially since she used to work with kids on the PAL team. "If that's what you want." It would definitely keep her busy. Especially since the season ran from the summer into late February, sometimes March. It all depended on competitions.

"The girls are going to Orlando to compete," her mom said. Excitement was all over her face. "Your father and I are going to go. You know, to see if I like it and stuff. And then it will be a nice time for us to get away."

"When is it?"

"The eleventh to the fifteenth I think. Something like that, I'm not sure. So, we will be gone. But don't worry, you don't have school."

"I don't."

"It's your mid-winter break then."

"Right."

Good to know. She would have midterm week off and then she would only have to go for about a week and a half and then another break. That sounded amazing when she really thought about it.

"Will you want to stay here?" Her mom asked, "Or will you want to go spend some time with your cousins in New Hampshire."

She hadn't seen them in a while. And it would most definitely be nice to get away. It would also be nice to spend some time with Elijah though. She wasn't as mad anymore. On top of that she felt like they could use that time together.

"Do I have time to think about it?"

"Of course. I just wanted to give you the option. If you want to stay here that's fine, I'll just want you to check in."

"I will."

"I'll let you get back to your studying then." Maddie watched her as she walked to the door. Before she could fully leave the room, she stopped, turning back to face her. "Have you heard from anymore schools?"

She shook her head, "No. Just Maryland."

"You'll hear eventually. Regardless, your father and I are very proud of you."

A small smile came to her face. Her parents had both been happy when she showed them the letter. "Thanks mom." Janette gave her a small nod before leaving. Closing the door behind her.

"You should consider going to see your family."

Maddie just about jumped out of her skin. Looking around anxiously, she glared at Elijah. "Don't do that!"

"Sorry." She knew he wasn't really. She could tell from the smirk that he had on his face.

"No, you aren't," she got to her feet. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you."

"Why?"

"Because I love you."

His confession shocked her. While they had exchanged I love you's, she wasn't expecting him to say that to her. Not right now.

"I love you too," she told him. She was going to be honest about her feelings for him. "But that doesn't change the fact that I'm still upset."

"And you have every right to be. But, avoiding me isn't going to help us solve anything."

"I haven't been avoiding."

"What do you call it? I mean besides the occasional phone call or text, or you dropping by to make sure I'm home, I haven't seen you."

He had her there. But she wasn't about to lose. "I call it making sure that you aren't with Katherine. That's what I call it."

"I haven't seen Katerina since before the cure."

"Right, the cure which she now has."

While she hadn't seen Elena, Damon or Stefan. She had overheard Caroline and Matt one day talking. She didn't hear much only that Katherine was able to get the cure and run. Now there was a hunt for her. She knew she was staying out of this one though. The first cure hunt had almost cost her huge, her life.

"Yes, she does."

"Right, so I'm sure she will be in contact with you. You know, to do a trade for her with Klaus."

"I would suspect yes."

"And you will go running to her rescue."

"I will do the trade." He told her, being honest. "However, I will not be running to her as you put it."

"Then tell me, how should I put it."

Elijah took her hands in his, "I didn't come here to fight with you."

"Why did you come here?" She asked again.

"Because I missed you."

"Right."

"I mean it. Have dinner with me."

"I have to study." She could have still gone to dinner with him, but she wanted him to fight for it. For her. If he wanted her to spend time with him he was going to have to do way more than just ask nicely.

"I can help you study for math."

"I'm not studying for that until this weekend," she said honestly. "Right now, I have to worry about English and bio."

"You're worried about English?"

"Not really. I just want to go over stuff from the beginning of the year. More so biology I really need to buckle down with."

"Let me help you."

He was being sincere. He really did want to help her. She looked between him and her stuff spread out on her desk, "Fine. Pull up a chair."

Elijah helped her study. And study hard. He would make her review things before he would quiz her. Whenever she got something wrong he would go over it repeatedly with her, but not in a way that would make her feel like she was dumb. He would then quiz her some more and then question her on what they had just went over. It was a good way for her to remember.

When her mom finally did call her down for dinner, she left him in her room. He told her he would wait for her. She rushed through it, all the while hoping her mom didn't notice. When she finished she hurried back upstairs to her bathroom to shower. She had considered doing it when Elijah left but she decided to torture him a little bit. While she had no plans to have sex, she wanted him to remember what he was missing. The minute she got out of the shower she dried off there, leaving her in a bun on top of her head. Heading back to her room, she opened the door, trying to keep the smile off of her face when her eyes connected with Elijah.

"You're still here?" She knew he was going to be there. They both knew it.

"Yes." One worded answers. She took that as a good sign.

