Night Wind

Disclaimer: Butch Hartman does; I don't.

Author's Note: This is the busiest summer of them all. With my boss wanting me to cover more hours, I have not been getting any writing done at all, so I am seriously behind on updates. I've got the first two chapters of the sequel to Spring written, and will have a new chapter for At Three up soon in the next few weeks.

Queen

"Alright, my Watcher, I will send you, Sam, and Tucker into the awaiting scene. It will appear to everyone that you were all taken at the same time; it would cause chaos, otherwise, should you come in later. Your parents will have their roles to play later. When you awaken, neither you, nor the other two shall ever be aware you were outside of Time when these events occurred. Are you sure you wish this?"

"I am sure," the Watcher replied to the Clockwork Chronos.

"Then all as it should be," came the resounding answer, as the clocks began to tick once more.

Can it be removed?

The Clockwork Chronos has ingrained it very deep in his psyche. We believe it can be suppressed at best.

Then do it before he wakens.

"Danny, oh thanks goodness, you are alright!" the voice of his new-born sister, caused his to gasp and open his bright cerulean eyes. Jazz squeezed his hand tightly and helped him to slowly sit up.

"Elizabeth," he whispered, looking around. "Where is she?"

"We don't know," Sam answered for Jazz. "When we woke up, we were in this really bright room for a long time; Sidney was separated from us, then they brought you in. The moon came out not too long ago and we were brought to this strange garden and just left here. You were placed against one of the trunks of these weirdly glowing trees and then you just fell over, crying out in your dreams about 'the Seventh' and 'something being suppressed'."

"Dream," he muttered, mulling it over in his mind. Before he could say anything further, one of the great stone doors in the wall surrounding them opened, and Coach Tetslaff was led by what appeared to be Danny's older brother in ghost form.

Danny's fingers formed a name briefly, before he remembered he was only permitted to speak aloud to the humans. Bell.

I am. You are Phantom, came back the reply. The humans will be cared for here in this place. Do you remember?

Was born here, Phantom signed back. Don't remember much else.

It is just as well. The Queen of the Night Stars calls you forth, Night Lord. Can you not hear?

No.

Bell frowned. Something was wrong with the Night Lord. It was as if he had been severed partially from their mental link with the Queen of the Night Stars. Come, I will lead you.

I know the way, Phantom signed back. Stay and watch over the mortals. They mean very much to me.

As Danny rose to his feet, he triggered his transformation back into his natural form. When he had been placed into the sun cellar with the others, his protective human form had blocked most of its rays and there was no need for him to use it here. One white gloved hand stroked Jazz's cheek. "I am fine," he whispered, too low for Bell to hear. "I know you are the Watcher, Jazz. I also remember the Lethe fruit. I have not forgotten everything."

Jazz's eyes widened with shock. What had the Time Master wrought with this one?
