CHAPTER #57
[LIGHT MATURE CONTENT]
Taron returned to the Red Keep. The guard that had stopped him earlier was not there, to his relief. The castle was still on red alert and via gossip he found out about Qyburn's death and the killer's escape. It made him smile internally, because the plans they'd made were working out and Tam was fine too. Taron had time and so checked out the castle. He flirted with all the servants he ran into, listening to their conversations. It was similar to missions in the past. During one of the conversations with a servant, he observed a young blonde man, who could've been Jamie Lannister's double, leaving Queen Cersei's bedchamber.
"Wow is that Jamie Lannister?" Taron whispered to the cute servant girl he was flirting with.
She giggled. "No, he's older and taller. The Queen doesn't see Jamie much anymore."
"Well young guys like me, have a lot of stamina." He winked.
"Hmm… I'd like to be the judge of that," she purred.
Taron kissed her long and hard. "Where can we go during daylight, that we won't get caught? I like to take my time…."
Again she giggled, looked around and then headed for some stairs. "No one goes to the caverns where the old dragon bones are kept, now that the Hand of The Queen is dead."
"I heard about that. How'd it happen?"
"Probably from a whore. But some guy did get away, apparently flew like a bird. The guards got into the ale that night, so no one believes them."
It was shortly after, that they arrived in the lower caverns. Taron recognized the area, as they were close to the dragon killing weapon. The girl was eager to get into his pants, almost ripping the fabric. He took control and expertly had her ready for entry. True to his word, slowly he built her need and prolonged the ecstasy she felt. Taron had to cover her mouth with his hand, when she vocalized her multiple orgasms. Still he hadn't come to his climax and continued to ride her until reaching it. He smirked, when the girl passed out right after he finished. Putting on his clothes, it gave him time to measure the machine and memorize it, sketching what he could on some light tan hide. When the girl started to wake up, he returned to her side.
"That was fun, but I've got to go back to work," Taron said.
"You were… I've never… just wow." The girl sighed and got dressed.
When she tried to stand, he had to give her a hand. "Are you okay?"
"I will be… why don't you work in the brothel? You'd make better money for sure."
"Thanks, but I don't want any old guy in my bed and you can't choose who you get at a brothel."
"True and old women pussy would be gross too." She scrunched her nose in distaste.
"How do we get out of here?" Taron asked, even though he already knew.
She grabbed his hand and lead him up a narrow set of stairs. "This is a secret passage… well not so secret now that you know about it too."
"I won't tell anyone," he kissed her one last time and then went down the hall at a jog.
To fill Arya's request, Taron stole some food from the kitchens and then left the Red Keep. It didn't take him long to return to the brothel they had rooms at. A low whistle and knock, then he entered. He saw Arya, giving her a nod. Aulix was asleep.
'How is he?"
'He meditated a while and has been sleeping only a short time. Did you bring me any food?'
Taron dropped a sack in front of her, 'don't eat it all, some of it is for him.'
Aulix sat up and stretched. "You smell like sex… had some fun did you?"
"Sorry, did I wake you up?"
"No. Did you try a girl from this brothel? Anyone worth my time?"
"No to both." Taron switched back to their hand language. 'I was in the Red Keep. In the lower caverns, above where we found you earlier, there was this thing. Looks like it was made to kill dragons.'
They discussed the killing apparatus and Aulix re-drew it. The sketch would be sent to Gendry via bird. It might come in handy for the North's battle against the Night King, especially if the spear head was made from dragon-glass. Aulix borrowed a raven from the Red Keep and implanted a picture of Gendry and Dragonstone in it's mind. Then off it flew with the important information.
"Don't worry, I wrote on it that 'Ari says hi', so when he gets it he'll know you were thinking of him."
Arya kissed Aulix's cheek, "thank you."
Taron snorted, "you're getting soft… spoiling her like that."
Aulix tried to kick out his foot, which turned into a wrestling match between him and Taron. As usual the guy who started it, won. He kept Taron in a headlock and said, "tomorrow night we finish this. Is everything ready?"
Arya nodded. "Have you talked to Tam and Byt?"
"I have."
"What happens afterwards? I mean once we reunite with Gendry, then what?"
"We go to war, unless you want to go back to Essos."
"War it is," she sighed.
Taron got out of the headlock. "Today we have some fun. I picked up some coin, so we'll eat and have some drinks."
"Now that's a plan I like," Aulix agreed.
"You're such a lush," Arya teased.
Arm in arm the three of them left for the ale house that was near Littlefinger's Brothel. It had the best quality of booze in all of King's Landing. On their way there, they played tag, running and jumping through the streets. All of them picked pockets of the more fortunate as they went. Aulix had stopped to avoid knocking over a little boy. As he went to go around him, the child grabbed on to his arm.
"You're part of the prophecy," the boy stated.
Aulix looked at him, noticing the yellow eyes. He crouched down, patting the kid's head. "You mistake me for another."
"No. I know. You're life is tied into the future." The child put Aulix's hand on his temple. "You know, you see."
Taron had back tracked to Aulix, but the latter held up his other hand, telling him to wait. To the boy he said, "we all have a path to choose from."
The boy dropped his hand and laughed. "Remember the old; blood and fire."
Aulix gave the kid some coin and added, "come to Braavos, we'll be there once this is done."
Yellow Eyes got serious again, "you find it," then he pointed at Taron, "but, he fixes with it."
That in itself was a warning, that Aulix understood. Standing he smiled at his friend, but when he turned to look at the child, the boy was gone. Not sure if he'd imagined the exchange, Aulix fell in step beside Taron.
"Who was that kid? Did you knock him down?"
"No, I'm more agile than that. He has strong greensight and came to warn me I guess."
"About what?"
"A future without ale, if we don't catch up to Arya."
Taron didn't like his question being dodged, but decided to ignore his instinct. "I only gave her a little bit of the coin, I've got the rest."
At the tavern they found her in a corner, waiting for them, with two jugs of ale waiting. She toasted them with her jug of cider. "What took you so long?"
"Aulix was making friends with a local kid," Taron explained.
"Whatever, hurry up and drink your ale!"
Arya didn't want to get sick, but still drank a few rounds of cider. She left later and went up onto the roof, waiting for the guys to finish their drinking. It was much cooler on the roof in Westros, than it was in Braavos, but it was closer to home than she'd been in years. Thinking back to the reunion with her brother Jon, she wondered how Sansa was. In the past she'd hated her sister, but now that there were so few Stark's alive, family was everything to her.
"Checking up on me Aulix?" Arya asked, disappointed that it wasn't Taron doing it.
"Do I need to? I had to piss, then spotted you."
She knew that was a white lie, but left it alone. "I'm relaxed, that's enough for now."
"Your brother Bran is alive. He's in the North." Aulix reminded, "you have a lot of family to live for."
"Thanks. Don't forget you and the gang, they're my family too." Arya sat in silence a few moments and then asked, "are you still going to search for her once our mission is done?"
"No. We have different paths."
She calked her head to the side, "you never came to look for her in the first place. You came because of me?"
Aulix chuckled, "you've got a big head. I came for answers and I now have truths that create a new future for me."
"I hate when you get all secretive with your explanations. Come on, let's go back down and check on Taron."
He grabbed her arm, arresting her movement. "Do you believe in yourself?"
She smiled, "yes… always."
They returned to ground level and went inside. Taron handed her more cider and kissed her cheek. "Anyone want to check out the brothel next door? I'm paying," he offered.
"You can get a massage, if you don't want to hook up with someone there," Aulix suggested to Arya.
"It's a plan, let's finish our jugs and head on over."