"I'll be dressed in a second." She spoke, walking over to her drawer that held her bra and underwear inside. As she glanced through she tried to find the sexiest bra and thong that she could.

Coming across a lace peach colored set she took it out. She let towel drop as she did so, turning around so that Elijah could see her goodies. She put on her bra first. He watched her the whole time. As she put on her thong she made sure to turn around, giving him a nice view of her ass as she bent down to slip into it. She slid the thong up her legs extra slow. When she was done she slipped into a pair of pajamas going back over to her seat.

"Thanks for waiting." He was staring at her with those hungry eyes. She glanced down. She could see how much his cock wanted her. Good, she thought to herself. "Now, where were we?"

His voice was hard when he spoke, "The cell cycle."

She gave him a huge smile, "Right."

She had decided that she was finished studying when it was almost 11. Elijah helped her pack her things away.

"Thank you for helping me."

"You're welcome." She really did appreciate it. She had felt good before but now she felt confident for her two tests tomorrow.

"Listen, next week is dedicated to midterms. I only have to go Monday for math. After that I have the week off. Maybe we can do something."

"I would like that very much."

She smirked, "I'm sure your," she stepped closer to him, allowing her hand to run down his shirt and to the crotch of his jeans, grabbing his un aroused member gently, "would like it." She quickly moved her hand away. She didn't want to give in and sleep with him. She did however want to mess with him.

"I'm sure he would." Elijah agreed. "Get to bed. You'll need your rest."

"Right."

"I would still like to help you study for math though. I know it isn't your favorite."

"Of course."

She would need all of the help that she could get with that.

Her tests went good on Friday. She had gotten through them pretty quickly. A big part due to Elijah. When she went home after school that day she felt good. That night she went to babysit for a friend of her mom's. The following day she was babysitting Hallie. She didn't find the time to see Elijah again until Sunday afternoon when he helped her study with math. This time they were at his house. They had finished around eight. He had definitely helped her a lot, giving her little shortcuts on how to do some things. She would have stayed longer but she didn't want to be out to late. Since the whole week was just dedicated to midterms it wasn't a regular school day. She would have to be there by eight a.m. for her test.

"I really do appreciate you helping me," she said after packing up her stuff. "I mean it."

"I wouldn't want it any other way. I like helping you."

She gave him a soft smile and a short shrug, "I guess I will see you later."

"Yes. I want to talk to you about that."

"What's sup?"

"Can you get away for a few days?"

"What do you mean by get away?"

"I would like to take you away for a few days. We can leave Monday or Tuesday your choice."

"And when would I be back?"

"By Thursday night, early Friday morning."

"And where would we be going?"

"Let that be a surprise."

"Seriously."

"Seriously."

"Okay."

"So, you'll come?"

"I'm sure I can come up with some excuse." Especially if it involved her sister. She then shook her head. Screw that. She wanted to spend time with him. "No, I will definitely be there with you."

"You're sure."

"I am positive. Now I have to go shower and get in the bed."

"Right. Please text or call me when you get home. I want to make sure that you're safe."

"Will you answer?" She wondered, being sarcastic. She knew that he would but seeing his facial expressions made her laugh. She definitely had him with that.

"Funny."

"Hey mom," Maddie said answering the phone. "I just got out of the shower."

"No problem. I just wanted to see if you had left yet."

Her mom thought she was going to Stanford to spend time with Cordelia. Technically, their semester hadn't started yet so it would be fine. Besides her parents insisted they just call and they could get them a hotel set up if they didn't want to stay in the dorms or if there was a problem. Cordelia, knowing Maddie would be with Elijah was all on board. She really owed a lot to her sister. She was always there to stick up for her and cover for her.

"No, leaving in a little bit. I actually just got home so I showered and then I'm going to make sure that I have everything before I head out." As she talked, she put her phone on speaker as she dried off. She was anxious to get out of there and spend time with Elijah.

"Alright. Text me when you get to the airport."

"I will."

"Love you."

"Love you too," mom she said hanging up.

After drying off she quickly blow dried her hair. She had made sure to wash it thoroughly. When she was finished blow drying it she straightened it. She noticed that it was growing back. She wasn't to shocked about that though, since the last time she had cut it was in November. She silently debated whether or not to whack it again, deciding it against it in the end. She didn't really mind it long.

Going to her closet she picked a quick outfit for the day and changed. She slipped into one of her long sleeve LOVE PINK shirts, a pair of crop leggings that ended after her knee caps and then she put on her socks and UGG slippers. She figured she might as well be comfortable on the flight. That was one of the only details Elijah had given her, that they would be flying and to pack for at least three to four days.

She had already texted Elijah when she got home. She would be meeting him at his house since she needed to leave her car there. The minute she had everything she quickly left and headed over to his place.

