[Second attempt at third person. Wish me luck.]

The Shredder storms into Baxter's laboratory. He is not happy in the least. Not after hearing about Lexi's performance in the field only a few short hours ago. How she had the chance to take out the turtle menaces, but did nothing. Simply walked away, leaving them to their own devices. If he had been in her shoes, he'd of killed them on the spot. No question. And it aggravates him that his soldier does not have the same values.

"Baxter," Saki growls at his scientific advisor, "Progress report."

He's been having Baxter run tests on the serum. It had a few glitches which is why it had yet to be tested. It seems that the chemical doesn't take away all memories. At last not permanently. It's almost like just after a car crash when the victim forgets something. But, eventually, they all come back. And that's what the serum is doing to his soldier.

"I've been working on a stronger dosage," Baxter confesses, "But the science used in this experiment is rudimentary at best. The slightest tweaks could cause her great brain damage…" Seeing that the metal man does not look pleased, he gulps, "However, there is a solution." He turns and grabs a vile of the mixture, "If she starts having any memories or flashbacks, we could simply give her another dose. She'd pass out again, lose what she remembered, and come to like a brand new soldier. The down side to this, of course, is constantly explaining to her that she is your soldier."

Shredder nods, seeming to accept the proposal, "Is there a way that, instead of giving her memories of the turtles, she remembers being here instead?"

Baxter leans back in his chair, thinking this over, "I suppose…if after she wakes from the dosage, we brainwash her. We would simply implant the idealism that she is your follower and also give little snip bits of false memory. It shouldn't take too long to whip up that kind of video."

"Get on it," the Shredder demands, before turning for the exit.

Baxter's curiosity gets the better of him, "If I may…why are we keeping her around? It seems she's more trouble than anything at this point." It is confusing to Baxter because the entire point of this plan was to use the serum on the turtles and make them his loyal subjects. But when the girl was hit instead, the Shredder decided to take her anyway. They had never planned on taking the girl at all.

Saki doesn't turn to face the scientist, "Because she will be their downfall."

Leaving Baxter even more confused than before, the Shredder leaves. He is still caught up on what happened back at the warehouse. How she had gotten the better of him. Leonardo had been taking him on, one on one, for a good while and was holding his own. But a simple flip and slip by the girl had taken Shredder to the ground. And then she managed to fake him out and run, keeping from getting caught. But most importantly, she distracts the others.

It hasn't gone unnoticed that she is the weakest link. At least, that's how she perceives herself to others. Saki has taken special note of her skill, strength, speed, and stamina. Her will and persistence haven't gone without notice, either, but what he has noticed the most is the team's inability to fight cohesively when one piece is missing. So why not take the most vulnerable?

While she fights with her brothers, she is perceived as the weakest. But while being here, while working by herself and not letting her brothers believe they are better, she has shown more skill than had been seen on the battlefield. This much was proven when she faced her brothers at the museum and took at least two down.

No, Alexandria is not the weakest member of the Hamato clan. In Saki's mind, she might just be the strongest.
