Nothing… Nothing happened… there was just silence… and darkness… until she opened her eyes.

A bright light came from above the hole she was currently in. she sat up, but soon felt a pain in her head. she suddenly realized what happened. She fell from the surface, but the flowers she was laying on must have soften her fall.

Now i'm sure you've already heard a story just like this; the human falls from mt. Ebot, and they fall on the golden flowers. But this time, it's different. Instead of golden flowers, it was something else.

"Where am i?" she said before hearing a response in an echoing voice "Where am i?" She looked were she was sitting to see blue glowing flowers echoing what she said. The blue flowers stopped glowing after that "Hello?" she called out. The blue flowers lit up again and said "Hello?" again, echoing her voice. These flowers must be copying what i say, she thought.

She decided to look around a little bit. She stood up, but soon after felt the pain in her right leg. It hurt so bad to walk on it, but she tried. She looked around to find a loose stone perched on the wall of the cave. She could move it if she tried. So she gave in all her strength and push the rock out of the way. She saw a hole that she could crawl through. It was a little tight, but she got through it.

When she crawled through and stood up, she saw more of those blue flowers. There was a waterfall, and a river going through the place. It was beautiful. Other than liking the color blue, the flowing water seemed to glow. and it felt so calm being in this room, She forgot the pain in her leg. She saw other ways to go. She pushed a boulder in front of the hole she crawled out of to hide it. She walked through the place a little, but she started to here… something.

She heard footsteps, was there someone with her in here? She hid just in case. But when she saw them, they didn't look like a normal human being. in fact, they weren't even human.

They had white fur and animal like ears. They had paws, but they walked on two feet, and They had a yellow and lime green striped sweater.

They seemed to be the same age for their size, but what if their not, and what they might hurt her? Were they the only one?

She poked her head out a little more to get a better view. But then the monster looked over to her. They saw her!

She quickly ducked her head back behind the rock she was trying to hide behind "W-wait!" the monster said "Don't worry! I don't want to hurt you" the monster gave a nice smile, and She poked her head out just a little to see it. Were they lying? Were they going to trick her

She thought about it, and she decided to make a run for it. But when they stood up and tried to run, the pain from her leg came back. It hurt so back, it hurt like fire.

She looked up to see the monster right beside her, she got afraid and tried to get away "please, don't be afraid! I want to help you" the monster said to calm her down. The monster held out his hands in arms reach of her. She thought about it, then reached out her hand

The kind monster helped her up and to her keep her balance "my name is Asriel, what's your name?" Asriel asked introducing himself. What was her name? She does not remember her name. In fact, she cant remember anything before falling from the surface "i-i don't remember my name" she said nervously "well then, why don't we make you one?" Asriel said with a smile "what's the first thing you saw when you fell down here?" Asriel asked "the blue flowers that echoed my voice" she said "you mean the Echo Flowers?" Asriel asked. She nodded, and Asriel seemed to know the answer "your name is now Echo!" Asriel said with excitement "Echo" She, or Echo, repeated to herself. She suddenly felt the pain in her leg again. Asriel got worried and said "let's get you home to my mom."