As she parked her car in his driveway, she could see him, waiting for her. He was standing next to his own vehicle.

"Hey."

"Hello beautiful." She blushed. He was good with words and he knew it. "Ready to go?" He asked, opening up her back door and taking her bag.

"Yeah."

She walked herself to his car, getting into his passenger seat. She relaxed against it. It had felt like forever since she had been inside of his car. Usually she just met him places, like his house or wherever, or she would drive. She didn't mind though. There was something relaxing that she found about driving.

The whole ride to the airport she found herself looking out of the window. Watching the trees go by first, and then some houses and then just cars as they were on the main road. She could have just taken a nap, and she almost dozed off, but she made herself stay awake. She could sleep on the plane ride. When they got to their destination, she noticed that they were at an airport but he didn't walk them inside. She considered saying something but this was Elijah. He knew what he was doing.

She looked down at their joined hands. He had clasped her small hand in his big one once they were both out of the car. He had even taken her bag, which didn't surprise her either. He was such a gentleman.

"Where is your bag?" She asked as they walked.

"I don't need any for where we are going."

"And I do?"

"You don't have clothes where we are going. And I figured that if I offered to just buy you a new wardrobe you would refuse."

"You know me so well."

"Yes," he squeezed her hand tighter. Pulling her closer to him. Her breath stopped short. He was staring at her and it made her feel like he was looking into her soul the way his eyes searched hers. "I do know you." He leant down and for a moment she thought he would kiss her but instead his lips connected to her forehead, "Now let's go. Don't want to be late."

"We missed the airport," she said looking around.

"We don't need to go in there."

"Why not?" She questioned.

"We're flying private."

"You own your own plane?" She wondered. After asking she felt stupid. "Of course you own your own plane. Why am I even asking that stupid question?"

"I'm not sure."

Chuckling, she lightly hit his back. Everyone was waiting for them when they got there. Elijah spoke to the pilot and told Maddie to take a seat. She did, one by the window, in case she wanted to lean her head against it. He soon joined her, sitting next to her.

"Are you scared of planes?" He wondered.

She shook her head, "No. I'm not. I don't care for take off but I'm not scared."

"Don't worry," he leaned in to her, their noses almost touching, "I'll be here to protect you."

She leaned into him, "Great."

The two just stared at one another. Maddie wanted him to kiss her, badly. He wanted to kiss her but he wasn't going to. When he smiled and slightly moved his face out of hers she knew it wasn't going to happen. At least not right now. Sighing, she dropped her head against his shoulder. He relaxed when she did, looking down at her before pulling out a newspaper. She chuckled a tad, not shocked that he had one. Of course. So Elijah. Her eyes glazed over the paper before she relaxed, drifting off to sleep.

"So, now that we are here you can tell me where exactly here is."

There plane had just landed. Elijah had done a great job of keeping their location hush, hush. When the pilot announced they would be landing he didn't announce where exactly landing was. She knew that Elijah had a big part to do with that.

"Come," he said standing. He had her bag in his hand as he held out his hand for her to take.

She took his hand, following him off the plane. She waved to the pilot and he gave her a small smile, before turning away. When they stepped outside she noticed how the sun was out but there was still a chill.

"Where are we?"

Elijah smiled down at her, "Welcome to New York Maddison."

"You brought me to New York!" She said excitedly.

"Yes."

"Oh my god!"

She had been before, but that was when they took Cordelia to look at Columbia. "I'm sorry," he looked around, "I know it's snowing."

She cut him off, grabbing his hand and pulling him close, "This is perfect." She leant up and pecked his lips. "Thank you."

A smile came across his face, "You're welcome."

"Now, I am going to tell you, don't call me Maddison again."

He chuckled, "I will try my best."

"Now, let's get this vacation started."

He led her to a car that was waiting for them. No one was inside. Elijah opened up the door for her and she got into the passenger seat. She watched as he put her bag into the trunk of her car before he got into the driver's seat.

"Where exactly are we?"

"Long Island."

"And where are we going?"

"You chose. I have a home in the city and in the Hamptons."

"Of course you do." She thought about it, "Um. Which one do you prefer?"

His face didn't move. It was a mask. He really didn't care. He wanted her to choose and he would take her wherever it was that she wanted to go. "You tell me what you want."

"I've never been the Hamptons."

He nodded, driving off. She had to adjust. She wasn't expecting the speed. But she liked it. getting comfortable she pulled out her phone, texting her sister and then texting her mom that she had arrived safely. As they drove to Elijah's Hampton home, she watched the scenery. This was all new to her. She would point out various things that would make Elijah smile at her before he would look back straight and out of the window.

"These houses are crazy," she murmured. The home in the Hamptons were amazing to say the least. So big and beautiful. "I still think that my house is beautiful though," she said. "And yours too. Klaus' is just a mansion."

"Yes, Niklaus has always enjoyed the flashiness of things, such as homes, to say the least."

"Have you spoken to him?"

"Briefly."

"How is he?"

Elijah didn't say anything at first. Instead he took a moment, "He is doing alright considering things."

"Like?"

"Kol." She kept quiet. She still hadn't confessed that Kol wasn't alive. She didn't know why either. Now would be more than a perfect time but she kept her mouth shut. "Speaking of, he is trying to get ahold to your sister. Seems that she is avoiding him though."

"I don't blame her." Maddie was slightly in defense mode. Ready to defend Cordelia's honor. "He was a complete dick to her."

"Not surprising. My brother isn't good with showing his emotions."

"Doesn't give him a pass to be an asshole to someone that only wants to help him."

"I agree. Nonetheless he needs to speak to her."

"About what?"

"Apparently she took Kol's body." She looked ahead out of the window. She had a feeling she knew where he would be going with this. "And under your orders." Yup, she had known that he would say something along those lines.

"Kol might have been an ass but he didn't deserve to be left there. Rotting on the floor of the Gilbert home like his life meant nothing."

"And I agree with that, however, now Niklaus would like his body back."

"Why, so that he can put it in a casket?"

"Where is Kol's body Maddison?"

"I don't know. I was on the island, remember?"

Of course, he remembered that she had been on the island. Knowing she was there had scared him. He would never forget that. "Your sister didn't tell you where she took it?"

"No." It was kind of true. She didn't know where Kol's body was considering he was off somewhere. Hopefully doing his best to stay alive, which mean that he would be far away from Mystic Falls.

"My brother wants Kol's body. Tell your sister to respond to him."

"Why is he going to snap her neck if she doesn't tell him?" She wondered, half being sarcastic in a joking way, half being serious.

"No. Niklaus is quite fond of her."

"I'm sure he is." Maddie noted. "How about this, I will talk to her, but not now. I just want to enjoy our time together right now. It's not like we get much time alone, especially not out of town. Can we please just make these next few days about us?"

"I like the sound of that."

"Good."

She was in love with his house. She loved his home in Mystic Falls, but she especially loved this Hamptons home. From the open space, to the huge glass windows, the big bedrooms that had huge beds, ugh, she was just in love. It didn't take them long to settle down.

"Do you come here often?"

"I try to come every summer."

"Right." Last summer her had been locked in box, no thanks to Klaus. "How is it that this place is so kept together."

"I have a housekeeper on call."

"Of course."

"Does that bother you?"

She shook her head. It didn't. "No. I was just curious. What are we doing for the rest of the day?"

"Relaxing."

"That honestly sounds wonderful." While she was excited to be in the Hamptons, the days events had worn her out. "Can I cook dinner?"

"I guess that will be alright."

A sly smile came over her face, "Well then, I guess I'll start now." She got up off of the couch and made her way into his kitchen. "This kitchen is fucking huge," she muttered.

"Yes, it is." Elijah said behind her.

She jumped slightly, turning around and lightly hitting his shoulder. "You know that I hate it when you do that."

"To be fair, you should have heard my footsteps."

"Yeah, yeah. What are you doing in here?"

"I'm going to watch. You know, the same way that you watch me when I cook for you."

She gestured to a bar stool, "Well sit. And have fun watching me."

"I will."

She gave him one last smile before making her way around to the fridge. Elijah watched her the whole time as she made them dinner. He didn't miss one thing. From the annoyance that came over her face when she couldn't find something, to the way she looked so focused as she cut up vegetables, to the determination as she placed their food. She sat next to him as they ate, first getting him a glass of wine and herself one. She figured it wouldn't hurt her to have wine. When they were finished with dinner she insisted on cleaning up the kitchen. He watched her do that to before taking her hand and leading her into his living room to watch television.

"What are you thinking about?" She wondered. She had been watching a movie that was playing and so focused that when she glanced up and saw him gazing out of one of his windows she frowned. He looked so focused on something. She didn't want to ruin his thought but she was way to curious not to ask.

Elijah looked down at her, "I'm thinking about how much I don't want to take you back. How I want to keep you with me forever."

"That would be great, wouldn't it?" She smiled. Leaning into him some more. She would never tire of the feeling on him having his arms wrapped around her. Her own personal safety net.

"How do you think you did on your test today?" He wondered.

Her smile grew wider, "Really well to be honest. I actually understood everything, even more than I already had. Our study session really helped." She moved to face him more, moving out of his grasp a little. "Thank you for helping me."

"I will always be there to help you," he said back, holding her gaze. From his intense stare she knew that it was true. Him always being there for her.

"I know." She went back to her position before hand, and he wrapped his arm around her, bringing her even closer than she had been before.

It wasn't much long after that when she began to yawn, tired. She could see herself dozing off. She did want to shower before getting into her pajamas though.

"You're tired," Elijah said. It wasn't a question either, but a statement.

"Kind of."

"Let's get you off to bed."

He moved his arms, his warmth leaving her. She watched as he turned off the TV before taking her hand in his. She got up and allowed him to lead her up the stairs. She noted that there were about eight to ten doors. She wondered how many were actually bedrooms, she figured some or at least one would have to be a bathroom. He brought her to the one that was on the far left, stopping outside of it.

"Your bag is on your bed." He pointed across the hall, "Bathroom is right there. Towels, soap and everything else you will need is inside already."

She nodded, "Okay."

"Have a good night Maddison," he said, a hint of a smile on his lips when he saw the face she made to him calling her that. He stepped forward kissing her forehead before walking away.

She waited until he had opened a different room door, "Where are you going?"

"To shower and then get ready for bed." He gave her one last smile before departing inside of the room, shutting the door behind him.

She stood there, staring at the door he had just walked into, confused. I guess we aren't sleeping together, she thought sourly, finally walking into the room where her things were. She didn't even have time to enjoy how beautiful the room was because she was in a sour mood. Going to the bag, she immediately picked out a bra, a pair of underwear, and her pajamas before moving to the bathroom. She took a quick shower, changing and went back to the room Elijah had given her, getting into bed.

She wasn't sure how long she lay there for but she didn't fall asleep. In fact, she just sat there staring at the ceiling. She was able to doze off, but it seemed like it was only for a few minutes before she was up again. At one point, she just looked on her phone, seeing if she had any new messages. She didn't. She considered texting her sister but decided to leave it alone. She didn't want to wake her up and bother her.

Eventually, she just slapped her hands against the bed comforter and glared at the ceiling. She wanted to be in the other room. With Elijah. Not in here by herself. Moving the covers, she decided to do something about it, getting up and storming out of the room. She stood outside of his bedroom, staring at the door. A part of her wanted to just burst in, another part of her wanted to just turn back. Taking a leap of faith, she put her hand around the door knob, turning it. She immediately spotted the huge bed in the middle of the room. She could make out the outline of his body on the right side. She closed the door behind her, still looking at the bed. Finding the courage, she walked over to the side opposite his and got in.

At first, she wasn't sure if he was even awake. He hadn't moved. But as she moved up against him, she knew that he had to be. He probably heard her moving all night. He was an original. She curled up against him. When she was comfortable she glanced up at his face. He was looking down at her, a small smile on his face. She smiled back, knowing that he had definitely been awake the whole time.

"I don't want to sleep by myself," she murmured looking away. "Not when you're here."

Snow had come. But when she thought about it, this was New York and it did snow here. It was kind of nice to watch. It meant that she and Elijah were stuck in the house but she didn't really care. They were together and that was what mattered the most to her. On their last night together, Elijah had told her he was going to take her out. To a local club. That got her excited. Of course, he then told her he had some business to take care of, but she was still kind of excited. A club in the Hamptons. Her sister would be going crazy.

As she showered she thought about what she would wear. Because she hadn't known their destination, and Elijah just told her to bring a variety of clothes, she wasn't sure if she had packed anything club worthy. She was pretty sure that she had brought a dress but she wasn't positive. When she got out of the shower, she ran back to the room that Elijah had first given her. She had left her stuff in there but had continued to sleep in his room with him. Drying off, she looked through her bag. A grin came over her face when she saw that she did in fact bring a dress. It was a white bodycon dress. Her boobs were popping and there was definitely some cleavage. She made sure to put on the necklace that he had given her for Christmas. She smiled in the mirror seeing it pop before she went to slip into a pair of black heels she brought along. She left her hair out knowing that Elijah liked it like that.

She quickly went downstairs. Elijah was waiting for her at the bottom of the steps. She didn't miss the way his eyes ran over her legs and then her chest. They stayed there for awhile before he looked at her.

"Sorry I took so long."

"No problem."

He walked them out of the house, holding her door open for her when they were at his car, "Thank you," she murmured. He closed the door going over to his side.

As he pulled out of the driveway she noticed the snow on the ground. With the way Elijah drove it took them no time to get to the club. She looked at him when as he parked the car.

"Not that I'm opposed to being here, but why are we here? Doesn't seem like your scene."

"It isn't."

"So?"

"I have a business partner to meet."

A frown came over her face, "I didn't realize we were meeting Katherine." Her tone was bitter.

"That's because we aren't." Her head snapped up to look at him. "I know it might be hard to believe, considering my family has money, but I do venture off into different areas of business."

"Right." She felt kind of embarrassed. But it went away when Elijah picked up her hand and kissed it. "Should be quick, we will be in and out."

"I really don't mind being here Elijah. Don't rush for me."

"As you wish. Shall we?" She nodded, undoing her seat belt. Of course, before she could open the door for herself, Elijah was there holding it open for her. She got out, giving him another grin.

"Should you be doing that in public?"

"No one was around to see it."

Together they walked into the club, hand in hand. Before they even walked through the door Maddie could hear the music booming outside of the club. She predicated people were having a great time inside. When they walked in there were a ton of people there dancing. It was crazy.

"This place is huge," she said. It was more like a yell since there were so many people around.

She looked up see him give her a nod, acknowledging that he heard her. His eyes then scanned through the crowd. She watched him and looked over to see what he was looking at. It didn't really help. People moving around kept throwing her off and he was taller than she was. He began to walk and she only noticed since there hands were clasped together.

"Mr. Mikaelson," she heard someone say. She had been walking directly behind him so he was shielding her.

"Alex," Elijah said. "Nice to see you again."

Maddie slightly peaked her head around to see who he was talking to. The man was sitting down so she wasn't sure how tall he was. He had short blonde hair, ocean blue eyes and he had a smile on his face. He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, jeans and sneakers.

"And who is she?" Alex asked. Maddie realized that he must have seen her.

"This is my girlfriend," Elijah said. She came around to stand next to him instead of behind him. She waved at Alex.

"Hi, I'm Maddie."

"Alex," he extended his hand to her. She shook it quickly before letting go.

Elijah, sat down at the table across from Alex. They were by the bar and there were many tables around. There were a lot of people standing around, especially since the bar was so close. Some were sitting at the tables but not too many. Most people sitting were seated right in front of the bar. She noticed the TV's were on. Some basketball game was on that had people's attentions. There were about three bartenders behind the bar serving. She noticed three walking around on the floor.

Seeing Maddie and Elijah one came over.

"Can I get you guys something to drink?" Said a red head bartender walking up.

"I'll have a long island iced tea." Alex said.

That spiked Maddie's interest. She had always wanted to try one of those. Her sister had told her that it was good.

"Two water's," Elijah noted.

"Actually," Maddie cut in. "I'll have a long island iced tea as well." She could feel Elijah's eyes on her face but she didn't care. She wanted to try one. Meeting his eye, she just gave him a secret smile. He looked at her in amazement before turning back to the bartender.

"She'll take a long island iced tea."

"I just need to see ID."

Elijah, who could have just compelled the girl, but since Alex was there he didn't bother. He just pulled out something and she quickly looked at it, walking away.

"Your girl knows what she wants," Alex noted.

"Yes, she does." Elijah said with authority ringing through his tone. He was obviously ending that conversation before it even had a chance to start. "Now, you called me to discuss finance."

"Right," Alex began, causing Maddie to gaze off. She wasn't really interested in whatever business they had. She looked around, seeing a whole bunch of people dancing and have the time of their lives. She wanted to be out there with them. She could see her sister out there, dancing the night away with a drink in her hand, no worries.

She looked away when the drinks came. She thanked the red head, whose name she didn't know, for hers grabbing a straw and putting it in. It didn't escape her that Elijah was watching her. She took a small sip at first. It was pretty good.

"I take it you like," Alex noted.

She nodded, "Yeah, it's good. It kind of tastes like an iced tea with lemon."

"That's because it was made right," Alex said holding his cup and drinking. He then turned back to Elijah, talking.

Maddie chuckled a bit, taking another sip of hers. As she sipped on her drink, small sips, she looked into the sea of people. Nothing was stopping them from having fun. Everyone she saw was grinning from ear to ear, dancing like crazy and just having a great time. She wasn't sure how long she sat there with Elijah and Alex but she considered it to be a while. She hadn't been drinking her long island iced tea quick, only short sips and when she finally at the bottom she stopped, looking away from the sea of people.

"I'm going to use the bathroom," she murmured to Elijah a little while later. She felt like she had to pee.

"Do you know where it is?"

"I'll find it," she said standing. "Don't worry." She murmured the last part before walking off.

She didn't have any problem finding the bathroom. After using it, she washed her hands and left. The bathroom was close to the dance floor so she was going to have to go through everyone to get back to the bar. She could vaguely see the outline of Elijah's suit as she walked past people. She was on her way back when she stopped in the sea of people. She wasn't the only though. It seemed like most people stopped as the new song began.

Beyoncé's song YONCE began blasting throughout the club. As the realization dawned over everyone there was a burst of excitement. A good amount of people began to cheer and started moving along to the music. Seeing everyone around her moving, she couldn't help but move with them. She thought it would be awkward at first, dancing around with random people. It wasn't like a high school dance or prom where you knew everyone, but once she got into it all of her worries were washed away. She was just having a good time.

She found herself with a group of people dancing. By the time she glanced up to where she had seen Elijah and Alex before, Elijah was by himself. At least she couldn't see Alex so she figured he had left, was either getting a drink, or just not in her view. Elijah's eyes were locked with hers. She kept his eyes on his as she swayed her hips to the beat. Not caring about who she was bumping against as she danced. She felt sexy. Especially with Elijah's very watchful eye on her.

Drop the bass mane, the bass get lower
Radio say "speed it up", I just go slower
High like treble

A grin came to her face as she knew what line was coming up next. Turning around, she made sure her backside was faking him.

Puffing on the mids
Ya man ain't never seen a booty like this

As soon as those lyrics began to play she began shaking her ass. A wide grin on her face because she knew that he was watching her.

And why you think ya keep my name rolling off the tongue
Cuz when he wanna smash
I'll just write another one I sneezed on the beat and the beat got sicker

She turned around only to bump into a hard chest. She was about to apologize when she looked up. Elijah. That was fast, she thought to herself.

"Let's go!" Elijah said, his lips by her ear. His back was pressed up against her front. She could feel him against her. He wanted her.

"What about your meeting?" She asked, loudly. It didn't matter, no one could hear her. Had it not been for his supernatural hearing abilities he wouldn't have been able to hear her. As she waited for a response she grinded against him, letting her ass shake against him.

"It's over and so is this show you're putting on for everyone."

She frowned. Was he upset with her? She had thought that he was turned on especially from his bulge. She wasn't sure and didn't want to push the issue in here so she allowed him to bring her to the car. When he got into the driver's seat and turned on the car, she turned her body towards him.

"You're mad at me?"

"No."

"So then why did you practically drag me out of there."

"Because," he spoke pulling off, "if you want to shake your ass I prefer you do it for me at home. In private. Where only I can enjoy the show."

A faint smile came over her lips, "I have no problem doing that if that's what you want. But I don't think anyone was watching me."

"Yes," he growled, "they were."

She undid her seat belt, not caring about the noise the car began to make. Instead she leaned over, pressing her lips to Elijah's ear, "But I only have eyes for you." She noticed how he began to drive faster. The speed was thrilling to her. Especially since she was no longer in her seat. "And that's all that matters."

"You should sit down."

"Why? Are you going to pull over and fuck me? We haven't had car sex yet." The alcohol was making her a tad ballsy but for the most part she was fine. She was aware of what she was doing and saying.

"Is that what you want?"

"Car sex?"

He nodded.

"I want everything with you," she said seriously. He glanced away from the road looking at her before looking back. "But tonight, I want to be in the house. This is our only night to get it on in there." She laughed after she said it. She could not believe she had just said "get it on." They hadn't had sex while they had been here. This would be the first time they had sex in a while actually. She had made him wait long enough. She had put herself through enough wanting. She was ready to have now.

He didn't respond to her but he had them back to his house in no time. He had the car shut off and was at her door in an instance helping her inside. The minute they got through the threshold he vampire sped her to the couch. He set her down, standing in front of her. She smirked, patting the seat next to her. The minute he sat she moved so that she was on her knees, she leaned over, taking his top lip between hers. She sucked on it lightly. She continued to do that before she began to really kiss him, moving her mouth fully against his. He kissed her back quickly letting his tongue dominate hers. She moaned, loving the feeling. She had missed this so much.

They hadn't had a real kiss like this in a while. She had only been giving him pecks and she only allowed him to give her a quick kiss whenever he initiated.

But tonight, she knew that they would be making up for lost time. Elijah moved away from her lips to suck on her neck. She allowed her head to fall back. As she did she kicked off her heels. She heard when they hit the floor with a thud. One of Elijah's arms snaked around her back and down to her dress pulling up. A smile came to her face as she felt his hand palm her butt. He quickly moved her so that she was sitting on his lap, her legs on either side of him.

He took his time looking at her. "You are so beautiful."

A smile came to her face, "Glad you think so." She didn't move in at first. Instead she continued to look at him. She absolutely loved this man with all her heart. He was perfect.

Slowly moving in she pecked his top lip before kissing him. It wasn't a greedy kiss that they shared. Instead it was slow and sensual. Her soft lips moving against his. It was like their lips belonged together. Against each other. She didn't even notice that he had been moving her until her back hit the couch. The whole time he had kept up with the kiss.

"Like this," she said, pulling away from his kiss. "Just like this. Clothes on," she moved her face into his neck.

He knew exactly what she meant. She wanted him to take her like this. With her dress, thong and jewelry on. He had no complaints.

"If that's what you want," he murmured.

"I do," she said into his neck. "We can make love later," she let her tongue slip out from her mouth, licking along his neck before sucking. He gripped her harder to him. She could feel hm. "But right now, I want to fuck." She looked at him in his eyes, "I want you to fuck me into this couch."

Elijah didn't respond to her, instead his hand circled around her. She could hear her dress unzipping. He let it go all the way to the bottom before he moved his hands away.

"Take your arms out of the dress."

She quickly did as she asked. The minute her arms were out he grabbed the dress pulling it down to expose her nipples. The hard buds were ready for him. Waiting to be sucked on. He groped them in his hands, quickly taking them into his mouth and sucking. She propped up her head as she watched him suck on her nipples.

"Oh yeah," she murmured. She continued to watch him. As she did she felt herself getting wet.

Elijah let go of her nipple with a pop. He then kissed each one, letting his tongue peak out a little. As she watched him take care of her she had her mouth propped open a tad. Moving up quickly he gave her a kiss, letting his tongue do all of the work as she relaxed into it. He let his hands roam her body. Smack. She groaned into his mouth as he sucked on her tongue and gave her ass a smack. She would be lying if she said that she hadn't missed that either during there time a part. She had.

Elijah released her mouth from his, moving down her body. Her dress was already pulled up but he pulled it up some more so it was past her hips, by her bellybutton. Before she could speak a gasp came out of her mouth. He put his face in thong. She watched, wide eyed as he kissed up and down along her thong before he moved it to the side. He stared at her.

"So beautiful."

She breathed out, "Please."

"Please what?"

"Kiss my pussy."

He moved her thong to the side. Her pussy was so wet and ready for him. He did as she asked, placing a kiss on it.

"Again." He did it again. "More please."

He didn't need to be told twice, moving it Elijah took her clit into his mouth, sucking. Her back arched off the couch, especially when he stuck two fingers into her. He made sure that his fingers and tongue kept up with one another as he continued fucking her with his tongue.

"OH YEAH," she yelled allowed. It was the best feeling in the world for her. It was euphoric.

Elijah went faster. Speeding him his tongue he continued to eat her out. Maddie moved her hands into his head holding him there. His fingers were still going at a quick pace in her as well. Her back arched off of the couch as she came against his face. She breathed heavy, watching through hooded eyes as he continued to lick up her juices from her pussy and then her thighs. She let out a small whimper when he moved away which caused him to chuckle. He came back and kissed her clit before standing.

"Where are you going?"

"Nowhere," he spoke, unzipping his pants. She watched in fascination as he took his cock out. She sat up slightly seeing the pre-cum oozing out of the head.

Wasting no time, she got close, putting the head in her mouth and sucking on it. She didn't mind giving him head. Especially when she knew that he enjoyed it from her. He pleasured her in so many ways this was the least that she could do for him. However, before she could finish him off, she pulled away.

"Don't worry about that," Elijah said. He put her back on the couch, putting her in the position she had previously been in. "You ready?" He wondered, rubbing his cock along her wet center. He pushed it in a tad before pulling it out.

"Don't tea-, OH MY GOD!" She hadn't had a chance to finish because Elijah slammed his huge cock into her.

As he fucked her he moved over her so that he was covering her body. He loved her facial expressions as he took her. Her eyes half shut, her mouth open and relaxation on her face. Getting closer to her he let his lips touch hers. He didn't take it any farther, just allowed them to touch. As he did so he moved her legs so that they were up on his shoulders. That way he could fuck her harder, deeper.

"I'm going to cum," she breathed against his mouth.

He sped up his pace then. He wanted her to come all over him. "Come for me," he said, pushing her legs more. They still rested against his shoulder blades. "Come for me Maddison."

"AH!" She yelled out as she came around him. He soon followed, spilling his seed inside of her.

She let her arms wander around him as they lay there breathing. Her thoughts were racing. She thought about how incredible that was.

Elijah looked at her. She was sweating but smiling at him. Moving his head, he took a nipple into his mouth sucking gently before letting it go. She let out a short moan.

"I love when you do that."

"Ready for more?"

She nodded, "Take me upstairs. Take my clothes off and make love to me all night."

Elijah pulled out of her and scooped her up in his arms. He held her majorly naked body in his hands, "Your wish is my command."
